There’s a new archetype of sporty style gaining traction among the fashion set: the cool-girl tomboy. It’s athletic-adjacent, with one item similar to what you’d wear for the 40-yard dash or to kick a ball back and forth, but the end result is always closer to downtown chic than track star. Exemplar outfits include a tech-y windbreaker teamed with lace-trimmed shorts, side-stripe track pants paired with pointed-toe pumps, and, most popular of late, a baseball-style raglan T-shirt styled with separates that wouldn’t fare well on the diamond.

Not to be confused with the performance jerseys MLB players wear on the field, the baseball tees I’m talking about are casual, made of soft cotton, and come with contrast-color raglan sleeves. You’ll find them in the vintage T-shirt section of a thrift store or worn by an underdog little league team at the heart of an inspirational ‘70s sports movie, like the ones I’d watch in P.E. class when it was too rainy to go outside and play. Only now, in 2026, you’ll find them anywhere a fashion girl goes.

At the most recent New York Fashion Week, my fellow runway guests looked ready for a Yankees game (or Mets game, depending on their allegiance). Combing through Marie Claire’s celebrity street style coverage, you’ll read about trendsetters wearing baseball T-shirts with slip skirts and cutesy capris on strolls around SoHo. Elsewhere online, fashion content creators and Substack writers with follower counts in the high hundreds of thousands share outfit diaries featuring color-blocked raglan-sleeve shirts from mass retailers like Zara, Cos, Madewell, and Uniqlo's collab with JW Anderson.

All this is to say: baseball T-shirts have become the MVP of Spring 2026.

Perhaps my greatest takeaway here, though, is that the sporty staple is a perfect pinch-hitter trend to wear instead of a basic white tee or button-down—one that adds a stronger punch of personality and ups the intrigue of any outfit.

That’s how the celebrity set is using them at least. (Or, I should say, has been using them, considering high-profile trendsetters have been wearing raglan-sleeve tops for months.) While bopping around downtown NYC last summer, Zoë Kravitz wore look 43 from Auralee’s Spring 2026 runway: a brown plaid midi skirt and a sky-blue baseball tee. (If you want to impress a fashion know-it-all, mention that the Japanese menswear brand is on your radar.) The cerulean-sleeve pop of color made the chocolate browns of the skirt look sharper, richer, and overall heightened the entire look's impact.

The same applies to how Emily Ratajowski styled black pedal pushers last July: a button-up blouse would have worked, but she chose a sky-blue raglan-sleeve “I’m a speed skater” slogan tee from Bode, which was unexpected and thus more inspired.

There’s also a throwback vibe with a baseball tee that automatically makes them more compelling than, say, a regular all-white cotton crewneck. Women throughout the 1970s sported the color-blocked raglan-sleeve shirt with Daisy Dukes and denim flares. Cut to the late ‘90s, and baseball T-shirts were a key element of Rachel Green’s effortless girl-next-door aesthetic on Friends.

Because of its fashion history, when you wear a raglan-sleeve tee in 2026, whether it’s an authentic relic or a new-in buy from Aritzia, there’s a sense that the shirt has been around the block a few times.

What strikes me most about the recent rise of baseball tees, however, is that even I, someone who's allergic to athleticism, feel influenced to buy into the trend.

The only other time I can ever remember wearing one was when I played T-ball at age 8. (My uncle was the coach, so my mom made me join the league). I didn’t enjoy them then, as they were a symbol of exercise and time spent away from my Polly Pockets. But now, styled over a lace slip dress or with tailored Bermuda shorts, they can maybe help me tap into the latent cool-girl tomboy that’s hidden somewhere inside.

Despite the heaps of vintage Dior in Emily Ratajkowski's closet, she's been absent from the label's front row for nearly a decade. On March 3, nine years after her last invite arrived—to then-creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri's Spring 2018 show—she finally ended her hiatus in Dior by Jonathan Anderson selects.

Last weekend, Ratajkowski dusted off her modeling shoes for Demna's debut runway show at Gucci. By Tuesday, she jetted from Milan to Paris Fashion Week, simultaneously putting her spectator cap back on. In the aforementioned look book, the Pre-Fall model carried an extra-large messenger bag atop the top's silk shoulder. (The metallic silver shoulder strap boasted Dior's emblem in all caps.) Since Ratajkowski wasn't in mom mode at the Dior presentation, she likely didn't need a bottomless bag. Instead, the My Body author packed only her essentials into a black leather clutch that read more wallet than purse. Ratajkowski's finishing touch? Blink-and-you'll-miss-them hoops, which traded places with the model's bow-shaped drop earrings.

It seems Ratajkowski is proving just how versatile an It-girl she is this Fashion Month: Her Dior and Gucci Fall 2026 looks couldn't be more different. On Feb. 27, Ratajkowski joined a slew of celebrity models in Look 71's micro-mini party dress. She looked straight from a circa-1993 fashion week after-party in a silver rhinestone-covered mini. If Ratajkowski is anything like fellow model-turned-entrepreneur Bella Hadid, she's keeping her PFW schedule under lock and key until her next outing.

A plethora of world-famous models arrived at Milan Fashion Week this week, where many of them took part in Demna's first Gucci runway show. Since joining the fashion house in 2025, Demna has made it clear that his Gucci era will be a little different. For instance, a star-studded red carpet premiere for a Gucci short film officially launched his tenure as creative director.

After walking the runway as the epitome of the Gucci party girl, Emily Ratajkowski and boyfriend Romain Gavras were photographed arriving at the Gucci dinner on Friday, February 27.

The Too Much star traded her '90s-inspired silver-studded mini dress from Gucci's runway in favor of another look from the fashion house. Ratajkowski opted for a black jersey slip dress, with thin straps featuring the designer's iconic gold Horsebit hardware.

Ratajkowski accessorized the dress with a black leather Gucci Jackie Slim Small Shoulder Bag, which retails for $2,450. Per the fashion house's website, the style is new for Spring/Summer 2026, and "presents a sleek, relaxed style crafted from soft grainy leather that has been carefully aged by hand to create a time-worn, vintage-inspired effect."

The model and actress completed her outfit with a pair of black suede pointed-toe knee-high boots.

It's no surprise a few models-turned-celebrities (and vice versa) made Gucci's Fall 2026 fashion show the focus of their Milan Fashion Week.

The February 27 runway show came with a lot of hype, after all. It was creative director Demna's first proper fashion show for the label, though he'd officially started designing in 2025. (Actors including Demi Moore modeled his first collection last September in a short film called The Tiger.) Now, with the initial 38-piece collection in stores, the brand turned back to the runway for a celebrity-filled affair. Familiar faces were everywhere, from Gabbriette and Alex Consani to Karlie Kloss, in her first Fashion Month gig since Schiaparelli's Spring 2024 Couture show two Januarys ago. Her khaki midi skirt—covered in Gucci's interlocking Gs—echoed the collection's '90s tone.

Elsa Hosk also ended her runway hiatus with Gucci, albeit in a more off-duty outfit. Her track pants and trench coat combination couldn't have been more different from Emily Ratajkowski's 'fit. Fresh off Tory Burch's Fall 2026 runway, EmRata showed the Gucci girl's party side in a micro-mini, crystal-covered dress. Rhinestones were a leading motif from beginning to end, too: Kate Moss's black turtleneck dress brought them back to close the collection. If that didn't feel Gucci by Tom Ford-adjacent enough, its open back revealed the new-and-improved Gucci thong, as teased by Hailey Bieber last November.

Demna couldn't revive the Gucci brand archetype without the OG: Kate Moss, a Gucci woman on and off the runway since Tom Ford's Fall 1995 show.

This time around, Demna gave her the honor closing his Fall 2026 show in a glamorous black rhinestone dress. What started as a sleek turtleneck bodice transformed into an entirely open back, which highlighted her whale-tail thong. A metallic silver clutch upped the post-1995 party feel of Moss's final look.

Karlie Kloss

The centerpiece of Karlie Kloss's set was, without a doubt, her khaki pencil skirt. Its recognizable "GG" monogram stood out alongside a black oversize sweater, horsebit-topped pumps, and a matching, patent leather top-handle bag. Kloss is used to pulling off the circa-1933 monogram: It enveloped her entire metallic gold mini at the 2017 Met Gala.

Alex Consani

Alex Consani—the blonde backdrop of Demna's $48,000 tiger-print Spring 2026 coat—is officially his runway muse, too. She earned a starring Fall 2026 role in a long-sleeve, golden turtleneck dress that shimmered from head to toe. The structure of a hip-padded bustier peeked out from beneath the skintight bodice. Even Consani's pointed-toe heels continued the gold rhinestone theme.

Elsa Hosk

Demna dressed Elsa Hosk unlike any other Gucci girl on the runway: in track pants, an oversize V-neck, and cool-toned trench coat. Still, a stark white handbag-turned-clutch and monogrammed stilettos added some drama. A messy, Pamela Anderson-coded bun was the cherry on top of the noughties cake.

Emily Ratajkowski looked straight out of a '90s club in an itty-bitty, silver-studded mini dress. Pointy pumps and a chainlink clutch aligned the full look with something Moss would've worn to a post-show party.

Gabbriette

It's not a Gucci show without at least one naked dress. This time, Gabbriette had the honor of showcasing the short-sleeve, lacy mesh mini. A matching G-string thong emerged from beneath the Nasty Cherry singer's transparent, thigh-hugging hem. The eye-catching elements continued with peep-toe, sky-high mules.

Vivian Wilson

The 21-year-old model left quite an impression on the Fall 2026 catwalk. Her single-sleeve, turtleneck gown proved she's one to watch this Fashion Month and beyond. She even executed two-tone accessories as effortlessly as Consani and Moss.

Amelia Gray

All signs pointed to Demna introducing pantaboots, or something like them, at Gucci. (He couldn't get enough of them in his former role at Balenciaga.) Amelia Gray was the model who got the honor of wearing them down the runway, paired to a skintight white T-shirt and black leggings-turned-socks, stacked into horsebit mules. A croc-embossed burgundy bag all but secured this set a spot in Kylie Jenner's closet.

Mariacarla Boscono

Being in Milan, it's only right Demna cast an Italian model in his Gucci show. Mariacarla Boscono re-joined the ranks in a black, Morticia Addams-esque gown. Her black semi-sheer tights peeked through the thigh-high slit. It marked Boscono's first Gucci runway walk since 2009, after years sitting in Alessandro Michele's front rows.

TikTok creator Kayla Ryan claimed she found her "cure for getting-ready anxiety" in a July 25 video that's been viewed over 2.5 million times. She's wearing a snug white tank top, wide-leg jeans, and sneakers, with a tangle of gold necklaces layered on top. She calls it the "go-see outfit."

On the social media platform this month, go-see outfits are receiving the same treatment as fisherman sweaters and Pucci prints: They're framed as a "new" discovery, despite their many years of history in the industry. Searches have surged, with a Google Trends report showing queries for "go-see outfit" reaching a record high as of July 28.

Anyone who's followed models' runway comings and goings since the early aughts can tell you: go-see outfits are the simple basics, often a tight T-shirt or cami and low-rise leggings or jeans, that models wear to casting calls for fashion shows and ad campaigns. The phrase received its last pop-culture shoutout during America's Next Top Model's heyday, when Tyra Banks emphasized their importance to impressionable contestants.

Why? Because go-see outfits are designed to highlight a model's physique and their walk while remaining as unobtrusive as possible, the clothes are meant to complement, not distract. As creator @nicsfl1cs put it, "Models show up in the most flattering versions of their real-life looks."

To commenters on videos like Ryan's, the big debate is about the difference between a "go-see outfit" and a plain T-shirt. As an older millennial fashion editor observing this, I'm more concerned about the use of that other descriptive F-word. In my experience, go-see outfits are a relic of a moment in time we should forget—even if we keep wearing those same old pieces.

I was first introduced to the go-see outfit not through social media but by an assignment. It was 2017, during the annual casting for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Models gathered at the lingerie label's Midtown Manhattan office in their skimpiest shorts and tallest heels while photographers captured every move, hoping to secure a spot on the brand's glittering (and, as we now know, back then, highly controversial) runway.

As a junior fashion editor writing for another magazine's website, I was responsible for covering everything: who showed up, who received a callback, and scrutinizing every outfit. Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin) made headlines when she followed the go-see outfit formula but still didn't make it to the runway.

Primarily, the go-see outfit represented what these women would wear to be judged based on their bodies and walks. Year after year, the models who made the cut were always the thinnest. We now understand that this dynamic isn't limited to events like the Victoria's Secret casting call; it also affects the modeling world for on-location ad campaigns and major runway shows. (I recommend reading Cameron Russell's memoir for more insights into her time as a model and the industry's darker sides.)

I'm sure no one on TikTok intended for the go-see outfit discussion to become this intense—and who doesn't look at someone like Emily Ratajkowski or Gigi Hadid and feel inspired by their outfits? But specifically praising the go-see outfit becomes concerning when you think about who is getting hired for modeling jobs because of it. The annual Vogue Business fashion week casting study shows that size-inclusive models appearing in major fashion week markets have decreased over the past three seasons. Combined with advertising for weight-loss drugs and activewear that promotes 'thin is in,' the go-see outfit seems like another sign of an increasingly body-negative cultural climate.

Packaged as a "go-see outfit," basics like clingy tank tops and track shorts or pants feel aspirational mainly because of who's wearing them and where. Outside of this very specific context—and on women not running around a major U.S. style city—these pieces might not communicate the same so-called model energy. It's a phenomenon my colleague, fashion features editor Emma Childs, mentioned on Slack with a single question: "Is this a good outfit, or is she just skinny?"

I can already predict some of the responses to my complaint about this specific fashion discourse. "You're just a triggered millennial!" "You're only complaining because you're too [insert unkind adjective about my appearance here] to dress like this!"

I'll admit that dedicating too much emotional energy to a TikTok trend isn't smart. By the time I click "publish," someone will claim to invent another catchy phrase for an outfit formula we all already know and wear, and the cycle will begin again.

Still, seeing this relic of an earlier, less-woman-friendly fashion era makes me pause. We can reboot the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show to make the casting more inclusive; we can acknowledge when luxury designers create for curves with models to match (and call them out when they don't). And we all, of course, can wear leggings and little camis to our hearts' content, regardless of our size. But if we’re bringing the "go-see" look back, let’s make sure the casting call feels different this time.

On Saturday, July 26, the Too Much actress celebrated the fashion house's latest campaign, of which she's the star, at an intimate cocktail party and dinner in the Hamptons. For the occasion, she paired a sleek little black dress with not one but two Gucci GG bags.

Ratajkowski attended the event, which took place at LDV at The Maidstone Hotel & Restaurant in East Hampton, where she was joined by special guests including Havana Rose Liu, Sarah Pidgeon, and Tina Leung. The author of My Body wore a little black dress featuring two hip-high side-splits. She accessorized her LBD with strappy black sandals, and was photographed with two enviable Gucci bags.

On day two of her Euro summer vacation, she wore it to the beach with another summer 2025 staple: Miu Miu's crochet tote. So, what I'm hearing is, it's time to awaken my inner child.

A hop, skip, and yacht ride away, Emily Ratajkowski soaked up the sun in the iconic Burberry bikini. I was too young to pull off the early-aughts status symbol 20 years ago, but now's my chance.

If anyone can encourage me to give swim shorts another go, it's Jenner. I haven't worn them since my pre-teen summer camp days, but the billionaire's bedazzled shorts have won me over. Apparently, I'm not their only fan, because the Gimaguas bottoms sold out immediately after Jenner debuted them. Lucky for us, the label offers similar styles while we await a restock.

Hailey Bieber's Cheetah-Print Bikini

At this point, the animal print renaissance has touched every portion of Hailey Bieber's closet. Over the past year, the model curated handbags, outerwear, and dresses in zebra, leopard, and cheetah. On May 19, she added a cheetah-print Tropic of C bikini to her menagerie.

Emily Ratajkowski's Burberry Bikini

Ratajkowski is the newest Burberry babe on the block. On vacay in Anguilla (an island in the eastern Caribbean Sea), the supermodel came out swinging in the brand's resurgent tartan triangle bralette and stringy bottoms. In later photos, the My Body author went full Kate Moss mode with the matching bucket hat.

Kim Kardashian's SKIMS Set

Just 24 hours after Kim Kardashian's swim collab with Roberto Cavalli dropped, the SKIMS founder modeled a best-selling set. She chose the triangle top and thong bottoms in the Fagianella print: a baby blue floral pattern inspired by an archival Roberto Cavalli creation. The A-lister layered the complementary sarong atop her hips, but in true Kardashian-Jenner form, the cover-up sold fast.

Gabrielle Union's Fruity 'Fit

Sure, Gabrielle Union wore this intricate BYDEEAU bikini back in April, but it still lives in my mind rent-free. Hand-beaded tropical fruits adorn each cup in a poolside take on fashion's foodie trend fixation. The hipster bottoms, on the other hand, feature an ombré print underneath a bedazzled sunset.

Sophie Turner's Turquoise Two-Piece

Patterns are certainly having a moment this season, but one-color combos still deserve a spot in my swimsuit drawer. Sophie Turner set the blueprint when she went turquoise blue for her friend's bachelorette trip. The Game of Thrones alum paired her bikini with a matching sequin skirt for extra coverage. It was semi-sheer, so her stringy thong still peeked through.

Kourtney Kardashian's White Bikini

If I could copy-and-paste a Kardashian's vacation attire into my suitcase, Kourtney would be my girl. Case in point: this $80 stark white set from Gooseberry. I splurged on her swimsuit weeks ago, now all I'm missing is the luxury yacht in the background.

Suki Waterhouse's Newspaper Bikini

John Galliano's Dior newspaper print is the envy of all Sex and the City fans. Ever since it appeared in Season 3, Episode 17 of the show, I've kept my eye out for vintage pieces on secondhand sites. While my hunt continues, Suki Waterhouse's waterproof rendition from Dipped In Blue will suffice.

The word of Marie Claire fashion features editor Emma Childs is law: the Burberry bikini is back. On May 14, Childs reported the early-2000s status symbol has traveled through time from one set of It girls to another. Then, one month later, Emily Ratajkowski answered the fashion expert's call.

Ratajkowski packed the itty-bitty, teeny-weeny, tan, plaid striped bikini for a trip to Anguilla, an island in the eastern Caribbean Sea. On June 10, Ratajkowski shared a post-vacation Instagram dump, with the designer two-piece front and center. EmRata channeled Kate Moss (a.k.a. the OG Burberry babe) in the beige, black, white, and red bikini top, complete with a halter neck and triangular cups.

Next, she slipped on the coordinating side-tie bottoms, which were hidden underneath linen polka-dot pants. A baseball cap and a pendant cord necklace à la Jennifer Lawrence tied the summer set together.

The tartan didn't stop there. In another close-up, Ratajkowski wore a striped cover-up alongside Burberry's bucket hat. Just like her swimsuit, the cap was covered in the iconic multi-color check. Similarly, the flared rim also leaned Y2k-inspired.

Instead of sporting head-to-toe Burberry, Ratajkowski broke up the pattern with an equally-historical print: Gucci's monogram. In another pic, Dakota Johnson's new Gucci tote bag hangs off the supermodel's shoulder.

As seen on the Cruise 2026 runway, the "fits everything" style (and its 18.5" opening) made for the ultimate beach bag. In fact, Ratajkowski was one of the first to give it a go. During the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, she modeled for the collection's corresponding campaign. So, it seems she took home a souvenir.

I don't think I could be more obsessed with Emily Ratajkowski if I tried. Why? On May 21, the model was seen in Cannes wearing an outfit that is the epitome of my European summer mood board. She appeared to be filming a commercial amid the Film Festival madness, wearing a brown matching set and a bikini top peaking through. The accessory de résistance, however, is her bouncy blowout and headscarf combination.

Ratajkowski’s vintage-inspired look came together thanks to a few well-placed curls combed out to give the illusion of an effortless blowout. She topped the style with a silk scarf and oversized sunglasses, a combination that made her look like the main character of a vintage ‘50s film. This hairstyle was a mainstay for Old Hollywood starlets like Audrey Hepburn, but has had an unmistakable renaissance over the past few months.

Scarves are an easy way to add some flair to a simple hairstyle and are also one of the best hacks for keeping your hair out of your face during the warmer months. Like Hepburn and the chic heroines of our past, they are also a great accessory to keep on hand to stop your hair from becoming too wind-blown when you’re, say, on a yacht in the middle of the Mediterranean.

On Wednesday, Ratajkowksi briefly ditched a comfy morning indoors to brave the storm with the help of a viral layering hack.

Ratajkowski's rainy-day look consisted of three monochromatic tops stacked one over the other. She was spotted out in New York City wearing head-to-toe black, which included a sleek oversized leather blazer worn on top of a hoodie and what looks like the collar of a black crewneck T-shirt. She also wore a pair of baggy Weyes Blood sweatpants.

The "High Low" podcast host accessorized with black sunglasses—even though the sun was nowhere in sight. She also wore multicolor crew socks and, once again, her throwback Puma Speedcat OG sneakers.

Now, Ratajkowski might've not put much thought into her simple one-two, but she coincidentally endorses a layering trick of the year: the "shirt sandwich." While it may not be anything revolutionary at first glance, it has been an effective styling method on the runway and in street style.

The "shirt sandwich" method, worn by Ratajkowksi and seen in collections from Bottega Veneta to Victoria Beckham, involves stacking "two shirts (typically a lightweight turtleneck and a knit layer) and a third shirt," Leandra Medine Cohen, a proponent of the look, explained to Marie Claire.

While you can layer a few tops in different colorways and patterns, Ratajkowski demonstrates that contrasting silhouettes and textures could be the best way to spruce up an all-black outfit.

Luckily, her layered look is simple enough to recreate for just about any occasion—and trust, it'll be an outfit formula you won't want to put down. While it may not completely cure the rainy day blues, it will at least invigorate your closet outlook.

Emily Ratajkowski is a relatively new divorcée, and she's thoroughly enjoying her single era. Almost two years after officially splitting from her former husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, it appears as though the supermodel is commemorating her breakup by way of diamonds.

On Tuesday, March 19, the "High Low" podcast host posed under her bed sheets in an Instagram post, while flashing a shimmering set of "divorce rings." In her caption, EmRata revealed that her two new rings are courtesy of the New York-based jewelry label Alison Lou—however, they aren't entirely "new."

With the help of the brand's designer and creative director, Alison Chemla, Ratajkowski split her original ring from Bear-McClard in two, creating one pear-shaped diamond sparkler and another princess-cut diamond piece. All elements of her "divorce rings"—including the stones and 18-karat yellow gold settings—were sourced from her engagement ring.

"We made the original two-stone engagement ring that set the trend…Here we go again @emrata Divorce Rings™️," Chemla wrote under the brand's recent update.

According to Ratajkowski, her now ex-husband custom-designed the original engagement ring. In 2018, she told Vogue that the duo went through about "50 sketches" for the process of creating her one-of-a-kind sparkler.

Ratajkowski's rings seem to celebrate a new stage in her life, one that involves an optimistic outlook regarding her marital status. "Personally, I find it chic to be divorced by the age of 30," she said in a TikTok video that the model posted in September 2023.

"I don't think there is anything better than being in your 30s, still being hot, having a little bit of your own money, figuring out what you want to do with your life, and after [trying] that married fantasy and realizing that it's maybe not all it's cracked up to be…you've still have your whole life ahead of you," she added in her TikTok video. "To all those people who are feeling stressed about being divorced, it's good—congratulations."

In that case, a very warm congratulations to EmRata.

Sure, Emily Ratajkowski has worn her fair share of trendy sneakers this year. But it's not every day that the supermodel wears the same pair twice in a row. Nor is it every day that her sneakers are under $100 and a rising celebrity favorite.

Yet this week, Ratajkowski's sneakers were all those things and more. While taking her pup Colombo on a walk outside of her West Village home on Thursday, Ratajkowski was captured in a slouchy white top layered under a lightweight buttercream blazer.  She styled her business casual look with chocolate brown wide-leg trousers and a pair of two-tone Puma Palermos, a soccer sneaker from the label's early 1980s archives that was recently re-issued.

The "High Low" podcast host also wore the exact pair the day before. She took her beloved pooch for a daytime walk in the neighborhood, bundling up in an oversized gray hoodie from local eatery Joe's Pizza, an oversize vintage Keith Haring-painted leather jacket, and straight-leg jeans. Completing the look, the Puma Palermos made yet another street-style cameo. 

Emrata's Palermo streak comes after she gave her stamp of approval to another shoe from the brand—Puma's Speedcat OG sneakers—at New York Fashion Week in February.

The athleisure label's low-top style was once an essential soccer players, but it's returning to the conversation alongside the TikTok-famed blokecore trend. (For the uninitiated, "blokecore" is a look that riffs on vintage sports fan outfits with jerseys, straight-leg jeans, and retro low-top sneakers). Puma Palermos have a lot of similarities with Adidas Sambas, which have also been adopted by dozens of A-listers.

Ratajkowski's affordable throwback Pumas already have at least one more famous fan: Dua Lipa, who wore them while rehearsing for her performance at the 2024 Brit Awards in London. The appearance came shortly after she fronted the brand's campaign for the newly-relaunched silhouette.

The "Training Season" singer showed off the Palermo in a cherry red shade on her Instagram last week, using the bright hue to add a pop of color to her all-black sweatsuit.

With two massive names behind it, could the Palermo be 2024's next It-sneaker? It's too early to say, but endorsements from other well-dressed sneakerheads (cough, Rihanna) will let everyone know. True fashion fans know the Oscars red carpet is just where noteworthy looks begin on Academy Awards night. After the awards ceremony, the stars headed to the annual Vanity Fair after party, where the A-list attendees wore arguably their boldest outfits of the night yet. While it's expected to see trends emerge on the vast red carpets (see nearly-naked florals, mermaidcore tones, and sheer dresses that hardly counted as clothes), it's rare to see celebrities actually match. Yet two style darlings, Kim Kardashian and Emily Ratajkowski, appeared on the red carpet in nearly identical dresses.

Emily Ratajkowski was one of the earlier guests to arrive at the post-Oscars event in Beverly Hills. For the occasion, the supermodel wore a sculptural gown, hailing from Jacquemus' Spring/Summer 2024 collection. 

The long white ensemble was one of the label's bridal looks, first presented in the South of France in January. The dress was worn sans veil and featured a flowy, tulle train falling right behind. The strapless square-shaped bodice was done into an asymmetrical angle that, at first glance, appeared to float off of her body.

The 32-year-old supermodel kept her glam minimal, wearing only dangling diamond earrings. Her brunette hair was in loose waves, and her makeup featured a matte nude lip.

As specific as Ratajkowski's outfit was, you'd think she'd be the only one to opt for such a gown. But soon after her arrival, Kim Kardashian made her way to the event. In a break from Kardashian's usually maximalist red-carpet approach, the reality TV star instead went for a more subdued, sculptural dress with uncanny resemblance to Ratajkowski's.

The Skims mogul chose a silk white gown by Balenciaga, which was sourced from the fashion house's Pre-Fall 2024 runway show, where it first debuted in black.

Like Ratajkowski, Kardashian's new iteration featured a strapless bodice with a pointed, sculptural neckline. The dress was also fitted at the waist, with the skirt creating a small train at her feet. 

The Kardashians star also opted out of statement accessories, with the exception of classic diamond studs and a diamond ring. She finished the look off with barely visible pointed black heels.

On the beauty front, she wore a dark, smoky eyeshadow and a full neutral lip, with her hair cascading down her back in loose waves.

Though Kardashian and Ratajkowski's "accidental twinning" moment could be a mere coincidence, both their after-party looks could perhaps foreshadow a new era of red-carpet dressing. If the biggest sartorial stars are ending award season in trippy bridal ensembles, a bevy of sculptural, trompe l'oeil glamour could be on dek for the 2024 Met Gala and beyond.

Emily in Paris—sans pants? Yesterday, Emily Ratajkowski touched down in the City of Light during Paris Fashion Week in a chic all-black outfit that embraced this year's dynamic no-pants trend. Ratajkowski's pantless outfit is the latest in a slew of bottom-free celebrity outfits—but hers felt distinctly EmRata in that it was a compilation of other equally-as-viral trends, too.

While stepping onto the rain-drenched streets, Ratajkowski emerged from her car in an oversized black sweater dress that hit her upper thigh. The drop-sleeved style, which featured a rounded mock neckline and exaggerated longline sleeves, created a pantless appearance due to its oversized, micro-mini silhouette.

Ratajkowski opted to elevate the piece with a black leather trench coat, as well as minimalist accessories: a leather shoulder bag from The Row and oval-shaped sunglasses.

Her pantless outfit earned a dash of light-hearted sophistication from the model's trendy leather ballet flats, which featured a front strap along the top of her foot. The black hue of her Mary Janes streamlined her all-dark look from head to toe.

The no-pants trend is one that Ratajkowski's tried before, as seen at Puma's Mostro show during New York Fashion Week—where she similarly used a longer top to create a pants-less illusion.

However, Ratajkowski's lack of pants in Paris proved the pantless trend's range—there's no singular way to go seemingly without bottoms. Just look at other stars like Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, and Hailey Bieber, who have also taken on no-pants styling with shorts, briefs, and oversized tops in a range of colors, shapes, and textures.

In the no-pants lexicon, Ratajkowski's all-black attire created a sharply sophistiated take on the trend while remaining comfortable and—dare we say it?—practical. Whether pants-less or not, we can't wait to see what she wears next.

While heading out to dinner in Paris, the My Body author wore a Courrèges navy midi-dress with an extremely plunging neckline. The risqué V-neckline hit right around her navel, making the dress one of her most edgy outfits as of late. However, to no surprise, Ratajkowski pulled off the look like the supermodel she is.

She styled the midi with a pair of brown suede thigh-high peep-toe boots while holding a classic black clutch under her arm.

She paired the modern top with a side-buttoned midi skirt and square-toe boots.

With more high-profile shows and A-list celebrity sightings ahead, this is only the beginning of what's to come over the next few days.

If there's one runway Emily Ratajkowski will make time for during New York Fashion Week, it's Tory Burch.

Last night, Burch presented her fall 2024 collection, marking her eponymous brand's 20th anniversary, at the New York Public Library. The supermodel showed her love for the brand by walking in the show—her fourth with the label.

Ratajkowski modeled Look 30 from the collection in a croc-effect leotard that featured a floral embellished strap paired with a shimmery, sequined sheer knee-length skirt. She also wore a pair of sheer black tights and black pointed-toe court shoes with a silver buckle. Completing the look, she was styled with grape-like drop earrings. The leotard and skirt combination completed a trio of all-black looks from Ratajkowski's prior Tory Burch runway shows.

In terms of glam, Ratajkowski wore a natural, fresh-faced look with a nude lip, and her hair was slicked back with a dramatic side party that led into a long braid hanging down her back.

Ratajkowski made her first Tory Burch appearance in the brand's Spring/Summer 2023 collection at New York Fashion Week in September 2022. Back then, she wore a black long-sleeve mesh top with a color-blocked brown and orange skirt, a black mini belt bag, and a pair of statement beaded hoop earrings. The skirt was one of the first signs of an aesthetic evolution at Tory Burch—and it was seriously coveted among fashion editors.

EmRata returned to Tory Burch again in February 2023 for the Fall/Winter 2023 collection. She shut down the runway wearing a satin corset style top with a midi skirt and fishnet tights. The look was even more of a departure from Burch's typical brand codes, but it marked an exciting new direction for the brand—foreshadowing the model's edgy yet elevated look from last night.

Most recently, Ratajkowski walked the Burch runway a third time in September 2023. Then, she modeled a hyperfeminine hoop-style black mesh dress at the American Museum of Natural History. Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber have both worn a pink variation of the style following the silhouette's debut.

Ratajkowski's deep relationship with Tory Burch goes far beyond the runway. She also modeled for the brand's spring 2023 campaign with her son, Sly, and chose Tory Burch for the 2023 Met Gala, with a flapper-style dress honoring the theme of “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty."

For now, the model is limiting her runway appearances to a select few designers. Prior to last night's show, Ratajkowski appeared in Jacquemus' spring 2024 fashion show, “Les Sculptures," alongside Gigi Hadid.

Emily Ratajkowski is a woman of many talents. As it turns out, in addition to being a model, mom, and author, the Viktor & Rolf ambassador also moonlights as a hairdresser. For herself, that is. 

Despite having access to some of the best stylists in the business, Ratajkowski made what I can only imagine was a split-second decision to bring some scissors into the shower and give herself a little trim. “Swear I’m not going through anything I just needed a cut,” she jokingly captioned an Instagram carousel revealing her haircut process.

Do a little swipe through and you’ll not only find yourself staring at the star’s miraculously even, clavicle-grazing lob, but also the remnants of hair trimmings chilling on her chest mid-shower. 

Naturally, the Instagram community had a lot to say about the Lying and Stealing actress’ impromptu chop, jumping into the comments section of her post to share their approval. Irina Shayk dropped a string of fire emojis, while fellow model Delilah Belle Hamlin insinuated she’d be taking a page out of Ratajkowski’s playbook and giving herself a little trim, too. 

The subtle split-end spruce up is most likely part of the Inamorata Swim founder’s mission to get her hair in the healthiest shape possible. “I really just do hair health,” Ratajkowski exclusively told Marie Claire earlier this month. “I used to not be able to grow my hair past a certain point because it would break. Now, it grows and it’s healthy.” Healthy enough for regular trims it seems.

Last night, Emily Ratajkowski arrived at Puma’s New York Fashion Week show sporting one of fashion's most dominant—and divisive—trends: the no-pants look.

The model’s outfit consisted of a pair of high-waisted micro shorts hidden beneath a long zip-up jacket. As for accessories, she decided to style her look with a suede shoulder bag and a fiery pair of red Puma Speedcat OG sneakers, a collaboration between Puma and Italian motorsport company Sparco.

Ratajkowski’s Puma outfit put a sporty twist on the no-pants trend, but this isn’t her first rodeo with micro briefs. This past December, Ratajkowski attended a Miu Miu event in New York City wearing white briefs, which ever so slightly peaked out above a pair of black leather micro shorts.

At the time, Ratajkowski's look was reminiscent of Miu Miu’s Fall 2023 Ready-to-Wear collection, where models sashayed down the runway in a variety of progressive pantless looks. Crowd favorite outfits from the show included a buttoned-up cardigan tucked into a pair of underwear, beautifully embellished underwear paired with a black knit top, and sheer underwear adorned with stunning floral patterns. 

Miu Miu isn't the only house to champion pants-free looks: Bottega Veneta, Ferragamo, Tom Ford, and Gucci are just the start of a long designer roster with high-fashion briefs in their collections. Runway versions are more exaggerated than Ratajkowski's, with embellishments, beading, and vibrant colors.

The brand is donating five percent of the profits from all Unlocked products to the Nonhuman Rights Project’s mission to unlock the cages of wild animals in captivity, hence the caption and Colombo's cameo.

And, she prefers to do her makeup from the comfort of her nightstand. “When I lay in bed, everything is well in the world,” the Inamorata founder ever-so calmly tells me as we sit side-by-side on a hotel couch. 

She’s perhaps the most relatable person I’ve ever interviewed—and not just because I share her love for a plush mattress. It shows in her beauty routine, too. She fell for the snail mucin craze on TikTok (I’m guilty), goes through Aquaphor like candy (who doesn’t?), and just wants a fragrance that’s going to make her feel like Rihanna (same, same). My alarm clock is my son saying, “Mama.” He's been doing this thing where he tells me that he's dreamed about me, which is so cute. I make coffee and spend some time with him. Then I’ll turn to my own routine—sort of.

I usually don't wash my face in the mornings. The first thing I do is  put on vitamin C serum, then I put on snail mucin, and then I put on a vitamin C moisturizer. I do sunscreen, and that's my skincare.

Cheerios recently—because of my son. If he's having cereal, I'll end up wanting some because it's just so good. When I cook him eggs, I just don't feel like eating them. But if he's like crunching on cereal? It looks so good.

Fitness Fix

I live in New York City so I walk a lot. I have a dog and I don't have a dog walker. Everyone thinks he's a German Shepherd. He's not. I'm a loser and I got his DNA testing. He’s 90 pounds, so he's a big boy. I do have a little backyard area, but he needs a decent amount of walks. Then my son is 35 plus pounds and I carry that man around. He likes to be held and I love to hold him, but it's getting serious. 

Signature Makeup

Then I start my makeup. I don’t do foundation, but I use concealer. Hourglass is what I’ve been reaching for recently. I’ll use Kylie’s Mascara. They used it on me on set and it’s so fluffy. I feel like I don't have to do that many layers. I love Charlotte Tilbury’s highlighter and contour. That’s how I bronze myself up. I use the Pat McGrath makeup stick and the freckle pen from TikTok—I really do love my freckles. My lips alternate, but I do love a good lip liner moment. Right now I’m using a MakeupForever one, but I really love the Rhode balms and all of the Pat McGrath lip glosses. There’s nothing like them. I can do it pretty quickly now—it’s all in all 12 products. So simple.

Self Care Ritual 

I am such a bed girl. Sometimes I just need to be horizontal with the blinds closed. Today, I have dinner plans and I might be a little tired, but we’re going to do it. I’m just going to give myself five minutes, on TikTok, in bed. I’ll pour myself a very small, but very nice, glass of red wine. I honestly might even start my makeup in bed because I might not quite be ready to get in the zone.

Signature Scent

Full transparency, not just because I’m the ambassador, I really love Victor & Rolf Tiger Lily. My makeup is always about trying to look sun kissed, even though I'm not. I grew up in Southern California. I grew up going to the beach. I look the best at the end of August when I have a tan. I feel that Tiger Lily just embodies this tropical, sunny energy. It’s like when you’re at the end of a girl's trip and you’ve been on the beach and you have salt water in your hair, so you slip on a cool dress and you're just like, Am I Rihanna? 

I really don't wear fragrance every day. It's a special occasion thing. My mom taught me to spray on pulse points and I've just done that ever since. But if I have a dirty shirt that I want to wear I’ll walk into a cloud. 

Hair Help

I’m really bad with hair. It's not that I'm low maintenance, I'm just not that good at it. I've accepted that. I really just kind of do hair health. I've been working with Kerastace forever and I swear to God that I changed my hair. I really feel like with makeup you can do drugstore. But I think you should spend money on hair products. I used to not be able to grow my hair past a certain point because it would break. Now it grows and it's healthy.

I feel like I never have enough Aquaphor. I need it all the time. I use it on my body. I use it for my son. I use it for my lips.

P.M. Routine 

I take off my makeup with Bioderma; it’s the best makeup remover. Then I wash my face with either Dr. Loretta or Dr. Dennis Gross face wash, which are both really simple and clean. I use retinol from Dr. Dennis Gross because it’s the only one that never gives me a hard time. His products are just great. I use snail mucin again and then sometimes I’ll layer that with Weleda SKin Food, depending on the season. When I wake up I’m ready to go.

In a world positively brimming with AI face filters, you can quickly get any beauty look you want. Lip filler? Easy. Skinny brows? You don't even have to ask! And while social media platforms have worked to make sure these filters are labeled, it’s sometimes hard to tell. Emily Ratajkowski's latest selfie offers the perfect example. On Wednesday, January 10, the 32-year-old posted a selfie to her Instagram story. In the snap, it appears she's lying down somewhere cozy, partially covered with a blanket. Her face, on the other hand, is covered in something entirely different: A whole constellation of cute brown freckles that reach across her cheeks and nose, up her forehead and down below her nose.

While the Instagram post doesn't say a filter was applied, I have a sneaking suspicion the marks aren't entirely real, or even created with makeup. (Although it is also worth noting that makeup artists are so talented their work can pass as filter.) On the same day the selfie was posted, Ratajkowski was actually spotted in real life, out and about in New York City with no freckles to be found.

Does it really matter how the freckles came to be? Not necessarily, although the My Body author—with her thick brows, long lashes, and peachy-nude lips—does look extremely cute. I'm only interested because I love a beauty tip: In real life, online, anywhere. I want those freckles for myself.

Over the years, many stars have experienced their own classic Marilyn Monroe moment, including Selena Gomez at last weekend's Golden Globes. But I don't think anyone has had a Marilyn Monroe moment while wearing cowboy boots and holding the latest iPhone in their hand.

Emily Ratajkowski experienced her own dress in the wind moment, only this time it was a high waisted black skirt with a thigh high-split. The actress must have been shivering as she strolled through New York, warming herself only with an oversized leather jacket.

Ratajkowski paired this skirt with a plain black t-shirt and tan-colored cowboy boots. She's proven herself to be a big fan of cowboy boots, wearing them throughout the year on any occasion.

She finished the outfit with a chunky necklace, silver hoops, classic sporty black sunglasses, and a black pleated leather handbag slung over her shoulder.

It's a stylish yet understated look, only slightly surprising in January.

Aside from this skirt to the wind moment, Ratajkowski actually shares quite a lot in common with deceased Monroe.

Both Ratajkowski and the actress were overly sexualized. For Ratajkowski, this came through her modeling and role in the "Blurred Lines" music video, which she has since said she regrets participating in. Even though Ratajkowski still regularly posts NSFW photos on her Instagram, it is now through her own agency and a manner of reclaiming her body.

Monroe unfortunately never had the chance to do this, and wasn't around to see Instagram or any social media platforms.

We can only hope that more female celebrities get the chance to celebrate their bodies on their terms, like Rihanna's recent campaign for her brand, Savage X Fenty.

You heard it here first, Emily Ratajkowski has the best winter coat collection, as proven by her most recent hot girl walks (winter edition). The model has become known for her impeccable street-style moments, which often take place outside her NYC apartment. While we are here for all of her on-the-go looks, something seems different in the past week. Every look is topped off with a coat even more covetable than the last. Let's break it down, shall we?

Most recently, the host of "High Low with EmRata" was spotted walking her dog in West Village wearing a Loewe belted shearling trimmed coat that quietly screamed luxurious. She paired the covetable coat with a black sweater, brown corduroy pants, and, unexpectedly, a pair of red snakeskin boots (wrong shoe theory, anybody?). She also sported a pair of circular glasses, evoking the "sexy librarian" aesthetic, which Bella Hadid is also cosigning.

Just a day prior, Ratajkowski was seen in a long leather coat from the brand Nour Hammour, which featured oversized shearling cuffs and a dramatic collar. She paired the coat with a simple pair of flared black trousers, pointed-toe boots, Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses, and the Loewe Medium Squeeze Bag (swoon). ICYMI - Kendall Jenner has also been seen out and about in Aspen having similar outerwear moments, so perhaps this is a signal that shearling-trimmed coats are the current "must-have" piece. We are more than ready to follow suit.

The multi-hyphenate model was also seen wearing a plaid and fur-trimmed Prada coat while strolling with a coffee in hand (essential for any hot girl walk). She let the coat take center stage, pairing the outerwear with her rounded-wire glasses, black pants, and a pair of black sneakers. While we might save a coat like this for a special occasion, like a holiday party or a date night, EmRata casually made it part of her everyday look. Let this be a style hack for all: a cool outerwear piece can bring even the simplest of outfits to a new level.

We are crossing our fingers that Ratajkowski pulls out another iconic coat from her seemingly extensive collection, but in the meantime, we are left to recreate the look ourselves. While shearling-trimmed Prada might not be in the cards at the moment, there are plenty of brands that sell statement coats with the same vibe. Here in New York, the months between October and March are considered "coat months." Not just winter, but the time of year when coats become the only signifier of a good outfit because they're often the only part of an outfit people see. A good dress or a great pair of jeans are useless if they're tucked away behind a massive puffer jacket. This is something that Emily Ratajkowski knows well. While walking around New York City on December 15, the model proved that coats *are* the entire outfit in a very statement-making furry plaid maxi coat.

Ratajkowski's coat is one she's worn before. It originally debuted as a part of Prada's Fall/Winter 2017 collection. She was first spotted in the plaid style shortly after in January 2018—and she's pulled it out yet again for winter 2024. From what we can tell, at least, the rest of the model's outfit was kept simple. She wore only a pair of slightly flare-legged black trousers and a pair of chunky black dad sneakers. In true New Yorker fashion, she only accessorized with an iced coffee in one hand and a pair of slender round glasses. The morning coffee run has never looked so good.

Maxi coats like Ratajkowski’s used to scare me, but they’ve become a staple in my winter wardrobe. As someone who’s five-foot-two on a good day, I thought they would make me look shorter than I am and opted for a cropped puffer jacket instead. However, after spending one too many snowy winter days freezing from the waist down, I finally leaned into the look. I will not be going back any time soon. 

Not only was I warmer than ever before, but I found that a maxi coat actually made me look longer, especially when styled with a pair of heels. They also work great worn over a formal look. Nothing ruins an amazing party dress like a bleh black puffer. A maxi version—especially one with fun furry details like EmRata’s—complete the look without competing for attention. Or, they’re great when you want to look pulled together with zero effort. Sweatpants and sneakers feel like more of a look when worn under a plaid or furry coat, don’t you think?

There are two things that seem not to phase Emily Ratajkowski at all: a cold winter's night and spending a whole evening in tight leather.

The model and actress tackled both of those challenges last night for a Miu Miu event in New York City. She donned bold leather mini shorts and a cropped jacket combo for the occasion; the jacket was short-sleeved and adorned with large brassy buttons, which matched the gold of the belt of her shorts.

Peeking out of the shorts were simple white undergarments, which contrasted against the leather. Ratajkowski carried a tiny black leather bag alongside the look, which could fit an iPhone at most.

This iconic look matches recent trends of hot pants and micro mini briefs, which many believe to be reminiscent of Edie Sedgwick and a similar trend of the 1960s. With a leather version of these hot pants, there is truly no room for error.

Ratajkowski's leather cropped jacket also resembles a recent evolution of the working wardrobe, turning professional into stylish and subversive.

As always, no one does it better than Ratajkowski, who is no stranger to bold looks!

In contrast to this hot (yet likely simultaneously freezing) look, Ratajkowski put on some extra layers to go for a walk with Adwoa Aboah earlier that day.

Ratajkowski wore a black crop top with a large coat and denim jeans, made far more interesting by her striped heeled boots. Meanwhile, Aboah was stylishly casual in loose-fitting jeans and a light blue sweater, with a large black scarf to keep her warm.

The two models seemed to enjoy a hot girl walk, complete with coffee on the go.

As shiny lips continue their stunning comeback, we seem to be moving from slight sheen (was 2022 anything if not the year of the lip oil?) to full frost. Sure, it’s only early fall…but winter is officially coming—and we may have Emily Ratajkowski to thank for it.

In an Instagram Story posted Monday, October 9, the “High Low” podcast host showed off a new makeup look that perfectly blended a fall color palette with the wintery, frosted lip that was so popular in the early 21st century. Her lip combination featured an icy brown-beige gloss layered over a caramel-y lipstick. There’s a good chance that lip liner was included as well, as Ratajkowski’s already-full pout looked perfectly sized up.

While her lips stole the show for me, the rest of the look was also fabulous. Wearing minimal makeup so her freckles popped through, the 32-year-old’s brown eyes shined with a simple cat eye and a bit of mascara. While her outfit was made up of a brown knit tank (there’s a theme here!) and a brownish-red jacket with a fur collar, she accessorized with chunky gold hoop earrings.

Popularized in the ‘90s and ‘20s by the likes of Naomi Campbell and Pamela Anderson, the frosted lip is named for the “iced” appearance it gives off. While it used to be captured with a simple, dry lipstick (baby pink, red, brown—your choice!), modern makeup technology has given today’s products more hydration power, so you can achieve the look with less beauty-is-pain hassle.

The My Body author sported the look after returning home from some time spent in Paris for Fashion Week, where minimalist French girl beauty reigned supreme. With a worn brown leather jacket, sporty crew neck sweater, gray skinny jeans and New Balance sneakers, Ratajkowski served up effortless vintage style as she was captured walking with a friend in the West Village on Wednesday. The supermodel and fashion icon was at Paris Fashion Week last week, and it was very warm in the French capital.

As such, when i-D magazine approached Ratajkowski for a TikTok, their most pressing question was: "How do you dress for hot weather?"

Immediately, EmRata told them, "Um, inappropriately, obviously. Look at me... sweating so much."

Here, the star was referring to her very awesome but—yes—very warm-looking getup on the day. She was wearing a long black leather coat, paired with black sunglasses, mid-calf black boots, and a puffy Loewe Goya bag in dark green (she was dressed for the Loewe show at the time).

When the magazine followed up by asking her how she stays cool, the model said, "I'm naked underneath this, but I'm gonna go change," and that's as much info as we got about that. Legendary scenes, if you ask me.

Ratajkowski's unapologetic attitude is nothing new, which is why Marie Claire's 2018 profile of the supermodel was titled "Emily Ratajkowski Is Unapologetically Herself."

However, given its extravagance in comparison to her other rings, we couldn't leave it out. After Taylor's death in 2011, the diamond was dubbed the Elizabeth Taylor Diamond and sold at auction for a staggering $8,818,500.

Kate Middleton 

In 2010, Prince William proposed to college sweetheart Kate Middleton with a 12-carat oval sapphire that's surrounded by 14 diamonds. If it looks familiar, that's because it was originally Princess Diana's, given to her in 1981 by the then-Prince Charles. Over 50 years ago, the stunning piece probably cost Charles around $47,000, but now the ring is reportedly worth over $400,000.

The now-iconic ring does, of course, come with a bit of controversy. Firstly, it was originally supposed to be given to Prince Harry's bride, not William's. Since William was ready to marry, Harry gave it up. Additionally, back in 1981, Charles presented Diana with an array of rings to choose from, but none of them were bespoke and anyone with enough money could have bought one. But this wasn't an issue for Diana, who continued to wear the ring throughout her marriage and after their divorce.

Meghan Markle 

Meghan Markle's engagement ring from Prince Harry also has ties to the late Princess Diana. Back in 2017, Prince Harry proposed to the former Suits star with a three-stone ring, designed by Harry himself and full of sentimental meaning. The large center diamond comes from Botswana, where the couple spent time together at the beginning of their relationship, while the two side diamonds come from Princess Diana's personal jewelry collection. Two years after her proposal, Meghan redesigned the original gold band in favor of a micro-pavé band.

Taylor Swift

It was the Instagram heard 'round the world: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement in August 2025 with a joint post captioned, "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married." The carousel images gave us a closer look at the old mine brilliant-cut diamond Artifex Fineengagement ring the Kansas City Chiefs tight end proposed with. It was later revealed that he actually had a hand in the design, so that there were two tiny "Ts" carved on the band. Experts interviewed by Marie Claire estimated Swift's ring to have cost "between $750,000 and $1,000,000."

Zendaya

Zendaya revealed her engagement to Tom Holland in the most casually glamorous way: by debuting a ring on that finger on the red carpet. She arrived to the 2025 Golden Globes in January wearing a Louis Vuitton gown and a 5-carat East-West set, emerald-cut diamond engagement ring later revealed to have been designed by Jessica McCormack. A similar style is listed on the brand's website—though the price is only available by request.

Hailey Bieber 

Beliebers everywhere were sad to see Hailey Baldwin step out with an enormous rock on her ring finger during the summer of 2018. Justin Bieber popped the question to the model with a six to 10-carat oval-shaped diamond set in a simple gold band. Bieber custom-designed the piece himself, and it reportedly cost him at least $250,000. They married legally later that year, and hosted a wedding celebration in 2019.

Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra married Nick Jonas in December 2018, less than a year after the singer proposed with a custom cushion-cut diamond ring with tapered baguettes from Tiffany & Co. The actor joked to People that she gently guided her now-husband towards the iconic jeweler: “I just knew it since I was a kid. Jennifer Lawrence

Longtime Dior brand ambassador Jennifer Lawrence arrived at the brand's Fall 2019 Paris Fashion Week show in February 2019 wearing a new accessory we wouldn't see on the runway: an emerald-cut diamond engagement ring set on a platinum band, designed by Alison Lou. Benny Blanco worked with Katherine Theofilos Claster and Stephanie Theofilos of Abril Barret to create Selena Gomez's unique engagement ring, which she revealed on Instagram in December 2024. It boasts a solitaire marquise-cut diamond in a cathedral setting with an oversized brilliant-cut eternity band, according to Page Six. Its retro-glamour matched the vibe of her Ralph Lauren wedding wardrobe perfectly.

Ciara

Russell Wilson proposed to Ciara in 2016 with an engagement ring boasting a cushion-cut diamond believed to come in at 16 (!) carats. They married later that year, and she added a double diamond band to complete her stack.

Blake Lively 

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have one of the most covetable relationships in the spotlight, so it's no surprise her engagement ring is equally as admired. The seven-carat ring features a massive light pink center diamond set on a pave rose-gold band. Sofia Richie Grainge

We couldn't stop talking about Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge's spring 2023 wedding here at MC. From her low-key wedding makeup down to her gorgeous diamond, we're obsessed. Speaking of the ring, it's about as classic as it gets. "It features an emerald-cut center diamond, approximately six carats on a thin platinum band. Since the ring is set in platinum, a naturally white metal, the diamond sparkles even brighter! I would estimate this ring costs $300,000," Jenny Luker, president of Platinum Guild International USA, previously told Marie Claire.

Hailee Steinfeld

Hailee Steinfeld hasn't shared many details about her engagement ring from now-husband Josh Allen. From images, we know it's a cathedral-set round center diamond on a diamond pavé band. The Buffalo Bills quarterback proposed to the actor in November 2024, and the couple married the following May.

Elsa Hosk

Model and designer Elsa Hosk got engaged to longtime partner Tom Daly in September with a ring from Tiffany & Co.—specifically, the Soleste, which features an oval diamond at the center surrounded by small brilliant diamonds on a diamond platinum band. Jessica Biel 

Surely Justin Timberlake did not disappoint when he got down on one knee with this stunner. Over the years, Jennifer Lopez has had quite a few dazzlers on her ring finger (which we compared for your viewing pleasure). If we had to pick a favorite, it would be the engagement ring Ben Affleck proposed with in 2022. It featured an eight-and-a-half-carat green diamond flanked by two trapezoid-shaped diamonds, reportedly worth a staggering $5 to 7 million thanks to the green stone's rarity, per Bloomberg.

"Why green?" You might ask. "I always say the color green is my lucky color,” Lopez wrote in her newsletter, On The JLo. “Maybe you can remember a certain green dress. I’ve realized there are many moments in my life when amazing things happened when I was wearing green.”

When Affleck originally proposed to Lopez in 2002, he did so with a 6-carat pink diamond Harry Winston ring, which was worth $1.2 million at the time. The couple finally wed in the summer of 2022, but sadly filed for divorced two years later.

Ariana Grande 

Ariana Grande was given a massive two-stone ring by Los Angeles-based real estate agent Dalton Gomez, made all the sweeter by the sentimental meaning behind it: The oval-shaped diamond is believed to be around five to six carats with an estimated worth of $150,000-$200,000. Fans believe it's a pearl taken from her late grandfather's tie-pin and incorporated into her ring, making it an incredibly sweet family heirloom. Alongside a jumbotron and a 50-piece orchestra at San Francisco's AT&T Park, Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian with a 15-carat diamond ring from Lorraine Schwartz in 2013. Then just three years later, Kardashian revealed in a chat with Andy Cohen was given a major surprise in the middle of the night: a new, 20-carat ring. When Machine Gun Kelly proposed to Megan Fox in early 2022, he certainly chose a ring that suits her glamorous style. Although the stunning diamond and emerald ring appears to be just one piece, the rapper actually designed it to be two separate pieces with a special connection. "I know tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birth stone) and the diamond (my birth stone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love," he wrote on Instagram. He also revealed that the two bands are actually thorns so that if Fox takes it off, it'll hurt. How fitting.

In 2018, Emily Ratajkowski tied the knot with producer Sebastian Bear-McClard during a private courthouse ceremony (in a mustard-yellow Zara suit, mind you). At the time, the model only sported a simple gold band, but a few months later she was given a stunning Toi et Moi-style ring. The dazzling piece features a two-carat princess-cut diamond and a three-carat pear-shaped diamond on a simple gold band. Although the couple divorced in 2022, Ratajkowski said on her "High Low" podcast that she kept the ring, per Page Six.

Katy Perry

As someone who's worn a cupcake bra and a hamburger costume to the Met Gala, Katy Perry's engagement ring should reflect her unique style. Thankfully though, Orlando Bloom rose to the challenge: On Valentine's Day 2019, the actor popped the question with a cluster-style ring (similar to Princess Diana's) complete with a pink center stone surrounded by eight diamonds. The large pink gem has not been confirmed, but it could be a ruby, pink diamond, or pink sapphire, which could drastically change its value. If the stone is a ruby, it could cost between $25,000 and $50,000, but if it were a diamond, it could carry a price tag upwards of $5 million, per Harpers Bazaar. No matter its value, it's still gorgeous.

Just as rumors emerge that Zayn Malik and Selena Gomez are dating, Harry Styles and Emily Ratajkowski were spotted making out with intention in Tokyo, Japan.

A video has emerged on social media which shows them kissing with a whole lot of tongue next to a car, and of course commenters have lost the plot over this development.

"sorry i just f***ing woke up to FOOTAGE of harry styles and em rata sucking the soul out of each other," wrote one person.

"i did not expect to open twitter and see harry styles and em rata licking each other’s faces off," tweeted another.

"I’m sorry but this Harry Styles and Em Rata video is my princess diana, I will be 69 years old asking people what they were doing when they saw the video," quipped someone else.

"Imagine being the guy riding your bike past Harry Styles making out with Em Rata," observed another.

Someone else shared their favorite TikTok comment about the situation, which read, "I cant handle this anymore what am i supposed to tell the kids"

HAHA, I love this.

Anywho, apparently, circa 2014 or 2015, Styles called Ratajkowski his "celebrity crush" during a One Direction interview, per Amanda Hirsch, who said, "Harry manifested this"

Hmm, if you have a crush on—say—Tracee Ellis Ross or, like, Zac Efron, it might be time to say something... Or maybe it only works if you're Harry Styles. Who's to say.

For context, Styles was previously in a relationship with Olivia Wilde, which ended in November. Ratajkowski divorced from ex Sebastian Bear-McClard last year, and has since been linked to Pete Davidson and Eric André.

Emily Ratajkowski has always been a badass, but her latest Instagram post is taking her badassery one step further.

The supermodel posted some photos and a video of herself hanging from a harness in a photo studio against a plain white screen, while nude except for (I think) skin-colored underwear and black heeled sandals.

In the video, she is hanging close to the ceiling and upright with her long hair over her face before being pulled down towards the ground and gracefully leaning backwards with her limbs forming dancer-like positions while in the air, and her hair hanging behind her.

The My Body author captioned the post, "I do my own stunts," which—despite what some commenters seem to think—I'm fairly certain is tongue-in-cheek. Like, you can't have a stunt double for modeling photos, because then you just wouldn't be modeling the photos, right? I don't know. I don't know anything.

DJ Chantel Jeffries commented, "Stay fly," which is funny because EmRata is "flying" in the video, but being "fly" also means being cool! (Am I over-explaining???)

Meanwhile, Derek Blasberg wrote, "I need the b roll" and fellow supermodels Irina Shayk and Dilone chimed in with some fire and heart-eye emojis, respectively.

In other news, Ratajkowski is currently the face of Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb perfume, as well as hosting her podcast High Low, working on her swimwear brand Inamorata, and being a mom to son Sylvester.

Ratajkowski and her ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard separated last year. She has since been linked to a handful of famous names, including Pete Davidson, but has not given any updates on her relationship status herself.

Emily Ratajkowski and Pete Davidson appear to have made their official couple debut, and they did it in huge amounts of style.

The model and comedian attended the Memphis Grizzlies vs. New York Knicks basketball game at Madison Square Garden together this past weekend, making it a triple date with Ben Stiller and his wife, and Jordin Sparks and her husband.

The happy group of friends sat courtside, of course, with Ratajkowski and Davidson looking sporty chic as can be.

The Saturday Night Live alum wore a navy blue tracksuit with "Sinclair" written on the sweater, paired with dad sneakers and super cool sunglasses for the star factor.

The My Body author stunned in a brown North Face puffer, paired with light wash jeans and funky snakeskin boots.

During the game, Davidson and Ratajkowski were pictured laughing happily together, adding fuel to the relationship rumor fire.

In footage shared by sports broadcaster Jessica Benson, they were also seen sharing a familiar chat as they watched the game. Benson wrote, "NOT PETE DAVIDSON AND EMILY RATAJKOWSKI SITTING COURTSIDE FOR THE GRIZZLIES/KNICKS GAME"

The two were first linked a couple of weeks ago, following anonymous posts from gossip account DeuxMoi, then pictured together on the King of Staten Island actor's birthday. They also apparently attended a Friendsgiving party together. Still, neither party has technically confirmed that they are dating, so I'll leave that up to them.

Davidson's much publicized relationship with Kim Kardashian ended last summer, while Ratajkowski recently separated from her husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, in July. The exes share a one-year-old son named Sylvester Apollo Bear.

Hello, beautiful world! In this week's news, Pete Davidson and Emily Ratajkowski might well be dating, which is what I call a Very Good Match.

Celeb gossip account DeuxMoi fueled the rumor with a post showing messages from an anonymous informant.

These DMs read, "CANT BELIEVE IM SAYING THIS ANON PLS. EMRATA AND PETE DAVIDSON ON A DATE IN BROOKLYN TOGETHER. HOLDING HANDS AND ALLLLL."

They continued, "his hands were allll over her and they're clearly clearly hooking up"

The rumored couple immediately sent the internet into a frenzy, which is a buzzy media way to say, "people tweeted hilarious jokes about it and I enjoyed it thoroughly."

Comedy writer Rohita Kadambi said, "If you're in line to date Pete Davidson STAY IN LINE. It's your constitutional right."

Living legend Dionne Warwick tweeted, "I will be dating Pete Davidson next."

Rideshare company Lyft wrote, "Call her a Lyft or Pete Davidson will"

Someone else wrote, "The one that always perplexes me is Pete Davidson's short marriage to Ava Gardner in 1955." (Before you go googling that, this is a joke. Pete Davidson is 28 years old. 29 on Wednesday.)

Also, the amazing account @LizaMinnelliOutlives declared, "Liza Minnelli has outlived the mystery of whom Pete Davidson will date next. The serial lothario is dating model/actress Emily Ratajkowski." HAHAHA.

Others pointed out that given his dating history (Kim Kardashian, Phoebe Dynevor, Ariana Grande, Kate Beckinsale, Kaia Gerber), Davidson is clearly a catch.

One person wrote, "Seeing how butthurt men get about Pete Davidson dating beautiful successful women is so silly to me. Like we BEEN telling y’all, make us laugh, be goofy, treat us with kindness, and it could all be so simple"

Comedian Hanna Dickinson said, "I was describing a date that I had gone on to my therapist and she asked if it was with Pete Davidson. My point is, my therapist thinks I’m a 10."

Another user chimed in, "I find it funny when people act shocked that Pete Davidson dates beautiful women. Women have been telling men for decades that we want kind men who can make us laugh and Pete, by all accounts, is a sweetheart who treats women amazingly well. Learn from him, maybe?"

We don't know whether the King of Staten Island star and supermodel are actually dating or not, but they are both single and presumably ready to mingle following their recent breakups.

Davidson and Kardashian split back in August after 10 months of dating, while Ratajkowski reportedly separated from her husband Sebastian Bear-McClard in July.

Emily Ratajkowski is a Jane of all trades. She’s a fashion designer (peep: Inamorata), she’s a model, she’s a mom, she’s a best-selling author. And now, she can add professional hairstylist to her ever-growing resume. In a now-viral TikTok video shared over the weekend, the 31-year-old Superga ambassador decided to grab a pair of sheers and give herself a spontaneous haircut. Why did she chop her own hair, you ask? Allow her to explain: “We’re going to the beach and I want to give myself an extra layer in my hair.” Pretty convincing if you ask us. 

While she looked like a total pro snipping away at her bangs, there was a hint of hesitation. “Is this insane? Am I being crazy? Yes, definitely,” she joked. Fast forward through a surprise appearance from her son, Sylvester, and Ratajkowski picked up the pace. As mom duty called, she had to do a few snips off-camera, but rest assured she showed her followers the end result. 

“They’re looking pretty short,” the star said of her bangs. “I’ve cut hair before and this is not my best work. But it’s a start, it’s a moment.” Ratajkowoski may say otherwise, but we think he chop looks pretty professional. And, once her longer layers were pulled back into a pony, the whole look was *chef’s kiss.*

Fans couldn’t agree more. “This is so iconic. She just went for it,” one follower wrote, while another said, “I love your care free approach to hair cutting. It gives me confidence.” It seems as though bangs might not be the only hair change in the pipeline for Ratajkowski. After one person wrote, “Hear me out ….red hair,” the model chimed in, “....don’t tempt me.” 

So, here's hoping a DIY box of hair dye is in Ratajkowski’s future. 

Emily Ratajkowski always looks good, but her latest outfit was all sorts of gorgeous.

The model and author recently stepped out in New York City, wearing an oversized hot pink blazer by Valentino over a black sweater, black tights and black heeled knee-high boots. She skipped the pants, because when you look this fabulous, you don't need any pants—a simple fact of life. She wore her long hair down and wavy, and accessorized with cool-girl black sunglasses.

Ratajkowski released her essay collection, My Body, on Nov. 9, and it has since (predictably) become a bestseller. "My Body is a NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER!" the author recently wrote on Instagram. "This has been a surreal week. Thank you to everyone who has read the book and sent me messages about how my story has resonated with them and what it’s made them think about."

Ahead of the book's release, the star spoke to Vanity Fair about what it meant to her. "All of these are stories about my body in different ways," she said. "How it’s perceived, how I’ve used it, how it’s been used, what access it’s granted me, how it’s also made me at times feel like I’m nothing more than a body.

"I knew that a lot of people would roll their eyes at the title and think like, Oh, Emily Ratajkowski, wrote a book called My Body. Like whatever. One of the few silver linings of 2020: All of the new celebrity babies. The world was blessed with Willa Jonas-Tuner, Daisy Dove Bloom, Win Harrison Wilson...I really could go on and on. So while 2020 may have hit a little snag (and I mean little snag in the most sarcastic way), that didn't stop Hollywood from expanding their families. Otherwise known as: While you were attempting to bake sourdough bread at home in quarantine, these A-listers were getting busy. Thanks to pregnancy announcements from celebs like Kelly Rowland, Hilary Duff, Princess Eugenie, Mandy Moore, and more, 2021 is starting to not look so bad. Since we all love to get lost in the hype of baby fever, I made a list of all the celebrity pregnancies we're looking forward to in the new year.

The Crazy Rich Asians actor announced in an Instagram post that he and his wife, Liv Lo, are expecting and that "2021 is already looking brighter" as a result. Lo shared an announcement of her own on Instagram, writing, "Such immense joy this little one has brought us already. Now we get to share it with you💕We love you!✨," along with a photo of Golding gently touching her bump.

In an essay for the digital October issue of Vogue, the model revealed she was pregnant with the couple's first child together.

In the essay, she explained why they are prolonging knowing the sex of their baby, writing, "When my husband and I tell friends that I'm pregnant, their first question after 'Congratulations' is almost always 'Do you know what you want?' We like to respond that we won't know the gender until our child is 18 and that they'll let us know then."

Multiple outlets have reported that Kloss is pregnant with the pair's first child, though the couple haven't confirmed the news. A source close to the couple told PEOPLE, "Karlie is overjoyed to be expecting her first child in 2021. She will be the most amazing mother."

The actress posted a GIF of Koma rubbing her belly on Instagram, writing, "We are growing!!! Mostly me..." This will be Duff's third child and second with husband Koma.

The American Beauty star revealed to PEOPLE that she and husband Hope were expecting their first child, a baby boy, together. “It’s still this process for me of believing it and accepting that something this beautiful could happen for me,” she told the publication. “It’s been a very emotional experience,” she said. “It’s very weird finding out—I was like, I can’t believe it!”

The former American Idol contestant is expecting her first child with Foster. The couple was spotted in early October in Montecito, California, grabbing lunch together and shopping for baby buys, according to PEOPLE.

The singer announced she and Spy Kids alum Sabara are expecting their first child today on the TODAY show.

"We're so excited we couldn't sleep," said Trainor after revealing the news. "We've been waiting for so long. I was thinking about who do we tell first and I've told Hoda since I was 19, going to the Today show, 'I will have the most babies in the world.'"

The former Destiny's Child member announced that she and her husband, Weatherspoon are pregnant with their second child in Women's Health.

Surprising Game of Thrones fans everywhere, the actress showed off her growing bump for the Summer 2020 issue of U.K.'s Make Magazine. 

The royal family announced the happy news with a post on their official Twitter account in late September.

"Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021," the tweet read. "The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news."

The mom-to-be wrote broke the news on Instagram, sharing a collection of black and white photos of the couple showing off Moore's baby bump. This will be their first child together.

The High School Musical alum shared the news on Instagram, posting a series of photos of her and her husband looking down at her growing baby bump. No captions were provided, but you can just tell they're so excited!

The Notebook actress was seen leaving the Los Angeles children’s store the Reckless Unicorn in August looking visibly pregnant. The actress has yet to confirm the news, but this will be her second child with boyfriend Jamie Linden.

Hamilton star Leslie Odom Jr. and his wife, stage and television actress Nicolette Robinson, both took to Instagram to announce the new baby. The Tony-winning actor said in his post, "Lots of reasons to celebrate over here. Lots of reasons for hope too."

The musician and frequent Ariana Grande collaborator made the announcement on Instagram. She wrote, "My best collaboration yet..due to drop Valentine’s Day 2021." Monet wrote a sweet message for John Gaines, the fitness model and soon-to-be dad: "You’re gonna be such an amazingly loving, extremely funny, protective (in the best ways) dad!"

The La La Land star was spotted on a walk in Los Angeles with a burgeoning baby bump last December. A source told E! News that Stone is indeed expecting a child with husband Dave McCary, although the actress has yet to confirm the news.

The musician announced the news of her first child on Instagram, posing for an adorable maternity shoot. She tagged her beau and dad-to-be Alev Aydin, a producer and writer, in the post. She said simply, "Surprise!"
