The smoky eye saw several iterations in both diffused black and sultry silver at Elie Saab, Hermès, Lanvin and more. Slicked back buns received the French girl treatment at Chanel and Saint Laurent, while messy, undone hair savored the spotlight at Chloé, Gabriela Hearst, and Zimmerman, among many others—in case you needed a reminder that sometimes wearing your day-three hair is the most fashionable beauty choice you can make.

Call it the regency Bridgerton effect, but a feminine flush of rosy pink just on the apples of the cheeks appears to be the style du jour, so it might be time to reign in that blush blindness that has taken over the TikTok airwaves for the last few years. Cobalt blue and navy shades aren't just reserved to your wardrobe this season. Few fashion girls were as busy as Chappell Roan this Paris Fashion Week. She attended five shows in four days, each time gracing the front row in another daring design. On March 10, she bid farewell to Fashion Month with one last risk: a sheer lingerie set.

Acne Studios, Mugler, Rick Owens, Vivenne Westwood, and McQueen all hosted the Grammy winner this week, but her sultriest look hit Instagram after the shows. Roan traded a classic going-out top for bold underwear-as-outerwear, including a multi-strap black bra. The push-up piece featured sheer, strategically-placed cut-outs atop each cup.

Another mid-rave close-up showcased Roan's next lingerie-centric select: low-rise, micro-mini shorts. Garters atop either thigh made them even more risqué. She appeared to stack nude tights underneath, for more of a full-coverage fit. Her choice of footwear remained out of Instagram's frame. But this week, she borrowed Acne Studios sock boots, Mugler heeled flip-flops, feathered Vivienne Westwood sandals, and more. Perhaps Roan waited to return one of those pairs until after last night's fête.

Corsets like Roan's always have a place on runways, regardless of the season. Spring 2026 shows started a specific, under-bust corset trend, though. It began at New York Fashion Week, with Meruert Tolegen's distressed bustier. Then, London label Sinead Gorey cinched an oversize white T-shirt with a matching waist trimmer. Like Roan, its basque hem dangled over black, itty-bitty bottoms. Matières Fécales revived the silhouette with all-black attire at Paris Fashion Week. This femme fatale take was just as transparent as Roan's.

If anyone should become the face of a fresh genre of corsets, it's Chappell Roan. Her on-stage persona is practically synonymous with them. For instance, she debuted a new bustier almost every night on last year's Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things tour. It's about time Roan's off-duty self caught up.

According to my favorite fashion girls, I'm severely underestimating the power of tattoos. Not the wince-inducing, permanent kind, but temporary, fresh-from-a-birthday-party tattoos. First, Chappell Roan debuted faux back tattoos at the 2026 Grammys. On March 10, Tyla took tattoo styling to the next level: Her entire going-out top turned out to be a tattoo.

Tyla's Paris Fashion Week run didn't end with her final runway show. She reserved her last—and most daring—Fashion Month 'fit for Paris's Crazy Horse cabaret. Stylist Ronnie Hart sourced Maison Margiela alum Simon Carle for his signature, a tattoo-turned-shirt.

Ten separate, square-shaped tattoos came together to mirror a skintight, snakeskin jacket across Tyla's torso and back. (Zoom in to see the imitation, moto-style zippers atop her chest.) The tattoos continued down each arm, before stopping at the waistband of her dark-wash jeans.

Tyla helped Carle preserve his backless trademark: This tattoo only covered her front profile. The snakeskin stopped dramatically underneath her arms. Luckily for Carle, Tyla never shies away from an open back, even on red carpets. In late January, she attended a pre-Grammys Gala in a plunging, Dsquared2 cut-out gown. Similar to the tattoo, the "Water" singer's back remained untouched by its silky black fabric.

To spotlight Carle's creation, Tyla kept the rest of her post-fashion week look simple. Her unbuttoned, low-rise jeans and metallic DSquared2 heels matched each other's early-aughts energy. Tyla's snakeskin tattoo also inspired her evening-out It-bag: a python Valentino Panthea. The same chevron pattern has graced Bella Hadid, Jenna Ortega, and Rihanna's arms—just not with coordinating, temporary body ink.

Before Tyla, celebrities hadn't tested Carle's tattoos for themselves. But Charli xcx wore one of his proper garments to January's Sundance Film Festival. The Grammy winner's stylist, Chris Horan, dressed her in a tank top-inspired mini dress, which emerged from beneath a transparent rain poncho. Stark white lace decorated the thigh-high, PVC hem.

Before he knows it, Carle's tattoos could become a hero piece for pop stars far and wide. Tyla and Charli xcx are already on board the designer's bandwagon. With summer around the corner—aka prime time for flashing some skin—now's his chance to expand his It-girl clientele. I'm sure Chappell Roan wouldn't say no to another back tattoo or two.

Full-time runway models can sneak past the paparazzi after a fashion show. Celebrities like Gillian Anderson, on the other hand, can't fly under-the-radar as easily. After her runway debut in Miu Miu's Fall 2026 show, Anderson made a not-so sneaky, post-show exit. Perhaps her colorful take on the argyle sweater trend gave her away.

The Sex Education star first sat in a front row as early as Gucci's Fall 1997 runway. Still, she didn't ditch her spectator hat until March 10, 2026, when Miuccia Prada bestowed upon Anderson the honor of closing Miu Miu's 66-look show. "Surprise," Anderson wrote on Instagram Stories, alongside the flirty "wink" emoji.

Anderson helped Miu Miu initiate a naked dressing "vibe shift" (as fashion features editor Emma Childs called it) in a nude sheath. Once Anderson retreated backstage, she changed out of nearly every Miu Miu design apart from her noughties-coded comb headband. From there, she bundled up in moody neutrals, including a navy-and-red take on the argyle sweater trend. Contrasting diamonds cascaded from the navy turtleneck down to the hem—a subtle endorsement of Spring 2026's rising tomato color trend.

She paired the spring knit with anti-preppy, black skinny jeans, tucked into distressed moto boots. A shoulder-padded, navy blue coat married the contrasting aesthetics together with ease. It signaled quite a stark shift from the crinkly blazers, leather jackets, and fur-trimmed windbreakers shown on the runway just minutes prior, though.

If you can believe it, Miu Miu has yet to reach Anderson's red carpet clothing rack. The Fall 2026 show doubled as her first time wearing Miu Miu in public, let alone on the sartorial world's stage. Still, the Want author looked every bit a runway regular.

Anderson rehearsed for this moment on L'Oréal Paris's unofficial runway last September. Her silver Saiid Kobeisy Fall 2025 gown stole the show at the Paris Fashion Week-adjacent fête. After watching runway shows for the past 30 years, let's hope Anderson's switch from guest-to-model is a permanent one. She already has the post-show prowess to start (or revive) street style trends.

Since then, it's become the chain that links the Neverfull, Speedy, Alma, Keepall, and more models together. The Monogram has also cemented itself as a badge of prestige among Hollywood's elite. Everyone from Zendaya and Rihanna to Taylor Swift and Beyoncé wears the print with pride.

There's a new Miu Miu girl in town. On March 10, Miuccia Prada welcomed Tyla to her latest fashion show inside Paris's Place d'Iéna. The first-timer arrived in head-to-toe Miu Miu—per the dress code—plus a noughties-inspired take on the peekaboo boxers trend.

You wouldn't know the Fall 2026 show marked Tyla's Miu Miu debut. (Before now, she only wore the maison's monogram for magazine features.) Stylist Ron Hartleben dressed her like a longtime Miu Miu girl, not with the apron dress trend, but another Spring 2026 set. Tyla made a gray crewneck-tank hybrid her own by removing the runway’s baby blue button-down underneath. A two-inch band replaced a full-coverage back, which created plunging cut-outs on either side of her top.

The bowling-esque, Cognac-colored bag comes in two sizes, of which Tyla chose the smaller. Even so, its elongated zipper pocket could secure a 13-inch laptop with ease.

Nina Dobrev joined Tyla in Miu Miu's front row with the same Vivant as her plus-one. The Vampire Diaries star also got the exposed underwear memo.

To finish, Tyla threw her hair in a messy bun, which turned nostalgically chic with a gray scarf-turned-headband. It wasn't on the Spring 2026 runway, but neither were her brown slingback pumps.

Tyla's look could revive peekaboo boxers for good, four years after Miu Miu made the trend a house code. The Spring 2022 show helped them rise to fame under ultra-low-slung mini skirts and shorts aplenty. By Oct. 2023, Sydney Sweeney endorsed the look at Miu Miu's Paris Fashion Week show. Fast forward to April 2024, and Tyla tested boxers-as-outerwear beneath unbuttoned jeans.

Her underwear has only gotten more daring in the years since. For example, she filmed the 2024 "Jump" music video in itty-bitty hot pants, which revealed a neon yellow G-string to match her triangle bra. Then, Tyla attended Jacquemus's Jan. 2025 fashion show in a black maxi with sleeves that stretched so low, you could see her matching thong.

Given her affinity for visible undies, it's about time Tyla joined Miu Miu's celebrity clientele. Where will her RSVP take her from here? There's a chance more underwear-forward 'fits—with Miu Miu tags—are in her future.

You want it lightweight enough to swing from your fingers like a pendulum. If it looks like a fancier version of the cotton dust bags that come with a new pair of shoes, congratulations—you’ve hit the peak.

First seen on the runways last season and now all over the current Fashion Month street style, the appeal of the Spring 2026 bag trend is that it is truly minimal. In the sense of the less stuff, the better—and the chicer. A woman who can get away with using a dumb drawstring sack as a handbag, who’s unburdened by a corporate-issued laptop and the cursed errand of dropping off returns at FedEx, is living in a world of blissful luxury.

Like most fashion trends that, depending on who you ask, are either ridiculous or the most elegant thing fashion has seen in years, the pouch bag trend traces back to Miuccia Prada. In Prada’s Spring 2026 show, models gripped satin and nylon drawstring pouches in bubble gum, moss green, and chocolate brown. Fast-forward five months to the most recent Milan Fashion Week, where industry darlings clutched the Italian brand’s bags like emotional support accessories as they ran from runways to events to apertivo hours.

Plus, Prada wasn’t the only designer showing pouch bags for Spring 2026. At big fashion events, you’ll often see her with a slinky little pouch in hand, either one she made by knotting a silk scarf into the shape or a drawstring bag she easily could have pulled from a Prada shoe box. When Bottega Veneta creative director Louise Trotter was preparing her first collection, she told Vogue her starting point was "evolving" the house's most iconic offerings—that is, the best Bottega Veneta bags. "I wanted to open a dialogue between the heritage and my hand," she said. So her debut Bottega fashion show last September was filled with softened takes on the Lauren, Knot, Cabat and Veneta silhouettes, which have started making their way into A-listers' arms and onto store shelves.

Six months later, Trotter returned with her highly-anticipated Fall 2026 fashion show. The opening outfits reassured collectors that, yes, she's still putting her stamp on extra-oversize totes and intrecciato woven bags. But by the conclusion of the 81-look collection, it was clear Trotter wanted to elevate another item to hero status, or just plain status symbol: the fall coat.

Trotter's thesis statement for her era at the house is as follows, per her Vogue interview: "I believe Bottega Veneta creations are for the wearer." And as she considered the way her shopper will approach Fall 2026, she decided to do away with overly complicated layering and excessive styling.

The majority of looks boiled down to leveled-up takes on a classic coat paired to a knit beanie—not that that description can really do it justice. In her hands, a khaki trench levels up with an intrecciato woven collar and an oversize, contrasting leather belt. Black car coats are also entirely crafted from Bottega's preferred handcraft method: strips of leather woven into a slick, effortlessly cool trench. These coats, and armor-like, oversize wool versions, are the discerning shopper's upgrade in place of the usual scarf coats and seasonal jackets. They can definitely handle the wearer's commute or daily layering demands when temperatures drop; they also convey some if you know, you know energy without needing a logo or label.

Trotter also understands that some wearers want a little more drama from their shields against the elements. Or, if they're an A-list client, something over-the-top to style for dinner at Mario Baldi or Chez Margaux by next November. So the latter half of the collection leaned into capital-S statement coats: some in candy-color shades in the soft, shimmery recycled fiberglass from Trotter's debut, others in an imitation fur with extra-large shoulders and coordinating hats.

The more everyday-leaning Bottega Veneta coats were for people who fly under the radar with elegance; the latter are for making an entrance. Several in both categories walked the runway without a coordinating bag on the model's arm or hip—hinting that the It-item spotlight has shifted focus.

A plethora of world-famous models arrived at Milan Fashion Week this week, where many of them took part in Demna's first Gucci runway show. Since joining the fashion house in 2025, Demna has made it clear that his Gucci era will be a little different. For instance, a star-studded red carpet premiere for a Gucci short film officially launched his tenure as creative director.

After walking the runway as the epitome of the Gucci party girl, Emily Ratajkowski and boyfriend Romain Gavras were photographed arriving at the Gucci dinner on Friday, February 27.

The Too Much star traded her '90s-inspired silver-studded mini dress from Gucci's runway in favor of another look from the fashion house. Ratajkowski opted for a black jersey slip dress, with thin straps featuring the designer's iconic gold Horsebit hardware.

Ratajkowski accessorized the dress with a black leather Gucci Jackie Slim Small Shoulder Bag, which retails for $2,450. Per the fashion house's website, the style is new for Spring/Summer 2026, and "presents a sleek, relaxed style crafted from soft grainy leather that has been carefully aged by hand to create a time-worn, vintage-inspired effect."

Ratajkowski's inclusion in Demna's Milan Fashion Week confirms that she's most definitely on board with the new creative director's vision for Gucci.

I stock up on fresh matching sets every spring, and not just of the sweatsuit or linen variety. Even in denim, two-pieces are the one-and-done outfit formula I rarely take off. On February 27, Bella Hadid proved my matching set collection isn't complete just yet in the Canadian tuxedo of my dreams.

24 hours after making her Prada runway debut, Hadid was in no rush to jet back home to L.A. She stopped by Miss Sixty's Milan storefront for meet-and-greets with her fans. She wore a Canadian tuxedo from her collaboration with the women's denim brand, which drops on Feb. 28. Stylist Mimi Cuttrell chose Hadid's same light-wash co-ord from the corresponding campaign, including a fitted zip-up jean jacket. A single star-shaped, leopard print patch decorated her jacket's bust.

Of course, Hadid coupled the jacket with its other half: a low-rise take on the flared jeans trend. It marked her first shift from straight-leg silhouettes in weeks, at least since her dark-wash, Haala Denim pair on Jan. 12. Still, she styled them as she does most jeans: with vintage-inspired shoes. This time, strappy burgundy heels from Scandi label Anonymous Copenhagen were the winners.

Hadid's Miss Sixty set couldn't be more different from her four Prada runway looks. It was a perfect match for Spring 2026 fashion trend that's finally arriving in stores. Calvin Klein, Emilia Wickstead, Aje, and more introduced fitted Canadian tuxedos on their runways last season. Several came in shades just droplets away from matching Hadid's wash.

Skipping ahead to the current Fashion Month, Hadid isn't the only VIP bringing the Spring 2026 matching set revival to front rows. It's no surprise a few models-turned-celebrities (and vice versa) made Gucci's Fall 2026 fashion show the focus of their Milan Fashion Week.

The February 27 runway show came with a lot of hype, after all. It was creative director Demna's first proper fashion show for the label, though he'd officially started designing in 2025. (Actors including Demi Moore modeled his first collection last September in a short film called The Tiger.) Now, with the initial 38-piece collection in stores, the brand turned back to the runway for a celebrity-filled affair. Familiar faces were everywhere, from Gabbriette and Alex Consani to Karlie Kloss, in her first Fashion Month gig since Schiaparelli's Spring 2024 Couture show two Januarys ago. Her khaki midi skirt—covered in Gucci's interlocking Gs—echoed the collection's '90s tone.

Elsa Hosk also ended her runway hiatus with Gucci, albeit in a more off-duty outfit. Her track pants and trench coat combination couldn't have been more different from Emily Ratajkowski's 'fit. Fresh off Tory Burch's Fall 2026 runway, EmRata showed the Gucci girl's party side in a micro-mini, crystal-covered dress. Rhinestones were a leading motif from beginning to end, too: Kate Moss's black turtleneck dress brought them back to close the collection. If that didn't feel Gucci by Tom Ford-adjacent enough, its open back revealed the new-and-improved Gucci thong, as teased by Hailey Bieber last November.

Kate Moss

Demna couldn't revive the Gucci brand archetype without the OG: Kate Moss, a Gucci woman on and off the runway since Tom Ford's Fall 1995 show.

This time around, Demna gave her the honor closing his Fall 2026 show in a glamorous black rhinestone dress. What started as a sleek turtleneck bodice transformed into an entirely open back, which highlighted her whale-tail thong. A metallic silver clutch upped the post-1995 party feel of Moss's final look.

Karlie Kloss

The centerpiece of Karlie Kloss's set was, without a doubt, her khaki pencil skirt. Its recognizable "GG" monogram stood out alongside a black oversize sweater, horsebit-topped pumps, and a matching, patent leather top-handle bag. Kloss is used to pulling off the circa-1933 monogram: It enveloped her entire metallic gold mini at the 2017 Met Gala.

Alex Consani

Alex Consani—the blonde backdrop of Demna's $48,000 tiger-print Spring 2026 coat—is officially his runway muse, too. She earned a starring Fall 2026 role in a long-sleeve, golden turtleneck dress that shimmered from head to toe. The structure of a hip-padded bustier peeked out from beneath the skintight bodice. Even Consani's pointed-toe heels continued the gold rhinestone theme.

Elsa Hosk

Demna dressed Elsa Hosk unlike any other Gucci girl on the runway: in track pants, an oversize V-neck, and cool-toned trench coat. Still, a stark white handbag-turned-clutch and monogrammed stilettos added some drama. A messy, Pamela Anderson-coded bun was the cherry on top of the noughties cake.

Emily Ratajkowski

Emily Ratajkowski looked straight out of a '90s club in an itty-bitty, silver-studded mini dress. Pointy pumps and a chainlink clutch aligned the full look with something Moss would've worn to a post-show party.

Gabbriette

It's not a Gucci show without at least one naked dress. This time, Gabbriette had the honor of showcasing the short-sleeve, lacy mesh mini. A matching G-string thong emerged from beneath the Nasty Cherry singer's transparent, thigh-hugging hem. The eye-catching elements continued with peep-toe, sky-high mules.

Vivian Wilson

The 21-year-old model left quite an impression on the Fall 2026 catwalk. Her single-sleeve, turtleneck gown proved she's one to watch this Fashion Month and beyond. She even executed two-tone accessories as effortlessly as Consani and Moss.

Amelia Gray

All signs pointed to Demna introducing pantaboots, or something like them, at Gucci. (He couldn't get enough of them in his former role at Balenciaga.) Amelia Gray was the model who got the honor of wearing them down the runway, paired to a skintight white T-shirt and black leggings-turned-socks, stacked into horsebit mules. A croc-embossed burgundy bag all but secured this set a spot in Kylie Jenner's closet.

Mariacarla Boscono

Being in Milan, it's only right Demna cast an Italian model in his Gucci show. Mariacarla Boscono re-joined the ranks in a black, Morticia Addams-esque gown. Her black semi-sheer tights peeked through the thigh-high slit. It marked Boscono's first Gucci runway walk since 2009, after years sitting in Alessandro Michele's front rows.

Who else was shocked to see Kendall Jenner traded Emporio Armani's runway for the Fall 2026 front row? The surprises continued after the February 26 Milan Fashion Week show, too. She arrived at Emporio Armani's "Power of Fragrance" party in Cindy Crawford's vintage Armani dress. The lore gets even deeper: It may have been straight from her family's closet.

Not only did the global fragrance ambassador (likely) smell of vanilla, passionfruit, and orange, she oozed cool-girl glamour in skintight silver. Stylist Dani Michelle used Jenner's ambassadorship to access the label's '90s archives, though the exact date her spaghetti-strap slip debuted remains a mystery.

Each feature—especially the scoop neck and ankle-grazing skirt—fit her like a glove. Sequins sculpted into asymmetrical, horizontal stripes decorated every square inch of the dress. The motif matched the shine and shape of chainmail. Even Jenner's square-toe kitten heels got the metallic silver memo.

According to Kardashian Kloset on Instagram, the "rare" Giorgio Armani gown originally belonged to a Kardashian. It's unclear whether Kim or Kris Jenner was the proud owner, though. The family's authentic luxury retail site listed the exact chainmail-esque maxi in Nov. 2024, alongside vintage Alaïa, Chanel, Calvin Klein, Versace, and more. Who scored the silver look? The world may never know. All that matters is it ended up in Jenner's hands, a moment her momager would be undeniably proud of.

The ties to major names don't stop there. Cindy Crawford wore the aforementioned midi nearly three decades ago. On March 4, 1999, she—and her Armani design—sparkled at a St. Jude Children's Hospital benefit. The supermodel styled it somewhat similarly to her It-girl successor: with matching peep-toe mules, blink-and-you'll-miss-them jewelry, and a classic '90s blowout.

Usually Kaia Gerber gets first dibs on her mom's archival dresses, but Jenner and Crawford walked the 2016 Met Gala stairs together. So she certainly has an in with the icon.

If you haven't gathered by now, it's against Jenner's M.O. to walk a red carpet in an average designer dress. Milan Fashion Week requires something much more notable: better yet, a piece with major fashion history. Since her red carpet walks are so few and far between, she makes each one a moment. Jenner hasn't secured an official look this archival since her circa-1992 Mugler gown at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars Party. Let's hope she keeps this up at the 2026 Oscars.

Despite having a soft spot for sheer cutouts and topless gowns, Megan Thee Stallion doesn't wear naked dresses nearly as often as Hailey Bieber or Kim Kardashian. On February 26, she finally embraced It girls' favorite form of sheer dressing at Milan Fashion Week.

The Grammy winner jumped straight to front-row styling after the 2026 Winter Olympics. (YouTube's "Megan Takes Milan" series crowned her NBC's honorary correspondent.) Megan made her Milan Fashion Week debut at Roberto Cavalli's Fall 2026 presentation—the Italian label behind her second-ever Grammys gown in 2022. Roberto Cavalli is known for challenging sultry silhouettes with eclectic prints, usually of the animal variety. Megan's entirely sheer, long-sleeve dress married the two house codes, though its exact choice of animal is still up for debate.

Bambi-ish pops of white decorated the dress's black mesh exterior. Every element—including the high neck and underwear-baring skirt—clung to her body like second skin. It was so transparent you could see Megan's stringy black thong underneath, as well as her choice to leave the matching bra at home. Clearly, she was saving her most NSFW selects for outings far beyond the Olympics broadcasts.

Who needs accessories when your body-ody-ody is the main event? The "Body" rapper only chose black shield sunglasses, a patent leather top-handle bag, and ankle-strap stilettos to finish her front-row 'fit. No diamonds were needed: Her deep side-part hair shined just as bright.

Unless her midi made of chainmail at Gaurav Gupta's Spring 2025 Couture show last January counts, we haven't seen Megan in a dress this consistently sheer since the 2023 GQ Men of the Year party. For a quick refresher, she stole the show in an equally-see-through halter gown by Salih Balta. Lighter-than-air brown tulle draped past her plunge bust and waist cutout onto the mermaid-shaped skirt. Black lace trim, plus black and red beadwork, were the gown's only opaque elements.

Back to her latest look. Megan's MFW festivities technically began the night prior, at the opening party of Amiri's Milan flagship store. Before going fully sheer, she tested the naked waters in a halter-neck dress crafted from chocolate fishnet. Strategically-placed floral embroidery acted in lieu of nipple pasties, but a matching G-string peeked through just like its successor.

The monochrome botanical motif returned in spades toward the maxi's ankle-grazing hem. Every once and a while, blink-and-you'll-miss-them rhinestones caught the camera's eye.

Megan Thee Stallion touched down in Milan over a week ago, so she might as well stay put until the final runway show on March 2. With Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Giorgio Armani, and more still on the calendar, she and her stylist, Isiah Ahmad, could turn the rest of MFW into "Megan Takes Milan Part Two."

Marni is meant to be a safe haven for the fashion freaks. The brand is both eclectic and chic—the clothing equivalent of the quirky, artsy girl in high school who smiled at you in the hallway but sat with the popular kids at lunch time.

One minute into Meryll Rogge’s Fall 2026 Marni debut, you could tell the newly appointed creative director gets this highly specific POV. The show, presented during Milan Fashion Week, opened with a shredded ivory top coat layered over a three-hole-punched pewter turtleneck and a jet black slip skirt covered in giant, grapefruit-sized pailettes. The look was weird, wonderful, and so very Marni.

For three decades, the Italian fashion house has brought a maximalist perspective to the industry's mainstage. Under Francesco Risso, who sat at the helm for ten years before Rogge joined, Marni pushed color, print, and texture to new frontiers. Canary yellow can be cool. Fur can be draped like silk if you just believe! Remember Hunter Schafer’s floral collaged and sticker dress? That was Marni by Risso.

Rogge—one of the few women currently designing for a luxury fashion house—wasted no time picking up where Rossi left off. The Belgian designer showed butter yellow nylon dresses with bubble hems; flannel boxer briefs fashioned into micro shorts; and multiple riffs on ribbed knee-high socks that looked standard from the shins down, but then transformed into pointed-toe Western booties at the feet. She also sees your sneakerina trend and raises you Frankenstein boots that are a feat of both fashion and science. This is a designer who understands that aspirational luxury fashion can still have a sense of humor, clearly.

You could say that Rogge has been training her entire career to take the Marni reins. She cut her teeth at Marc Jacobs and headed women’s design at Dries Van Noten, two free-spirited brands known for exaggerated proportions and fabulously unexpected color combinations. Her eclectic namesake label, founded in 2020, also regularly sweeps at fashion awards ceremonies. Just two weeks before her Marni appointment last July, Rogge took home the prestigious ANDAM Prize (and the 300,000 euros it comes with) for her funky cutout trousers and double-stacked cardigans.

Moreover, Rogge is an obvious student of the brand. “I’m just trying to do what’s right for this house more than trying to understand what’s been done elsewhere,” Rogge told Vogue two days ahead of her debut collection. “This house always had an independent character, and that’s how we approached it.” The supersized sequins and hole cutouts featured throughout her introductory collection were homages to Marni’s signature polka dot motifs, done the Rogge way. The same goes for her shaggy faux fur outerwear: Marni was originally a fur-only label and an offshoot of founder Consuelo Castiglioni’s family fur business, after all.

It’s a full-circle moment for a brand founded by a female designer to once again have a woman in charge. (Castiglioni launched Marni in 1994 and remained creative director until 2016, when she then passed the baton to Rossi.) Rogge at the helm returns the fashion house to its roots and—hopefully!—signals the start of a domino effect in the industry's hiring practices.

At the very least, it's a natural appointment. Not only can Rogge provide the maximalist punch that gives Marni its juice, but she also has that keen understanding of what women want to wear, which often only comes from being one yourself. Women designing freaky, fun clothes for women? Now that has a nice ring to it…

Marni Fall 2026

You know you've made it in the fashion industry when you score a front-row seat to watch Bella Hadid make her Prada runway debut, and Sarah Pidgeon was one of today's lucky winners. Before the Fall 2026 fashion show began, the Love Story actor's nostalgic bag proved she's as much a Prada girl as Hadid. All the while, it looked straight out of Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy's closet.

On February 26, the third day of Milan Fashion Week, all eyes went to Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons' Fall 2026 runway. It doubled as an It girl convention, with Hadid on the runway, plus Anna Sawai, Caitlin Clark, and Pidgeon on the guest list. It seems Episode 5 of the Bessette-Kennedy and John F. Kennedy Jr. biopic series—which drops hours later—influenced her minimalist front row 'fit. A sleeveless brown vest-turned-top set Pidgeon's initial '90s tone, followed by a butter yellow fringe midi skirt. But her Bessette-Kennedy-inspired bag was the real star of her look.

Pidgeon accessorized with black, pointed toe pumps from the Spring 2026 collection, plus a sleek coordinating shoulder bag. A monochrome belt decorated its east-west closure, in a wink at last summer's belt bag trend. Still, it wasn't too trendy that it disrupted her streak of outfits inspired by Bessette-Kennedy. In fact, the Calvin Klein sales associate was a proud Prada shopper back in the day, too.

Black Prada bags were to Bessette-Kennedy as Hermès Birkins are to Jennifer Lopez now. (CBK also owned a Hermès Birkin 40, though.) Bessette-Kennedy was practically synonymous with the 1995 Prada Spazzolato: a black, tote-style shoulder bag, crafted from glossy patent leather.

"This Prada bag was her everyday bag for a year," JFK Jr.'s assistant RoseMarie Terenzio told the New York Post in 2012. Its black sheen complemented any neutral in her closet, ranging from khaki midi skirts and chestnut knee-highs, to a gray midi dress and black suede boots. Pidgeon's Prada bag wasn't identical to her on-screen character's, but its sharp edges, shiny exterior, and triangle emblem make it a close cousin.

This is the best part about fashion-forward TV shows: The press tour doesn't stop once the pilot episode starts streaming. Love Story still has four episodes yet to release, meaning Pidgeon's Bessette-Kennedy era is far from over. Perhaps she'll also attend the Miu Miu show on March 10 at Paris Fashion Week. Fun fact: The ribbed dress during Bessette-Kennedy's bike walk with JFK Jr.—the one inches away from her Prada bag—boasted Miu Miu Fall 1996 tags.

Bella Hadid has been a Prada girl since 2017, when Miuccia Prada's circa-Spring 2018 nylon bag joined her closet. Even so, the model didn't make her Prada runway debut until the label's Fall 2026 fashion show on February 26, 2026. The Milan Fashion Week monarch made the wait worth it by dressing Hadid in not one, but four straight-from-the-studio looks.

As soon as Hadid arrived in Italy on Feb. 23, she wasted no time teasing her first Milan Fashion Week walk since 2022: Her oversize, patent leather tote boasted Prada's recognizable triangle atop its belted closure. Three days later, she traded the $3,000 Bonnie Bag for a full Prada runway 'fit, featuring a distressed zip-up jacket-turned-top. (Collars, shoulders, and stitches became more worn-in as the presentation went on.)

Walking by a front row featuring WNBA star Caitlin Clark and Love Story lead Sarah Pidgeon, Hadid stacked its elasticized hem over a two-tiered skirt—a blue and red floral print shone through a black, sheer wrap-style midi. She also started a colorful hosiery trend with burgundy knee-high socks, embroidered with pastel florals atop each foot. The model slipped them into matching velvet kitten heels topped with indigo blue bows.

Last year, Hadid had starring roles in Saint Laurent's Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 shows, but she only walked each runway once. Prada, however, turned the Fall 2026 line into a game of "Where's Bella?" She returned just minutes later in the same botanically-trimmed socks and curtain-like skirt.

The only difference? She unzipped the threadbare jacket to reveal the midi's matching button-down. The bust's black organza was equally transparent, except along the flat collar, button placket, and cuffs. A stark white, high-neck tank top emerged from beneath the black blouse, just like the skirt's base layer. Contrary to her opening look, Hadid dangled a black top-handle bag from her arm. It was a fraction of the size of her pre-show Bonnie tote, but crafted from the same patent leather.

Hadid had her own character arc during Prada's Fall 2026 show, beginning in moody shades and silhouettes and ending up in white. Turns out, she was wearing the sleeveless shift all along: Its loose bodice, drawstring waist, and printed multicolor skirt matched the layers beneath both looks' sheer sets.

Her final strut finally gave the knee-grazing hem's David-esque statue and Grecian-looking florals a proper close-up. The burgundy knee-high socks and kitten heels were her one constant throughout the entire collection. To finish, the Ôrebella founder switched her black top-handle bag for the same style in shamrock green (Spring 2026's trending genre of green).

A white shift would've been an obvious conclusion, but Miuccia adores keeping us on our toes. So Hadid walked the runway once more in a classic Prada pick: a wool tank top, featuring the label's triangle atop the curved neckline. She tucked it into high-rise, drawstring Bermuda shorts. Another longer, white pair added color blocking on each knee-length hem. The socks-and-heels combination stuck around for one final 'fit. Hadid's green handbag traded places with a black east-west purse, though.

Hadid is so back following her two-year runway hiatus. Prada marked her first Milan Fashion Week walk since Jil Sander's Spring 2023 show in Sept. 2022. "After 10 years of modeling, I realized I was putting so much energy and love and effort into something that, in the long run, wasn't necessarily giving it back to me," Hadid told Allure in April 2024. She stepped away from catwalks until Saint Laurent's Spring 2025 show in Sept. 2024.

Gigi Hadid, on the other hand, has six Prada shows under her belt: Bella's older sister made her Prada debut in 2019. It was an emotional moment for both Hadids: Bella commented on Instagram, ""Is anyone else crying?" "Me," replied Gigi. Knowing the sisters, some tears were shed today, too.

Bella even seized an intimate moment with Miuccia Prada backstage: "I'll see you tonight, Miuccia." It seems Hadid's Prada looks could continue off the catwalk.

WNBA star Caitlin Clark has been training for her Prada fashion show debut since the 2024 draft. Nearly two years later, all her tunnel walk styling paid off with a front-row seat and a look that made her the front row's MVP.

When she signed with the Indiana Fever as the No. 1 draft pick, Clark and stylist Adri Zgirdea Toth chose a head-to-toe Prada outfit for the occasion: a white jacket, shimmery silver crop top, white mini skirt, and black pointed-toe heels. At the time, it was a history-making pull. "I don't think Prada has ever fitted an NBA or WNBA player before [for the draft]," Clark told reporters from the orange carpet, "so it's pretty special."

In tunnel walk after tunnel walk throughout her rookie season, Clark kept coming back to Prada's signature triangle logo. At one game, she'd enter the stadium in an understated white tank top and strappy cargo pants; at another, she'd tote one of Prada's black nylon bags with a denim-on-denim Prada set. Those outfits were enough to get her invited to Prada's Fall 2026 fashion show on February 26. And yes, she scored another memorable outfit for the occasion.

Clark arrived at Milan's Fondazione Prada before the Fall 2026 fashion show began in a reliably sporty-chic outfit. Her base was a striped polo: a shirt trend that extends from the shelves of J.Crew and Aritzia to the high-fashion runways championing a recent sportif aesthetic. She chose a cropped version—the better to show off a high-rise pair of trousers cinched with a Prada belt. A small, top handle bag, mirroring the accessories models would carry past her front-row seat, perched in her hand beneath a wool overcoat draped over her shoulders. Pointed-toe Prada heels were her final score from the label.

Back at the draft, the reaction to Clark's Prada outfit was nearly unanimous: "Caitlin Clark is so Prada," Instagram comment after Instagram comment read. Now that she's sat feet away from the bedazzled runway in even more head-to-toe selects, there's not much more fashionable WNBA fans can ask for. After the 2026 Golden Globes, I did what I do after every major awards show: I hopped on the phone with my mom to discuss the best red carpet outfits. She asked me about my favorite look of the evening, and I quickly mentioned Tessa Thompson’s Balenciaga gown—yes, I was mesmerized by the sequins, the slinky silhouette, and the sweeping train, but what really caught my eye was its stunning, unusual shade of green. I would describe it as moss, falling somewhere between chartreuse and olive. It’s the type of earthy hue that would naturally appear across tree bark and soil. On a custom haute couture gown, though, the shade felt less rustic and more refined.

About a month later, during New York Fashion Week, I kept noticing the exact shade of green everywhere. It continued on the Fall 2026 runways. Even as a minimalist who usually adheres to neutrals, I was instantly drawn to the ease of this relaxed formula, which offers a streamlined, playful way to experiment with a color palette.

It was also presented as a surprisingly versatile shade. Who knew that moss green and jet black could work so well together? Apparently, Ashlynn Park, who styled a green bouclé jacket with black trousers for her namesake label’s Fall 2026 show.

This runway look from Calvin Klein has also earned points in my style playbook for how effortlessly it incorporated a deeper moss color into a look through accessories. It’s an easy addition that goes a long way.

The best part of this ascendant color trend? You don’t have to wait until the autumnal collections land in stores to try it. Editor-in-Chief Nikki Ogunnaike is currently eyeing &Daughter's Ada Crewneck Cardigan, while I can’t stop thinking about Everlane's Cashmere Cropped High-V Sweater, which I plan to wear alongside jeans and high-vamp flats come spring.

Whether Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy was styling a trench coat, wool wrap, or the occasional leopard-print jacket, she often wore a classic sweater underneath. Even so, I like to think she would have been open to wearing knitwear as shawls, too. Every CBK-coded minimalist is loyal to the winter-to-spring style hack right now, even Sarah Pidgeon.

Pidgeon portrays Bessette-Kennedy in FX's biopic series, Love Story, which tells the story of her whirlwind romance with John F. Kennedy Jr. While she's very much a fashion muse on her own, Pidgeon left Love Story with an intimate understanding of Bessette-Kennedy's aesthetic, as proven by her Milan Fashion Week debut on February 25. In the run-up to Episode 5, Pidgeon filled the CBK-shaped hole in viewers' hearts with selects straight from her character's '90s wardrobe.

First, she followed Kendall Jenner's lead by layering a black sweater over the shoulders of her leather, button-down Prada jacket. (Jenner did the same on Feb. 25, except with a navy crewneck and a Burberry trench.) Contrary to Jenner, Pidgeon secured only the top button, which let her white long-sleeve peek through. She tucked the stark white top into black straight-leg Prada jeans. Each slim, cylindrical leg mirrored the cigarette jeans trend, of which Bessette-Kennedy was the original blueprint. The only difference? CBK preferred indigo-colored mid-washes.

The similarities continued with Pidgeon's black block-heel boots. Her pair was as pared-back as can be, apart from vertical seams down each leather upper. Bessette-Kennedy's signature oval-shaped sunglasses traded places with cat-eye shades, still in black.

The Fall 2026 season marks Pidgeon's first Milan Fashion Week, but she's been preparing for this moment since Sept. 2024. As proven by her New York Fashion Week appearances, Pidgeon's affinity for '90s minimalism wasn't just a result of playing Bessette-Kennedy, either.

Two years ago, she sat in Ulla Johnson's front row wearing a nostalgic Canadian tuxedo. Judging by her MFW 'fit, Pidgeon plans to pick up where she left off: wearing silhouettes and shades she adopted from her time as Bessette-Kennedy. Her latest look seems like an extension of her Love Story costumes—fitted, modest, and a bit moody. It's almost as if she's still building her character, though filming wrapped months ago.

"What was so exciting in taking on this role was this freedom I had in learning about this person and then creating this character," Pidgeon told Marie Claire as the February cover star. “[I wasn’t] necessarily limited by something so literal, because there wasn’t a ton to go off of.” Who knows if Bessette-Kennedy would've actually worn Pidgeon's set? A girl can certainly dream, though.

Do I know Kendall Jenner's Milan Fashion Week schedule? No, the supermodel keeps that under lock and key. I'm not completely out of the loop, though. I do know which new ballet flats trend will take her from show to show this season. Drum roll, please: It's the high-vamp style Jenner helped boost to It-shoe status earlier this year.

Technically, Milan Fashion Week started bright and early on February 24. In my book, it couldn't fully begin until at least one Jenner set foot in Italy. The oldest sister was photographed outside her five-star hotel, wearing what could be her most relaxed look of the week. It seems Jenner curated her selects based on what would complement her favorite Spring 2026 shoe trend the best.

She stacked a black, long-sleeve crewneck on top of a white T-shirt in '90s fashion. Then, Jenner's Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy-coded minimalism continued with a charcoal gray skirt. Jenner must've known I wanted her tried-and-true flats trend front and center, rather than hidden under travel pants.

To make up for yesterday's Instagram Stories mirror pic—which made her The Row Stella Python Slippers extra tricky to ID—Jenner separated her skirt's hem and shoes by a good three feet. That way, I could appreciate and copy every element of the Jenner-led high-vamp flats trend.

Similar to her beloved The Row Eve Slippers, each curved, black toebox featured "a glove-like construction and an extended upper," to quote Marie Claire's fashion editor Lauren Tappan. The vamps stretched as far down her feet as regular loafers, minus the suspended tongues. After zooming in, I noticed another element set these high-vamp flats apart from their The Row predecessors. A glossy pinstriped (or dare I say, croc-embossed?) sheen appeared to decorate every visible exterior.

You (and I) heard it here, folks: Jenner plans to broaden the high-vamp flats trend far beyond her original black leather pair. The day prior, she debuted a brand-new color and texture with The Row's sold-out snakeskin slippers in beige. Like her Milan Fashion Week calendar, Jenner's next high-vamp flats are impossible to predict. The good news is, her shoe rack is nowhere near full.

The Jenner-led high-vamps trend is no stranger to Milan Fashion Week. Similar styles became a staple on the Spring 2026 street style scene last September. Typical ballet flats cover just the wearer's toes, but as the week went on, vamps stretched further and further toward the ankles.

Jenner hasn't attended (or walked) a runway show in Milan since Bottega Veneta's Spring 2025 show in Sept. 2024. However, it seems she kept tabs on flats-wearing insiders last season, waiting for the moment she could follow suit.

Knowing Jenner, she and her signature Spring 2026 shoe trend have RSVP'd "yes" to a runway show or two this week. Don't be surprised if the flats join her in the front row—or better yet, on an actual Milan Fashion Week runway. In the meantime, my edit of elegant, high-vamp flats below. New York Fashion Week has come and gone, but I won't shut up about the street style outside the Fall 2026 shows for a long time. There were plenty of triangle scarves over coats, unexpected color combinations, and It Bags to fawn over—my eyes, however, were aimed at the ground at all of the cool shoe trends attendees stepped out in.

After poring over hundreds of outfit snaps, I've developed a bad case of the shoppies. The only cure? Fresh footwear that won't break my budget.

The shoe trends that caught my eye at New York Fashion Week are incredibly wearable and fit seamlessly into my minimalist wardrobe. Punchy sneakers, high-vamp flats, and polished loafers are sitting at the top of my wishlist, but I'm also making room for a few statement pairs (hello, animal-print shoes!).

With a budget of $200 and under, my search naturally led me to Nordstrom, Zara, and H&M. These retailers didn't fail me: I found plenty of chic and affordable styles that fit into the biggest shoe trends of NYFW. Ahead, I'm sharing the ones in my cart, so you, too, can refresh your spring shoe rotation.

Colorful Sneakers

Sneakers are nothing new, but with every fashion week, their popularity seems to reach new heights. That was the case this February, when I spotted not one, not two, but many pairs of sneakers in bright colors like neon yellow, cherry red, and forest green. The next time you're tempted to reach for plain white sneakers, take after the street-style set with a pop of color and see what a difference it makes.

High-Vamp Flats

Ever since Marie Claire Fashion Editor Lauren Tappan spotlighted the high-vamp flat trend in a recent story, I can't stop seeing the minimalist shoes everywhere. A practical choice for running between shows, they were especially prevalent on the feet of NYFW attendees. They work with just about anything in your closet, from jeans and T-shirts to skirts and blazers. What's not to love?

Soft Loafers

Plenty of fashion week attendees prioritized comfortable footwear, which made loafers an especially popular flat shoe. The style has moved on from its clunky, lug-sole look to a more streamlined silhouette—think soft and ruched, the kind your grandpa probably wore. Go with classic black for easy styling, or opt for a suede pair for a richer look.

Animal-Print Boots

The fashion zeitgeist has been getting wilder with its prints, and that's never been more prevalent than the Fall 2026 season in New York. Every day, you could spot an attendee in a leopard-print coat or with a zebra-striped handbag; the trend carried over into footwear, especially boots, in street style.

Pointed-Toe Pumps

Some fashion week attendees took a sharp pivot with their footwear, opting for sky-high heels over flats to complete their look. Pointy pumps were perfect companions to the Glamoratti aesthetic, complementing opulent fur coats, sharp tailoring, and luxurious dresses. The next time your outfit feels drab, a pair of ladylike heels may make all the difference.

Even before New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani was voted in, his wife Rama Duwaji—a freelance animator and illustrator—was commanding the world's attention. Importantly, Duwaji's fashion choices have spoken volumes since day one. Her appearance at Diotima's show at fashion week—which also marks her first time attending as New York City's First Lady—is no exception.

For her appearance at Diotima's show, Duwaji—who is styled by Gabriella Karefa-Johnson—layered two trench coats. Firstly, she wore a classic short khaki trench coat as a dress, buttoned right to the top. She wore another trench coat, this time knee-length and plaid, over the top, confirming that the celeb-beloved trend is most definitely back for 2026.

Duwaji accessorized her trench coat duo with black heeled cowboy boots and a black leather bag featuring an oversize buckle clasp and a studded strap. For jewelry, the first lady opted for two pairs of gold hoop earrings—large thin hoops and small thick hoops.

Back in September 2025, Duwaji attended Diotima's very first runway show, after being personally invited by designer and founder Rachel Scott. As Scott told The New York Times, "I was intrigued by her work and personal style, so having her at the show was really exciting." Judging by Duwaji's appearance at the label's second show, it seems as though the admiration is mutual.

To date, Duwaji's intentional fashion choices have garnered much attention. For instance, when Mamdani delivered his victory speech on November 4, 2025, Duwaji wore a laser-cut denim top from Zeid Hijazi, a Palestinian-Jordanian designer based in London.

At her husband's public inauguration on January 1, 2026, the illustrator opted for a brown funnel-neck coat, which she styled as a dress, from Palestinian-Lebanese designer Cynthia Merhej's label Renaissance Renaissance. The same day, New York's first lady also wore a pair of boots from sustainability-focused, London-based shoemaker Miista.

Basically, Duwaji's relationship with the fashion world as the first lady of New York is going to be seriously exciting.

Sarah Pidgeon is currently starring in the FX limited series Love Story, which tracks the relationship between John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. Pidgeon portrays fashion publicist Bessette-Kennedy in the show, and it appears as though her character's timeless style has influenced her own aesthetic.

On February 14, Pidgeon joined her Love Story co-stars Grace Gummer and Naomi Watts at Khaite's New York fashion week show. Sitting front row, Pidgeon opted for an all-black outfit—perfectly in keeping with Bessette-Kennedy's '90s minimalism.

I went into the New York Fashion Week Fall 2026 season looking for one specific thing: zest. I have seen all the greige scarf coats and stealth-wealth outfits I need to see. I want fashion with funk—runway looks that sound ridiculous on paper, but when draped, sandwiched, and styled by someone with a keen eye for color and texture, come together in harmony.

Fortunately for me, Zankov’s Fall 2026 runway was a feast of so-wrong-it’s-right combinations. The no-longer-emerging brand layered striped turtlenecks under short-sleeve sweaters, unbuttoned polo knits, and printed, zig-zaggy jackets. One sweater stack was a three-layer zest fest: an electric-orange striped turtleneck beneath a gray quarter-zip, topped off with a sequined navy tube top.

These oddball layering formulas hit me like dopamine as I watched from my seat on the sidelines. Best of all, I knew I could recreate the magic at home by reducing the runway looks to the simple styling trick that anchored each one: a pop of color, courtesy of a contrasting turtleneck.

The styling tip is as straightforward as it sounds: a thin turtleneck sweater, typically in a punchy color or print, worn under a contrasting top layer. I saw it again at Ashlyn, where the master craftswoman clashed chartreuse turtleneck tops with dark hourglass blazers and white peplum tunics. Rachel Scott used the layering trick in her divine Proenza Schouler Fall 2026 debut, splashing ribbed watermelon-red turtlenecks against black wool outerwear. Graphic, black-and-white cheetah-print sweaters also turtled out from retro car coats at Carolina Herrera.

Tory Burch had the honor of unveiling the sexiest take on the contrasting turtleneck trend. Her runway featured sheer pumpkin-orange and lilac turtles layered under grey herringbone blazers or cropped trenches in high-shine black patent leather.

The American sportswear designer is known for her slightly left-of-center staples and runway stylings; she called the lineup for Tory Burch's Fall 2026 show, a mix that "reflects how women dress now: by instinct, not by rules." Burch takes basic outfit components—a top, a trouser, a loafer—and gives them enough quirk to feel complex without pushing them out of the realm of wearability. Her lightweight, see-through turtlenecks, paired with outerwear you likely already have in your closet, were no exception.

These were all less outrageous than Zankov’s more-is-more-is-more turtleneck combos, but I found them refreshing all the same. I’m more confident I can pull off red clashed against black, or a semi-sheer sweater worn under a business-y blazer—versus a printed turtleneck stack that clashes six colors together. (Six! That’s not a rookie move.)

This is the genre of NYFW styling tip that keeps me up at night, because I’m too eager to wake up and try it myself the next day. But even I have to remember: It's about the principle more than the look itself. Here, it's simply a contrasting turtleneck—whether that’s in color, print, or transparency—worn under a top layer with a different vibe.

A turtleneck pop is an especially clever trick to try now if your bundled-up winter outfits have started to feel stale. We need all the layers we can get with a sub-zero wind chill and more frigid days on the forecast. Why not make it a zippy turtleneck that gives you an energy boost?

New York Fashion Week has a way of clarifying priorities. Sure, I’ll happily wear something impractical for exactly one show if the look warrants it, but over the course of a February week spent power-walking between neighborhoods, ducking into overheated lobbies, and waiting for an Uber that’s allegedly three minutes away in sub-freezing temperatures, fantasy dressing quickly gives way to reality.

The reality is this: What gets worn on repeat during a NYFW season is rarely the most obvious choice. It’s the brands that merge form and function—the ones that understand insulation, traction, and layering as well as proportion. These are the pieces that make 20,000 steps a day feel survivable, don’t require a midweek foot-care crisis, and still photograph well enough to catch a street-style photographer’s eye.

Between the base layers doing the heavy lifting, the warm accessories that imbue a hint of color into my winter outfit, and the tour-de-force coats that top off each look, these are the under-the-radar brands I rely on—not because they scream fashion week, but because they make it possible to survive it.

Warm Accessory Brands

By the end of fashion week, I’ve usually lost half my gloves and at least one hat—it’s inevitable. That’s why I invest in accessories that are warm, abundant, and easy to replace, but still feel special. While I dress mostly in neutrals, I love accessories in bold colors that pop against February’s gray cityscape. J.Crew excels at classic scarves and gloves that feel timeless but cheerful. The Frankie Shop offers oversized knits and scarves that make doubling up feel intentional, not excessive. And Sézane brings just enough color and texture to make losing a scarf almost feel like a calculated risk.

Base Layer Brands

Base layers are the unsung heroes of fashion week—the pieces no one sees, but on which everything depends. Underneath every coat is some variation of a thermal-lined top that’s doing far more work than the outfit itself. Of course, every editor will sing Uniqlo’s praises for its Heattech basics, but it’s also brands like Arc'teryx, LeBlanc Studios, and even Uniform Person that come in clutch when I need something performance-driven that still looks intentional under tailoring.

Carry-All Tote Brands

Gone are the days of writing a full review for every show, but as a freelancer, I’m still hauling my laptop, notebooks, snacks, and printed show notes I refuse to part with. A laptop bag needs to be structured, comfortable, and able to withstand being shoved under benches and café tables all week. Comfortable Shoe Brands

I’m typically running from show to appointment to office and back again, often on slick sidewalks that don’t agree with any kind of heel. February Fashion Week belongs to outerwear. A great coat doesn’t just complete the look—it is the look. Apparis nails plush, cold-weather coats that are warm enough to matter but still streamlined. After thriving through a whopping 17 seasons of New York Fashion Week, I feel comfortable calling myself something of a veteran. Over the years, I’ve suffered a handful of trials and tribulations when it came to my outfits. And while I could definitely wax poetic on some of my big missteps and worst looks, I’d rather focus on the positive—namely, the non-negotiables that have become my NYFW wardrobe essentials.

Some are obvious. I don’t even consider a pair of shoes unless they’re walkable, for instance. Similarly, I need handbags that actually fit the things I need to get me through the day—I’m talking portable chargers, tripods, makeup. (You’d be surprised how much I can Mary Poppins into the It Bag of the moment.) Others are more so for aesthetic purposes, like sunglasses that make me look cool when posing for photos or statement jewelry that helps my looks feel more styled-out. During the February shows, a good coat is non-negotiable; to quote a character from former Vogue.com editor Caroline Palmer’s novel, Workhorse, “This is New York City, baby. Your coat is your car!”

Sometimes, they sprint to get your photo; other times, there’s someone else arriving that absolutely steals the show. Either way, you need to walk confidently into the venue. For me, a pair of chic sunglasses to hide behind makes this a dozen times easier. And in the event that I am stopped for photos, they double as a posing aid.

Pre-NYFW, I always hit up Sunglass Hut to try on some new statement sunnies IRL. (Have you seen these embellished Swarovskis???) If I’m going for something understated, I’ll reach for my black Kennys from Otra. This season, I can already predict more than a few It Girls will show up in 12pm Studios, a newer brand coming from fashion influencer and street-style darling Jeneé Naylor. (Given the setting, perhaps the NYC sunnies will reign supreme?)

Cute Shoes I Can Walk In

Unless I’m pre-scheduling a car to take me to and from a particular party (major fashion girl hack, BTW), I need my footwear to be comfortable. During New York Fashion Week, I’ll have upwards of five events per day; I don’t exactly have time to come home and massage my feet in between.

Luckily, brands like Bared Footwear crank out podiatrist-designed shoes that still look stylish, like my go-to booties and these pointy-toed loafers I plan to wear a ton this season. When it comes to heels, I opt for shorter kitten or even block styles opposed to stilettos. And of course, there are always flats: I just nabbed these dreamy cheetah Revas from Tory Burch, and noticed Aerosoles has finally relaunched the chain-detain ballet flats I stash in my tote for impulse-swapping.

Hair Accessories That Turn Heads

For me, personally, hair has become a major element of my NYFW wardrobe. I love to get creative and stalk the internet for unique hair accessories, and then bring them to Steph Angelone, my stylist at NYC salon RPZL, and beg her to make them work. (I’ve even collaborated with RPZL on a few pieces.)

I highly recommend going the cool hair route if you find your actual attire feels a bit simple. Some of my favorite looks have revolved around a great hair cuff or funky scrunchie. A newer piece for me are these bubble hair brooches I created with RPZL, which I wear in clusters for maximum impact. If that feels too bold, start with something metallic but minimal, like a gorgeous gold french pin.

Coats to Function As the Outfit

During the February shows in particular, you can totally get away with a “the coat is the outfit” approach to getting dressed. I make sure my outerwear game is always top-notch. In addition to beautiful sleek wool and leather staples, I try to go for bright colors—peep this powder pink number from Khy—and interesting textures, from faux fur to embellished accents.

While I plan to explore a few cropped bombers this season, I rely primarily on longer silhouettes to keep me covered and chic during fashion’s chilliest week. If you don’t want to splurge on a new coat, add a bold belt or some funky brooches to your everyday fave to give it some freshness.

Statement Jewelry to Jazz Up Basics

Perhaps my biggest sin as a Fashion Girl is that I’m always forgetting to put on jewelry. Other than my engagement ring and wedding band, I often have to leave out a Post-It reminder if I want to wear jewelry with a specific outfit before I leave the house. The only exception to this is fashion week, as I lay out everything in advance and have the accessories placed at the ready.

Especially in photos, the glint of a good earring or flash of a sparkly necklace really completes a look.

Over the past few seasons, Jenny Bird has been my unfailing go-to for gorgeous, elevated pieces, and its new Woven Square two-tone earrings are definitely top of the roster for this week. Another accessory I’ve been leaning on as of late are chunky bangles (I have these from Tuckernuck), especially worn over shirt sleeves in stacks of two or three.

Versatile Midi Skirts As A Base

I’m a midi skirt girl through and through. While I’m locked in on length, I’m flexible when it comes to silhouette. I love a princess-y A-line, or a silky bias cut. A pencil midi feels no-nonsense in a super elevated way, while something flowy and drapey can be as dressy as a full-on gown. (This two-tone green taffeta skirt from Tuckernuck, for example, was a perfect day-to-night piece for me.) Currently, I’ve got this plaid asymmetric skirt from Zara in my cart for daytime, and this sequin midi from Mango on standby for night.

Big Bags To Hold My Entire Life

When I have an assistant with me, you best believe I make the most of carrying around an itty-bitty, fits-absolutely-nothing bag. But most of the time, I’m hopping from runway show to presentation to lunch to private preview all on my own, and I need a bag to fit my laptop, my touch-up kit, a tripod, and who knows what else.

Luckily, big bags are really in right now (as I warned you!), so a massive tote is more of a welcome statement piece than a hindrance. My personal favorite is The Re-Imagined Boat and Tote created by Tibi in collaboration with L.L. Bean; I schlepped it last season, and the photographers loved it. I also loved this massive oversized clutch by Brandon Maxwell that I wore to his tenth anniversary show in September—a runway one-off that I snagged at a sample sale.

A “Pop Piece” For Every Outfit

When I’m mapping out my fashion week wardrobe, I do my best to ensure every look has what I call a Pop Piece: an item that pops and elevates the look from everyday to extraordinary. Sometimes, it’s a bold handbag. Other times, it’s an unexpected shoe. No matter what, it always ends up being the most complimented element of whatever I’m wearing that day.

Color, texture, shape, and potential for kitschiness go into my decision-making process. I often use fashion rental services like Nuuly, Rent the Runway, and Vivrelle to secure these items, since I may not want to invest heavily in things that I won’t be wearing over and over again. Whether you’re into feathers, fur, sparkles, or brights, this really is a Dealer’s Choice type of item. There’s no wrong way to Pop.

New York Fashion Week is underway in the Big Apple as designers present their Fall/Winter '26 collections to editors, buyers, creators, and anyone lucky enough to snag a ticket to one of the various crowded venues around the city. But as someone who has attended her fair share of runway shows over the years, I know that the real style buffet is outside on the street. As photographers clamor to snap the season's new It bags, swoon-worthy outerwear, and sleek yet cozy knitwear (plus any chic shoe that can traverse the ice piles that still crowd the NYC sidewalks) I'm scouring the attendees for the best street style beauty looks.

So far this season appears to be all about a fringe. Whether blunt, wispy, micro, or curly, bangs are having a serious moment amongst the stylish set, with appearances on every hair type, texture, length, and color. And while short haircuts remain a fashion girl staple—from cunty little bobs to teeny weeny afros—long hair is most definitely making a comeback. Messy waves with rib-skimming length are giving the street style scene a decidedly '70s flavor, and ultra glossy locks are looking even more radiant under the chilly February sun.

As for the glam, this season is focusing on the lips in either a brilliant pop of ruby red or demure nude shade, paired with a glowy-but-not-too-glowy complexion that can withstand the wind and freezing temperatures. I suspect that many a show attendee remembered to leave the house only after applying a thick layer of barrier-protecting moisturizer and SPF (or maybe that's just my wishful beauty editor thinking). Either way, it's a very elegant, refined, and stylish approach to makeup this season, not quite bare-faced but not a full-on beat either. It's the perfect middle ground for the working woman on the go, whether that's running to the office or your next fashion show.

Fashion and beauty are all about nostalgia, particularly when the world outside feels so fraught and unpredictable. But for Marc Jacobs and his F/W '26 show, looking to the past for inspiration was less about hopeless sentimentality and more about recognizing where we were and honoring how far we've come. The designer labeled the collection "Memory. Loss." and noted that it is "free from nostalgia" in the show notes, adding that "Recovering the past also reminds us that loss is inevitable and that hope is work." The clothes themselves were reminiscent of his prior work for Perry Ellis, with plenty of '90s and early '00s references, but what caught my eye were the Y2K-meets-80s-style XXL scrunchies holding low ponytails in place. I was born in 1989—I'm biologically pre-determined to spot a scrunchie.

With hues of Barbie pink, baby blue, sea foam green, lilac, ruby red, daffodil yellow and midnight black (in both tufted, pleated gossamer and silky variations) the joyful color palette mirrored the collection's equally vibrant bags and shoes. And the hair accessorizing didn't stop there—trays of acrylic-beaded hair ties, and plastic star and heart charms laid on trays backstage, waiting to be placed by hair lead Holli Smith and team.

In comparison to the hair accessories that have dominated both street style and FYP pages around the world, 2025 was all about an elegant, understated vibe. Think French hair pins, French combs, and floating hair jewels for the faintest hint of shimmer, nothing too loud or in your face. The excess and exuberance of the '80s has been in short supply, as least when it comes to styling your hair. That might be coming to an end in 2026.

Although Jacobs is prompting us to reflect on the past rather than blindly look to prior eras for inspiration, I do enjoy one part of this tentative scrunchie revival that might not be as apparent when it's walking down the runway on someone as painfully cool as Alex Consani: the ease. Yes, last year's sleek and chic accessories were fairly easy to use (after watching a TikTok tutorial or two perhaps), but I've yet to encounter a person who doesn't know how to tie up her or his long hair into a bun or ponytail, messy or otherwise. It's as embedded in modern relaxation culture as taking off your bra at the end of a long work day; the moment you finally get to breathe deep and chill out. Except now, it's just as stylish to wear the style outside with your fiercest tall boots and midi skirt.

Perhaps this is just another reminder that low-effort hair doesn't have to equate to low on style. Tying your artfully ruffled locks into a devil-may-care ponytail in the morning is more than acceptable in these trying times. Even better when you have a pastel, oversized scrunchie to secure it in place. If we can expect more hair accessories that make fast and easy styling look just as purposeful and chic as spending an hour on a bouncy blowout, I'm 100 percent here for it—and I'm not the only one.

"I never stopped being a scrunchie girl," she tells me the morning after attending the Marc Jacobs show in New York. "I pick up new ones from Pico on my twice-annual trips to Copenhagen Fashion Week, and I'm almost always tying one on top of a low bun for work. The Marc Jacobs runway inspired me to wear a pleated plissé scrunchie like his models: in a loose, low ponytail over a neutral sweater."

From now until March 11, never-before-seen shows, front row formations, and street style looks will emerge with every refresh of an Instagram feed. So much so, you're at risk of every chronically-online runway fan's worst nightmare: missing a notable moment or two. Never fear: Marie Claire curated the highlights worth adding to your calendar now.

Here's an overview: New York Fashion Week ran from Feb. 11 to 16, showcasing standout stateside labels like Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, Coach, and Proenza Schouler. Then, the focus shifted to London Fashion Week from Feb. 19 to 23, where Erdem, Chopova Lowena, and Simone Rocha took center stage. Milan Fashion Week is up next—running from Feb. 24 to March 2—with runway debuts from Maria Grazia Chiuri at Fendi and Demna at Gucci. By March 10, Paris Fashion Week stars like Chanel, Dior, and Hermès will have closed the curtain on another memorable Fashion Month.

The "big four" fashion weeks are notorious for flying by. Before you know it, Zendaya or Jennifer Lawrence will be walking a red carpet in a new Fall 2026 design. So to prepare for the next slate of trend-setting collections, here's everything you need to know about each city to make the most of Fashion Month, even if you can't tune in from the front row.

What to Expect at New York Fashion Week

There's no such thing as a slow start to Fashion Month. Marie Claire's fashion editor, Lauren Tappan, said the energy at New York Fashion Week is "unmatched." The street style is as much a spectacle as the actual runways, where "both emerging labels and established brands deliver thought-provoking collections."

Marc Jacobs and Ralph Lauren presented runway shows before the calendar officially opened, on Feb. 9 and 10, respectively. The former took over the Park Avenue Armory—a location he's returned to frequently over the years—with slimmed-down, '90s-inspired looks at half the widths of previous collections' cartoonish proportions. The latter flooded the Jack Shainman Gallery in Lower Manhattan with equestrian tailoring, knitwear, and not a single quarter-zip.

Rachel Scott's debut at Proenza Schouler officially opened NYFW on Feb. 11. 42 looks spanning shift dresses, monochrome suits, and patterned outerwear introduced "this incredible New York woman who's intellectual, who's tied to the arts," Scott told Marie Claire after the show.

She was also one of the first creative directors to take her final Fall 2026 bow with an "ICE OUT" pin atop her blouse. "If I have any form of audience, I absolutely need to say something," Scott added, standing in solidarity with people affected by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) violence. Later in the week, Collina Strada creative director Hillary Taymour, Zankov founder Henry Zankov, and Maria McManus followed Scott's lead.

Later that day, Michael Kors's show hosted one of NYFW's most star-studded front rows with Uma Thurman, Dakota Fanning, Rachel Zegler, Alex Consani, and more on the guest list. The celebrity sightings continued at Calvin Klein, where guests ranged from Dakota Johnson to Lily Collins. Marie Claire editors still aren't over Johnson and Jodie Turner-Smith's adorable reunion steps away from the catwalk.

Additional calendar standouts from Ulla Johnson and Coach to Sandy Liang and Tory Burch proved "there's no single aesthetic or theme that defines NYFW," Tappan added. (Models hopped down Sandy Liang's Post Malone-lined runway in two-inch bunny slippers, which senior fashion news editor Halie LeSavage called "a slumber party remix of the slipper shoe trend.") "It's endearing and beautifully eclectic, and that's what makes it so special." Catch every available livestream here.

What to Expect at London Fashion Week

Fashion features editor Emma Childs says London Fashion Week is where "out-of-the-box weirdos thrive—myself included." The Fall 2026 calendar was no different with IYKYK fashion houses like Conner Ives, Harris Reed, and 16Arlington leading the charge.

Even so, "the London collections are less about wearability and more about fantasy—art for art’s sake," Childs adds. "No one represents the city’s eclectic style better than Simone Rocha," whose Feb. 22 livestream introduced her upcoming collaboration with Adidas. Hot on the heels of last September's ballerina crocs, Rocha outdid herself with Adidas Tokyo-adjacent sneakers, featuring rows of crystals atop each toebox. The trainers—plus track jackets, hot pants, and triple-striped sweats—are set to launch next fall, all of which "feel very authentically my handwriting," according to her British Vogue interview.

Few cities do punk fashion better than LFW, but that's not to say it's glamour-less. On the contrary: "Last season, Erdem and Richard Quinn—two celebrity red carpet favorites—showed ornately beaded outerwear and evening gowns that took my breath away from the front row," Childs says. Richard Quinn's Spring 2026 motifs—including white rosettes, pearl-encrusted bodices, velvet trains, and bows aplenty—returned on various Fall 2026 ballgowns.

Burberry closed the calendar, in a slot it holds every season. With Olivia Dean, Jodie Turner-Smith, Kate and Lila Moss, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Alexa Chung, Iris Law, and more on the guest list, Burberry earned an honorary trophy for "most celebrity-packed front row."

What to Expect at Milan Fashion Week

Two days after the Winter Olympics concluded, the city shifted gears to Milan Fashion Week. In addition to pillars like Prada, Max Mara, Dolce & Gabbana, and Moschino, Dior alum Maria Grazia Chiuri presented her first Fendi line on Feb. 25. It was every bit a major return: She worked as the label's accessories designer from 1989 to 1999. Senior fashion news editor Halie LeSavage "saw Grazia Chiuri keep her promise to revisit Fendi staples, from the bag silhouettes to the geometric, interlocking 'F' logo, with fresh eyes." What's more, "I also noticed signs of a new, streamlined direction—one that feels a touch more mature than the free-wheeling, sequin-filled bags from last season."

The next day, Marni will welcome Belgian creative Meryll Rogge as creative director, before Demna's initial Gucci show on Feb. 27. (His first collection, Spring 2026, traded the traditional runway format for a look book and short film The Tiger.) Later in the week, after a sophomore show from Bottega Veneta's Louise Trotter, Giorgio Armani's niece, Silvana Armani, will offer up her first Emporio Armani show. Judging by Armani Privé's Paris Couture Week front row (where Silvana also designs), the stars will turn out to support her again.

What to Expect at Paris Fashion Week

The longest "week" of Fashion Month also happens to be the most reliably noteworthy, interim style director Ana Colón says. When the final round of Paris Fashion Week shows premiere, "guests and spectators alike can wrap up their observations from the full season, finalize their trend prognostications, and have a more informed sense of what the next six months hold for fashion," Colón explains.

According to Vogue, 68 shows and 31 presentations will premiere every day, beginning on March 2 until March 10. "The most powerful luxury conglomerates, like LVMH and Kering, are based in the French capital, as are many of their brands; so you can always expect a strong showing from them," Colón adds.

LVMH owns Dior, Celine, Givenchy, and Loewe, while Saint Laurent and Balenciaga belong to Kering. Contrary to the Spring 2026 circuit, which hosted creative director debuts at Dior, Chanel, Balenciaga, Loewe, Jean Paul Gaultier, and more, only one new designer will join the Fall 2026 ranks: Antonin Tron at Balmain on March 4.

On the other end of the spectrum, Pieter Mulier will also take his final bow at Alaïa that day, before succeeding Dario Vitale at Versace come July 1. Off-White's March 5 show will double as a homecoming of sorts, following two years in the NYC scene. Meanwhile, Alessandro Michele's Valentino will transport his Fall 2026 show to Rome as an "homage to the origins and enduring heritage of Maison Valentino," the brand shared in a press release. Talk about a grand finale.

Marie Claire editors are Heated Rivalry's target audience: hockey romance readers, avid HBO bingers, and always on the lookout for fashion guys. So, when Connor Storrie, François Arnaud, and Robbie Graham-Kuntz all attended Saint Laurent's Fall 2026 Menswear show, it became our Super Bowl.

After covering Haute Couture Week's buzziest front rows, we shifted our focus to another part of Paris, where Saint Laurent hosted our favorite (fictional) hockey players. Connor Storrie picked up where Hudson Williams left off at last week's Armani show, wearing an oversize, '70s-inspired suit set with Saint Laurent Spring 2026 tags.

Stylist James Yardley stacked a mustard yellow button-down beneath a shoulder-padded khaki blazer, which complemented his high-rise trousers. (It's giving Patrick Swayze-level suave, right?) To match the effortless, cool-guy charm of his rolled-up sleeves, Storrie accessorized with aviator sunglasses and a metallic bronze tie. Half of it remained inside the button-down; a signature motif in creative director's Anthony Vaccarello's Spring 2026 show. (Tucked-in ties returned this time around, too.)

François Arnaud traded Scott Hunter's New York Admirals jersey for head-to-toe Saint Laurent Fall 2025 selects, beginning with a pinstripe button-down. Then, stylist Luca Kingston followed the model's lead by stacking a striped black-and-gray tie on top.

His black trousers took a trendy turn alongside a leather trench coat. Arnaud is the latest male celebrity to channel Rihanna's affinity for straight-out-of-the-Matrix outerwear, behind Bad Bunny and A$AP Rocky. However, the Heated Rivalry effect proves he won't be the last.

Hudson Williams was noticeably absent from Saint Laurent's guest list, but Robbie Graham-Kuntz, a.k.a. Kip, held down the hunky, fashion guy fort. GK's Fall 2025 look debuted steps after Arnaud's on the catwalk, though he took creative liberties with his menswear.

Instead of over-the-knee boots—the collection's divisive hero piece—he paired his leather pants, white button-down, and black suit tie with loafers. Perhaps he's saving the $4,500 boots worn by Jonathan Bailey, Pedro Pascal, and Alexander Skarsgård for the after party. (They'd sure mark quite the shift from hockey skates.)

Heated Rivalry Season 1 didn't just gift audiences a whole hockey team of celebrity crushes. The fashion industry has an entirely new class of muses to dress, invite to shows, and cast in campaigns. So far, Giorgio Armani, Dsquared2, Donatella Versace, and Saint Laurent have boarded the Heated Rivalry bandwagon. But with Fashion Month on the horizon, the front-row invitations will just keep coming.

Once Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie made their awards season debuts dressed in Giorgio Armani and Saint Laurent, respectively, the question became: When will the Heated Rivalry boys make their fashion week debuts?

(They even managed to squeeze in an appearance as Olympic torch bearers in between. It's very, to quote Lady Gaga, "No sleep, bus, club, another club, another club, plane, next place.") And the brands can't seem to get enough.

They've been on the runway, in the front row, and, presumably, in meetings with stakeholders about more ways they can show up in the industry. (Just wait until the spring campaigns start rolling out in a few weeks—we wouldn't be surprised if Williams and Storrie pop up there, too.) It's not just our protagonists, either: François Arnaud and Robbie GK also hopped on a plane to Paris for the menswear shows.

It can be hard enough to secure one of the most talked-about actors in the zeitgeist to just attend your show. To have them model? Truly an impressive get.

Though surprising, it was apropos: Dean and Dan Caten, the twin designers behind the label, are fellow Canadians, and the Fall 2026 collection is winter sport-themed.

Hudson Williams Attends Giorgio Armani Fall 2026

Ah, but Williams wasn't done with Milan Fashion Week just yet. A few days later, he was spotted at the menswear shows once again—this time, though, as a guest.

After Giorgio Armani dressed him for his first-ever Golden Globes, the brand extended an invitation to its always-star-studded runway on January 19. He arrived looking the part of a leading man in a grey suit and tie, plus a black coat slung casually over his shoulders. (If you were on social media that day, you likely came across beautifully edited slow-motion videos of him making his way into the venue.) Stylist Anastasia Walker knows what she's doing.

In a better-than-fan-fiction front row arrangement, Williams was seated between Ricky Martin and Tom Blyth. Jack O'Connell wasn't too far off.

Hudson Williams Visits Donatella Versace

Donatella Versace proved she was One of Us earlier this month when she posted on Instagram about her love of Heated Rivalry and wanting to go to the cottage.

Where she differs from the average fan, however, is that she is, of course, Donatella Versace. She can get in touch with pretty much anyone, presumably. Well, she used her power wisely, extending an invitation to Williams to visit Versace HQ (or the "Versace cottage," as she put it) while he was in town. He even got a branded robe with his name embroidered across the back, according to her recap of the meeting on Instagram.

Connor Storrie, François Arnaud, and Robbie GK Attend Saint Laurent Fall 2026

Saint Laurent did its big one at its Paris Fashion Week menswear show on January 27. It got not just Connor Storrie (who wore the brand to the 2026 Golden Globes) for his FROW debut, but also François Arnaud and Robbie GK, a.k.a. Scott and Kip, on the guest list.

Storrie and stylist James Yardley followed up their Golden Globes collaboration with a relaxed khaki suit and mustard-toned velvet shirt. It looked just as effortless as his French sounded while greeting fans outside the venue.

GK went with a white button-down, black tie, and leather moto pants.

Arnaud continued the leather story in a slick overcoat, worn over a striped button-down and tie, plus black trousers.

Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week F/W '26 is officially underway, and while the street style for the week is already leaving me breathless (including, but not limited to, a mixture of beehive updos, sleek chignons, and colorful eye makeup) most of the magic is obviously happening on the runway—specifically at the Jacquemus show. On Jan. 25, Jacquemus returned to the runway to present its Fall/Winter '26 collection at the Picasso Museum in Paris, and everything from the sculptural designs to the prints to the glam was a callback to the '80s. There were sequins, there were polka dots (you should know by now how the MC team feels about those), and there was the beloved side ponytail that I personally will defend until the day I die.

During the show, each model hit the runway in minimal makeup since the hair and garments did most of the talking. For the most part, the hair was pretty uniform in that almost everyone was pictured wearing big, fluffy side ponytails that complemented the retro theme and were backcombed to give them a teased finish.

This season, I returned to the city with the same flutter of excitement I felt the very first time I visited, ready to embrace the beautiful chaos that only fashion week can deliver.

There’s nothing quite like it—the adrenaline of dashing from one show to another. One moment you’re sipping espresso at a presentation, the next you’re weaving through a crowd of editors, stylists, and designers you’ve admired for years, exchanging quick hugs, compliments, and knowing smiles. For weeks, I planned out my wardrobe, wanting to make it feel entirely me while also moving effortlessly from event to event (and, of course, being packable). I borrowed pieces from MyTheresa, looking specifically for items that were sculptural, elegant, and just a touch unexpected. I also wanted to tap into some of the Spring 2026 trends that were already emerging as I prepared to see the new collections and attend the KNWLS, Moschino, The Attico, and Dolce & Gabbana shows.

I wore a Moschino suit in deep chocolate brown, layered over a floral blouse with a matching tie and bag. It felt both polished and playful—a look that made me feel grounded yet daring as I moved from show to show.

The Attico’s “office siren” energy—all sharp tailoring and sensual confidence—pushed me towards this polished grey knit tucked into a glossy snakeskin pencil skirt by Stella McCartney, finished with patent heels and oversized earrings. It was sleek, assertive, and quietly powerful: a modern uniform for the woman who commands every room she walks into.

I also packed a Victoria Beckham camel-toned suit with a sculptural collar, which connected to this looser interpretation of tailoring.

Floral embellishments

The floral embellishments across Spring 2026 collections really captured my imagination. At Fendi, bold three-dimensional blooms redefined femininity—sculptural, dramatic, and full of power. I felt so inspired, I styled a look around a yellow pencil skirt from Shushu/Tong adorned with delicate floral appliqués, paired with a black leather jacket and classic heels. It struck that balance between toughness and romance, echoing the duality that Milan does so well.

Statement shoulders

Statement shoulders also ruled the season. At Max Mara, sculpted proportions and precise tailoring gave familiar shapes new strength, which compelled me to wear my Alaïa knitted set. With its architectural, cloud-like sleeves—soft yet commanding, structured yet fluid—it perfectly embodied the season’s mood: power reimagined through artistry.

Unexpected denim

Unexpected denim was a through line on the Milan Fashion Week runways, too. Both Sportmax and Ferrari showcased modern takes on denim dressing that were fluid yet unmistakably luxurious. Those collections led me to two of my favorite looks of the week: an Alaïa ensemble of wide-leg denim trousers paired with the brand’s signature halo-knit hood, and a minimalist Jacquemus denim dress that moved like liquid architecture. These pieces proved that denim, when cut with precision and intention, can be just as sophisticated as silk or cashmere.

I carried the floral motif from earlier with my Giuseppe Zanotti heels here, which are black satin with sparkling crystal flowers—a subtle yet striking nod to the craftsmanship that continues to define Italian design.
