Amazon Prime Day is here once again, and as a royal editor, one of my favorite things to do is comb the sale for royally-approved fashion finds. This year, Prime Day—which runs from June 23 to 26—includes plenty of regal style deals, including the Superga sneakers that the Princess of Wales has worn on repeat for the past decade.

Royals have been wearing the brand's 2750 Cotu classic canvas sneakers since Princess Diana first sported them in the late ‘90s, and Princess Kate has kept the tradition going, wearing hers at least a dozen times since 2016. The good news for Amazon shoppers is the black shade of Kate’s beloved $75 shoes is now marked down to just $23 for Prime Day.

The Princess of Wales owns the laid-back shoes in both olive green and white, and has worn them everywhere from the Chelsea Flower Show to a regatta. And Princess Anne’s new daughter-in-law, Harriet Sperling, has also joined the Superga fan club, wearing a white pair to the Burghley Horse Trials alongside now-husband Peter Phillips.

Although they're not an official Prime Day deal, Kate and Harriet's white Superga sneakers are currently a steal at $35, so now's the time to grab a fresh pair before they're back to their pre-Prime prices.

Harriet Sperling made her Royal Ascot debut as an official member of the Royal Family earlier this week in an icy blue dress from a Princess Kate-approved brand. Returning to Royal Ascot for Day 5, Sperling embodied her status as the latest royal bride in a bridal lace dress.

Sperling arrived at Royal Ascot Day 5 alongside her new husband, Princess Anne's son Peter Phillips, on Saturday, June 20. The NHS nurse opted for Beulah London's Ahana Cream Lace Dress, which is currently available for preorder for $1,570. Of course, Beulah is one of Princess Kate's go-to labels, proving that Sperling has definitely taken notice of the "Kate effect" herself.

The majority of Sperling's Royal Ascot accessories were also from royally-approved brands. The new Royal Family member carried Stow London's Mini East West Curve Bag in Hazy Blush Suede Leather, which retails for $575, along with a Jane Taylor London "Enid" Straw Boater Hat in Ivory, featuring a delicate veil, via @royalfashionpolice. Princess Kate regularly wears hats from Jane Taylor, and Sperling seems to have also embraced the brand.

For footwear, Sperling made an exceedingly regal choice with a special pair of Manolo Blahnik x Emilia Wickstead pumps. The Hangisi Pump in Gold Double Warp Floral have been embellished with crystals and feature a metallic jacquard pattern. Notably, Emilia Wickstead designed Sperling's dreamy lace wedding gown.

Despite only having been married for a few short weeks, Sperling and Phillips looked every inch the royal couple for their second Royal Ascot appearance as newlyweds.

While this certainly isn’t her first time attending Royal Ascot, it also isn’t her first ride in the royal carriage procession. Before they were even formally engaged, Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling rode in the royal carriage process at Royal Ascot in 2025—hinting that the relationship was very, very serious. Now, the newlywed couple sit in pride of place alongside the Princess Royal for the classic day of British horseracing, pomp, ceremony, and fashion.

Harriet Sperling looked every inch a royal princess in a soft blue dress, matching hat, silk clutch, and white shoes with an eye-catching pair of diamond earrings and tennis bracelets. The dress comes from royally-approved designer Suzannah London, who is favored by Princess Kate and Duchess Sophie. Suzannah London’s Biarritz dress is a custom made-to-order design that is “derived from a late 1940’s vintage tea dress,” according to the brand.

A bespoke Anya Hindmarch pearl clutch, coordinating hat from Jane Taylor, and a wispy updo hairstyle tie the ensemble together. Diamond earrings from Pragnell—the same jeweller behind her wedding tiara—added a touch of sparkle.

The Royal Family arrives via carriage procession around 2 p.m. and depart around 6:30 p.m., allowing plenty of time to chat, mingle, place bets, and enjoy the races. Harriet and her sister-in-law, Zara Tindall, were seen smiling and giggling together shortly after Harriet’s arrival. Zara and her husband, Mike Tindall, arrived earlier in the day. Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling were truly in the newlywed bubble as they sipped champagne in the Royal Enclosure alongside other guests, including King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Harriet Sperling became the newest member of the Royal Family when she married Peter Phillips on June 6, and the NHS nurse has become a fast favorite among royal watchers. Harriet’s new mother-in-law, Princess Anne, has long been one of the hardest working royals, and with a pediatric nurse joining the family, she might just give the Princess Royal a run for her money.

Unlike his mother, Phillips doesn't hold a royal title—a decision that Queen Elizabeth was said to disagree with when Princess Anne insisted that her children would not be princes or princesses. Although Harriet will never take on full-time royal duties, her experience as a pediatric nurse follows in the footsteps of the Princess Royal.

“Harriet’s mother-in-law, Princess Anne, is known as the hardest-working royal, although now there is an intensive-care children’s nurse in the family, Anne might find she has competition for that title,” Dunlop said.

Queen Elizabeth's great-granddaughters Isla and Savannah Phillips have a new stepmom, and the historian pointed to the “warm friendship” between the three teenagers as “further evidence of a new contemporary model for ­Britain’s most famous family.”

Princess Kate might love a good trouser suit, but she went for vintage-inspired glamour at Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling’s wedding on June 6. The Princess of Wales embraced one of her favorite shades, beige, while attending the ceremony alongside Prince William and other members of the Royal Family—a choice that former royal butler Grant Harrold calls a strategic decision.

The princess wore a belted Roland Mouret dress with a full, pleated skirt and a fringe-trimmed collar. It fits into the vintage aesthetic the Princess of Wales has been wearing lately, including the heart-print Rodarte dress she wore at a cancer charity reception last week. But importantly, the color—described as a “dark cream” by the designer—allowed Kate to blend in with the rest of the guests as much as possibly could.

Speaking on behalf of CasinoHawks, Harrold says, “Kate is aware that the world is looking at her, even when traditionally they should be looking at the bride—and she does what she can to make sure she doesn’t steal the show.”

“She puts a lot of thought into her outfits to make sure she looks the part without overshadowing the bride,” Harrold, who worked for King Charles between 2004 and 2011, adds. Kate took the same approach at her sister Pippa's 2017 wedding and the Jordanian royal wedding in 2023, wearing muted, blush-hued dresses to both events.

For Peter and Harriet's big day, the Princess of Wales accessorized with a classic Jane Taylor boater hat accented with a darker tan ribbon, adding beige pumps and a raffia clutch by Forever New. Kate leaned into the “something old, something new” tradition, debuting a diamond pendant necklace and the same Kiki McDonough drop earrings he wore to Pippa's wedding.

“She also wore a bracelet that used to belong to Princess Diana, which was very kind to see,” Harold adds.

When it was announced that King Charles and Queen Camilla were confirmed to attend the Epsom Derby on the same day as his nephew Peter Phillips’s wedding, some royal watchers wondered if he’d be skipping the nuptials. But true to form, the smiling King and Queen arrived at the church in Kemble, England on Saturday before dashing off to the derby. It’s an approach The King’s former butler, Grant Harrold, says is markedly different from the late Queen.

Speaking on behalf of CasinoHawks, Harrold says King Charles has always “adored his nephew,” describing them as “very close.” He adds that even though it was a tight timeline, The King made sure that being at Peter's wedding was a top priority, despite his scheduled royal duties.

“It would have been a logistical nightmare to make it work, but the King and his team would have gone to extreme lengths to ensure he could be there for the ceremony,” Harrold shares.

Queen Elizabeth was known for her incredible dedication to Crown and country, but at times, that came at the expense of her family, as Harrold points out. He calls The King attending Peter and Harriet’s wedding “interesting because it shows how different the King is to his mother.”

“The late Queen was always about duty first, family after,” he shares. “She missed many family occasions as she didn’t want to let people down at official engagements. However, The King is a bit more relaxed on this, and wants to make sure he’s there for the big moments in his family’s life.” Harrold describes his former boss as trying to keep “all the plates spinning.”

“Where The Queen was Crown first, family second, the King works really hard to keep them equal,” he adds.

Although the King and Queen weren’t able to be there for Peter and Harriet’s wedding reception at Princess Anne’s home, Gatcombe Park, the bride and groom certainly would have understood.

“Many people took this as rude or a snub, but that couldn’t be further from the truth,” Harrold says of Their Majesties leaving early. “The King was due to present a trophy at the races, which is a huge engagement in the royal diary. And while for us, we wouldn’t feel bad about cancelling a work event for a close family member’s wedding, it’s of course very, very different from the royals.”

Everyone from King Charles to Princess Beatrice turned out to witness Peter Phillips marry Harriet Sperling on Saturday, June 6, but two members of the Royal Family were conspicuously absent. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly not invited to Harry’s cousin’s wedding, and former royal butler Grant Harrold says the move “was the right decision.”

Although Prince William didn’t attend his cousin’s first wedding to Autumn Kelly, he joined Princess Kate and the rest of the Royal Family for Saturday’s wedding. But Harry, who was always close with Peter and was there to support Phillips at his 2008 nuptials, didn’t attend this time.

“I’m not surprised that we didn’t see Harry and Meghan there, but it’s still quite sad,” Harrold, said, speaking on behalf of CasinoHawks. “It really does highlight how much things have changed in the last five years.”

“Peter and Harry haven’t spoken for several years and have simply lost touch, so he hasn’t been invited,” a friend of Peter and Harriet's told Hello!

Harrold, who served King Charles at Highgrove for nearly a decade, was there to witness the interactions between Charles’s boys and their cousins over the years, and notes that “Peter and Harry were really close.”

Phillips does not hold a royal title and lives a relatively low-key life out of the spotlight, usually only joining the Royal Family at large events like weddings, funerals, Jubilees or The King’s coronation. And with Prince Harry living in California, there have been few opportunities for the two to interact.

Harrold continues, “Peter is such a diplomatic person that I think he would have called Harry to discuss it.” However, even if such a conversation didn’t take place, the fact remains that Prince Harry and Meghan would have become “the main story of the day” if they had been invited, as Harrold shares.

“It would have completely overshadowed the whole wedding, and everyone knows a wedding should be about the bride. Despite everything that’s happened, Harry really cares about Peter and he wouldn’t want to ruin his day,” the former royal butler says.

“While it’s still very sad and it shows there is a long way to go before Harry is welcomed back into the fold, I think it was the right decision,” he adds. “He’s considering their feelings, which is good.”

When Peter Phillips married Harriet Sperling on June 6, the congregation at All Saints ​Church in the village of Kemble was filled with members of the Royal Family, but one guest had a close tie to the future Queen. Princess Kate’s ex-boyfriend, Rupert Finch, attended the ceremony alongside his fashion designer wife, Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs—and she wore a very familiar dress from her brand for the occasion.

The Princess of Wales briefly dated Finch in college before she got together with Prince William, and the attorney was a guest at William and Kate’s 2011 wedding. He married Isaacs in 2013, and as the founder of royal-favorite brand Beulah London, she’s maintained a connection to the Princess of Wales. In fact, Lady Natasha—who is the daughter of Simon Rufus Isaacs, 4th Marquess of Reading—wore the same blue dress from her label that Kate wore to a 2023 polo match.

The three-quarter sleeve, silk crepe de chine midi dress retailed for £550 at the time and features balloon sleeves and a white pattern. Isaacs paired it with a bow-trimmed white headpiece and an embroidered Aspinal of London Midi Mayfair bag, another favorite of the Princess of Wales.

Kate has worn Beulah designs frequently over the years, and Sperling is also a fan of the label, which has been worn by everyone from Princess Beatrice to Queen Mary of Denmark. Although Kate didn't wear Beulah to the royal wedding, she looked elegant in a beige Roland Mouret dress with a Jane Taylor boater hat, keeping the focus on the newest royal bride.

Isaacs spoke fondly of the Princess of Wales in a 2020 interview with Hello! magazine. “It’s always lovely to see the Duchess in Beulah,” she said. “She’s a wonderful ambassador for British brands and that is more important than ever at the moment.”

Finch has never commented on his relationship with Kate, except for stating (via the Sun), “It’s not something I’ll ever talk about. It’s between Kate and me and was a long time ago.”

However, there’s no bad blood between the two, as former royal butler Grant Harrold shared. “Members of the Royal Family are known for remaining close with their exes,” Harrold said, speaking on behalf of Casino Hawks.

“The King and Prince William both still count some of their exes as good friends,” he added, explaining that “they tend to date within their friendship group” and that it wouldn't have been a surprise for the Princess of Wales to run into him at the wedding.

The low-key location of Sperling and Phillips's royal wedding—All Saints Church in the Cotswolds—mirrored the countryside setting of Pippa Middleton's wedding to James Matthews.

The pair tied the knot on May 20, 2017 at St Mark's Church in Englefield, Berkshire, close to the home of Carole and Michael Middleton. The reception, of course, was held nearby at the Middleton residence, Bucklebury Manor.

Sperling's wedding mirrored Pippa's nuptials in many ways. As both married in small countryside churches, their photos were filled with gorgeous green foliage and flowers. The brides both wore similar dresses, too.

Pippa wore a Giles Deacon white lace gown with short sleeves and a high-neck, along with a long flowing veil. Meanwhile, Sterling also wore a white lace gown, albeit in a different silhouette and with long lace sleeves. The pair both favored a high neckline, as well as a delicate tiara accompanied by an impressive veil.

Both couples posed for photos outside of their wedding ceremony; the countryside churches and floral arrangements helped create a romantic ambience.

In many ways, Princess Kate's wedding to Prince William on April 29, 2011, was a totally different affair. The large royal wedding took place at Westminster Abbey in London, and was televised to millions of viewers around the globe.

While the location of the Prince and Princess of Wales's wedding seemingly didn't inspire Sperling's nuptials, Princess Kate's dress might have.

Just like Sperling, Kate wore a dress with long lace sleeves and a long white veil. The shape of Princess Kate's dress—which was designed by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen—has little in common with Sperling's, the lace detailing certainly draws comparisons.

It goes without saying that Sperling's royal wedding to Phillips was unique in many ways. But it's also nice to see the similarities between the Middleton sisters's weddings and Sperling's 2026 bridal style.

"Favored as a bridal headpiece and owned by the Pragnell family, this delicate tiara has been worn by generations of Pragnell family members and was present at the coronation of both King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II," the jeweler's website explained.

Per the jeweler, the Pragnell Tiara is "very rare" in its design as it references both the Edwardian and the Deco periods. Despite not belonging to Princess Anne, Sperling's new mother-in-law does have an unexpected connection to the headpiece.

As noted by the designer, the Pragnell Tiara bears a "great resemblance to the tiara owned by The Princess Royal, [shown] in the official photograph celebrating her fiftieth birthday in 2000," the jeweler noted.

Despite forgoing a Royal Family tiara on her wedding day, Sperling made a romantic choice by wearing a headpiece tied to her engagement ring from Phillips.

The Princess of Wales also paid tribute to her late mother-in-law by wearing Princess Diana's Three Strand Pearl Bracelet.

Kate was joined at the wedding by husband Prince William, but the couple's three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—weren't spotted at the nuptials.

King Charles and Queen Camilla are also attending the royal wedding, but they will reportedly cut the celebrations short. According to the Daily Mail’s Richard Eden, The King and Queen are set to make an appearance at the Epsom Derby on Saturday after Harriet and Peter's wedding ceremony.

The Princess of Wales, who was dating William at the time, attended Peter and Autumn's wedding on her own, and Peter's decision to sell his wedding photos to Hello! caused quite the stir among royal circles.

But King Charles and Prince William have both made a point to focus on the small group of senior working royals at public events—an inner circle that is quickly aging. As the Royal Family prepares to gather for Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling’s wedding on June 6, former royal butler Grant Harrold is opening up about one member of the family who won’t be taking on full-time duties anytime soon.

Speaking on behalf of OLBG, Harrold, who worked for The King between 2004 and 2011, says that fans might not realize how involved Phillips is behind the scenes. “He’s had quite an active role in royal events over the years,” he shares, explaining that among other activities, Peter “was on the committee for the late Queen’s Jubilee celebrations.”

Peter’s sister, Zara Tindall, has supported their cousin Prince William and their uncle The King at events like royal garden parties, but Harrold notes that their branch of the family is unlikely to ever take on bigger roles in the family, especially when Prince William “talks about a slimmed-down monarchy.”

Harrold says that although Peter doesn't have a title or an official role, “he’s still a close family member and a key part of the more private side of the family’s life.”

“He’s very close to his uncle, the King,” Harrold adds. “The King enjoys spending time with Peter and his sister Zara, which we see whenever they attend public events together. The King has a lot of time and love for him.”

While it might seem slightly strange that Phillips is using the very same wedding planner for his second wedding, the company actually has a Royal Family connection. Per the Daily Mail, the business was founded by Peregrine Armstrong-Jones, who just so happens to be the half-brother of Princess Margaret's husband, Antony Armstrong-Jones.

Phillips famously sold his wedding photos to Hello! magazine in 2008, but that apparently won't be happening this time. "A magazine deal is out of the question as the issue is now very sensitive," a source told the outlet.

Notably, Phillips's ex-wife, Autumn Kelly, is allegedly set to attend the wedding, per GB News. Phillips and Kelly continue co-parent their two daughters, Savannah and Isla, and it seems as though they have maintained a civil relationship post-divorce.

In April 2025, Kelly was photographed with the Princess Royal at the Cirencester Park Horse Trials, where professional equestrian Zara was competing. Speaking to Hello! at the time, royal photographer James Watling said, "It was just nice and relaxed. Zara had a group of pals and grooms with her. Autumn was there, which was nice to see. She's obviously still part of the family and was chatting to Anne and everyone else."

"She loaned Autumn the Diamond Festoon Tiara for the couple's 2008 wedding, so it is unlikely that she would offer the same again," the royal historian shares.
