As the holiday season approaches, everyone is getting ready to rewatch their favorite festive films. 2006's The Holiday, which stars Jude Law, Kate Winslet, and Cameron Diaz, remains a classic Christmas movie. However, fans of the film should make sure they're seated before reading any further, as Law has revealed some pretty devastating news about the location of the movie's idyllic Rosehill Cottage.

In the film, Winslet's Iris lives in the cottage, but decides to house swap with Diaz's Amanda, who lives in Los Angeles. In the snowy British countryside, Amanda is a fish out of water, but she grows to love the charming cottage, and it's where she meets Iris' brother, Graham (played by Law). In a new interview with BBC Radio 2, Law dished on the enviable, rustic cottage, and why fans may have trouble locating the building in real life.

"That cottage doesn't exist," Law told the radio show's hosts, breaking a million hearts in the process.

"So the director [Nancy Meyers], she's a bit of a perfectionist," Law explained. "She toured that whole area and didn't quite find the chocolate box cottage she's looking for. So she just hired a field and drew it and had someone build it."

As for how the cast filmed the scenes that took place at the newly built Rosehill Cottage, Law said, "So here's the funny thing, if you watch it... We were shooting in the winter here. And every time I'd go in that door, we'd cut, and we shot the interiors in L.A. about three months later."

Realizing that the revelation had just devastated the hosts and their listeners, Law simply said, "Just burst the bubble. Sorry!"

While it's impossible to visit The Holiday's Rosehill Cottage, fans of the film can take a look at the building that provided inspiration for the filmmakers. Honeysuckle Cottage in Holmbury Saint Mary reportedly inspired The Holiday's set designers to build their own country home, in case you fancy a trip across the pond, per House and Garden.

In a 2020 interview with Vulture, Diaz discussed her experience working with director and screenwriter Meyers on The Holiday. "I think the sets are so wonderful," she explained. "There's just a real world that she knows how to create. Lots of textures, lots of layers... So that kind of wraps around you when you walk on set."

Even though Rosehill Cottage wasn't real, Diaz felt the sets were incredibly warm and inviting. "But going on to the sets for The Holiday, you just felt like you were walking into the characters' homes," she told the outlet. "You kind of forgot that you were on a soundstage, that there was lighting hanging above you and cameras all around you. That dissipates and you're left in these very clear, thoughtful environments that the characters live among."

In a word, how could 2024 thus far be described as far as the royal family goes? Tumultuous, for starters. Amidst Princess Kate’s abdominal surgery, King Charles’ prostate procedure that led to a detection of a still undisclosed form of cancer, the Duchess of York’s skin cancer diagnosis just weeks after beating breast cancer, and the tragic death of Thomas Kingston just one week ago, a steady anchor in the storm has been Queen Camilla, a woman once considered the most reviled woman in the U.K. who is now the face of stability in a turbulent year so far.

Of the four most senior working royals, Charles and Kate have been sidelined with health issues, and Prince William has devoted himself first and foremost to taking care of Kate and maintaining normalcy for their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. That has left Camilla to man the ship, which she has done, consistently working even amidst her husband’s corrective procedure and now, his cancer treatments.

So good for her for taking a brief respite after nearly two months of filling in for her husband, in addition to her own duties as Queen. Other working royals will step in during her absence, Hello reports, as her diary is clear through March 11, when she will return to duty to lead the royal family at the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey. “It’s understood that during her week off, Camilla will spend time with her husband, King Charles, and other members of her family,” Hello reports. During her break, William, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh (Edward and Sophie), and Princess Anne will attend engagements in her place.

“The Queen will be a tower of strength for the King as he goes through cancer treatment,” said Hello royal editor Emily Nash. “She understands the issue well from her work with Maggie’s cancer centers and she will be at his side every step of the way.”

The Mirror expounded on Camilla’s plans during her week off, reporting that she will “recharge her batteries” by taking “a break in the sun,” adding she is “jetting off on a private flight tomorrow for a sunshine break overseas.” 

Royal expert Ingrid Seward said that the King will have “insisted” that his wife should take a breather, and that Camilla’s holiday was an “excellent indication” that Charles is doing well since beginning cancer treatments on February 5. “He will see that she is exhausted after recent months,” Seward said. “Camilla has had the ultimate worry about her husband’s health. But she has also been the one who has had to step up to the busy schedule of royal engagements as well as wanting to be there for him and Kate whilst they each have their health issues. She certainly deserves some rest and relaxation.”

That said, Seward added, “This will raise the question of who’s in charge at such a vital time and with so many key royals out of action.”

According to a royal source speaking to The Times, “Although she was not expecting to find herself in the position of leading the family, the Queen is absolutely prepared to do whatever needs to be done for the institution. She has been buoyed by the public’s reaction. She has found reserves of energy that even she didn’t think she had, and the estimation of her by those inside the Palace has soared as she has put her shoulder to the wheel.” 

Another source close to Camilla said “Her Majesty is robust, positive, and determined to keep going while the King is off public duties. The King is proud and pleased to see the show is being kept on the road by the Queen and the wider family.”

Though it is currently unknown where exactly Camilla is headed off to for her vacation, a different sunshine locale is, according to The Mirror, still on the books for Charles and Camilla to visit later this year, albeit in an official capacity, not for vacation. The outlet reports that, despite Charles’ diagnosis, the royal couple will still visit Australia in October as planned, the first visit by a British monarch since 2011. “The Australian government, along with Buckingham Palace, pressing ahead with the plans for later this year is a huge positive step,” a source said, per The Mirror. “The King is keen to return to duties as soon as possible but is rightfully focusing on his recovery and rest as he undergoes treatment for cancer.” 

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said that “Australia is preparing for a possible visit from His Majesty The King to Australia later this year. The King has shown his compassion for Australians affected by recent natural disasters, just as Australians have shown compassion and support for the King following his cancer diagnosis.”

Australia is one of 15 remaining Commonwealth realms, meaning that Charles is their monarch, as well.

Since giving birth to her first child, Luai, last July, Lindsay Lohan has had little time for Freaky Friday body swaps, or even posting on Instagram.

But it seems like Lohan wanted to give fans a belated Christmas gift, as she's provided a sneak peek into her Christmas and New Year's Eve.

She took to Instagram to share photos from across the festive season and captioned the post, "Wishing everyone a Blessed year. May it be filled with Love, Good Health, Peace and Happiness! Full of gratitude."

The first photo is a gorgeous selfie of the actress standing in front of a decorated Christmas tree. The next is a glimpse into her marriage, with Lohan and her husband, Bader Shammas, smiling at each other.

The remaining five photos show the famous Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, in the midst of its annual fireworks display. (Lohan and her family live in Dubai and Lohan has called the city home since 2014.)

The actress has taken a step out of the public eye in recent years, emerging only for the Mean Girls Walmart commercial earlier this year, a few Netflix movies, and to give fans the occasional personal update.

One such update occurred in 2022 when Lohan revealed that she had wed Shammas, who is a financier. Another such update happened in July 2023 when Lohan shared news of the birth of her son, Luai. Luai is Arabic for "shield or protector," providing a special touch to the name.

Lohan has shared no photos of her son, perhaps aiming to contrast her own camera-filled youth, but she did share shots of her ocean-themed nursery with Architectural Digest.

Drake is feeling grateful.

The singer and rapper posted a sweet Christmas snap on Wednesday, wrapping his arms around his mom, Sandi Graham, and his son, six-year-old Adonis. The trio is gathered in front of an elaborately decorated Christmas tree.

"Gifted you things with and without barcodes, gave with every fiber of my soul, Gia stones that glowed and Chanel flaps that overflowed, I even gave you the tools to avoid reaping what you sowed … but somehow different stories are being told on road," Drake wrote in his Instagram caption. The singer's holiday festivities also included a live music performance in his mansion.

While Drake first denied Sophie Brussaux's claims that she was pregnant with his child, he confirmed Adonis was his son in 2018. These days, he and Brussaux seem to be on better terms; she shared a Father's Day message for Drake in 2022, calling him an "amazing father." More recently, Drake celebrated Adonis in October with an Instagram video wishing his son a happy birthday. When Chet Hanks makes headlines, it's often for things like his controversial Jamaican accent or his song "White Boy Summer." It's less common to see Chet with his famous dad, beloved actor and Oscar winner Tom Hanks. So when the father-son duo shared a Christmas photo together, fans took notice.

Chet posted a photo of himself and his dad bundled up from the cold, simply captioning it "Gang." Tom wears a beanie and clear-frame glasses, while Chet sports a Los Angeles Dodgers cap.

LED light therapy offers various benefits for the skin, depending on the wavelength and type of light used. Yes, there's more than just red light, and yes, it does make a difference.

"Light emitting diode (LED) treatments use different wavelengths in the visible light and near infrared spectrum to achieve various effects, such as the reduction of inflammation, treatment of acne and breakouts, accelerate wound healing, stimulate hair growth and improve fine lines and wrinkles," explains Morayo Adisa, M.D. and Medical Director Dermatology Physicians, Chicago.

Red Light (630–660 nm)

What Are the Downsides of LED Therapy?

LED light therapy is a fan favorite for many reasons. "Regular sessions can lead to clearer skin, smoother texture, and a more even tone," says Dendy Engelman, M.D., a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist and Mohs surgeon at Shafer Clinic in New York City. "It’s a non-invasive, pain-free option that supports long-term skin health with minimal risk or downtime."

However, there are still some minor drawbacks to be aware of. "Overuse or misusing devices can lead to dryness, irritation, or increased sensitivity, especially in people with reactive skin," says Dr. Engelman. "It also requires consistency and patience—results build gradually over time, not overnight." Additionally, not all at-home devices are created equal; lower-quality tools may not deliver the correct wavelengths or intensity required for genuine skin benefits.

Should I Use an LED Mask?

LED light therapy is praised for being generally non-invasive and gentle, making it a great option for many people seeking firmer, clearer skin. However, there are a few instances where people should steer clear.

Dr. Foad explains that anyone with a history of photosensitivity, whether due to medical conditions such as lupus or medications that increase light sensitivity, such as doxycycline, should speak with their healthcare provider before starting treatment. It is also recommended that pregnant individuals consult their doctor before treatment (research in that area is limited). People with certain skin cancers or active infections should avoid light therapy until they've consulted with a dermatologist. Dr. Magovern adds that "people with severe eye conditions or light-triggered seizures" should also take precautions with light therapy tools."

While red light therapy is gentle, making sure it’s safe for your unique situation is always the best first step.

Is At-Home Light Therapy as Good as In-Office Light Therapy?

The short answer is that at-home devices do not have the same strength as in-office treatments. However, that doesn't mean an at-home device isn't worth it. They just require more patience and consistency.

"At-home LED masks or wands are less powerful than in-office devices, which is why they’re safe for daily use," says Dr. Magovern. "But they can absolutely work—with consistent use. I find that people start to abandon them after the initial excitement wears off."

In-office treatments—frequently under brand names like Celluma or LightStim Pro—are more powerful, penetrate deeper, and offer "stronger clinical results." That being said, both types of treatments can be used synergistically—at-home devices can help extend the results of in-office treatments.

When Will I Notice Results From At-Home LED Masks?

With at-home devices, patience is key. Dr. Engelman explains that "typically, noticeable improvements from LED light therapy start to appear after about four to six weeks of consistent use." Most people do treatments three to five times per week, with sessions lasting 10 to 20 minutes. Results build gradually as the light stimulates collagen production and reduces inflammation over time, she adds.

Dr. Adisa also shares that on average, "it takes about four weeks to see a difference with acne treatments and four to 16 weeks for lines and wrinkles."

'Tis the season, am I right?

Plenty of families have holiday traditions involving matching pajamas. But have you ever seen dozens of people all wearing the same Christmas PJs at once? Well, that's the case in Sydney Sweeney's family.

"I get matching onesies for every single one of my family members, pets included," the Euphoria star said to People. "We just have a giant room of 60 cousins, aunts, and uncles, all in matching onesies." As if that weren't enough, the onesie-clad family then makes a human pyramid before taking a holiday photo.

Sweeney also shared with People that her family holds a Secret Santa gift exchange. "I love just giving gifts and seeing how happy people get," she said.

The holiday season comes at a busy time for Sweeney, both in her career and in her personal life. Her new movie, Anyone But You, came out on Friday, amid speculation that she and costar Glen Powell were a bit more than coworkers. (Sweeney was unfazed by the gossip, telling Variety in August that "the press loves to create drama.") She's also been engaged to Jonathan Davino since 2022, though there's no word on whether he, too, participates in the Christmas onesie and pyramid tradition.

And while the holiday season provides a much-needed break for the busy star, 2024 will be filled with work for Sweeney. The third season of Euphoria is set for a 2025 release, so she'll likely film the next installment of the HBO series next year. Sweeney will also star in the upcoming Ron Howard film Eden, a thriller based on a real-life story. Her acting credits run the gamut; Sweeney is one star who refuses to be boxed in. A mere few days before Christmas Day, actress Tori Spelling admitted to some last-minute holiday shopping in an Instagram post that every overworked, overwhelmed and exhausted mom can relate to this holiday season.

“It’s Dec. 22 and I officially bought my first gift for Christmas,” the Beverly Hills, 90210 star wrote in a post shared on her Instagram stories, which also featured a photo of a silver Christmas ornament. “5 Christmas lists to tackle. 3 Days to do. Missed the Amazon Prime cut off. Now I have to brave the mall alone.

"Crushing this single mom Christmas 2023,” she also wrote, adding a laughing face and tears emoji because, you know, duh.

Spelling shares four children with her ex-husband, Dean McDermott—Liam, 16, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, and Finn, 11. McDermott also has a son, Jack, from his previous marriage to Mary Jo Eustace.

In June, 2023, McDermott announced that the couple had split in a now-deleted post on Instagram, as reported by People.

"It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways and start a new journey of our own," McDermott wrote at the time. "We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time."

While Spelling has yet to comment on the end of her marriage publicly, McDermott opened up about the split in a November interview with The Daily Mail.

"I just isolated more and more and more and she isolated with the kids. We were roommates," the actor told the outlet at the time. "Rarely, rarely, rarely did we eat together. We'd sit down and have a family meal but it was always disjointed. It made me feel worse because I knew I was a big part of (the problem) and I was at a place where I felt there was nothing I could do about it."

Earlier this month, Spelling took her four children to the Jingle Ball 2023 in Los Angeles, California.

On Friday, Dec. 22, the Queen of Christmas and mother of two was spotted in Aspen, Colorado wearing a stylish all-black outfit, including a black-and-white Chanel skully cap, black elbow-length shirt, and a black, sleeveless fur vest.

The pop star paired the look with form-fitting, black sparkly leggings and knee-high black, heeled boots (with the red-bottoms, my friends). The icon also wore black shades as well as a pearl-looking necklace and similar bracelets on both wrists.

Recently, the stylish icon visited the White House to spread some festive cheer, meeting both President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. Carey was joined by her 12-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Nick Cannon.

'Tis the season for some holiday bling... if you're iconic actress Salma Hayek, of course.

On Thursday, Dec. 21, the House of Gucci star was spotting shopping for some jewelry at a Gucci store in Beverly Hills, California. While perusing the high-priced merchandise alongside her daughter, Valentina, Hayek was dawning a chic black jacket that was accentuated by several white stripes at both the collar and cuffs.

The From Dusk Till Dawn actress paired the jacket with some form-fitting black pants and ankle-high black boots. Her hair was worn down in effortless waves, while the actress dawned simple-but-elegant black eye-glasses and minimal jewelry.

Hayek recently celebrated her only daughter's Sweet 16, posting a heartfelt message in honor of her birthday on Instagram.

"Today my baby turns 16 and my heart is bursting with love, pride and gratitude for the day you were born," Hayek captioned the post, which included various home videos of Valentina over the years.

Nothing says "happy holidays" like an ode to easily the most talked about romance of 2023.

On Wednesday, Dec. 20, the National Football League (NFL) released their annual holiday card of sorts and in partnership with the kids' television network Nickelodeon. The card features illustrations of the top NFL players from the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders, who are enjoying some holiday tomfoolery as they open presents, tackle each other, and run around a Christmas tree while sporting their respective uniforms.

The two teams are featured on this year's cartoon because the real players will face-off on the field on Christmas Day.

"Can you spot all the Easter eggs?" the caption reads. "Unwrap all the surprises with #NFLonNickmas."

Kansas City Chief tight end Travis Kelce is featured on the card, and it took fans a whopping .5 seconds to spot an ode to his famous beau, Taylor Swift.

The cartoon version of Kelce sits in the righthand corner of the card, criss-cross applesauce and lovingly making friendship bracelets—yes, *those* friendship bracelets. His cheeks are flushed as his cartoon character is giving full-on "puppy dog eyes."

Fans quickly jumped on the not-so-subtle wink to Kelce and Swift.

“I can’t with Trav," one fan commented. “Travis making his friendship bracelets," another wrote. One Instagram user said that Kelce's “friendship bracelets is everything.”

The comments on the post have since been shut off because, yes, the internet can be a garbage heap of bad manners.

Kelce and Swift started dating earlier this year after the NFL star gave the "Era's Tour" artist a shoutout during a July episode of Kelce’s podcast New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, which he hosts alongside his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.

In the episode, Kelce revealed that he had tried to give Swift his phone number by using a friendship bracelet while attending one of her concerts.

"(He) very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell," Swift told TIME Magazine in an interview earlier this year, in which Swift was named Person of the Year.

The couple “started hanging out” right after that, Swift told the outlet, and by the time she attended her first Kansas City Chief game said they "were a couple."

“I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game?” she said, adding that the pair “would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”

In the most recent episode of his podcast, Kelce gushed about seeing his girlfriend attend his NFL games.

"I'll say this: They showed Taylor at the game," he told his brother, Jason. "You don't see an entire home team fanbase go insane for somebody wearing the opposite team's colors. Just shows you how amazing that girl is.

'Tis the season to be twinning!

Actresses and best friends Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern celebrated the holiday season in matching, festive (and affordable) outfits this year. In two photos posted to Witherspoon's Instagram, the BFFs are wearing matching white crewneck sweaters paired with matching, ankle-length sequin skirts.

"Spreading Holiday joy ... it's exhausting," Witherspoon captioned the post.

In the first photo, the besties are all smiles as they pose in front of a gorgeously decorated Christmas tree. In the second photo, they look tired, disheveled, and, well, like how every other hardworking mother looks during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.

Witherspoon chose to compliment her matching ensemble with a pair of black, close-toed heels. Dern decided to go with a splash of color, selecting a pair of red pointed shoes and a matching red clutch.

In a post on her own Instagram, Dern shared a photo of the two actresses posing as if they are speaking on the phone.

"Listen, I said get Santa on the horn, STAT," Dern captioned the post. We’ve got a skirt emergency."

The A-line, sparkling maxi skirt is from Old Navy, only costs $40 (we love a good deal!) and was previously modeled by Natasha Lyonne in her holiday campaign for the brand, as reported by People.

The holiday gathering appears to have been hosted by Property Brothers personality and host of Celebrity IOU, Jonathan Scott.

"Holidaying takes a lot out of you," he commented on Witherspoon's post. "Thanks for coming…it was a magical night."

"Haha. I said no long distance calls to Santa!!!" he wrote on Dern's. Thank you for coming…so much fun."

In the comments, Witherspoon said the evening was filled with "so much caroling , and eggnog and catching up!" The FOMO is real.

I don't want to ask for too much (I know we're all still begging for Renaissance music videos), but hear me out: Can we get a Beyoncé Christmas album? I don't care if it's all covers; I need to hear her belt "Underneath the Tree."

Honestly, it's not the most far-fetched idea. Like many, Beyoncé is a big fan of the holidays and has even been known to don an ugly sweater once in a while. Recently, she exhibited her love for the season via a Santa-inspired manicure as she embarked on a holiday tour of New York City on Wednesday, December 20. While I don't think her bus stopped at a recording studio, it's important to believe in holiday magic.

Although the nails first appear to have red french tips, a closer inspection of the "ALIEN SUPERSTAR" singer's hand shows tiny, snow-white puffs that reveal the shape of Santa's hat. The art was the work of celebrity manicurist Miho Okawara, who also tackled Beyoncé's recent simple mauve mani (simple, that is, until you see the chrome backs) and a gorgeous natural mani-pedi on Jay Z.

"Santa x Red = perfect holidays," wrote the nail artist on Instagram, sharing that she used polish by Japanese gel manufacturer Nail Labo and long, almond-shaped acrylics to achieve the look.

While I wouldn't have minded a screenshot-and-zoom-in on the nails (it's a favorite hobby of mine, actually), Beyoncé decided to show off the manicure in a close-up snapshot on her own Instagram page as part of a carousel of photos. Worn on a daytime city tour with her family to see the Rockefeller Center tree, she went cold weather-chic with a black leather jacket, balaclava, leggings, and strappy heels. Still, she kept the festive vibes going with red lipstick and silver earrings that were brilliantly pinned outside the head covering.

You give us so many presents, Beyoncé. Santa has nothing on you.

Another day, another ultra-glamorous style look posted on Instagram in a photo dump by the great Jennifer Lopez herself. Lopez is continuing to channel all things holly and bright in a holiday festive ensemble; she was the co-host of a Christmas holiday party with none other than her husband, Ben Affleck, this past weekend. Previously, we have seen Lopez on a last-minute holiday gift run, reminding all of us about the importance of wardrobe staple basics, showing off her holiday decor in her $61 million mansion (shared with Affleck), as well as a snap of her performing for her guests at the holiday party in another look, wearing a sparkly sequin-gown in a bright Grinch green shade. 

Needless to say, if Lopez is going to be a hostess, she is going to wear more than one look for the occasion. Before changing for her performance, the multihyphenate indicated that she is up to date on every fashion trend imaginable by wearing a bodycon cherry red long-sleeved maxi dress by Magda Butrym with a rosette pinned at the collar. Though we’ve grown accustomed to seeing Lopez in a front-slit gown, the red cherry maxi had a slit in the back. Recently, we’ve seen everyone from Selena Gomez to Zendaya make Miranda Presley eat her words, making florals a groundbreaking fashion motif for winter. From the runways of Valentino and Prada, or on the red carpet, it doesn’t seem like the hyper-feminine 3-D rosette appliques aren’t going anywhere anytime soon after blooming in fashion over the past two years. 

Lopez made sure to give credit where credit is due and tagged her glam team behind her party ensemble. Notably, she tagged makeup artist Mary Phillips (Phillips is also a go-to makeup artist for besties Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner).

Lopez’s makeup for the event included a sparkly smokey eye palette and a neutral glossy lip, intensely outlined in a dark shade of brown to make the gloss pop. Her face had the glow and shimmer that can only be achieved with the products of J.Lo Beauty; her hair was styled in a side part with a voluminous curl to her honey brunette locks. Her nails were pointed into a sharp almond shape and had a frosty cream color to match the spirit of snowy weather. Lastly, Lopez kept her accessories to a minimum (well, for her) and wore long drop diamond earrings.

It’s tiiiiiiimeeee…to forget what you know about winter whites, according to Mariah Carey. Of course, the Queen of Christmas would have a chic take on dressing for the snowy weather. Long gone are the days when wearing white had to end after Labor Day. Despite what you may know about the considered fashion faux pas, winter whites can add a sophisticated touch to a bundled-up ensemble. Mariah Carey’s white Aspen outfit is the perfect example, just in time for festive dressing.

The “All I Want For Christmas Is You” singer never fails to deliver some holiday cheer, and this time, instead of a song, it was in the form of an outfit. For a day of designer shopping, Carey cozied up in a white cropped Prada Nylon puffer jacket that she wore zipped open to reveal her matching white tank top underneath. She styled it with a mini circle skirt, white sheer tights to keep warm, and Giuseppe Zanotti leather boots that had a cozy shearling detail that were equal parts practical and chic (the ideal snow boot!).

For accessories, in true glamorous Mariah fashion, she added a sparkling diamond tennis necklace and oversized bug-eye sunglasses from Tom Ford (that looked very familiar to Kendall Jenner's alien-core Bottega sunglasses she also wore during her trip to Aspen.) Continuing with the high-glam theme was her ‘90s slicked-back high ponytail and her frosty glossed lips. What better way to celebrate your sold-out Madison Square Garden shows than with a chic aprês ski look? 

So far, the looks to come out of the snowy Colorado ski town this season have been nothing short of memorable. Carey joins good company: In Aspen, best friends Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber used the vacation as a chance to sport some of our favorite looks of the season. Most notable was Jenner’s $27,000 Phoebe Philo fur coat look and Hailey Bieber’s vintage-inspired lingerie in the snow ice princess ensemble that was posted on her Instagram. 

Winter whites may not be controversial to us, but for some, it’s up there as a cardinal fashion sin. Carey isn’t the only A-lister to opt for monochromatic whites this winter season. While out on a date with Jay-Z, Beyoncé channeled winter whites in a comfy-cozy look with a shearling teddy coat. As did Anne Hathaway, who transformed between two all-white looks in New York: She was in a blazer and mini-skirt set one moment and a bedazzled shacket and matching cargo pants the next.

December is turning out to be quite the month for Swelce! First, Taylor Swift was named TIME's Person of the Year and Spotify's Top Global Artist. Then Swift and Travis Kelce celebrated her 34th birthday in New York, and she received quite the birthday gift from her home state of Pennsylvania. And now, it's time for the holidays, which sources confirm the couple will be spending together.

Swifties (like this writer) are relieved to hear this, and not just for the cute Christmas photos that are sure to come of the loving couple. But can you imagine the lyric potential about a romantic Christmas together? Or from sharing that special kiss at midnight on December 31?

Swift already has one song called "New Year's Day" (it makes me cry literally every time), but this could be a chance to write one titled "New Year's Eve" about her new boyfriend.

Or should I say, fiancé? As rumors are still swirling about a potential engagement between these two lovebirds, which some believe was confirmed by Swift's friend, Keleigh Teller...

As we wait for an engagement reveal that will no doubt be bursting with Swift's iconic Easter eggs (or perhaps even a song!), we get to enjoy all the recent Swelce sightings at Chiefs games.

Swift was accompanied by her father, Scott Swift, for a game last Sunday. Days after the star's birthday, Scott handed out slices of birthday cake to some fans sitting near them.

Perhaps it was after this game that Kelce asked for Papa Swift's blessing to marry his daughter. Not that she needs her permission, as Swift is most definitely "The Man" of her own life.

Swift has quickly become beloved by Kelce's inner circle, including the Chiefs' owner, Clark Hunt. He even gave Swift a birthday gift last week, and his daughter and wife took photos with her.

Former NFL quarterback Bernie Kosar is also firmly on Team Swift, as he gushed to Audacy's AM 560 Sports WQAM about meeting her at Kelce's home pre-game. Apparently, she even convinced him to break his juice diet with one of her delicious homemade cinnamon rolls. Yeah, she bakes too! And I doubt she uses a Betty Crocker mix like the rest of us.

I have no doubt Swift will be whipping up more treats on Christmas for Kelce to enjoy post-game. That's right, Kelce has to work Christmas and New Year's Day, as he has games to win. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end doesn't seem fazed by this, especially as he'll have a very special fan cheering him on.

Since both games will take place in Kansas City, Swelce will be spending the holidays there, likely in Kelce's new 6 million dollar home, bought in October—it's no Christmas Tree Farm, but it will have to do!

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I love unwrapping gifts that aren’t on my holiday wish list, which is very short might I add. There’s just something special about someone knowing you well enough to curate the perfect gift for you without your input. 

Don’t get me wrong—I prefer my gifts to come from brands that I routinely ooh and aah at, such as Burberry’s latest collection. The assortment of unique and colorful accessories is seriously unmatched.  Many of the products are inspired by the Knight Equestrian design, which is one of Burberry’s oldest house codes dating back to around 1901, but it feels so 2023 and beyond. I’m talking rose-embossed jewelry, shearling-lined heels, leather handbags, and the brand’s iconic cashmere scarves, of course. I scrolled through the entire collection and picked out 15 luxury pieces that will be unexpected but highly praised gifts.

It’s Tuesday afternoon—let’s overanalyze the Sussex holiday card, shall we? Cool. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle chose a photo from September and the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf, Germany—specifically the closing ceremony of the Games—as their photo this year. Many were disappointed that we didn’t get to see a glimpse of the ever-growing Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet as we have in holiday cards past, but can you blame the two for being protective over their children’s privacy? (Archie is four-and-a-half; Lili is two-and-a-half.)

“We wish you a very happy holiday season,” the card read. “Thanks for all the support in 2023!” It also links to their annual Archewell Foundation impact report, which features a video highlighting some of the nonprofit’s work throughout the past year.

During an appearance on the red carpet for the Variety Power of Women event in L.A., Meghan was asked by a reporter about her favorite holiday tradition. “That’s a great question,” she said. “Our little ones are little, and we’re enjoying every moment of it.”

But there’s a detail of the Sussex holiday card you may have missed, a body language expert told The Daily Express. Darren Stanton believes that, while the card may look more “corporate,” that Harry and Meghan are subtly communicating their happiness to the public. (In the photo, both beam widely.)

“The picture shows an enthusiastic-looking Meghan and Harry in a glitzy setting,” Stanton said. “It’s a good way of promoting their charity and putting them in a positive frame, as they both look happy to be there. I think the biggest thing about this Christmas card is that the picture was taken during the Invictus Games, which is one of their biggest achievements of the past year. It was at a time when Harry was his happiest, and Meghan was there to support him. The picture shows the pair in a very happy and joyous state of mind, which is obviously what they wanted to convey.”

Stanton continued “They appear completely excited, enthusiastic, and hopeful of the year ahead in terms of new projects and working on the Invictus Games again. They’re trying to convey that their brand is strong, if not stronger than ever.” There will actually not be an Invictus Games in 2024; the next iteration of the Games will be in 2025 in Vancouver and Whistler, Canada.

Stanton said that the Sussex card had a more business-like feel than that of the Prince and Princess of Wales, which featured a black and white image of them and their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

“With Kate Middleton and Prince William’s Christmas card, they opted for a more traditional and low-key look this year,” Stanton said. “They were dressed in smart casual clothing in a black and white image. There was no sense of them being linked to royalty. They just seemed like normal people. In comparison, Meghan and Harry have released a far more glitzy, over the top card for 2023. It’s not just from the couple, but on behalf of their Archewell organization. It’s clear the pair have decided to go with a more corporate and less personal feel, which is a slightly different approach to William and Kate.”

'Tis the season for some quintessential Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney tomfoolery, holiday style!

On Monday, Dec. 18, the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star, McElhenney, shared a photo on Instagram of the actors and business partners recreating Wham!'s iconic “Last Christmas” single album cover.

Reynolds, 47, and McElhenney, 46—who co-own the now-winning, across-the-pond soccer team Wrexham—purposefully styled their hair and outfits to mimic the 80s English pop duo, consisting of the late, great George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley.

The original cover—featuring perfectly coiffed hair and oversized sweaters captured in a black and white photograph—was originally released in 1986.

Not to be outdone, Reynolds also decided to share the same image to his own Instagram Stories. 

Forever the savvy business men, the pair added the logo of their Wrexham soccer club in the corner of the photo and captioned the images with one simple word—“WREXHAM!”—alongside a Christmas tree emoji, because when in Rome!

Reynolds and McElhenney are known for their sweet, comedic antics. In honor of McElhenney's 46th birthday, the Deadpool star uploaded a hilarious video of the musical chant on both YouTube and X, formerly known as Twitter.

And during a season of FX's Welcome to Wrexham — which documents the famous actors co-ownership of the once-failing-turned-successful soccer club—McElhenney roasted his co-owner with some hilarious commentary, noting how often Reynolds hugged some of the Wrexham players sans shirt, "acted like everybody's best friend" and was "kissing babies."

Well, we called it! We were hoping that a sighting of Ken, sorry, Ryan Gosling leaving a recording studio signaled the start of an illustrious music career, and the next step has been made clear. Thankfully, Gosling agrees that only one version of the summer smash "I'm Just Ken" is just decidedly not enough for 2023.

Gosling initially recorded the hit song "I'm Just Ken" for the Barbie movie (which came out in July), and it entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 87. Pretty impressive for a non-musician! But aside from the rankings, "I'm Just Ken" has become an anthem, a way of life, a viral TikTok sound, and so much more. It's definitely one of the defining songs of 2023.

In the song, Gosling sings about never being enough for Barbie, despite all his efforts to woo her: "Is it my destiny to live and die a life of blonde fragility?" he ponders.

From this song (and this film), "Kenergy" was born, something that Gosling embodies in every fiber of his being. He has taken the character to heart as much as Austin Butler clung to Elvis' accent.

And, at least not yet, the Kenergy doesn't have to end. Yesterday, a teaser was shared of the upcoming Christmas version of the song, "I'm Just Ken (Merry Kristmas Barbie)." In the teaser, Gosling can be seen working with Mark Ronson on the song, both fiddling with the dials.

Ronson—who has worked with Miley Cyrus, Amy Winehouse, and Bruno Mars—was the co-writer and co-producer for the original "I'm Just Ken," and told Entertainment Weekly how much he enjoyed working with Gosling. I can't wait to see what the two of them come up with this time.

The Wales family has released its 2023 Christmas card, but they aren't spending the entire holiday season together. Prince William is traveling without Kate Middleton and their children the week before Christmas—but it's for an important reason.

The prince is taking a last-minute trip to Kuwait with U.K. Foreign Secretary David Cameron, GBN reported on Monday. William is participating in the trip on behalf of his father, King Charles, to pay condolences and respects to His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. His Late Highness Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah died on Saturday at age 86, per AP. GBN notes that the deceased royal had visited the U.K. three times this year, including for King Charles's coronation in May.

As People points out, William and Kate's three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, have all been on holiday break from school since Friday. The unexpected trip may have hindered some of the family's plans to spend time together before Christmas Day.

The trip to Kuwait also isn't the only part of the holiday season William and Kate will be spending apart. Royal tradition dictates that men and women spend Christmas morning apart. The women have light fare, including fruit and toast, delivered to their rooms, while the men enjoy a heartier feast that includes eggs and meat. Kate and William will spend the rest of the day together, though, with the royal family attending services at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene before gathering for a holiday lunch and watching King Charles's annual Christmas speech.

The finished product, which mixed both cool and warm undertones, resulted in a lustrous light burgundy that stole the show against Biel's winter white Elie Saab gown.

"My inspiration for this look actually came from the beautiful dress," Klein told Marie Claire exclusively. "My initial thought was to do a fun pop of pink on the lips. After applying that, it felt a little too ‘spring’ and we wanted to deepen it without it looking too red and ‘old hollywood.' I took it off and applied Nudestix Vino lip pencil with a bright pop of Chanel Rouge Coco Baume in ‘passion pink’ on top. This created a more berry lip which I think suited her and the event perfectly."

While exciting, the lip is only part of a makeup look; credit is also due for the rest of Klein's artistry. On Biel's eyes, she applied a sweep of glittery shadow that also felt extremely holiday-coded, paired with the perfect amount of mascara to make her lashes and green eyes pop.

"I kept the eyes, and the rest of the face, fresh and bright to give the lip the full focus it deserved," the makeup artist added.

Attending the Amazon MGM Studios Winter Wonderland event, the 37-year-old looked right at home amid the greenery in a red satin dress.

Meester's pout was entirely uniform, utilizing a true red, matte shade. While the exact color is a mystery, it's reminiscent of Armani Beauty's Lip Power Long-Lasting Matte Lipstick in the iconic shade "400" or Dior's Rouge Dior Forever Liquid Lipstick in the signature "Forever Dior."

In varying lights, the classic lip showed up a bit differently. But on the red carpet—where you could also get the full effect of the Gossip Girl actress's Silvia Tcherassi gown—the color looked particularly deep and cool-toned.

In true less-is-more fashion, the "Good Girls Go Bad" singer kept the rest of her look simple, with neutral eyeshadow and thick lashes that let her brown eyes shine. It's the perfect look for a holiday movie heroine—and I think Blair would approve as well.

Can we expect to see Camila Cabello featured on Drake's next song, or can we expect to see the two of them kissing under the mistletoe?

That's the question everyone's asking after photos and videos shared on Deuxmoi and Pop Crave showed the two artists talking and hanging out in Turks and Caicos.

26-year-old Cabello can be seen in a black bathing suit, talking to 37-year-old Drake, who is wearing a brightly colored top. There is no footage of them cozying up specifically, but it hasn't been ruled out just yet. Also, the two of them were seen riding jet skis together, and I'm mainly just jealous that I wasn't invited along for this!

The pair were at Turks and Caicos hotspot Noah's Ark Beach Club, which Drake frequently visits, so much so that they put up a billboard of his eighth studio album, "For All the Dogs." Is it a coincidence that Cabello met up with him there, or was she invited for some reason?

As for how the two singers might know each other, Drake followed Cabello on Instagram back in April. Cabello had shared a mirror selfie with Drake's lyrics in the caption, jokingly attributing them to Shakespeare. Look, Drake could've written Romeo & Juliet, but could Shakespeare really have written "God's Plan"?

Cabello has been single since ending things with her on/off boyfriend, Shawn Mendes, back in June, after over two years together. Mendes is also Canadian, so this could suggest that she has a very specific type.

As for Drake, the father of one hasn't been connected with anyone specific recently, but has previously dated big names like Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Rita Ora, Bella Hadid, and Hailey Bieber.

Whether they're just getting to know each other, becoming friends, or testing the waters of something more, I just hope we get a great collaboration out of it!

Prince William and Princess Kate just wanted to share a nice family portrait for their holiday card this year, but eagle-eyed royal fans spoiled the fun for them a little.

As reported by Marie Claire this week, people noticed that poor Prince Louis appeared to be missing a finger in the otherwise lovely portrait, with fans wondering how this alleged blunder could have gone so unnoticed, and accusing the Wales family's photographer of some heavy Photoshop work.

According to a source who spoke to Us Weekly, the Prince and Princess of Wales are "embarrassed" by the incident, and "were as shocked as everyone else" by the fallout.

Obviously, the Christmas card was still lovely and royal fans very much approved of it regardless, and this was really not a big deal. That said, I can understand why the Waleses were potentially a bit shaken by it: They simply aren't used to this happening, with all their family pictures being widely praised (especially ones taken by the princess herself).

By contrast, we're more used to Photoshop fails happening within the Kardashian family, who are always getting called out for slightly shoddy workmanship when it comes to their photo editing.

For example, one can never forget Kim Kardashian's totally out-of-proportion lower leg, her third hand, her non-existen shoulder, or Kourtney Kardashian's six toes.

But where the Kardashians are believed to use photo editing software in order to alter body parts they perhaps don't like so much, it's unlikely that that was the case for the royals—even if they did in fact Photoshop it (which we don't have proof of, by the way).

Jennie Kim (a.k.a. Jennie Ruby Jane, a.k.a. Jennie of Blackpink) has become one of the global fashion community's favorite stars over the past few years. Her collaborations with brands including Chanel (she has been a global ambassador for the luxury house since 2021 and holds the moniker "Human Chanel") and Calvin Klein (she designed a capsule collection earlier this year) have shown her aptitude for fashion and her penchant for folding current trends into her own timeless personal style. The pup must have taken a liking to the shoes, 'cause another pic shows the model and the pup sitting face to face wearing the same footwear. (The stare down definitely gives, "One of us has to change," vibes.) The brand also shared some behind-the-scenes clips from the shoot on Instagram, showing that the singer (who's a dog mom herself, to a Pomeranian named Kuma) has lots of fun with her co-stars.

Hailey’s holiday date-night outfit plays on textures and colors, so the rest of her ensemble is quite simple. She wrapped up the look with black tights, suede black pumps, chunky gold earrings, and her paparazzi-blocker black sunnies. Her glamorous updo and glossy red lip (Could it be… a new Rhode lip-tint shade?) tied the monochromatic outfit together. 

In short, Hailey’s look was glamorous and balanced the grandeur that a holiday party requires with one statement piece. The rest of the look—her mini-dress and black heels—were the epitome of ideal party dressing. Last night, celebrities galore gathered in L.A. to celebrate the wonders of Goop and G.Label—oh, and the holidays, of course!

Gwyneth Paltrow hosted an unforgettable evening for her wellness brand. The stylish actress set the tone in a G.Label by Goop ensemble, which consisted of a black knitted sweater and a long skirt with a slit. Some pearl necklaces added a final chic touch to the look.

Others in attendance were dressed similarly, which makes one very curious about the specific dress code on the invites (mine must have gotten lost in the mail).

Actress and model Laura Harrier opted for a blue top and long black velvet skirt, cinched off with a belt, with a stunning finishing touch of impeccable cat-eye eyeliner.

Other guests included Chelsea Handler, Jennifer Meyer, and Kelly Sawyer. The latter was in a long black dress with bow detailing that almost intentionally matched Paltrow's outfit.

Aside from the gorgeous outfits, it was a night of delicious food, drinks, and a speech by Paltrow herself.

Unfortunately, we haven't seen any photos of Paltrow's daughter, Apple Martin, in attendance, although we have no doubt that she would have rocked the all-black look!

Jennifer Lopez said it best: "One of the great things about the holidays is getting to wear a red lip." Now, she's showing us exactly how she gets hers so plump and perfect—sans any bleeding.

In a new Instagram Reel, the 54-year-old decided to share some festive beauty tips, including her trick to the perfect holiday lip look. Her advice? Use a neutral liner instead of a shade of red before going in with your fiery lipstick.

"Some people think you should do a red lip liner, but I don't love a red lip liner. I feel like it needs to be neutral," the Hustlers actress shared in the Monday, December 11 clip. "It makes the lips look fuller and plumper."

The next step? "Pick your favorite red," JLo advised. "I put it in the middle, as close as I can get, and then I take a lip brush and I detail the corners." "I always draw a little bigger when I do a red lip because you can kind of get away with that," she added, taking the opportunity to plug some JLo Beauty products. "This season is not going to be done without my Beso Balm. This is going to amplify the look. You can really slather this on."

According to JLo, the Beso Balm will keep your lips hydrated and looking plump. I'm one of four girls, so when I was growing up, the feminine energy in my household was very apparent. My sisters now have families of their own, and much to our surprise, they all had boys. Although boys were a little out of my comfort zone, I grew to love them but still missed that feminine energy.
