Two years ago, one dress completely changed my reading game. Dôen collaborated with Kaia Gerber's book club, Library Science, on a babydoll nightgown made for binge-reading sessions. Two years later, the dream duo reunited to romanticize my TBR list with another little white dress.

On June 18, the morning after I finished Tia Williams's new novel, The Missed Connection, Gerber and her co-founder, writer Alyssa Reeder, launched the "dreamy little day dress" I can't wait to start reading my next series in. Library Science teamed up with "our friends at Dôen to support [the global non-profit] Room to Read and their work to champion girls’ literacy," the online book club revealed via Instagram.

According to Dôen's post, the brands designed the '60s-inspired Cordelia Dress with "dreamy summer reading and vacation escapes in mind." Its wider than spaghetti straps, crisp cotton poplin, square neckline, and thigh-high, lace-trimmed hemline make the dress the definition of effortless.

Peach-colored ribbon—intertwined through the embroidered bust—channeled the girlish charm of a vintage nightie. Library Science's logo appeared a few inches south of the torso's vertical pleats, in pale pink to match the neckline's bow. According to the label's notes, the $298 mini can be styled as "an easy daytime dress, a swim cover-up, or a nightgown."

I can see the appeal: They’re low-profile with a pretty rounded toe box, like a ballet flat gone into sport mode. Since ordering a pair last fall, I wear mine almost as frequently as Lawrence does.

But after the 2025 Met Gala, she traded her Bianca Jagger-inspired white suit for a rare Patrick Kelly gown. Not a sequin was out of place atop the floral strapless dress. Even the burgundy feather shawl—another Patrick Kelly pick—appeared spotless.

Arriving coat-less to a holiday party is unheard of (and quite frankly, dangerous) in my midwestern neck of the woods. L.A. girls like Kaia Gerber, however, can curate festive outfits without a single long john in sight. On this 20°F morning in Michigan, I couldn't help but feel jealous of Gerber's sheer skirt set and Gucci bag, which still checked all the seasonal boxes.

The supermodel RSVP'd "yes" to her first December affair: Vas J. Morgan's star-studded get-together in West Hollywood. Since it wasn't your average holiday party (the British reality star rolled out the red carpet, just like on Halloween), Gerber could really push the sartorial boundaries of Christmas styling. Instead of a plaid turtleneck or a velvet cardigan (style director Sara Holzman's December-ready recommendations) a lacy bodysuit served as the foundation of Gerber's look.

In 2025, she pledged loyalty to the Barcelona brand's trousers and leather tote bags. (The Kaia Gerber Effect sold out the $440 Philana Bag back in March.)

This time around, she swapped the Philana for Gucci's Jackie 1961. Its delicious burgundy shade added a subtle splash of merriness to Gerber's noir separates.

"Warm, peppery reds emerged in shows and became conversation-starting blouses at Khaite and Christopher John Rogers, as well as weatherproof parkas at Louis Vuitton and leather trench coats at Gabriela Hearst," Childs reports. Elie Saab even debuted chili flake fur atop a model's hat.

Sure, Gerber is the latest celebrity to channel the trend, but she's certainly not alone. Blake Lively, Selena Gomez, Anne Hathaway, and more have followed the runway's lead. On October 22, West Hollywood's The Sun Rose belonged to Apple TV and Palm Royale's Season 2 premiere. Every A-list actor in the cast RSVP-ed "yes," including Gerber, who's reprising her role as Mitzi. The supermodel-turned-actor looked straight from the 1960s-themed show in a polka dot Dries Van Noten dress. A blend of viscose georgette and silk stretched from the halter-neck, past the open back, to the floor-length hem. Its purple-and-white dots popped against a lemon yellow backdrop.

Instead of your average halter, a contrasting tie-striped scarf wrapped around her neck. Another differing satin strip—in violet and brown stripes—lined the right side of her bodice. The skirt turned subtly sheer around Gerber's knees. Stark white sandals complemented her gown, possibly inspired by the show's Palm Beach, Florida, setting.

The '90s-style, deep French manicure has been taking over my social media pages in the last few weeks, but Kaia Gerber just reminded me once again that there's never just one way to wear a French mani. During a recent outing with her boyfriend in Italy, the model and actor wore the classic nail design with a modern update that involves a tip so thin I had to zoom in to see it, and I'm officially counting down the days until I can show it to my nail tech as inspiration at my next appointment.

Along with a decent portion of Hollywood at the moment, Gerber has spent the last few days in Italy for the 82nd Venice International Film Festival. The 2025 Venice Film Festival is keeping me on my toes. In less than a week, Amanda Seyfried borrowed Julia Roberts's Versace suit; Ayo Edebiri debuted Mathieu Blazy's Chanel; and a Givenchy-clad Kaia Gerber hard-launched her relationship with Lewis Pullman.
