Lively attended a party celebrating Fendi's Baguette 26424 line, in her first public appearance since the 2026 Met Gala. (So much for spotting her on a trip to Trader Joe's.) This time, not a single slash, rhinestone, or appliqué decorated Blake Lively's jeans. Even the ankle-grazing hems were tailored to perfection. Lively matched her denim's streamlined silhouette to an equally-skintight tank top and pointy, patent leather pumps.

Lively's maximalist tendencies didn't return in her outerwear, either. Instead, she kept things neutral with the most tasteful of trench coats. It was everything a minimalist would require from a springtime trench: cool-toned and khaki, slightly oversize, and lightweight. The actor draped the belted coat over her shoulders, a subtle move that emphasized its sleek lapels, epaulette-less sleeves, and single-breasted buttons.

Spring 2026's street style scene hosts just as many black jeans as it does ivory, you just have to search a little harder. Maude Apatow skipped sky-blue as early as April 9, when she, like Lively, paired her black barrel-leg jeans with a matching top.

As bobs continue to trend in 2026, experts are predicting that the hydro bob in particular will be among one of the most requested styles of the year—and they're not very far off, considering it's been popping up everywhere in recent months. Shortly after Sydney Sweeney got rid of her long hair in favor of a bob, she wore an edgy, wet bob to GQ's Men of the Year event back in November. Demi Moore, who made a surprise switch to a chin-length bob during Milan Fashion Week, was spotted on the front row at Gucci at the time rocking the stringy, wet look, as did Zendaya when she attended the Euphoria season three premiere earlier this month. According to celebrity hairstylist, Gregory Patterson, the hydro bob features "long, soft, wispy" layers, and it "comes alive more in how it's styled."

The forecast rarely dips below 70° anymore, but I'm still layering up like spring hasn't sprung. Always-cold people can be fashion girls, too. In a season where stars style slip dresses, graphic tees, and not much else, I found Margot Robbie's extra-layered look on April 21 so refreshing.

Perhaps Robbie heard through the grapevine that the AC was on blast inside luxury home brand RH Milan's gallery opening. With that many layers, Robbie knew not to over-accessorize her tailoring. Plus, she didn't have to. Armani's burgundy, gold-buckle belt tied the red-and-gray color combination together in a neat, '90s-inspired bow. It was also the main character in Armani's Fall 2026 show, despite being a rising color trend for Spring 2026.

Robbie's suede shoes were another leading motif in the March 1 show. At first, the plum flats seemed to boast the curved toe-boxes of sleek ballet sneakers. However, other angles revealed they're actually lace-up Oxfords.

Robbie and I are nurturing our cold-girl conditions this spring, one layered spring outfit at a time. Just last week, she boarded a boat in St. Tropez in a brown crewneck, her favorite leather bomber jacket, cuffed jeans, and suede loafers. Meanwhile, I bundled up for date night with my fiancé in almost-identical, early-spring styles (minus the yacht). I can confidently say neither of us shivered once.

Before I took off, I assembled my packing list using a few VIPs and their favorite travel shoes as my guide. Celebrity airport outfits are a tricky genre: Sometimes, stars are really just like us in a matching sweatsuit, sneakers, and a big ’ol underseat tote bag. Other times, they make choices that feel…interesting for, say, standing in the security line. I got dressed for my 7-hour flight—plus the sightseeing that would immediately follow—compelled to defend the honor of a travel shoe that usually falls in the second group: the mesh flat.

The Mesh Ballet Flats Trend

I can vividly remember the first paparazzi shot I saw of Jennifer Lawrence walking around Manhattan, toes out, in Alaïa’s mesh flats. A few years later, pedicure-forward footwear isn’t as much of a jump scare as it used to be. Everybody seems to agree mesh flats are just a cousin to a chic sandal—until the airport gets involved. Then, mesh flats are once again labeled “controversial.” That’s the word I saw thrown around online when Margot Robbie recently wore a flesh-toned Alaïa pair for her flight out of Sydney, anyway.

Honestly? I think the naysayers might want to reconsider with spring and summer travel on the horizon. If updated security guidelines say you don’t have to take your shoes off anyway, why not go for a comfy flat that can fashion-ify oversize, plane-friendly basics, like Robbie’s shorts and long-sleeve tee? And if you’re squeamish about all that foot exposure, you can always layer a coordinating sock underneath à la Selena Gomez for some texture play. How I Style It

My dream was to recreate Robbie’s outfit with the exact same shorts—but they’re long sold out, and I get pretty chilly on flights. Instead, I decided to bring the party-pajama energy, and a needed pop of color, with relaxed satin pants and a few layering basics. (And yes, I packed compression socks in my carry-on bag. As much as I’ve come around to the look of a mesh flat, I’m not keeping my feet out for the whole flight.) This way, my mesh flats functioned like an elevated travel slipper—one that transitioned easily to sightseeing.

For the rest of the trip, I’m staying true to the last edition’s word and wearing my ballet sneakers—for the most part. At dinner, I’m fine with showing a little toe alongside a textured matching set and a leather jacket. (Temps are expected to reach the 70s during the day while I’m in town.) The contrast between heavy-duty leather and these little mesh flats is *chef’s kiss.*

Earlier this month, Margot Robbie swapped an Oscars gown for a budget-friendly outfit featuring a "controversial" color combination. On March 28, the Barbie star rewore the very same outfit, this time elevating the affordable look with the much-coveted Chanel 25 Mini Bag.

On Saturday, Robbie was photographed arriving at The Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood, California. For the occasion, the Wuthering Heights actress rewore her With Jéan Luca Dress, which retails for just $238, and her Khaite Clive Black Leather Boots. Margot Robbie might be the only fashion girl wearing pre-Matthieu Blazy Chanel this week. The new creative director's debut collection hit stores on March 13, causing absolute chaos among industry folk. But Robbie isn't letting the Blazy craze stop her from using her favorite Chanel Flap bag.

On March 20, Robbie wore a rare Chanel bag to elevate a simple two-piece linen set in an instant. The Oscar nominee layered a black tank beneath a beige vest and matching, wide-leg trousers. The brands behind her business casual three-piece remain a mystery, but I'd recognize her handbag anywhere.

Chanel's 2017-era Double Flap was instantly recognizable, with its signature leather-and-chainlink shoulder strap and famous flap silhouette. This style, however, differed from most Chanel bags on the market, with its distinct, quilt-free, pebbled leather outer.

Though Robbie's bag debuted long before Blazy's time at the heritage leather goods label, smooth fabrics like these are synonymous with his newly-released Chanel bags. The French maison no longer sells Robbie's particular style, but it's shoppable on the secondhand market for upwards of $13,000.

The grain leather creation first debuted on Robbie's shoulder last August—about a month before Blazy made his case for non-quilted Chanel bags. Its exterior looked matched the actor's all-black athleisure look, consisting of a cropped tank top, cardigan, and high-rise Alo leggings.

If Paris Fashion Week had an official hairstyle, it would undoubtedly be the bob. It seems like nearly every celebrity decided at once to chop off several inches of hair and reveal shorter, chin-length styles at the very end of fashion month, so I shouldn't even be shocked that Margot Robbie ended up being next to hop on that train.

Robbie is currently overseas for Paris Fashion Week, and on March 9, the actress appeared at the Chanel runway show at Grand Palais, where she wore a sheer, white tank top along with baggy blue jeans and black, pointed-toe pumps. While her outfit was laidback and casual, I can't say the same for her hair at all. If you can recall, Robbie kicked off the Wuthering Heights press tour wearing a dreamy hairstyle featuring long, romantic waves, but for fashion week, she decided to forgo the long hair and instead wear a wavy bob with choppy blunt bangs.

It's not clear which celebrity hairstylist is responsible for Robbie's chic new cut, but the likelihood that her go-to hairstylist, Bryce Scarlett, is behind it is pretty high.

While the bob has been trending since last year, this week in particular has been a pretty big one for the cropped cut now that a handful of celebrities have stepped out in Paris wearing shorter hairstyles, fake or otherwise. Chappell Roan, for example, appeared at the Acne Studios show last week with her curly red hair, which she usually wears down her back, tucked under into a faux bob. Bella Hadid also may or may not have joined the cunty little bob club, as she was spotted out with seemingly shorter hair just days before that (she was wearing a fur-lined cardigan at the time, so it could be that her hair looked shorter because it was tucked in).

Some celebs have also traded in their bobs for longer hairstyles recently, but the bob is still here to stay. In fact, hair experts are predicting that they're only set to get shorter and chicer come the official start of spring. The French bob in particular is the style that hairstylist and Ghd educator, Akela Douglass, says will be on plenty of people's mood boards this season, which is fitting, given all of the bobs that have popped up in Paris in the last week alone.

“The French bob taps into fashion’s ongoing love affair with effortless Parisian style,” she previously told MC. “It’s polished, but never precious.”

Emerald Fennell has repeatedly described “Wuthering Heights” not as a direct adaptation of Emily Brontë's gothic classic, but as her 14-year-old self’s interpretation of it. Rather than bringing both halves of the novel, in all its density, to the screen, she focused on what kept her glued to the page (and turned on) as a teenager: the complicated romance and retribution between Catherine and Heathcliff.

At every turn, the blockbuster romance, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, unfolds like a teen’s bodice-ripper fantasia: There’s an anachronistic avant-pop soundtrack from Charli xcx, fairy-tale-like costumes, restrained kisses in the rain. And lots and lots of ribbons.

The feminine accessories aren’t just pretty to look at; they are a deliberate tie-in to Fennell’s interpretation of the source material. In the film, ribbons, bows, and braids, inherently synonymous with girlhood, come to symbolize how the things that frighten and awaken our sexuality in our youth shouldn’t be suppressed.

It’s Alison Olivier’s character, Isabella, in particular, whose journey embodies the symbolism behind the ribbons. At her residence, Thushcross Grange, the wealthy, sheltered young woman spends her days in a room dedicated to sashes and bows, making creations like dolls crafted from human hair. While her proclivities may make her appear naive, her girlishness ultimately comes to represent her own self-discovery and how she revels in control.

Siân Miller (who previously collaborated with Fennell on Saltburn) came on board, she was thrilled to find a character obsessed with ribbonry. “She’s an expert in her confinement,” Miller tells Marie Claire of Isabella. “But what's incredible is that sort of childlike innocence for her age. She’s very little-princess-like.”

That youthfulness informed Miller’s artistic direction. “It really turned into, Okay, what we want to do is try to show something where Cathy is Isabella's doll,” she explains. (In terms of inspiration, Miller says Fennell came prepared with extensive mood boards; while Miller looked to Pinterest references of Old Hollywood and historical paintings of Lovelock hairstyles.)

Miller describes Isabella as being about “administering a sense of control.” So it’s by design that Isabella becomes the character who brings the kink. When she and Heathcliffe elope, and she consents to his requests of dominance and submission, Miller notes that “you see her blossoming as a woman.”

“You see this part of her that's emerging—that's just been woken up. As alarming as it might be to some people in the audience, it is coming from her,” Miller continues. “It’s very interesting to see that transformation from somebody who appeared so quintessentially dressed up like a child-like, young woman.”

In the second part of Isabella’s arc, her hair is now worn loose, but bows and rosettes still line her gowns. Oliver plays the character like she’s constantly frothing at the mouth, eager for something more, but she’s still the woman with the ribbon room in these fetishistic scenes; she’s just now allowed herself to come undone.

“Wuthering Heights” is simply the latest chapter in the recent proliferation of bows and conversations about the reclaiming of girlhood in pop culture and fashion. The discourse perhaps last reached a fever pitch when Robbie’s last major blockbuster produced under her LuckyChap banner, Barbie, hit theaters in summer 2023. But Fennell’s ribbons are less about reclamation than motifs to unravel—and ones that fit into the cultural/stylistic moment that’s proven here to stay in its own way. They speak to how closely innocence and danger can coexist, especially for young women coming into their own, like they’re bound together in a tight knot. It’s perhaps what Fennell felt at 14, and how she’s looking back on that moment with new eyes in the form of her latest film—all tied up in a bow.

Right now, New York-based fashion girls are watching the 20th inch of snow cover Central Park, wondering when (if ever) spring will come. Emotionally, we're more than ready to break out flowy, relaxed Bermuda shorts seen on Fashion Month's recent Fall 2026 runways. In reality, bottoms this shape are better suited for below-the-equator front-row regulars, like Margot Robbie in Australia on February 22. (That is, until the snow melts.)

Once stylist Andrew Mukamal posted an Instagram carousel of every Wuthering Heights press tour look, fans assumed Robbie would return to street style hiding. On the contrary: She walked the Sydney TropFest red carpet in a naked Chanel dress on February 22. Hours later at the airport, she absorbed the last bits of her home country's summer in the same Fall 2026 trend on NYC editors' minds: Bermuda shorts.

Robbie sourced Australian label Beare Park for a black $110 Crew Neck and $307 Carmen Shorts, featuring wide legs for maximum in-flight comfort. A ribbed collar and elasticized waistband were the only features that actually hugged her body. Otherwise, the rest—including oversize bell sleeves and basketball-like legs—suspended in mid-air. In fact, Robbie's gown featured on the fashion house's Spring/Summer 2026 Haute Couture runway and was the perfect choice to give the Barbie actress a naked dress moment.

The centerpiece of Robbie's outfit was a totally sheer black organza dress, which featured a hemline adorned with pearls and crystals, as well as a thorny pattern surrounding the neckline. Underneath her naked dress, Robbie wore black Chanel underwear, including a bra and a pair of lingerie shorts, both delicately embroidered with a floral design.

For footwear, the actress and producer opted for a pair of black Chanel Couture Pumps, also from the Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Robbie carried a pale pink organza bag—the sheer material revealed an embroidered handwritten note inside—featuring a threaded woven chain handle.

The evening after her final Wuthering Heights premiere, Robbie scored an invite to Vogue Australia's Summer Ball, in Sydney, Australia. Stylist Andrew Mukamal kept the press tour's gothic, Victorian glamour going with a custom recreation of the industry's most famous scarf-turned-dress. Marking her punkiest pick yet (even more so than her low-rise Dilara Findikoglu jeans), Mukamal outfitted her in a sheer, chiffon dress, featuring white skulls against a black base. The entire spaghetti-strap slip was transparent. Even its asymmetrical skirt revealed matching, low-slung underwear beneath the pirate-y print.

Robbie raised the skull motif from Alexander McQueen's extensive archives. The house code made its runway debut as a scarf during the Spring 2003 show, tied around a thick buccaneer belt on a model's white skinny jeans. McQueen made the scarf black with white skulls in assorted sizes, just like Robbie's slip. It wasn't until a special June 2004 runway show that the skull print returned in maxi dress form.

Though Alexander McQueen's "Black" show was outside the typical London Fashion Week schedule, the skull-printed dress ensured it made fashion history. Kate Moss posed on the all-black catwalk in an almost-identical slip to Robbie's. The scoop neckline, asymmetrical skirt, and every element in between seemed to be see-through, once again. By Jan. 2025, the black-and-white wrap popped back up on Timothée Chalamet in a Saturday Night Live promo, over an equally-grunge leather jacket. A few months later, Charli xcx used a burgundy skull scarf as a prop during her 2025 Glastonbury performance. Turns out, both stars were teasing new creative director Seán McGirr's Fall 2025 line, which reintroduced Alexander McQueen skulls atop a white-and-green chiffon blouse.

Skip ahead to Dec. 2025's Fashion Awards in London, when model Alex Consani maximized the skull print's revival in custom Alexander McQueen. Ruched black chiffon—stamped with crimson red skulls—stretched from her strapless bustier, beyond the slashed waist cutout, to the asymmetrical skirt's tiered hem. The cherry on top of the already-viral cake was McGirr himself as her plus-one.

Neither secondhand shopping skills nor an in with McGirr are required to shop the skull scarf's revival. The Y2K hero piece is available for under $400. However, the street style stars of yesteryear rarely stopped at just one skull-topped piece. So while Margot Robbie's custom skull dress was her first, it may not be her last.

Instead of announcing Rhode's migration to Australia via Instagram Stories, Hailey Bieber booked a flight down under to celebrate in person. Even so, Bieber's stops weren't limited to Sephora stores. On February 11, the founder put on her fashion girl hat for Sydney's Wuthering Heights premiere. Since she wasn't in business-mode, Bieber felt free to naked dress to the nines.

As Margot Robbie ended her worldwide press tour with one final, Cathy-coded corset, Bieber dropped in for her first premiere in six years ready to dress the part in Saint Laurent. The all-black selects marked her nakedest dress since the whale-tail Gucci slip at November's 2025 GQ Men of the Year party.

Saint Laurent crafted the entire look from partially-transparent, Chantilly lace, beginning with a plunging, triangular bralette. Naked dressing—or naked-adjacent elements—have been Bieber's calling cards long before Robbie's Wuthering Heights rounds began. Just two weeks ago at the 2026 Grammys, she styled a strapless Alaïa shift with sheer panels atop each hip.

Marie Claire interrupts your New York Fashion Week coverage with breaking news from down under: After a six day hiatus, Margot Robbie's Wuthering Heights press tour resumed in her homeland, Australia. On February 12, before a single New Yorker's alarm buzzed, Robbie delivered the ultimate homecoming in a custom Ashi Studio gown.

It's rare for a press tour—especially one led by Robbie—to go a full week without red carpet events. The leading lady's last step-and-repeat was in London, where she went method in a Dilara Findikoglu dress made of hair. Perhaps she was just conserving energy for her hometown visit.

Barbie's press tour was to pink as Wuthering Heights is to corsets, so once again, a bustier stole the show in Sydney. Stylist Andrew Mukamal curated the actor's look around a strapless, Ashi Studio Spring 2026 Couture corset, featuring cascading hook-and-eyes, a lace-trimmed neckline, and discolored ivory silk. Altogether, it channeled the rain-soaked undergarments of Robbie's Cathy, following a not-so discreet make-out sesh in the English moors. "The bodice is hand-painted to appear centuries old," Ashi Studio shared on Instagram. From there, the rest turned custom.

On the two-week-old Ashi Studio catwalk, Robbie's corset debuted as a top, alongside a knee-length skirt made from tiered beige lace. Mukamal and Robbie enlisted the help of Saudi Arabian couturier Mohammed Ashi to reimagine the bustier's base as a semi-sheer, off-the-shoulder gown.

Like corsets, intricately-beaded chokers have become a calling card for Robbie's Wuthering Heights run. This time, Lorraine Schwartz fused chainmail's inch-wide, yellow gold foundation together with charcoal silver borders. Compared to the Paris premiere's red velvet choker—also created by Lorraine Schwartz—the color combination read more melancholy, perhaps inspired by the end of Wuthering Heights. (Rumor has it, Australia is the press tour's final stop.)

If the rumors are true (the film does hit theaters tonight), it's only right Robbie bid farewell to Wuthering Heights in another Cathy-coded corset. The silhouette has been her character's mainstay from page to screen and beyond. Since late January, Robbie's worn at least nine corset-centric looks, including L.A.'s Schiaparelli gown, Paris's Thom Browne after-party set, and London's naked Findikoglu number.

Why it’s worth seeing: This Sundance darling is already getting Oscar buzz. "After 8-year-old Josephine (Reeves) accidentally witnesses a crime in Golden Gate Park, she acts out in search of a way to regain control of her safety while adults are helpless to console her," reads the Sundance logline.

Take a peek at Margot Robbie's updo, and it feels restrained—until you clock it from every angle and realize it's basically architecture. For the London premiere of Wuthering Heights, the actress stepped out in a custom, sculptural Dilara Findikoglu gown (equal parts gothic romance and modern couture), and her hair matched the mood perfectly: a soft, twisted low bun created by her go-to hairstylist, Bryce Scarlett.

From the front, it reads polished and almost regal, thanks to its smooth, pulled-back styling and delicate, face-framing tendrils. But from the back, the style reveals its real magic: a rope-like twist with intricate details that folds into itself. And in a detail that makes the bun even more on-theme, Findikoglu revealed that the dress was inspired by Victorian mourning hair details, with braided "hair" elements woven into the gown—right down to a replica bracelet inspired by Emily Brontë's actual hair. (Yes, really.)

Of course, it helps that the Wuthering Heights hype is already doing the most. Between the Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi lore (maybe it's PR, maybe it's not—either way, it's working) and the fact that this is one of those adaptations set to have people talking. Robbie, for her part, is leaning all the way into the period romance with her method dressing and glam.

Her makeup, done by Pati Dubroff, kept things soft and romantic: rosy cheeks, a muted lip, and a champagne wash on the eye with minimal mascara and no deep liner. Nothing fought for attention; it simply let the hair and dress shine. The overall effect was gothic romance, translated for 2026. It's polished, but with just enough wispiness to lean modern and not costume.

And while most of us don't have a top-tier celebrity hairstylist on speed dial, the good news is that this kind of glam is surprisingly easy to borrow. Keep the bun low—or, if you're really feeling it, create a few twists—and leave a couple of fine, curled tendrils out around the face. Just one month into the year, a new class of celebrity-approved 2026 denim trends is already dominating the street style scene. One look, and I know they each deserve a spot in my denim drawer, too. This week alone, Margot Robbie and Hailey Bieber showcased both ends of the 2026 denim spectrum, beginning with Bieber's take on the cigarette jeans trend. With her baggy Gap jeans firmly in retirement, the Rhode founder wore Levi’s Ribcage Ankle-Length Jeans; a pair equal parts clean-cut and slim.

The next day, Robbie switched gears with a rockstar-chic, low-rise pair. Only she could debut a velvet Chanel ballgown and Dilara Findikoglu jeans in the same Wuthering Heights press tour. Her black, buckle-heavy pair looked straight out of a London girl's closet, especially alongside a brocade corset.

If anyone can influence me to expand my denim horizons, it's Robbie, Bieber, and the It girls below. I don't know about you, but I'm feeling more confident than ever entering a dressing room with an armful of options. Bella Hadid's White Jeans

Once Bella Hadid emerged on Jan. 1 in white jeans, I wasted no time pulling mine out of retirement. Before then, I blissfully followed the "no white after Labor Day" rule, but the supermodel's Frame pair proved the right accessories can winterize them with ease. A black leather jacket and matching boots bookended the jeans in cool-girl charm; a set I copied right away on Jan. 2.

Hadid's not the only A-lister breaking the white jeans rules. Last November, Sienna Miller styled an almost-identical pair of white jeans with black shoes. That same month, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley re-wore her go-to Phoebe Philo jeans with (you guessed it) black heels. You're sensing the pattern here, right?

Amanda Seyfried's Two-Tone Jeans

Right in line with the '80s resurgence during Spring 2026 runway shows, Amanda Seyfried modernized the decade's two-tone jeans trend on Jan. 13. (It seems she's picking up where Katie Holmes and Jennifer Aniston left off last summer, although in more streamlined shades.) The actor's indigo and sky blue pair boasted vintage Silver Jeans tags. Similar combinations are shoppable in multiple washes. I'm especially drawn to Citizens of Humanity's pair, which is almost identical to Seyfried's.

Jennifer Lopez's Mid-Wash Jeans

When celebrities like Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Bieber, and Selena Gomez wore dark, almost black jeans to trend status last year, I followed suit. (Obviously.) Now, denim is becoming less indigo and more sky blue. Jennifer Lopez's Dior jeans on Jan. 14 were my blueprint for curating the edit below, minus the $1,700 price tag.

Jennifer Lawrence's Puddle Jeans

When Jennifer Lawrence arrived at Paris Couture Week, I imagined she'd sit in Dior's front row dressed in her most dramatic gown since the 2026 Golden Globes. On the contrary: She sourced her own It-girl street style as inspiration, as evidenced by her ultra-wide-leg Dior jeans on Jan. 26.

She dressed down the light-wash pair even further with a white tank top, layered beneath a fur-trimmed coat from the Dior Men Fall 2026 show. With the trend cycle heavily favoring slimmed-down jeans, it's a wonder Lawrence is leaning so wide. Knowing the brand ambassador, she's taking cues straight from Jonathan Anderson's Dior. His jeans got baggier as the Spring 2026 show went on: see Look 69's ripply pair, beneath a backwards blazer.

Rihanna's Baggy Straight-Leg Jeans

I didn't see this one coming: Rihanna is officially a straight-leg stan, but not the cigarette style in Bieber's collection. RiRi's jeans on Jan. 19 combined the baggy waistband of wide-legs with slightly slimmer legs, giving her Alaïa tiger-print pumps a proper close-up. (Usually, her choice of footwear remains hidden beneath a never-ending hem.)

A day later, Kendall Jenner popped up in the Khaite equivalent of her Celine jeans, featuring equally-slim legs on a slightly darker wash. By Feb. 1, Margot Robbie got the memo and found jeans that fit the bill, courtesy of Chanel's Métiers d'Art Spring 2026 line.

Hailey Bieber's Cigarette Jeans

Named "a slim-but-not-totally-skinny Goldilocks style," by Marie Claire's fashion features editor, Emma Childs, the cigarette jeans trend already has celebrities addicted. Bieber's jeans started to slim around her November birthday, but none were quite as cigarette-like as her Levi's on February 3. Knowing the model, her switch was inspired by Spring 2026 styles from Dior, Balenciaga, Khaite, and more, which debuted during her Gap jeans' reign last September.

Margot Robbie's Low-Rise Jeans

I expected to see Victorian-era corsets, rich red gowns, and archival pulls during the Wuthering Heights press tour, but jeans? Stylist Andrew Mukamal's curveball paid off on Feb. 4. Dilara Findikoglou's Rushing Hour Jeans ditched Robbie's signature high-rise waistband for something much more risqué: flared, super-low legs decorated in leather buckles.

Jeans slung this low are so bold for Robbie, the only logical explanation is she was influenced by Spring 2026 styles. Alexander McQueen, Vetements, Dior, and more slashed the waistband clean off of their denim, causing them to droop lower than ever.

If Charli xcx had televised her July 2025 wedding, British royal family-style, I imagine it would've looked something like the London premiere of Wuthering Heights.

Please rise for the showing of Charli xcx's custom Erdem gown inside the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on February 5. Marking quite the dramatic shift from her actual wedding dress (a Vivienne Westwood mini), the Grammy winner posed in an off-the-shoulder ballgown, crafted entirely from chantilly lace. It wasn't black or neon green, and yet, she looked every bit a brat-zilla bride. Maybe it was the distressed black embroidery atop her bust—or threads dangling down her silhouette—that grounded the powder pink fabric in brat-ism.

Adding to the aisle-ready allure, Charli's stylist, Chris Horan, crowned her bombshell blowout with a carpet-grazing veil. The almost-pink curtain softened the gown with a haunting fog only rivaled by the English moors. At the same time, it almost made us miss the skirt's delicate drapery atop her hips.

Her husband, The 1975's drummer George Daniel, didn't walk the red carpet with his pop star wife. That said, it seems Charli's choice of wedding-wear was less about reliving her bridal days, and more a form of method dressing. (Clearly, method dresser Margot Robbie is leaving a mark on her.)

Five weddings take place during Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights novel, including one with Robbie's Cathy Earnshaw seen in the trailer. Perhaps Charli was inspired by the actor's elongated veil and off-the-shoulder wedding gown for the film adaptation.

Just like Cathy around the trailer's 50-second mark, Charli kept her décolletage free of a necklace. Instead, sapphire and diamond drop earrings from London label Barron peeked out beneath the frothy veil.

Last July, Charli said "I do" with a veil attached to her hair, though it wasn't nearly as extravagant as her Erdem version. She was spotted outside London's Hackney Town Hall in Vivienne Westwood's corseted Nova Cora Dress: a $5,010, off-the-shoulder mini delicately draped from ivory satin.

The "365" singer's veil also hailed from Vivienne Westwood's catalog, a perfect pick for a London girl-turned-bride. However, it had been altered to stop around her thighs. It also wasn't a blusher veil—Charli's shield-like sunglasses covered her face enough.

Charli got hitched to Daniel again last September in Sicily, dressed in a custom, slip-inspired Danielle Frankel gown. Since she walked down that Italian aisle veil-less, maybe she's making up for it with her London Wuthering Heights look. Either way, "everything is romantic" about this moment.

Fashion houses far and wide jumped at the chance to create something custom for Margot Robbie's Wuthering Heights press tour. So far, Schiaparelli, Chanel, and Thom Browne debuted ballgowns and cinched corsets on par with the novel's themes of forbidden love and restrained passion. But on February 5, Dilara Findikoglu's braided naked dress stripped it back, featuring major ties to the film's biggest themes.

Since Emily Brontë's 1847 novel takes place on the moody English moors, stylist Andrew Mukamal knew to pull out all the stops at the London premiere. He tapped Turkish designer—and naked dress extraordinaire—Dilara Findikoglu to craft a lingerie-inspired gown for Robbie. Like most of Findikoglu's naked designs, an elongated, bone-in corset served as the Victorian-coded foundation, before tulle turned it into a nude, floor-length number.

It was the most streamlined bustier of Robbie's press tour so far, which has included velvet, brocade, and lace decorated corsets from Chanel, Roberto Cavalli, and Thom Browne, respectively. Findikoglu's braided embellishments, on the other hand, added visual, method-inspired interest on top.

Step aside, Schiaparelli hair neckties. Robbie's London red carpet look said we're wearing hair all over now. Braids so dark blonde they're almost green—featuring a subtle, freshly-washed sheen—outlined the skintight silhouette, beginning in a trio of knots along the dress's halter neck. Once the hair reached the corset's lace-lined empire waist, plaits crisscrossed atop her bodice and fanned out like feathers around each off-the-shoulder strap. Strands cascaded down the corset's hip-hugging boning, where the décolletage's knots returned. Braids intersected again, this time as if they were ropes around Robbie's calves.

Who needs jewelry when you have glossy braids adorning your body from top to bottom? Even so, Robbie couldn't resist bespoke garnet, diamond, and pearl earrings from Jessica McCormack, the same jeweler behind Zendaya's engagement ring.

The ruffled choker—Robbie's fifth for Wuthering Heights—hailed from Findikoglu's studios. Zoom in to see the same green-ish hair woven like a picnic basket between the tulle trim. Meanwhile, Boucheron's archives loaned Robbie a circa-1920 brooch tacked to her choker, which matched the 126-year-old pin atop her neckline.

What's more, Robbie's blink-and-you'll-miss-it bracelet actually belonged to Emily Brontë's sister, Charlotte. It was a replica of a bracelet crafted from Emily and Anne Brontë’s hair, as was custom in Victorian mourning jewelry at the time.

Why the braids, you ask? Early screenings of Emerald Fennel's adaptation report Robbie's Cathy puts ribbons in her pleated hair for many of the standout scenes. (The trailer teased this consistent motif around the two-minute mark.) Marie Claire's senior fashion news editor, Halie LeSavage, (who's seen the "bodice-ripping crowd-pleaser") says the use of braids and corsetry "reference both Cathy and Heathcliff having to show restraint" throughout the story.

You'll have to wait until February 13 to appreciate it on the silver screen, but expect similar styling—both in and out of Robbie's hair—during future press stops.

Margot Robbie isn't letting us breathe on the Wuthering Heights press tour. By the time we process her last red carpet look (say, her custom Chanel by Matthieu Blazy ballgown in Paris), she returns to Getty Images in an even more impressive pull. On February 4, she outdid herself with a 33-year-old archival coat in London.Robbie and stylist Andrew Mukamal are giving Barbie a run for her money right now: Catherine Earnshaw's looks prove she's just as much a character to watch.

Since the third Wuthering Heights stop took Robbie to London, it was only right she source a British designer's archives. The lucky label? John Galliano. To be more specific, his eponymous label's Spring 1992 runway show. Robbie was unmissable at Westminster's Spencer House in one of the line's most risqué sets: a brocade, red carpet-grazing coat replaced any semblance of a traditional top. Somehow, the pastel green robe married the pale pink shearling collars and cuffs of the Penny Lane trend with the traditional garnish of Victorian bodices. Given Galliano's affinity for avant-garde lingerie, it's no surprise hook-and-eye closures kept it from bursting open.

The coat would've been grand enough, but Robbie doesn't cut corners. She and Mukamal tracked down the rest of the runway look, including the low-rise black mini skirt. Matching garters extended beyond her skirt's thigh-high hem, before grasping semi-sheer stockings.

Robbie's over-the-knee socks were the same vibrant shade of crimson seen on the “Napoleon and Joséphine” catwalk. ("Red is a key color for Cathy throughout the film," costume designer Jacqueline Durran told Vogue.) Plus, Mukamal tied pale pink ribbons around each thigh, as demonstrated on the model. Robbie's only major switch? The Oscar nominee slipped on custom Manolo Blahnik Carolyne Slingback Pumps, in lieu of the Spring 1992 mules.

Fashion historians like Mukamal often mine Galliano's pre-Dior work for red carpets. His eponymous label opened its doors in 1984, before making his Paris Fashion Week debut in 1989.

The designer's Spring 1992 collection drew inspiration from Joséphine de Beauharnais, Napoleon Bonaparte's first wife and first Empress of the French from 1804 to 1809. His collection was a rather loose interpretation of the 19th century fashion Beauharnais wore in her lifetime: Models flaunted sheer bias-cut slips, peekaboo underwear, undone suiting, and distressed lingerie, accessorized by tricorn soldier's hats and feather boas.

Sprinkles of Galliano's signatures appear in the Spring 1992 line, including punk patterns, weightless chiffon, and underwear-as-outerwear. He brought this playful approach to undergarment reconstruction with him to Dior. See Carla Bruni in a transparent bodysuit during his 1997 debut Dior Haute Couture show for proof.

Perhaps by picking this Spring 1992 look, Robbie is telling Wuthering Heights readers to expect a NSFW retelling of Emily Brönte's 1847 novel in this adaptation. So far, early reviews hint the film is a real "bodice-ripper."

What comes to mind when you recall Margot Robbie's Barbie press tour? For me, it's her looks beyond the red carpet: Each barely-photographed pick, posted on Instagram, helped define what made Robbie's Barbie, Barbie. Now, while promoting Wuthering Heights, her Cathy-coded after-party attire is following the same formula. See Robbie's corseted little black dress on February 2 for proof.

Paris, her press tour's current stop, greatly influenced Monday's romantic wardrobe. It all started with the most luscious velvet ballgown, courtesy of Chanel's Matthieu Blazy. Once photographers captured every angle of its curtain-like drapery at the Wuthering Heights premiere, Robbie slipped into something more comfortable, but equally method. Stylist Andrew Mukamal pulled a corset mini dress from Robbie's press tour rack, which could've been the base layer beneath her bespoke Chanel gown.

The off-the-shoulder mini boasted various lingerie-inspired elements you might see in Emerald Fennell's Wuthering Heights. For instance, black floral lace along the cap sleeves, bustier, and pleated peplum. Monochrome lacing crisscrossed down the bodice's center, beyond the peplum waist, and onto the dress's thigh-grazing skirt.

Earlier in the evening, Robbie accessorized her Chanel ballgown with a custom, 100-carat diamond choker, courtesy of Lorraine Schwartz Jewelry. Perhaps its velvet garnish inspired her second necklace of the night: a slightly wider black choker.

Jessica McCormack—the British jeweler behind Zendaya's engagement ring—frosted it with pear and circle-shaped diamonds, featuring her signature button-back setting. Dakota Johnson, Jennifer Lawrence, and Zoë Kravitz adore the blackened trademark, too. It reappeared on Robbie's heart-shaped, diamond drop earrings, also from McCormack. They were custom, of course, but similar styles would set you back $630,000.

Vivienne Westwood's sky-high, patent leather Court Pumps suggested Robbie's LBD also hailed from the mind of creative director Andreas Kronthaler. However, as of pub time, the designer had yet to come forward.

The Wuthering Heights after parties are already ones for the look book. Last week, after the L.A. premiere, Robbie traded her Schiaparelli trumpet gown for a vintage Roberto Cavalli corset dress, circa-Fall 2004. What's more, Mukamal tracked down a matching Manolo Blahnik handbag, embroidered with lookalike red and gold brocade seen on her 22-year-old mini.

All this to say? The next time Robbie graces a Wuthering Heights red carpet (which could be any minute now), stay tuned for a stellar post-premiere look to boot.

It wasn't a question of if Chanel would play a part in Margot Robbie's Wuthering Heights press tour, but when. On February 2, the actress finally brought gothic, Victorian-era glamour to the film's Paris premiere, dressed in a custom Chanel ballgown from the mind of Matthieu Blazy.

Mere hours after styling Hailey Bieber at the 2026 Grammys, Andrew Mukamal reunited with Robbie inside Le Grand Rex, a few miles north of the last week's Chanel Couture Spring 2026 show at the Grand Palais. The Barbie duo couldn't make it to Blazy's debut couture show, because the Wuthering Heights L.A. premiere was hours away. Tonight, they made up for it in spades.

The bespoke burgundy ballgown marked Robbie's first time wearing custom Chanel by the house's new creative director on any red carpet. It was just as voluminous as it was sculptured, beginning with a flattering, U-shaped neckline along the bone-in corset. From there, Robbie's silhouette tripled in width, due to layers of white woven faille stacked on top of silk velvet. Blazy draped the luscious velvet like a curtain across her underskirt's pleated white petticoat. The ruby red garnish dangled asymmetrically, before cascading into Robbie's longest train yet.

Just when you thought Robbie's Chanel couldn't get any more opulent, she flaunted the bustled back. Blazy's take on the padded undergarment was a bit ahead of its time: Bustles didn't become popular until the late 19th century, while Emily Brönte published Wuthering Heights in 1847. However, as proven by Cathy's latex gown in the film, historical accuracy isn't the driving force of Emerald Fennell's adaptation. So, Blazy can dress Robbie in all the ludicrously capacious bustles he wants.

Its silk velvet flared up and out from the Oscar nominee's cinched waist, trailing a few feet behind her with each step. Feathers atop silk petals—decreasing in density from the bustle to the rounded hem—added even more visual interest to the never-ending train.

The ballgown might make you want to step back and stare, like admiring a painting in the Louvre. But don't let Robbie's accessories slip under your radar. A matching red velvet choker—featuring 100 carats of champagne diamonds from Lorraine Schwartz Jewelry—peeked out beneath the Barbie star's effortlessly undone waves.

The oversize, east-west pendant at the choker's center was the scene stealer, mainly for its champagne oval stone and its bordering circular diamonds. A single pear-shaped stone—similar to the one on her ring finger—popped against her décolletage.

The Barbie press tour walked so the Wuthering Heights press tour could run. Three years after Margot Robbie brought the doll's costumes to life, she returned to the red carpet with her gothic-glam side front and center.

On January 28, Robbie and stylist Andrew Mukamal kicked off what will likely be the first of many red carpets for Wuthering Heights before its February 13 release. For the L.A. premiere, the Oscar nominee wore a Schiaparelli Haute Couture trumpet gown crafted just for her—or in this case, her on-screen character, Cathy.

"We were like, 'if we were to make Wuthering Heights into a dress, what would it look like?'" Robbie told Variety. That translated to a strapless sweetheart neckline on a nude jersey bustier with a black chantilly lace overlay that then transitioned into a black velvet then red satin train.

In a video posted to Instagram, Schiaparelli creative director Daniel Roseberry said of the dress: "When you think of Wuthering Heights, you think of romance, passion, [and] drama. The silhouette was the drama, the lace was the romance, the red was the passion."

The Wuthering Heights of it all continued in the accessory department. Cathy would've adored the famous heart-shaped Taj Mahal necklace that once belonged to Elizabeth Taylor. The pendant—encrusted in jade, alongside a custom gold, ruby, and diamond chain—was a 40th birthday gift from her two-time husband, Richard Burton in 1972. Cartier loaned the piece, which is valued at $8.8 million, for the evening.

The original 16th-century owner of the necklace, Mughal Emperor Shah Jahangir, engraved "Love Is Everlasting" in Persian into the center, before giving it to his wife, Nur Jahan. The jewel earned its name after their son, Shah Jahan, commissioned the construction of the Taj Mahal in 1632 as a tribute to his late wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

Fast forward to 1971, Cartier acquired the pendant, trading its silk cord for the studded gold and ruby-tasseled chain later worn by Taylor (and, now, Robbie). In Dec. 2011, Taylor's estate auctioned off the Taj Mahal necklace for $8.8 million.

In an e-mail to Marie Claire, Nilesh Rakholia, jewelry expert and founder of Abelini, called Robbie's necklace choice "romance with teeth," suggesting its "intimate" throat placement was "deliberately confrontational." Like Taylor, he said, "Robbie isn’t simply wearing the jewel. She’s authoring the moment around it... Wearing Elizabeth Taylor’s necklace isn’t just glamorous, it’s declarative," he continued. "This extraordinarily loaded choice tells us this press tour is part of the performance."

Robbie accessorized further with bespoke 38-carat diamond earrings, courtesy of Lorraine Schwartz (who was also a friend of Taylor's). A 19th-century Fred Leighton ring with ruby and diamond stones mirrored the Taj Mahal necklace's color story.

According to Rakholia, Robbie "understands visual continuity better than almost any actor working today." Her decision to wear the Taj Mahal necklaces "trains" audiences to "read meaning into every styling choice." The jeweler speculates that the London leg of the tour will "carry particular symbolic weight," with Wuthering Heights being "deeply rooted in the English landscape."

It seems Robbie has big plans for the film's future premieres. On the carpet, she told Variety her outfits "are going to evolve throughout the press tour to cover some of the other sets and ideas in the film." All this to say? We're in for a treat.

Robbie got her hands on Look 14 from Chanel Resort 2026 for her BBC Radio One interview. Her blonde vest, especially its plunging U-shaped neckline, embraced the last bits of summer. After the premiere, Scarlett took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes photos of Robbie, while also sharing some details on how her glam came together. Per his caption, he styled Robbie's hair using a handful of products from Kérastase—he started out by washing and conditioning using the brand's Gloss Absolu Shampoo and Conditioner, and followed that with a blowout using the Mousse Bouffante and Gloss Absolu Anti-Frizz Glaze Milk, which were both applied to her wet hair before blow drying.

The former Chloé and Celine creative director first released the $3,360 tote in Oct. 2023, but it appears to be Robbie's newest purchase. Jennifer Lawrence frequently carries the same purse, complete with a trio of spacious compartments, leather ties on each side, and silver hardware.

Always on board for a minimalist moment, Robbie paired her raffia bag with a black sundress, which featured a sleeveless boatneck bodice. Her flouncy maxi skirt was slightly see-through, just like her tote. It revealed her top was actually a bodysuit—a welcome surprise for summer styling.

Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley are having the time of their life as new parents.

"They waited a long time to get pregnant, so it was almost unbelievable when the baby actually arrived," one source has told People. "They’ve both been settling into being parents."

According to the insider, Robbie and Ackerley are loving this opportunity to slow down and nest with their little one. "They’re homebodies so it’s been lovely to spend the time just them, at home with him," the source added. "They’re so happy."

News first broke that the Barbie star was expecting her first child this past July.

Robbie and Ackerley got married in 2016, and the I, Tonya actress has previously been open about the incredible pressure she felt from others to immediately have a child. "I got married, and the first question in almost every interview is, 'Babies? When are you having one?'" she told Radio Times in 2019. "I'm so angry that there's this social contract. You're married, now have a baby. Don't presume. I'll do what I'm going to do."

In the end, the timing worked out perfectly, with one source reporting in October that Robbie "absolutely [couldn't] wait" for her baby's arrival.

After the actress served some stunning maternity looks over the few weeks before the little boy was born, news broke last week that Robbie and Ackerley's son had arrived on Nov. 2, with People confirming the news at the time.

The child's name, officially date and time of birth, height and weight have yet to be revealed. Sources also confirmed that the pair have welcomed their baby boy into the world via The Daily Mail.

Robbie and Ackerley have yet to publicly comment on or announce the birth of their son.

Just three weeks ago, sources told People that the actress was "spending time in Los Angeles and preparing for her baby's arrival."

"She looks amazing. She's usually one of the hardest working actresses in Hollywood. She seems to enjoy some downtime from filming now though," the source told the publication at the time, adding that Robbie had "still been working a bit."

"She seems to love staying busy," the insider added.

In July, multiple sources confirmed to People that Robbie was pregnant and expecting her first child. Shortly after the news went public, Robbie made her first post-baby news appearance at Wimbledon, debuting her chic maternity style.

We see a theme developing here—on the heels of the groundbreaking success of last year’s Barbie, Margot Robbie’s next project will yet again take us into our childhood toy box. This time, it’s for a live-action film rendition of the real estate-inspired board game Monopoly; just as Mattel was involved with the Barbie film, Monopoly’s backers, Hasbro Entertainment, will be a part of the film, as well.

Variety reports that Monopoly is the world’s most popular board game brand, with a staggering 99 percent global awareness. The game is available in more than 100 countries worldwide, and has sold nearly half a billion copies going back to 1935.

“It’s unclear how Robbie and company plan to spin a narrative story from the two-dimensional world of Monopoly,” Variety writes. “Who will portray the game’s mascot, Rich Uncle Pennybags? Will they pass Go? Will they collect $200?” Skeptics had the same line of questioning about Barbie—how will they turn the famous doll into a film?—and, well, that seemed to turn out okay. ($1.4 billion made at the global box office is proof of that.) In addition to starring in the film, Robbie’s production company LuckyChap also produced Barbie, and it will produce Monopoly, as well.

LuckyChap will work with Lionsgate on Monopoly, and Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson said that Robbie and her team have “a clear point of view” when it comes to the upcoming movie, and added that Monopoly is “what we all believe can be their next blockbuster.” Fogelson made the announcement about the forthcoming film at CinemaCon, the annual movie theater trade show currently taking place in Las Vegas. Upon hearing the news about the Monopoly movie, “a packed house of cinema owners in the Colosseum at Caesars Palace loudly cheered at the news,” Variety reports.

“Monopoly is a top property—pun fully intended,” LuckyChap said in a statement. “Like all of the best IP [intellectual property], this game has resonated worldwide for generations, and we are so excited to bring this game to life alongside the wonderful teams involved at Lionsgate and Hasbro.”

In addition to the past success of Barbie and the future project of Monopoly, LuckyChap is also developing a movie adaptation of the life simulation video game The Sims. 

Barbie star Margot Robbie ditched the plastic doll's iconic color in favor of a darker, goth-like ensemble during the 2024 Academy Awards.

The actress stunned while walking the 2024 Oscars red carpet on Sunday, March 10, in an all-black Versace gown, presumably styled by the same person—Andrew Mukamal—who has helped conceptualize nearly all of Robbie's Barbie-esque looks.

In a July 2023 interview with People , Robbie discussed working with Mukamal on some of the now-iconic, eye-catching Barbie press-tour looks.

"We're finding Barbie references from decades past and just doing it really for the big Barbie fans out there, people who are collecting those Barbies," she then told the publication. "We're hoping to get them excited. We're pairing Barbie references with great designers."

In a pre-Oscars interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Robbie shared two of her favorite and most recent Barbie-inspired Chanel looks.

"I love the four-piece suit I wore to the Oscar nominees luncheon,” Robbie told the publication, “Because that was just such a specifically Chanel thing to do with a four-piece suit, and that was a really fun recreation," she continued.

Robbie said that the outfits she wore in the film and on the cover of the new Barbie press tour book from Rizzoli, Barbie: The World Tour by Robbie with Andrew Mukamal, were also among some of her favorites.

“That was initially worn by Claudia Schiffer, and I love that because when I put on the little bra top, it still had her name written on the inside," she explained. "It is the exact thing she wore. Putting that on, I was just like, wow, because she’s such an incredible Barbie reference in herself. It’s an iconic Chanel outfit worn by an iconic woman.”

Robbie's co-stars Ryan Gosling and America Ferrera are both nominated for Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress, respectively.

Robbie, however, infamously did not secure a nomination in the Best Actress category for her role as Barbie in the history-making 2023 film.

During a SAG-AFTRA discussion, Robbie responded to the alleged snub, telling the crowd: “There’s no way to feel sad when you know you’re this blessed,” reported  Variety.

The Barbie star and producer attended the 35th Producers Guild of America Awards at The Ray Dolby Ballroom in Los Angeles wearing a tuxedo-inspired black-and-white mini dress from Balmain.

The off-the-shoulder LBD is Look 19 from the label's Pre-Fall 2024 collection. It seems like the dress is a slight departure from the one straight off the runway, as it features white satin lapel detailing along the neckline.

Andrew Mukamal, the mastermind stylist behind all of Robbie's Barbie-inspired press tour looks, styled the dress with a small top-handle bag from Hunting Season, black satin Manolo Blahnik pumps, and a sparkling diamond choker necklace from Jacob & Co.

It might not be a perfect match, but it's clear Robbie's red carpet look has myriad similarities with Mattel's 1962 “After 5” Barbie, which features a black and white tea-length dress with a white lapel collar and black heels.

Most of Robbie's Barbie press tour looks have been centered around the color pink, launching the Barbiecore fashion phenomenon that overtook the past year.

Just a day prior, Robbie wore another Barbie-inspired LBD for the 2024 SAG Awards.
