But Coco Gauff couldn't wait for Wimbledon 2026 to debut her latest New Balance x Miu Miu collaboration. On June 23, one week before Wimbledon begins, Gauff revived the brown sneaker trend with a New Balance x Miu Miu twist, alongside "minimal" tennis whites.

Almost a decade into her New Balance ambassadorship, Gauff went all out for her return to London's Centre Court. "Obviously Wimbledon is the most traditional, if not the biggest event we have in tennis,” the 22-year-old told British Vogue. “You have to wear all white, so there were some limitations.”

Just days after draping herself in a stunning silver Miu Miu gown for last week's Met Gala, the Kissing Booth actress spent some more time in New York City to preview her Miu Miu Select Collection at the brand's flagship store. This time around, she wore a camel-colored, suede mini skirt with a matching vest that she put over a baby blue button down. She even kept the preppy theme going with her glam, styling her copper hair in loose beach waves and wearing a manicure that incorporated three of last summer's most popular nail trends.

With help from celebrity nail artist, Elle Gerstein, King wore a short almond French manicure to the event, but instead of going with a traditional white shade on her tips, she resurrected last summer's butter yellow trend for a pop of color. The yellow tips were also embellished with polka dots, and each hand featured two accent nails with 3D ladybug designs. It's refreshing nail art to see at a time when icy chrome designs and glitter nails seem to be the overall preference.

"Today I had a very clear vision," King told an MC editor of the manicure in a previous interview. "I was like, I want fucking yellow nails with brown polka dots and ladybugs. I don't know where it came from, but it's springtime!"

I'm eight months pregnant and rotating through an ever-dwindling pile of maternity clothes. In my rush to make it to our interview on time, I walked right past the Miu Miu flats I’d carefully placed by the front door for this exact occasion. An It bag or teeny-tiny pleated skirt to blend in with the editors and influencers milling around the powder-blue jewel box of a store? Not exactly items I had on hand.

But barely seconds into meeting the night's host, I learn membership in one of fashion's favorite clubs is only partially about what you're wearing. With a "Stop, you're the cutest!" and a quick, hug-filled introduction to "My friend, AnnaSophia!" (as in, fellow actress AnnaSophia Robb), Joey King assures me that anyone can gain entry to the Miu Miu girl ranks. The way she describes it, it's as much about the It pieces as it is about the energy.

To be clear, King has the Miu Miu look down. She's a frequent guest in its Paris Fashion Week front row, where she'll style barn jackets and patchwork-print minis with equal ease. I'm a new redhead, and I really feel like green brings out the red so nicely."

"It's just inspired me to be much more confident, lean into my low-key maximalist vibe and just play around a little bit more," she says.

She's showing off that newfound ability with her look for the evening. The Practical Magic 2 actress is fully dressed in pieces she gathered from Miu Miu's current collection, but not in copy-and-paste styling from the runway. She's stacked two poplin shirts and a suede tank top one on top of the other, with a matching mini skirt and bubblegum pink Viviant bag dangling off her arm.

Even King's manicure fits her "low-key maximalist" aesthetic. "Today I had a very clear vision," she tells me, holding out her left hand so I can peer down at her fingertips. "I was like, I want fucking yellow nails with brown polka dots and ladybugs. I don't know where it came from, but it's springtime!"

King has always felt an affinity for preppy pieces that would make her an eventual Miu Miu girl, but she didn't know how to make them her own. "I think as I've grown and evolved in my style, I've learned how to take those elements of what I've always liked and make them a little bit more me today," she explains.

As we say goodbye, King's already thinking of who else could join the Miu Miu crew. After asking when I'm due, she shares that her sister has just had a baby girl. A member of the team who's listening in suggests a micro mini bag could fit in the infant's tiny wardrobe, and there it is: I'm not King's only recruit of the night. "Oh my God," she grins. "Baby's first Miu Miu!"

Gigi Hadid has a long night of sky-high stilettos ahead of her at the 2026 Met Gala. I'm convinced I wouldn't have graduated from college without the white sneaker trend. Back in the day, Nike Air Force 1s took me to class, the dining hall, and every off-campus party in between. On April 1, my morning class outfit formula's go-to shoe officially came back—but this time, with Hailey Bieber's designer twist.

Before returning to her L.A. gym, the Rhode founder ditched the hiking sneakers trend she wore on March 30 for a never-before-seen Miu Miu pair. She's consistently styled Miuccia Prada's trainers since 2024, even navy, beige, and burgundy versions of her latest low-profile pair. But these $900 ballet sneakers were crafted from snow white leather, including the curved toe boxes and laces. Their extra-padded heels and tongues boasted Miu Miu's emblem in black. Beneath each toe, the logo blended in with rubber gumsoles. On top, Bieber stacked a heather gray tee beneath a black windbreaker and matching, micro-mini shorts.

My college campus wasn't the only place where the white sneaker trend took hold. Most It-sneakers in mid-2010s street style were white from toe-to-heel, including Adidas Stan Smiths, Vans Old Skools, and Nike Air Force 1s, of course. Bieber, Sofia Richie Grainge, and Kendall Jenner led the Air Force 1 charge, usually in skinny jeans, cropped pants, or leggings. Meanwhile, Stan Smiths were the glue that held 2016's celebrity street style scene together. Everyone from Bieber and Taylor Swift to Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Garner adored Adidas's ability to make something so sleek so recognizable.

These days, it's rare for Bieber—let alone any sneakerhead—to style shoes that are just as colorless. Even her white sneakers from New Balance or Fila add dimension with metallic silver or black laces, soles, or heel tabs. Like me, Bieber left her all-white sneakers back in the 2020s. One of her last sightings came in February that year, when her somehow scuff-less pair popped just as much as her leather green trench coat.

What goes around comes around, especially in the sneaker department. Yes, Bieber is back to her white sneaker-wearing ways, but not with the Nike Air Forces in my college archives. Full-time runway models can sneak past the paparazzi after a fashion show. Celebrities like Gillian Anderson, on the other hand, can't fly under-the-radar as easily. After her runway debut in Miu Miu's Fall 2026 show, Anderson made a not-so sneaky, post-show exit. Perhaps her colorful take on the argyle sweater trend gave her away.

The Sex Education star first sat in a front row as early as Gucci's Fall 1997 runway. Still, she didn't ditch her spectator hat until March 10, 2026, when Miuccia Prada bestowed upon Anderson the honor of closing Miu Miu's 66-look show. "Surprise," Anderson wrote on Instagram Stories, alongside the flirty "wink" emoji.

Anderson helped Miu Miu initiate a naked dressing "vibe shift" (as fashion features editor Emma Childs called it) in a nude sheath. Below its square neckline—and peach-colored, peekaboo bralette—the front profile boasted hundreds of gold and silver sequins. It was a clear manifestation of Prada's standout show note: "garments embrace the body." To finish, Anderson's brown high-vamp heels blended in with the mossy grass-turned-catwalk.

Once Anderson retreated backstage, she changed out of nearly every Miu Miu design apart from her noughties-coded comb headband. From there, she bundled up in moody neutrals, including a navy-and-red take on the argyle sweater trend. Contrasting diamonds cascaded from the navy turtleneck down to the hem—a subtle endorsement of Spring 2026's rising tomato color trend.

She paired the spring knit with anti-preppy, black skinny jeans, tucked into distressed moto boots. A shoulder-padded, navy blue coat married the contrasting aesthetics together with ease. It signaled quite a stark shift from the crinkly blazers, leather jackets, and fur-trimmed windbreakers shown on the runway just minutes prior, though.

If you can believe it, Miu Miu has yet to reach Anderson's red carpet clothing rack. The Fall 2026 show doubled as her first time wearing Miu Miu in public, let alone on the sartorial world's stage. Still, the Want author looked every bit a runway regular.

Anderson rehearsed for this moment on L'Oréal Paris's unofficial runway last September. Her silver Saiid Kobeisy Fall 2025 gown stole the show at the Paris Fashion Week-adjacent fête. After watching runway shows for the past 30 years, let's hope Anderson's switch from guest-to-model is a permanent one. She already has the post-show prowess to start (or revive) street style trends.

Last year, Miu Miu’s sales spiked by 35 percent to a grand total of 1.5 billion euros. That’s a record high for the label, not to mention a near miracle in times like these. (Like most industries, luxury fashion is financially struggling.) Call it the Miuccia Prada Midas touch. Mrs. Prada—who has a Ph.D. in political science, dresses Gen Z darlings like Olivia Rodrigo and Sabrina Carpenter, and did a show taking on “tradwives” last season—captures the zeitgeist like no other. While other designers chase virality, she goes after vibe shifts.

She did it again with Miu Miu’s Fall 2026 show, presented on the final day of Paris Fashion Week and in the last few hours of fashion month. The label commandeered the Palais d'Iéns, a concrete rotunda built in 1937, and transformed it into an enchanted forest. A lumpy grass field was custom-installed for the runway. Guests, including Daisy Edgar-Jones, Alexa Chung, Tyla, and Paloma Elsesser, sat on mahogany velvet benches in a room wallpapered with kitschy grandma florals.

A weathered-looking grey suit, nipped in with a belt just below the bust, walked out first. Then came bow-bedecked mini dresses rendered in crushed linen and double-washed cashmere. Cropped leather jackets paired with matching trousers slung low on the hips and fur-lined parkas paired with thin slip skirts followed. Immortal It girl Chloë Sevigny wore a black distressed leather mini dress and blazer trimmed with shaggy shearling that looked like it had been around the block for a few decades.

A glossy, gimmick-filled runway engineered to do the rounds on Instagram Reels, this was not. Titled "Mindful Intimacy," Miu Miu's latest explored "the smallness of our human bodies, in the vastness of our world," per show notes.

Once again, Prada was asking us to lead with our heads and hearts, rather than fall for the easy shock value of naked dressing and sparkles. The bow motifs were a reference to underwear. ("The clothes that are closest to you," in show-notes terms.) Sheer drop-waist dresses showed skin only in strategic, subtle slices; a makeup-free Gillian Anderson of The X-Files and Sex Education fame wore a flapper-style sheath flecked with gold and silver sequins to close the show. Prada described these as a wearable form of TLC: "garments embrace the body, prioritizing and valuing that inside."

All in all, Prada wrote, this Miu Miu chapter conveys "an ownership and agency of your own body, your own self and value—a warm sensuality, a warm sexuality." The theme of choice was evident in the salmon satin cami layered under a see-through tank and bottom frills of a bow peeking out from under a babydoll blazer—stylings that reiterate that the wearer is in control of their clothing. Same with the shoes; Miu Miu’s runway stylist Lotta Volkova paired those bow mini dresses with chunky silver-sparkle sneakers and gorp-y rubber-soled garden clogs, both of which will do numbers among freaky shoe fans.

Individuality—expressing it, preserving it—has long been a Miu Miu core value. The brand’s Spring 2026 collection explored the same concept, albeit with a vastly different and more explicit approach. Last season focused almost entirely on apron dresses, a symbol of a woman’s work that Prada subverted by embellishing the style with silver studs and rendering it in kinky black leather.

Instead of a sharp rejection of what women are "supposed to" be, do, and look like, Miu Miu Fall 2026 highlights the soft power that comes just from getting dressed. It’s a more heady thesis of what every fashion publication and Substack author has been preaching about for several seasons now: personal style trumps all. "Clothes that are a method of self-preservation, a means of valuing that inside. They emblematize the individual, and in turn the identity of Miu Miu, itself," as Prada wrote.

While other brands seek out quick-hit trends, Prada dials it back and urges us to be more considered and romantic in what we wear, recognizing it's so much more than just fabric on our bodies. She’s playing chess, not checkers.

There's a new Miu Miu girl in town. On March 10, Miuccia Prada welcomed Tyla to her latest fashion show inside Paris's Place d'Iéna. The first-timer arrived in head-to-toe Miu Miu—per the dress code—plus a noughties-inspired take on the peekaboo boxers trend.

You wouldn't know the Fall 2026 show marked Tyla's Miu Miu debut. (Before now, she only wore the maison's monogram for magazine features.) Stylist Ron Hartleben dressed her like a longtime Miu Miu girl, not with the apron dress trend, but another Spring 2026 set. Tyla made a gray crewneck-tank hybrid her own by removing the runway’s baby blue button-down underneath. A two-inch band replaced a full-coverage back, which created plunging cut-outs on either side of her top.

The waistband of Tyla's indigo blue jeans drooped so low, you could see her ribbed, heather gray boxers—a peekaboo trend Miu Miu helped pioneer back on Spring 2022 runways. The South African star's pair flaunted the label's emblem in bold print, of course.

Tyla took creative liberties in the accessory department, too. Miu Miu's logo returned atop the $4,200 Vivant Leather purse—her first handbag of many from Miuccia Prada's mind. The bowling-esque, Cognac-colored bag comes in two sizes, of which Tyla chose the smaller. Even so, its elongated zipper pocket could secure a 13-inch laptop with ease.

Nina Dobrev joined Tyla in Miu Miu's front row with the same Vivant as her plus-one. The Vampire Diaries star also got the exposed underwear memo.

To finish, Tyla threw her hair in a messy bun, which turned nostalgically chic with a gray scarf-turned-headband. It wasn't on the Spring 2026 runway, but neither were her brown slingback pumps.

Tyla's look could revive peekaboo boxers for good, four years after Miu Miu made the trend a house code. The Spring 2022 show helped them rise to fame under ultra-low-slung mini skirts and shorts aplenty. By Oct. 2023, Sydney Sweeney endorsed the look at Miu Miu's Paris Fashion Week show. Fast forward to April 2024, and Tyla tested boxers-as-outerwear beneath unbuttoned jeans.

Her underwear has only gotten more daring in the years since. For example, she filmed the 2024 "Jump" music video in itty-bitty hot pants, which revealed a neon yellow G-string to match her triangle bra. Then, Tyla attended Jacquemus's Jan. 2025 fashion show in a black maxi with sleeves that stretched so low, you could see her matching thong.

Given her affinity for visible undies, it's about time Tyla joined Miu Miu's celebrity clientele. Where will her RSVP take her from here? There's a chance more underwear-forward 'fits—with Miu Miu tags—are in her future.

On February 26, right when I accepted spring was still weeks away, Olivia Rodrigo styled the seasonal skirt trend of my early-April dreams. Once my eyes panned past her vintage Coach bag and sunglasses to her plaid midi skirt, I almost booked a flight to L.A. right then and there. If she keeps this up, I'll be cosplaying a West Coast It-girl by March 1.

Paparazzi caught Rodrigo in Pasadena, dressed in nearly every color of the rainbow—minus her cropped, $18 T-shirt from Brandy Melville. (Even her Love Story-branded matcha looked extra vibrant on Thursday afternoon.) Always on board for a high-low look, she stretched her 'fit to four-figure status with a $2,550, knee-grazing pencil skirt from Miu Miu. A plaid print in candy-colored red, orange, and green decorated the thick, wool-blend midi.

The skirt's cherry red strands set the color story for her accessories. Coach's vintage Ergo Bag—which joined Rodrigo's bag collection in Feb. 2024—returned to her shoulder. Technically, Coach still sells the snap-closure hobo bag, but not in Rodrigo's rich burgundy shade. She likely scored it at a vintage store, like so many of her fellow Coach-obsessed Gen Z-ers.

Next, the Mary Janes enthusiast slipped on a multi-strap, block-heel pair from Parisian brand Carel. They were much glossier than the Grammy winner's well-loved Coach bag, because Thursday marked their public debut.

This time last year, Rodrigo helped crown plaid the It-pattern of the season. Checks in all shades and sizes aligned with her part-punk, part-polished aesthetic. A Damson Madder midi and a vintage Ralph Lauren shirtdress at Wimbledon 2025 both proved her point. Come October, she debuted two new-to-her finds—one in red-and-gray, the other in black-and-white—in L.A. and London, respectively.

Needless to say, I've never bought so many checkered pieces in one year. Rodrigo and I were equal parts consumed by the print, even before it surfaced on Spring 2026 runways from Dior, Burberry, Collina Strada, Anna Sui, and more. Now, everyone from Diesel and Daniela Gregis are bringing it back for Fall 2026's trend cycle. Once again, Rodrigo is right on time. Shop Spring 2026 Plaid Outfits Inspired by Olivia Rodrigo

By the time the fifth apron dress walked down Miu Miu’s Spring 2026 runway, it was no longer a nudge-nudge wink-wink, but a hit-you-over-the-head prompt: Miuccia Prada wanted us to think about what we wear in the kitchen. Anatomy of a Fall star Sandra Hüller opened the show in a dark blue gabardine smock. Bejeweled ones, candy-colored crochet, and ruffled ones followed. Halfway through, Academy Award nominee Richard E. Grant came out in a kinky black leather apron over a quarter-zip and ascot.

When the Paris Fashion Week show wrapped, the fashion commentariat was quick to bring in the context of our current moment, which is that "tradwives”—Nara Smith, Ballerina Farm, and the like, who are leading a revival of domestic femininity online, repacking homemaking as soft power—are trending. Mrs. Prada used aprons to meet the moment: The show notes describe Miu Miu Spring 2026 as “a consideration of the work of women—their challenges, adversity, experience. Its invisibility is confronted and addressed, recognized, and valorized." Elsewhere, another top-level woman fashion designer, creative director Veronica Leoni, opened her Spring 2026 show for Calvin Klein with a milk-white apron, and cited “working class heroes” as her inspiration.

Before these collections hit retail shelves, women in Hollywood cosigned these designers’ proposals to reclaim aprons as tools of agency and disruption, rather than symbols of work and subjugation. Industry powerhouse Myha'la wore a Miu Miu leather apron to the HBO show’s Season 4 premiere in early January. A week later, Norwegian ​​actress Renate Reinsve wore a gown version of Calvin Klein’s milkmaid look to the European Film Awards, where she won Best Actress for her performance in Joachim Trier’s Sentimental Value.

Still, I wonder: Outside of the fashion and celebrity bubble, and given (*gestures broadly*) everything, is an apron dress actually a subversive 2026 fashion trend? The U.S. is in a post-Roe v. Wade world, where physical violence against women is sanctioned on a federal level. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg thinks corporate culture has become too "culturally neutered" and needs more "masculine energy". Last year, the UN Women reported that “women are underrepresented at all levels of decision-making worldwide” and “gender parity in political life is far off.”

“What happens when an apron no longer lives inside the container of a fashion show?” asks NYC- and Paris-based content creator and fashion analyst Claire Pruett. “What happens when apron dresses hit Zara, and people just want to participate in a trend? It comes down to the question of who’s in control of the image: Is it the wearer, the designers, or the culture?”

Luxury brands like Prada and Calvin Klein may be trying to rebrand the apron for 2026, but I’m doubtful their intent will reach as far and wide as the idea of a fun, flirty spring dress. If the nuance gets lost in the churn of the trend cycle—especially as it battles against mainstream tradwife culture—how effective is this effort, anyway?

“Trying to spin regressive nostalgia as progressive feels like it's ignoring the broader context of conservative gender ideals gaining traction worldwide,” Pruett argues. “Miu Miu’s show notes say its aprons symbolize ‘work as a reflection of independence, a means of agency’—but I can't square the dissonance of selling the aprons as a symbol of independence with the dependence that the tradwife lifestyle requires.”

Since 2016, a red baseball cap has read as an endorsement of Trump and MAGA. Some could make the case that, in 2026, an apron dress is more likely to read as a conservative simulacrum of a woman’s ideal role: to stay at home to cook, clean, and raise a family.

This push-and-pull isn’t novel. Prada—who has a Ph.D. in political science and only became a designer after years of activism in Milan’s women's rights movement in the seventies—has long used aprons as a disruptive feminist symbol in her work at Miu Miu and Prada. Rei Kawakubo, the female Japanese designer and founder of Comme des Garçons, has also riffed on apron silhouettes since the early ‘90s. But the margin between resisting oppression and glamorizing it is thin. Fashion history shows that well.

“In the 18th century, particularly among Marie Antoinette and her court, fashionable women wore aprons made from impractical, difficult-to-clean materials such as silk and lace, often embellished with embroidery,” says fashion historian Sarah Collins, SCAD's associate chair of fashion marketing and management. “By transforming a garment designed to shield the body from stains into something deliberately impractical, these women emphasized that they did not need to work, cook, or clean.”

Cynics could argue that Miu Miu is doing the same by turning the humble apron into a status symbol. The brand’s blue gabardine runway aprons retail for $2,200, a 7,233 percent markup over the $30 smocks sold at Williams Sonoma.

Ultimately, the individual relationship to a trend matters most. And as Kristen Bateman, a fashion author who waxes poetic about apron dresses on her Substack, The Doll Dealbook, adds, “the context of where they are worn and how they're styled is what may be most interesting.” If someone like Sydney Sweeney, an actress facing controversy for her shoulder-rubbing with conservatism, wore an apron, it would come across very differently from when nonbinary actor Emma Corrin wore a Miu Miu one to the red carpet premiere of 100 Nights of Hero in October.

“What feels different now is that younger wearers are engaging with the garment on their own terms, not as a symbol of obligation, but as one of choice, layering, and self-styling,” Collins says. “In this context, the apron dress becomes less about service and more about authorship, allowing wearers to reference histories of women’s work while reasserting control over how those histories are worn, displayed, and reinterpreted.”

Gunia, a small fashion brand that reworks traditional Ukrainian aprons into contemporary ready-to-wear, is a great example of Collins’ point in action. “For us, the apron is not about the past—it is a contemporary instrument that allows us to remain in dialogue with tradition rather than imitating it,” Natalia Kamenska, Gunia’s co-founder and creative director, tells me. “We treat the apron not as a folkloric quotation, but as a tool of style.”

Aprons will always symbolize women’s labor—what some think it should or shouldn’t be. But on the right wearer, in the right setting, maybe an apron dress can push us forward.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. We wore choker necklaces and as much Anastasia Dipbrow as possible. We were existentially hopeful about the future, only for those #Girlboss dreams to be snuffed out come November. The year was 2016, and it was a wild ride—one that is, supposedly, gearing up for a revival in 2026.

Around the holidays, the internet at large grew nostalgic for the good old days of ten years ago, and adopted “2026 is the new 2016” as its new motto. Users started spelunking through their camera rolls to reshare Snapchat dog filter selfies and #OOTDs set to Drake’s “Hotline Bling”. Kylie Jenner revived “King Kylie”, changing her Instagram profile photo to her with Millennial-pink hair, in a Supreme hoodie and a Candy K lip kit-coated lips.

Soon, outlets across the globe, from Vogue to Marie Claire UK to Elle India, were declaring that the 2016 fashion revival was sweeping 2026’s top trends. But is that true, or is it just another internet trend born in a bubble? Are we all about to be wearing skinny jeans and “We Should All Be Feminists” slogan tees again?

In some sense, yes—but mostly no.

“Right now, fashion feels like it’s finding its balance between comfort and cool again,” says Julie Sariñana, the founder of Sincerely Jules, one of the most popular sites during the 2010s blogging boom. “People are craving easy, confident style that isn’t overly curated—which is what 2016 was. We mixed high and low, masculine and feminine, vintage and modern. It was less about perfection and more about personality; it felt real, wearable, expressive, attainable, and lived-in.”

It’s the same impulse that made a strong, singular style such a hot commodity in 2026. “2016 was the first time personal style went truly global thanks to social media,” says Noelle Sciacca, head of fashion and strategic partnerships at The RealReal and a former fashion editor at Lucky, Cosmopolitan, and Seventeen. “You could discover new designers, mix luxury with vintage, and make it your own; that spirit of experimentation feels fresh again in 2026 after a period of capsule wardrobes and uniform dressing."

In 2016, Instagram was only six years old, and TikTok was just the sound a clock made. “That era encouraged people to dress for themselves, not just for trends or algorithms,” says Sariñana. “It feels refreshing to revisit a time when getting dressed was about how something made you feel, not just how it photographed."

Think of it as another "touch grass" trend, like when It girls wore garden clocks and burly barn jackets like a farmer from the English countryside last year. The people yearn to feel as free with their fashion as they did when they shared #candid mirror selfies and wore flower crowns and moto boots to Coachella.

That said, a resurgence of 2016-era silhouettes wasn’t entirely pulled from thin air. Cigarette jeans walked all over the Spring 2026 runways. Rihanna is wearing lace slip dresses with army green bomber jackets, just like she did when “Work” was the top track of the year. Ten years is also pretty par for the course for a bout of style nostalgia—just enough time for fashion girls to feel fondly for velvet ribbon chokers and DIY denim cut-offs. What's more, to reiterate Sciacca, today's shopper wants to walk out the door in an outfit that's personalized to them.

“What I love most about the 2016 revival is that it reminds us that style is repetitive, but personal style is forever,” says Sariñana. “The pieces may come back, but the way you wear them should always feel true to who you are now. If there’s one takeaway, it’s to trust your fashion instincts."

Katy Lubin, the VP of brand and communications at Lyst and the brain behind the fashion search engine's quarterly indexes, links the modern fever for It bags, shoes, and any item at all, really, to the phenomenon of lining up multiple New York City blocks for the new Supreme drop a decade ago.

“2016 proved how one cult product could define a year, from Gucci’s Princetown loafers to the J.W. Anderson Pierce bag driving a three-times spike in brand traffic,” says the fashion expert, who has been at Lyst since pre-2016 and seen these industry shifts in real time. “In 2026, fashion is even more product-led, with consumers more frequently searching for ‘the item’ rather than the brand behind it.” Think: a Carhartt barn jacket, that one Cos sweater, and that Miu Miu x New Balance sneaker that's nearly impossible to find in stock.

Denim Dominates

“As we eased out of the stretchy skinny jeans era, 2016 had us embracing a slightly looser, slim-cut denim, cropped at the ankle, with extra style points for a lightly frayed hem,” explains Sciacca. Cut to 2026, and we’re observing a similar pattern.

“After seasons of ultra–wide-leg silhouettes, there’s renewed interest in slimmer, straight styles," she continues. "On The RealReal, sales for straight-leg jeans are up 10 percent since last year, and, to my surprise, cropped jeans have surged by an incredible 1,787 percent.”

Lubin substantiates the parallels with 2026’s denim trends: “2016 marked the return of normcore staples, with straight-leg jeans becoming a fashion statement. Levi’s 501s were the most viewed jeans on Lyst that year. In 2026, we’re seeing the same demand for timeless, recognizable pieces, now reframed as premium investments."

Slim Sneakers

You know this one already: From the Adidas Tokyo, Puma Speedcat, and Prada’s best-selling close-to-the-foot trainers, slim sneakers are at the tip-top of 2026’s shoe trends. Today's slender sneakers call back to 2016, when looks were “often finished with a pair of crisp white Adidas Stan Smiths or Common Projects sneakers,” Sciacca says. “While Stan Smiths may no longer be the go-to, retro-inspired sneakers from Dries Van Noten and Wales Bonner x Adidas collaborations—up 123 percent in demand year over year on the RealReal—are leading the charge.”

Bold Colors

"In 2016, bold crayon colors were everywhere—it was practically a style requirement,” Sciacca remembers. “Vetements was shaking up the industry with green sock boots and asymmetrical yellow dresses; buzzy newcomer Sies Marjan made its debut with a palette defined by vibrant shades and a notable absence of black; and even the Philophiles were getting in on the action, with Celine’s bold pops of color to its minimalist looks.”

The 2026 color palette is proving to be just as vibrant. “Cobalt blue—a standout on the Spring 2026 runways at Loewe and Jil Sander—has seen a 342 percent increase in searches on The RealReal since last year," Sciacca says. "Canary yellow also made a strong return at Bottega Veneta, Prada, and Miu Miu—a shade once beloved by Sies Marjan." (Although the eclectic and colorful NYC-based brand has since closed, she notes that demand for it increased by 31 percent year over year on The RealReal.)

Subcultures and Social Media

This last trend is a bit more heady, but bear with us. "Back in 2016, we saw broad subcultures like 'skater' and ‘emo’ style go mainstream via Instagram, with choker sales rising 120 percent and Vans Old Skools becoming the United Kingdom’s most searched sneaker,” Lubin recalls.

As the chronically online will tell you, the last few years have seen a surplus of hyper-niche aesthetics hit the mainstream, too—from the office siren to the tomato girl. “But,” Lubin says, “the landscape is now far more fragmented, and feels a little darker; where we once had thriving, cohesive communities online, we now see meaningful fashion pieces appropriated, diluted, and exploited by brands mining for relevance before the algorithm moves on.” Remember when TikTok tried to rebrand dupattas, a centuries-old South Asian garment, as “Scandinavian summer staple to wear to Euro weddings"? Yeah—like that.

“Looking ahead, we'll see more shoppers curating highly personal aesthetics that resist easy categorization or commodification,” Lubin continues.

Imagine subcultural pieces paired with unrelated items, like a military Hussar jacket styled with a denim skirt or a boho-coded lace dress with a business-y blazer—outfits that have traces of niche trends, but don't belong squarely in an easily identifiable box.

Like any chef's lovingly worn-in apron, the bottom-half shielded her undergarments from any spills. (A win for inside the screening, no doubt.) The only differences? Myha'la's version didn't tie in the back before stretching below her stilettos. Its 360-degree skirt grazed the black carpet, contrary to the knee-length look seen on the runway.

Button closures traded places with a typical apron tie. Even so, the leather maxi wasn't completely lace-less. Miu Miu's one-piece appeared just as striking on the Spring 2026 catwalk. The midi stopped in line with the model's knees, revealing black Oxford-style shoes.

Not a single accessory made the cut last September, but Myha'la couldn't leave her engagement ring at home. It sparkled just as much as her diamond stud earrings.

Once the curtain closed on the screening, Myha'la traded her apron for a leather-centric after-party look. She posed with Heated Rivalry heartthrob Hudson Williams, the internet's current BookTok boyfriend, in a white tank top, a suit tie, and low-rise leather pants.

The cherry on top of Myha'la's post-screening cake was Miu Miu's Mini Aventure Bag in black. Rihanna's Caribbean Christmas is still going strong. On January 5, after spending Christmas and New Year's in Barbados, the local took her two sons, RZA and Riot, to a family get-together. She was all smiles in new Miu Miu sneakers and the rarest of Longchamp bags.

Even on the island, Rihanna stayed loyal to L.A. cool-girl looks. Her outfit began with an oversize white T-shirt and a pinstripe button-down, resembling the Bottega Veneta drill jacket she wore for a CVS Pharmacy run in Dec. 2024. A micro-mini skirt tied the black-and-white tops together.

Flip-flops would've been the obvious choice in 80°F Barbados, but RiRi continued her trendy sneaker streak instead. Miu Miu's Gymnasium Sneakers proved her penchant for snakeskin can't be tamed, even on a tropical vacation. The $1,350 shoes mirrored the slenderness of sneakerinas, except with laced uppers, monogrammed ankles, and leather python print atop the round toe boxes. Rihanna's accessories reached a new level of "rare" with her handbag: a style from Jeremy Scott's Spring 2014 collaboration with Longchamp. She tracked down the 12-year-old Monster Le Pliage Tote, defined by its yellow, white, blue, and red skull print.

The print was gorily animated, while the structure remained classic Parisian. Her zip-top carry-all featured signature Le Pliage elements, including a flap button closure to match the black leather handles. It recently sold secondhand for $277—could A$AP Rocky (or Rihanna herself) have planted it under the Christmas tree?

Funky footwear and vintage purses are Rihanna's fashion love languages, and have been for years. Even so, the street style star didn't own a single Longchamp Le Pliage or Miu Miu sneaker until now.

When she's not stealing scenes in Hollywood, it's Chase Sui Wonders's part-time job to make fashion girls jealous. On December 9, the actor outdid herself in a 11-year-old Prada coat straight from Rihanna's personal archive.

New York City's The Breuer welcomed Wonders at Sotheby's Creators and Collectors Dinner—her first festive soirée of the season. Her look was nowhere near your average holiday party outfit, but a piece of pop star history. Stylist Thomas Carter Phillips helped her track down a shearling-embellished hero piece from Prada's Fall 2014 collection. Teddy bear-ish fur was an overarching motif throughout the 40-look line, but this leather duffle coat stood out for its two-tone trim.

Tan shearling decorated each statement lapel, before turning blood red atop The Studio star's cuffs, patch pockets, and thigh-grazing hem. Wonders proved the "coat is the outfit" claim correct, just as Dakota Johnson, Jennifer Lawrence, Taylor Swift, and even Rihanna have this month. Still, her fuzzy V-neck sweater and matching skirt deserve honorable mentions.

Were it not for the coat's eye-catching fur, the revival might've slipped under Marie Claire's radar. But nearly 12 years ago, Rihanna styled Wonders's exact Prada piece at Miu Miu's Fall 2014 show.

It must've caught her eye on Prada's runway, which debuted just two weeks before Miu Miu. Before finding her seat in the front row, RiRi gave the yellow-and-red fur a proper close-up. Its button-less closure revealed a plunging V-neck sweater dress underneath—another Prada Fall 2014 pick.

Nowadays, she would've used the open neckline to her advantage and frost herself in five-figure necklaces aplenty. In March 2014, the Grammy winner pulled off a purple satin neckerchief instead. New York City was a frigid 45° on Tuesday morning, but that didn't stop Hadid from reaching her step count. She bundled up in a boho-chic brown palette, beginning with a herringbone double-breasted coat, courtesy of her knitwear label, Guest In Residence. Buttoning it up hid most of the street style selects beneath, except for wide-leg tan sweatpants. Hadid traded an oversize cashmere scarf (a staple among A-list New Yorkers) for a bandana-style scarf. Perhaps she stole it from her younger sister, Bella Hadid's closet, in all its horse girl glory.

Miu Miu's iconic emblem—embroidered in brown leather—was impossible to miss underneath Hadid's shoulder. She chose the regular-sized canvas colorway trimmed in brown leather to match the brand's logo.

If NYC was 20° warmer, Hadid would've (presumably) coupled her Miu Miu bag with sneakers. (In September, she wore a sneaker-mule hybrid from Larroudé with the Miu Miu Aventure bag.) Instead, Hadid elevated a pair of shearling-lined boots. They weren't your average house slippers—multicolor beads decorated Hadid's Ugg lookalikes.

Turns out, they're a rare find from family-run brand Alameda Turquesa, based in Portugal. Each charm-embellished slipper is made by hand—Hadid's included. Hadid is embracing shearling season to the fullest, debuting new renditions with each street style stroll. In late October, she joined boyfriend Bradley Cooper in Manhattan, wearing a $695 aprés-ski essential from Simon Miller. Now, Sydney Sweeney is here to deliver the memo once and for all by pairing a wavy blonde bob haircut with a custom Miu Miu gown fit for a princess.

Sweeney took to the red carpet on Saturday, October 25 for the premiere of Christy at the 2025 AFI FEST in Hollywood. For the occasion, the Euphoria star—who is styled by Molly Dickson—wore a custom Miu Miu gown constructed from delicate baby pink floral lace. The halter gown featured a belted drop-waist, and cascaded into voluminous lace layers, ending in a sumptuous train.

Currently, I’m bleary-eyed, running on too little sleep, and sipping my second coffee of the day—a fitting state to write about slippers, the biggest shoe trend of Fall 2025.

Now, these slippers don’t come with fuzzy bunny ears. They aren’t covered in shearling or stacked on a platform. (No offense to Ugg’s viral Tasman slippers, which I own and swear by as a great shoe for long-haul flights.) The ones we're seeing on the feet of pretty much every fashion girl are sleeker, made of soft leather, satin, or velvet, more akin to slip-on mules. Think of them like house slippers you’re allowed—nay, encouraged—to wear outside, with a quiet luxury undertone. Quiet because, yes, the shoe is half asleep, but also from the wealth it connotes. A woman who has time to kick her feet up for a thirty-minute catnap? That’s rich.

To get a better picture of the archetype of a slipper-wearing, Amex Platinum-carrying woman who gets two-plus hours of REM, look to the Fall 2025 runways. Calvin Klein styled pencil skirts and scarf coats with satin slippers resembling the complimentary pairs you'd find in a hotel room that costs four figures a night. Alberta Ferretti opened with a pair of burgundy leather slip-ons, styled with a rich-looking open duster, which is what I imagine Gwyneth Paltrow’s bathrobe looks like.

Off the runway, you'll see the fashion set shuffling all around the world in elevated out-of-the-house slippers. Jennifer Lawrence, a longtime connoisseur of off-beat shoe trends, is strolling around New York City in luxury slip-ons from The Row and Charvet, a 1838-founded French brand lauded for its hand-crafted slippers. (Non-A-list fashion girls are making pilgrimages to Paris just to pick up a pair at its Place Vendôme store.) Other style tastemakers—including Marie Claire’s beauty director, Hannah Baxter, a slipper aficionado whose “closet would be stocked with Charvet slippers if [she] could swing it"—stock up on pairs from smaller, IYKYK brands, like Vibi Venezia, A.Emery, and Lemaire.

When you have such an ubiquitous, niche trend like outside-the-house slippers, it typically can be traced back to two fashion heavy-hitters: The Row or Miu Miu. In the case of Fall 2025’s slippers, it’s both.

The Row integrated hard-soled slippers into its Summer 2024 lineup (the same collection that kicked off the jelly flat phenomenon), while Miu Miu followed suit with open-back leather mules in Fall 2024. It’s also worth noting that The Row co-founder Mary-Kate Olsen has a well-documented history of wearing slippers on Los Angeles sidewalks, and an endorsement from either of the twins is akin to a Midas touch for a trend.

It may have taken a few months, but Fall 2025 seems like the right time for roll-out-of-bed-and-out-the-door slippers to reach their peak. There’s an overall snoozy vibe percolating through the season. Beauty girls are smudging on dark circles and calling it “tired girl makeup”. TikTok says under-eye bags are the secret to a French woman’s je ne sais quoi. Fashion-wise, it’s normal to wear nightgowns out of the house, and coats are getting closer to becoming blankets. Naturally, a low-effort, comfortable shoe that’s perfect for sleepyheads slots in well with the current mood.

If you read fashion magazines, you are no doubt interested in fashion, and part of that is staying current. Knowing where the silhouettes have shifted plays a key role in understanding the current fashion mood—but the secret to modern dressing isn’t always in a 30-piece wardrobe refresh or an entire reinvention of your style. I hate to keep being the arbiter of less is more; however, sometimes the smallest tweaks can be the most impactful. One of my best styling tricks, which is far more subtle, is choosing the right shoe and the right pair of glasses. These two accessories, often overlooked, are what can truly make an outfit current, polished, and let others know that you know.

My grandfather always used to say you could tell someone’s character by their shoes. What he meant was, even if the suit looks fancy, if the shoes are scuffed and uncared for, the fancy suit no longer matters. I find this resonates today, but in a slightly new form: a carefully curated outfit can be greatly skewed by the choice of shoes and glasses. Swapping out your pair of shoes or glasses for a newer, trendier style is such an easy way to immediately recalibrate a look.

For instance, style last year’s tailored coat and jeans with this year’s sleek sneaker trend, like Puma’s OG Speedcat.

Take your chinos or tweed skirt in an updated direction with Miu Miu or Madewell boat shoes (extra points if you include colored laces).

And while in years past, oversized, chunky reading glasses signaled something irreverent and slightly nerdy in a good way, now is the time for bookish, sleek-looking reading glasses—a nod to ’90s fashion in the best way; minimal, slightly dainty, and extra functional.

Sunglasses have a little more flexibility these days. The black oval (worn slightly lower on the bridge of the nose), like the Selma by Corlin Eyewear, has been having its moment for a while. However, I’m also really loving the extreme opposite sunglasses trends that are hitting the scene—extra large, aviator silhouettes, colored lenses, and shield/bug style glasses are quickly becoming my go-tos.

Since her first Euro summer post on June 5, I've been living vicariously through Sofia Richie Grainge via Instagram. I may not have a multi-country vacation on the docket this summer, but the It girl's itinerary has enough picturesque stops for the both of us. So far, she's shared OOTDs from Monaco, Saint Tropez, and at the famed Hotel du Cap-Eden-Rock in Antibes, where she said "I do" in April 2023.

One post wasn't enough to capture the venue's glamour, because on June 16, Grainge shared additional sneak peeks from her stay. Contrary to the quiet luxury Chanel she wore during her nuptials, the A-lister returned to the Hotel du Cap in a colorful co-ord, starting with a red one-piece swimsuit from Gucci. Her new stylist, Thomas Christos, helped stock her suitcase, of course, with black trousers to layer over maillot and a new Miu Miu It-bag to tote her poolside accessories.

On the balcony at the Hotel du Cap, Grainge's beach bag was front and center. While she's a hardcore Chanel devotee, this time, she carried the Miu Miu Ivy Crochet Tote Bag in the "Cocoa/Chalk White" color-way (translation: dark brown with white lettering). It's crocheted using a raffia-effect yarn, which allows the style to be folded and stored easily.

If it's anything like her previous vacation handbags, luxury fashion sourcer Gab Waller secured the tote on her behalf. According to Waller's Instagram, these summery Miu Miu styles are in high-demand. Perhaps Grainge's carry-all is the heir apparent to Prada's version, which everyone and their mother carried in 2023. (You know the one.) Since Grainge, Margot Robbie, Emily Ratajkowski, and Gigi Hadid wore it nonstop in summer '23, we've patiently awaited the arrival of its successor. Lucky for us, Grainge just delivered its playful younger sister on a French platter.

Grainge's finishing touches will be familiar to anyone keeping tabs on A-listers' summer style. Perhaps inspired by other The Row girls, the label's popular Dune flip-flops peeked out from underneath her bottoms. She chose the $690 version with black rubber soles and red V-shaped ribbon straps, recently worn by Zoë Kravitz. Then, the new mom tapped into the hair scarf trend with a black-and-white wrap, which shielded her head from sunburn. Finally, she accessorized with Saint Laurent Jeanne Sunglasses—her official Euro summer shades.

The model stacked an impressive number of designer labels into a single vacation snap, but it's her Miu Miu tote that has the freshest It-item potential–and the heftiest price tag. Just like the Prada predecessor, Miu Miu's striped, yellow, cream, and brown crochet bags all retail for four figures ($1,950, specifically). But if this sequel is as good as the original (which Waller believes it will be), the Ivy is worth the splurge.

On June 12, Sweeney paused her Echo Valley press tour to celebrate the re-opening of Miu Miu's store in Mayfair, London. To no surprise, her stylist, Molly Dickson dressed her in head-to-toe Miu Miu for the A-list affair, starting with a pink satin mini dress fresh from the label's Fall 2025 show. Just like the runway model, the thigh-length babydoll had a slouchy feel, as the spaghetti straps fell loosely off her shoulders. A delicate bra peeked out from underneath the V-shaped neckline. Then, she added a black belt around her waist.

In lieu of a jacket, Sweeney took cues from the catwalk with a brown fur stole draped effortlessly around her elbows—never mind the sweltering early-summer temperatures in London.

Next, the 27-year-old slipped into sheer gray socks, which stretched above her knees. Fashion enthusiasts know this was the Fall 2025 collection's leading motif, as models sported black, beige, ivory, purple, and even turquoise hosiery. In true Miu Miu form, she paired them with strappy leather slingback heels, also from the French label. On the other hand, the model wore brown pointy pumps with no additional embellishments.

Instead of the green top-handle tote seen on the runway, Sweeney carried Gigi Hadid's favorite Miu Miu accessory: the Arcadie bag. The $3,700 purse is available in three sizes; the A-lister chose the largest, complete with an east-west body and textured stitching. Miu Miu's Glimpse Sunglasses in black finished her OOTN.

Sweeney wasn't the only celeb to make their mark in Miu Miu last night. Alexa Chung also understood the assignment. On the initial layer, the model styled an upcycled slip dress, adorned with satin and lace lining. Then, she layered a cropped track jacket overtop for extra warmth. Similar to her Vera Wang ballgown from June 4, Sweeney looked every bit a princess in mostly Miu Miu, starting with a bespoke icy blue dress.

Sweeney's bodice was fitted with criss-cross straps meeting in a halter neckline and a triangular chest cutout. Multiple layers of silk organza made up the floor-length skirt, while a slightly-longer train flowed behind her.

Given the design's intricate neckline, Sweeney skipped a necklace altogether. Instead, she popped on elongated diamond earrings, matching bangles, and rings courtesy of David Morris. Her voluminous skirt hid her footwear, but knowing Sweeney, she likely chose Jimmy Choo pumps to match the dress's cool-toned blue.

Once the curtain closed on the London premiere, Sweeney slipped into something more comfortable for the after-party. To no surprise, it was another Miu Miu moment, this time from the atelier's public catalog.

Miu Miu was created by Miuccia Prada to be the cooler younger sibling of Prada, which makes one stop and wonder how conservative tartans and waxed barn jackets play into that vibe. But this kind of nostalgic dressing has been everywhere this season—as seen on the brand's Fall 2024 runway—and the Miu Miu Balmoral collection gives a slightly edgier twist to what's typically seen as a more, well, grandma-like style.

While Elizabeth was known for carrying her signature sleek, black Launer handbags, couldn't you just imagine her toting a top-handled tartan Miu Miu style for a country outing?

According to the brand, its Balmoral line is full of "character and discreet nostalgia," two traits that just scream Queen Elizabeth.

Of course, not everything falls into the pearls-and-cardigans category, with the label's classic nylon windbreaker introduced in new brown and bright red hues as part of the Balmoral collection. And some of the styles give a more oversized menswear twist to classic pieces like a chunky cardigan.

As of Oct. 1, a number of the heritage-inspired pieces—like a plaid kilt that feels very Elizabeth—aren't available online just yet, but we'll be patiently waiting to add some of these to cart. I'll take one tartan bag, please and thank you.

Hilary Swank walking for Miu Miu was something I never expected to see at Paris Fashion Week, but as soon as she hit the runway I had a visceral reaction. The Million Dollar Baby star has been working steadily since the '90s, yet remained largely out of the spotlight over the last five to ten years. It was like seeing a long lost friend across the subway platform, if your long lost friend just so happened to have two Academy Awards under her belt.

Celebrity casting is a fashion month mainstay, of course. Queer pop star Troye Sivan walked the Spring 2024 runway for Miu Miu. Prior to that, the Fall 2023 show was opened by Mia Goth and closed by Emma Corrin. The Italian fashion house even got FKA Twigs to appear on the Spring 2023 catwalk. Miu Miu's affinity for young talent is central to the brand's DNA. Which makes the decision to tap 50-year-old Swank—along with 69-year-old Poor Things actor Willem Dafoe—for this season's presentation even more delicious.

Between looks championing the sporty-chic windbreaker trend, Swank hit the catwalk in a chocolate brown patent leather trench coat wrapped with not one but three belts: a silver floral filigree chain belt, a gold chain belt held together by ovular rings, and a brown leather belt with an oversize buckle. The reflective trench was accessorized with a pair of bubblegum pink patent leather slides that featured a gray sock-like knit panel. Swank seemingly wore very little makeup apart from foundation, blush, and lip balm for a look reminiscent of 57-year-old model Pamela Anderson's "raw, no makeup" era. Interestingly, Anderson debuted her bare-faced prerogative at Paris Fashion Week two years ago, in October 2023.

In any case, I'm thrilled to see famed creative director Miuccia Prada using her platform to hard-launch the Hilary Swank renaissance. Truly, her appearance at Paris Fashion Week couldn't have been more cleverly timed. Last week, Deadline broke the news that Swank will be a recurring star in the forthcoming third season of Yellowjackets, with the chance to become a series regular in the fourth season if the show is renewed. The bad news is that season three was delayed by strikes and won't premiere on Showtime until next year, but her stunning runway debut should be more than enough to tide me over in the meantime.

Sydney Sweeney has stunned her fans with a new series of "chaotic" mirror selfies.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, the Euphoria star showed off a barely-there skirt set from Miu Miu, consisting of a brown paisley micro mini-skirt and matching top—which she rolled in on itself to wear it as a tube top of sorts. The result was a summer-ready skin-baring outfit that looked absolutely beautiful on the star.

She finished the look with an ecru Miu Miu canvas tote bag, to which she tied a matching brown bandana. Also, a sky blue matelassé shoulder bag from the Italian designer was clearly visible in the background.

The actress captioned the post, "i dont do mirror selfies often but when i do they are chaotic," and fellow movie star Julianne Moore commented, "Hi cutie"

On Friday, February 9, Prada and L’Oréal announced they have entered a long-term agreement for the creation, development, and distribution of luxury beauty products under the Miu Miu brand. The first step in the plan—new fragrances developed and distributed by L'Oréal Luxe—is set to launch in 2025.

"We are excited to announce this partnership with a distinctive and leading beauty player such as L’Oréal. This new chapter will sustain the brand’s growth and help to further untap Miu Miu’s full potential in the category," Miu Miu CEO Benedetta Petruzzo said in a press release.

While the beloved brand currently has a number of fragrances available, they were developed with multinational beauty company Coty. The new move is the latest step in the Prada's happy partnership with L'Oréal. The two companies formerly collaborated on the successful launch of Prada's Color and Skin lines in January.

“Over the past years, we have successfully established a very strong partnership with Prada teams. We are now thrilled to welcome Miu Miu and unleash together its outstanding potential in beauty," Cyril Chapuy, President of L'Oréal Luxe, shared. "With its unique positioning, fueled by limitless creativity and experimentation, Miu Miu will perfectly complement L’Oréal Luxe’s portfolio of iconic brands and reinforce our worldwide leadership in Fragrances."

Miu Miu is the latest luxury brand to make moves in beauty. Just yesterday, Kering announced that in-house fragrances for Bottega Veneta, Alexander McQueen, and Balenciaga are in the early stages of development.
