Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have closely guarded their children’s privacy for many years. From clever crops, back-of-the-head shots, and creative posing, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have managed to share some photos of their children without ever really showing the world what Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet look like.

While some argue that any photos of their children are still a privacy concern, the truth remains that no one outside of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s inner circle really knows what Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet look like. After over six years of limiting their public exposure, all of that is about to change as Prince Harry is reportedly returning to the United Kingdom with Meghan Markle, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet in tow.

Prince Harry confirmed his plans to return to the U.K. with his family in July, to mark the 1-year countdown to the Invictus Games in Birmingham. The pre-tournament events have been a driving force in creating excitement and publicity for the big games, which take place July 10-17, 2027. While there is no word if Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will spend any time with grandfather King Charles, or Uncle Prince William and Aunt Princess Kate—much less their only three cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—any Royal Family reunions are likely to be private and closely guarded.

Despite years of protecting Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s privacy, and ensuring they are safe and protected, a return to the U.K. creates an unprecedented public experience for the two young American royals. Given the high publicity of the pre-tournament Invictus Games events, and the excitement of seeing Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet back in the United Kingdom, it seems inevitable that photos of their little faces will emerge—whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle want them to, or not.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry didn't share many glimpses of Prince Archie as a baby, but on Wednesday, May 6, the Duchess of Sussex treated fans to a throwback photo to celebrate Archie's birthday.

"7 years later…happy birthday to our sweet boy 🤍" she wrote, sharing an image of her hand holding a printed photo featuring Prince Harry holding a newborn Archie. In the picture, the Duke of Sussex appears to be propped up in bed with the baby fast asleep under a blanket on his chest.

In a second photo, Prince Archie and his sister, Princess Lilibet, stand with their backs to the camera as they wade in water and take in a stunning mountain view.

While Prince Archie has only attended one public event, joining his parents to meet Archbishop Desmond Tutu during their tour of South Africa in 2019, Meghan occasionally shares glimpses of the 7-year-old and his sister on social media now that she's back on Instagram.

The children have starred in videos and photos for Meghan's As ever brand, like a behind-the-scenes Reel she shared in March, and appeared in the Sussex family's California Christmas card in December. They've also helped the duchess make sweet treats to celebrate holidays like Valentine's Day and pitched in at a private volunteering event with Archewell last Thanksgiving.

Archie's birthday also marks another special day on the royal calendar, with King Charles celebrating the third anniversary of his coronation on May 6 with a garden party at Buckingham Palace.

Meghan Markle is celebrating Mother’s Day a little bit early, and with a special nostalgia for her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. For their special Mother’s Day gift box, As Ever has created a Signature Candle Collection with a special meaning. The candles are titled No. 506—for Archie’s birthday, May 6—and No. 604—for Lilibet’s birthday, June 4th—and are inspired by a “special memory” Meghan Markle has with her children. In an emotional letter accompanying the gift set, Meghan Markle explained that the products are inspired by “the memorable moments of motherhood.”

“I developed these scents over the last year so that every note melded together to take me right back to a special memory with them,” the Duchess of Sussex wrote. “I can light this candle, close my eyes, and I'm right there. Afternoons in the garden picking flowers with Lili; the coziest nights snuggled up with Archie.” No. 506 features notes of ginger, neroli, and cashmere while No. 604 has scents of amber, water lily, and santal.

Alongside the candles, the collection features a special Mother’s Day Compartes Chocolate Box filled with caramel chocolate with marigold flower sprinkles. The chocolates feature the words 'As ever' written in edible gold lettering in Meghan’s signature calligraphy. The collection is available to purchase on the As Ever website from April 22.

“I hope that wherever you are, and whoever you're with, that you're feeling loved and celebrated,” Meghan Markle shared with customers ahead of Mother’s Day on May 10. Last year, the Duchess of Sussex shared a sweet message on Instagram to mark the holiday. “Cheers to juggling it all with joy!” she wrote, alongside a picture of her juggling both Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in her arms. “Being your mom is the greatest privilege of my life,” Markle shared, writing “I, too, ‘love you more than all the stars in all the sky, all the raindrops, and all the salt on all the french fries in all the world’.”

Late last year, King Charles announced his decision to demote his brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, following renewed interest in the former Duke of York's friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Having already evicted Andrew from Royal Lodge in Windsor, The King is reportedly facing another rather big decision regarding his brother's future.

Writing for the Daily Mail, royal expert Richard Eden shared that some allegedly "dark, disturbing rumors" are "being whispered from Buckingham Palace." He explained, "I'm disgusted by the Andrew saga...what I'm now hearing is truly immoral."

Referencing Mountbatten-Windsor's recent arrest, Eden wrote, "Andrew remains eighth in line to the throne and, unbelievably, is still a counsellor of state. This means he is, in theory at least, one of seven members of the Royal Family legally entitled to deputize for the monarch if he is unwell or indisposed."

According to Eden, when he's enquired about "why this has not been addressed," he has only received "disturbing" answers.

Per the royal expert, "One tells me that it is because The King is deeply reluctant to 'meddle' with the line of succession." According to Eden, one source told him, "[Charles] thinks it would be opening up a can of worms...For example, if Andrew is removed, would his daughters have to be, too? He thinks they are blameless and do not deserve to be punished."

Eden further explained, "Another source tells me The King does not want to do anything which could be seen as prejudicial to his brother." The source reportedly elaborated, "If he strips him of his place in the line of succession, this could be interpreted as a sign that he thinks Andrew is guilty."

Eden encouraged King Charles to act by removing Andrew from the line of succession immediately, writing, "Both of these excuses are concerning. The King needs to take control of the crisis surrounding his brother."

Royal watchers will be eagerly awaiting King Charles's decision regarding Andrew's place in the line of succession. For now, though, Andrew appears to have retreated from the royal spotlight entirely.

After years of court battles, Prince Harry's U.K. security could be reinstated in the near future. After a new review of the Duke of Sussex's taxpayer-funded police protection, sources have claimed that the royal is feeling confident about the situation—and that he's hoping for a reunion with his children and King Charles.

A source close to the Sussexes told the Mail on Sunday that when it comes to reinstating Harry's security, "It's now a formality." The insider continued, "Sources at the Home Office have indicated that security is now nailed-on for Harry."

In December, the duke was granted a full risk assessment by the U.K.'s Home Office, a move that came as a surprise to many since Prince Harry lost his appeal to reinstate his security last year. The last time Harry received a risk assessment was in 2020 when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as senior working royals.

During his September 2025 visit to the U.K., a known stalker got close to Prince Harry on two occasions, prompting the duke to write to the U.K.'s Home Secretary and ask for his security to be reconsidered.

Once Prince Harry's risk assessment is complete, the U.K.'s Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC) will make the final decision on his case. A ruling is expected in the coming weeks.

The Duke of Sussex has been open about how his lack of security in the U.K. has prevented him from bringing wife Meghan Markle and kids Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, back to his home country.

"If you knew about the kind of threats Harry and his children have been getting, then you would understand why he doesn't want to bring the kids over until police protection is granted," an insider told the Mail on Sunday.

The children have not seen their grandfather, King Charles, since 2022, when they visited during Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee. If Prince Harry's police protection is reinstated, it would open doors for Archie and Lilibet to visit the U.K. once again.

But according to one source, the duke has also "made it clear that he would love his dad to come and visit him and the family" in California, according to the Sun. "He knows that they are strained, but he has mentioned several times a hope that his father can have a relationship with his grandchildren," the insider added.

American-born Princess Lilibet might live an ocean away from her British cousin Princess Charlotte, but she shares at least one thing in common with the 10-year-old royal, as displayed in the Sussex family's 2025 holiday photo.

Meghan Markle shared a sweet snapshot with the Duke of Sussex and their kids on Instagram on Friday, December 19, writing, "Happy Holidays! From our family to yours." In the image, Prince Harry, Prince Archie, Princess Lilibet and Meghan pose on a rustic bridge over a stream, with the children's faces concealed from the camera.

Four-year-old Lilibet wears a sleeveless blue J.Crew dress in the photo, with the sold-out jacquard style featuring bow trim at the waist and a tulle ruffle hem. But it was her adorable shoes that stole the show in the photo, with Lili wearing white knee socks with a pair of cap-toed silver-and-black Mary Janes by London-based brand La Coqueta.

Princess Charlotte has also worn shoes from the brand, which was founded by Spaniard Celia Muñoz. Prince William and Princess Kate often dress their children in Spanish brands, perhaps because of their Spanish-born nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo.

In 2022, Charlotte wore a pair of white sandals from La Coqueta during her first solo engagement with her parents at the Commonwealth Games. Prince Louis has also worn the brand when he was a baby, sporting an embroidered blue and white set in the family photos for The King's 70th birthday.

As for the rest of the Sussex family, the Duchess of Sussex looked breezy in a sleeveless white dress in their holiday photo, pairing it with black slingback flats.

Archie and Lili didn't make an appearance in the family's second card, which was also released on December 19. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's official card featured a photo of the couple from the Invictus Games in Canada earlier this year, and was sent in conjunction with a name change for their Archewell Foundation.

The foundation will henceforth be known as Archwell Philanthropies, with a statement on the Archewell website reading, "After five beautiful years, the Archewell Foundation is becoming Archewell Philanthropies. This charitable entity allows the couple and their children to expand upon their global philanthropic endeavors as a family."

Prince Harry has been fighting to reinstate his police protection in the U.K. ever since he stepped down as a senior working royal and moved to California in 2020. In May, the Duke of Sussex lost his court case challenging the removal, but on Monday, December 8, he received some positive news. As reported by the Sun, Prince Harry has won a Home Office review and there will be a further investigation into why he was stripped of his 24-hour armed security when he visits home.

The Duke of Sussex has stated that this lack of protection is why he doesn't feel safe bringing his wife, Meghan Markle, or their children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, to the U.K. Because of the situation, the kids have not seen grandpa King Charles since Queen Elizabeth's 2022 Platinum Jubilee.

According to the Sun, the "Royal and VIP Executive Committee (Ravec) has now instructed its Risk Management Board to reassess his threat level for the first time in nearly six years." The outlet added that the review is currently in process, "with evidence taken from police, government and Harry’s team."

In an interview with the BBC after losing his High Court case in May, the Duke of Sussex shared that he "would love" to reconcile with King Charles and Prince William. However, he added, "I can't see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the U.K. at this point."

In the 2024 documentary Tabloids on Trial, Harry elaborated on his feelings, explaining, "all it takes is one lone actor" to put himself or his family in danger.

During his recent trip to the U.K. in September, the Duke of Sussex reunited with King Charles for the first time in more than a year-and-a-half. However, a known stalker came within feet of Harry on not one, but two occasions during the visit.

Per the Sun, a decision on Prince Harry's security is expected "next month." If the new Risk Management Board assessment turns in Harry's favor, it could clear the path for Archie and Lilibet to travel with their parents to the U.K.—and reunite with their grandpa.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are starting off the holiday season by supporting their local community, and they brought their kids along for the very first time. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet made their charity event debut alongside the rest of the Archewell Team at Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles. Together, they prepped ingredients, baked cookies, and packaged meals “for community members experiencing food insecurity.”

In a post titled “Honoring the Season through Service,” the Archewell website shared their ongoing commitment to “putting compassion into action—serving and uplifting communities locally and globally.” The Foundation shared, “as we head into the holiday season, we celebrate those working every day to ensure that no one is left behind and where the needs of our neighbors are met.”

Meghan Markle posted a video slideshow on Instagram, captioned “Show Up, Do Good,” and featuring subtle photos of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet mixing and rolling out cookie dough. The charity visit is the first major charity event that Archie and Lili have attended with their parents.

The Duchess of Sussex has always had a passion for helping others during the holidays. In a feature for The Tig, her now-defunct lifestyle website, Meghan shared her traditions of “buying turkeys for homeless shelters at Thanksgiving, delivering meals to patients in hospice care, donating any spare change in their pocket to those asking for it, and performing quiet acts of grace—be it a hug, a smile, or a pat on the back to show ones in need that they would be alright.”

Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, set an example early, just as Meghan and Harry are doing now for Archie and Lilibet. Speaking of her own experience, Meghan said, “this is what I grew up seeing, so that is what I grew up being, a young adult with a social consciousness to do what I could.”

As the fallout from the latest round of revelations about Prince Andrew's ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein continues, the disgraced royal has lost his royal honors and titles—including his "Prince" title, which Buckingham Palace declared very publicly in a release on Thursday, October 30, announcing that King Charles had "initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew," who "will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor"—and his longtime royal residence, Royal Lodge, the 30-room Windsor mansion he's lived in since 2003, which he is being evicted from, according to the Palace.

Even though the King's decision to strip Andrew of his titles and not permitting him to continue living in a property owned by the Crown Estate is a move that firmly distances the scandal-laden former prince from the monarchy going forward, some irreparable damage to the royal family's legacy has clearly already been done.

According to royal author Christopher Wilson, the casualties of Andrew's scandal probably includes an entire dukedom.

In a column for the Daily Mail, Wilson predicted a grim future for the Dukedom of York in the aftermath of Andrew's scandals.

"He's splattered mud all over a noble 600 year old title and ruined it for future generations," Wilson wrote. "The name Duke of York, first granted in 1385, has traditionally been reserved for the second son of the king. Now it will disappear, maybe for good."

Many royal fans have wondered in recent weeks if Prince Louis—Prince William's second son—will inherit the Duke of York title when his father becomes king, but Wilson doesn't think that's likely at this point.

"In time, seven-year-old Prince Louis might have inherited it on Andrew’s demise," the royal author wrote in his Daily Mail column. "But now the disgraced peerage will be stuck in a drawer, along with other royal dukedoms that have been sullied by their holder over the centuries."

Whatever the ultimate future of the Dukedom of York may prove to be, it is still, for the time being at least, attached to two members of the royal family: Andrew's daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, whose full titles, Wilson points out, still officially include "of York." Wilson suggests that could change, however, when William becomes king.

"The York moniker will live on—for the time being—in Andrew’s daughters, who style themselves Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie of York," he wrote. "But there’s no guarantee they will cling to those titles in future years when Prince William becomes king."

It's no secret that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have strong feelings about the impact of technology on kids and young people.

Last year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex founded The Parents' Network to support families who have suffered from the harmful effects of social media and in April, while they were in NYC for the TIME100 Summit, the couple unveiled the Lost Screen Memorial, which is dedicated to young people lost too soon as a result of the harmful impact of social media.

So, when Harry made a surprise appearance on the October 29 episode of the Hasan Minhaj Doesn't Know podcast to talk candidly about, among other things, his home life with Meghan and their two children, Archie, 6 and Lilibet 4, it made sense that the conversation turned to the Sussexes' plans for handling technology and parenting.

Host Hasan Minhaj, who is father of two himself, was direct when it came to addressing the issue with the royal.

"I don't know if you guys have hit this crossroads yet, but what are you going to do when your kids ask for a cell phone?" he asked Harry during the interview. "Are you going to give them a phone? Have you talked to Meghan about this, cause I've talked to my wife about this."

"We talk about it a lot," Harry admitted (per People). "I think that because of what we know now, we will be way more cautious and hesitant of allowing our kids to have access to social media, but the problem is, so many parents don't have that awareness."

"Because in no logical, fair, ethical, moral world, should a parent have to consider this app, that sits on the phone—which by the way, having a phone for your kid is a really important thing—but the moment that you give them the gateway to everything else, kids will be kids," the royal continued.

Minhaj pressed the issue, mentioning his own daughter—who is seven—is getting older and asking Harry what he and Meghan plan to do when their own kids "hit that 8, 9, 10 place" and admitting, "I don't know what to do because I feel like I'm being opted in."

Harry acknowledged the pressure on parents to let their kids opt-in to technology and the very real benefits of kids having phones for family communication purposes. To balance those factors, the Duke of Sussex hinted that he and Meghan might opt to go "old-school" and get flip phones for their kids—if the social media and technology landscape hasn't changed for the better by then, that is.

"You're right, a lot of parents feel as if they don't have a choice, and a lot of kids don't have a choice. Because the reality is, if you're talking about just having a smart phone and an old-school phone are two very different things," Harry said. "If you want to be able to contact your kid, maybe we should just be giving them the old-school phone… but I think that our goal has to be to make sure that when our children get to that age, that the situation now isn't the situation then. There's no reason why it should be."

Harry also acknowledged the reality that keeping kids off smartphones and social media can, in and of itself, make them targets for bullying at school "because they're the only person not on the platform."

Minhaj asked Harry what he thinks the right age to allow kids to join social media is, declaring, "For me, it's 35."

For Harry, the answer isn't a specific age, but a developmental milestone.

"I think once your brain is properly formed," he said. "Once you are starting to learn who you are."

While Minhaj admitted that he wished his own kids would stay off social media until they're in college, Harry said that, while that would be a "sensible" rule formalize, realistically, it would be hard to regulate.

"Twenty-one is a sensible age, but the companies won't ever allow that," Harry said. "They will throw tens of millions of dollars to lobby against that."

If you ever happen to have a business call scheduled with Prince Harry, be prepared for adorable interruptions.

During an appearance on the October 29 episode of the Hasan Minhaj Doesn't Know podcast, the royal and father of two spoke candidly about his home life—including his children's tendency to "just barge in" when he's on calls.

Like many working parents, Harry frequently has to juggle work and home life. When work has to take priority, he heads to the home office he shares with his wife, Meghan Markle at their house in Montecito, California—and, according to People, the couple's two children, Prince Archie, 6, and daughter Princess Lilibet, 4, like to follow and even hop on calls he takes.

When the subject of work and his kids came up, host Hasan Minhaj asked Harry the obvious burning question: "What do your kids think you do?"

"They know that we help other people, but they don't know the background," Harry said, referring to the charitable work he and Meghan do.

The pair joked back and forth a bit before Minhaj brought the question back up, asking "When you're like, 'Daddy's on a call,' what do they think?"

According to Harry, like most four- and six-year-olds, they really don't care what he does for work.

"All they're interested in is saying hi to the people on the call," he admitted. "Or they're fascinated to see other people. They love seeing familiar faces."

And they see those faces—both familiar and new—up close and personal when they decide to full-on crash his calls, which the Duke of Sussex admits happens "occasionally."

"They will run in and kind of, occasionally, there's the moment with the hand on the forehead, saying, 'Not now,'" he explained. "But then they just jump on the lap and say, 'Hi guys!'"

Archie and Lilibet have also gotten a close-up look at some of their mom's work, as Meghan revealed in an Instagram post earlier this fall highlighting some behind-the-scenes moments from filming season 2 of her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan.

Before Prince Andrew married Sarah Ferguson, his best-known relationship was with American actress Koo Stark. But many royal fans might not realize that he spent two terms of his school life living in Canada when he was just 16—a time when Andrew fell for a fellow teenager, Sandi Jones. Prince Andrew met Jones when he watched Princess Anne compete in the 1976 Montreal Olympics, and six months later, the couple reunited when he attended an exchange program at Lakefield College School in Ontario, Canada. It was a significant relationship for Jones—who would go on to attend Prince Andrew and Ferguson's wedding.

According to Andrew Lownie, author of Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, the young prince "began spending nearly every weekend" with Jones during his time at Lakefield College. Like his father, Prince Philip, and brother, Prince Charles, Andrew attended Gordonstoun School in Scotland, and Lakefield also focused on "community service and outdoor activity."

"In a way he quite resented being a prince," Jones told the author. "He hated the fact that he was marked out for attention, that he could never be on his own...the fact that his royal bodyguard always followed him around got on top of him."

In the book War Of The Windsors: The Inside Story Of Charles, Andrew And The Rivalry That Has Defined The Royal Family, author Nigel Cawthorne wrote that Jones taught Prince Andrew to do a dance called "The Bump" and he "managed to ditch his protection officer" while on the ski slopes to "spend time alone with Sandi."

"On one summer’s evening, as they sat in the silence of the wilderness, he asked her to marry him and run away with him to Gretna Green," Cawthorne wrote. "But in their hearts they both realised it was an impossible dream."

The topic of marriage came up again just before Andrew's own wedding day. Jones was invited to the wedding, and when she was interviewed before the celebration, Andrew's ex-girlfriend didn't hold back her true feelings.

"Were we lovers? Use your imagination," Jones said, per Lownie. "We were very, very close. As close as any couple can ever be. I still love him. I'd marry him tomorrow if he asked me."

Other than the occasional glimpses on Instagram, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry keep their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, out of the spotlight. But on Thursday, October 23, the Duchess of Sussex shared some insights into her life at home with Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, during an event at Godmothers bookstore in Summerland, California.

Meghan was on hand to support her college friend Courtney Adamo, who was promoting her new book, The Family Home—and the book's theme prompted the duchess to share some of her own rituals at her Montecito home.

"First thing I do when I wake up in the morning is turn the music on in the house," Meghan shared. The Duchess of Sussex also spoke about how she likes to ask her kids about the high and low points of their day through a "rose and thorn" routine, which Lilibet seems to be especially enthusiastic about.

"Our daughter, she's four, and she's a very strong personality and she's incredible," Meghan said. "And now she's in this moment where I say, 'What's your rose and your thorn?' And she goes, 'My day was just a blast!'"

The duchess also told the audience at Godmothers about their "healing blanket," a gift from the store's co-founder, Victoria Jackson. Meghan shared that Archie and Lilibet cuddle with the cozy blanket when they aren't feeling well.

With the holidays coming up, Lilibet and Archie are surely getting ready for plenty of family fun. When hosting, Meghan said that she likes to greet guests while wearing an "apron" and no shoes. "It demystifies," she said. "People walk in and go, ‘Oh, she’s in this with me.’ And what are they drawn to? Your kitchen. They come right in, and suddenly everyone’s a little bit softened."

Last fall, the duchess told Marie Claire that "every year it gets better" celebrating Christmas with her kids. "At first, I think as a mom with children you’re just enjoying having them there, but they’re not understanding everything that’s happening yet," she said. "But now we’re at the age where I just can’t wait to see it through their lens every year."

Following her appearance at the Mental Health Day Festival in New York City, Duchess Meghan took to Instagram to share new footage of her daughter Princess Lilibet, along with a sweet mother-daughter snap. The Duchess of Sussex also promised to protect Lilibet's rights, no matter what.

On Saturday, October 11, Meghan Markle shared a new Instagram post in honor of International Day of the Girl. She shared a short video clip of Lilibet running around in their garden, along with a photo of mother and daughter holding hands.

"To all the girls—this world is yours," the caption explained. "Do everything you can to protect your rights, use your voice, support each other. We will do the same for you." Meghan continued, "It's your right and our responsibility." The royal completed her caption by writing, "Go get 'em girl!"

In the sweet photo of Meghan and Lilibet, the little princess could be seen wearing a pink T-shirt with a pair of leggings, and holding her beloved Jellycat Amuseable Rainbow Bag, which retails for $40. Princess Charlotte is also a huge fan of the cute and cuddly brand—a fact dad Prince William has spoken about on multiple occasions.

On October 10, Duchess Meghan attended the Mental Health Day Festival, which was organized by Project Healthy Minds. Taking to the stage, the Duchess of Sussex introduced a panel titled, "How the Great Rewiring of Childhood Caused an International Mental Health Crisis, And How We Can Reverse It." While speaking to the audience, Meghan called the topic "one of the most urgent questions facing families today: what's happening to childhood and how and what do we do to allow our children to just be children."

Rumors circulating online about the royal family is nothing rare. Members of the royal family going on the record to address online rumors, however, doesn't happen every day.

Over the weekend, a rumor worthy of royal comment made the rounds online following a report from the Daily Beast that claimed the Duke of Sussex had registered his son at his alma mater, Eton College, a boarding school in the U.K. with a long history of ties to the royal family.

On Wednesday, Sept. 24, a spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shut down the the rumors that Harry had registered Archie at Eton, which is located near Windsor and is widely-believed to be the school Harry's oldest nephew, Prince George, will attend when he turns 13.

“I can confirm that the Duke has not put his son’s name down for Eton and has no plans to send his son there,” the spokesperson told People.

In addition to the Daily Beast report, a separate report from the Daily Mail fueled the rumor about Archie attending Eton, quoting a source described as one of Harry's "pals" who claimed that Harry expressed wanting his children to go to the U.K. to attend school.

"I can tell you that Harry wants to educate the children here in the U.K.," the source told the Daily Mail's Richard Eden.

The Daily Mail source went on to claim that Harry "feels his children are missing out on the extensive family network that their niece and nephews are enjoying," referring to six-year-old Archie and four-year-old Lilibet's royal cousins, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.

"Harry wants his children to have the very best education," the source claimed. "He has retained his closest friendship group of confidants from his days at school at Ludgrove and Eton. He wants that for his own children."

Although the Daily Mail source's claims seem to be incorrect, they mirror statements Harry's longtime friend, singer Joss Stone, said he made when they caught up at the WellChild Awards earlier this month.

Speaking to Hello!, Stone said that Harry seemed "genuinely interested" in hearing about her family's recent move back to the U.K. and that the conversation gave her the impression that, "Maybe Harry will move back too. That would be nice."

Stone went on to say that she and Harry also discussed some of the specific benefits of raising children in the U.K.—and that education did come up.

"He was saying how wonderful the schools are here and how important community is for children," she added. "It was nice to share that with him because it’s exactly why we felt drawn to come back—for the kids to grow up surrounded by family, friends and a strong sense of belonging and most importantly in a safe environment."

During a brief visit to the U.K., Prince Harry reunited with his formerly estranged father, King Charles, for a "private tea" at Clarence House in London. Following their reunion, the Duke of Sussex told reporters that his dad was "great." Now, Harry has opened up about the long-awaited "reconciliation" in a new interview, and shared just how important it was to meet with his father, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2024.

In a Sept. 14 interview with The Guardian, the royal raised awareness about the ongoing conflict in the Ukraine, and also touched on his own personal life. "I have always loved the U.K. and I always will love the U.K.," Harry told the outlet. "It's been good to reconnect with the causes I am passionate about. I have been able to spend some time with people that I have known for so long. It is hard to do it from far away."

Although the Duke of Sussex declined to discuss his private meeting with Charles, he told The Guardian that—looking ahead to the next year—"the focus really has to be on my dad." And when asked whether he hoped to bring his children—Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet—to visit family members in the U.K., Harry said, "Yes I would. This week has definitely brought that closer."

The interview also gave Prince Harry a chance to hit back at his critics, as he told the outlet, "I think parts of the British press want to believe that I am miserable, but I'm not. I am very happy with who I am and I like the life that I live."

However, that doesn't mean Harry's life is always smooth sailing. "I have certainly had to deal with some very stressful events over the last four years," the Duke of Sussex noted. "There has been the uncertainty and stress of the litigation and finding out certain things that have really, really hurt."

As for his decision to write his memoir, Spare, Prince Harry explained how important it was to set the record straight about certain events in his life. "I don't believe that I aired my dirty laundry in public," the duke explained. "It was a difficult message, but I did it in the best way possible. My conscience is clear."

Essentially, Prince Harry is looking ahead to the future now, telling The Guardian, "you cannot have reconciliation before you have truth." Hopefully, the royal's recent U.K. visit is the first of many.

On Sept. 8, Prince Harry returned to the U.K., where he paid tribute to his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. The Duke of Sussex will also attend a number of important engagements during the trip, and is rumored to reunite with his father, King Charles. Plus, according to one of Harry's friends, the prince hasn't "given up hope" when it comes to bringing his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to England in the future.

Speaking to The Sunday Times, one of Prince Harry's close friends explained, "He's not given up hope on bringing his family back to the [United Kingdom]. He wants to be able to show his children where he grew up. He wants them to know their family here." The source continued, "He really would like to come back to the U.K. much more."

The friend also told the newspaper that Prince Harry hopes to "to have some fun" during his current visit.

Prince Harry lost his court battle regarding the removal of his private security earlier this year. Since then, the Duke of Sussex has expressed the very credible fear he has about traveling to the U.K. with his wife and young children.

In May 2025, he told the BBC, "I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious." He continued, "I can't see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the U.K. at this point."

As for whether or not Prince Harry will reunite with his dad, King Charles, during his current trip, one of the duke's friends told The Sunday Times, "He's made it absolutely clear he wants a reconciliation with his family. It's on them now."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Netflix deal is set to continue, with the two royals planning to work on a multitude of projects for the streamer. While a second season of With Love, Meghan is due to be released later this month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also drawing inspiration from their eldest child, Prince Archie, for a new project.

When Harry and Meghan announced their renewed Netflix deal on August 11, it was revealed that they're producing a new documentary, Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within. The documentary will focus on the Ugandan dance troupe Masaka Kids Africana, many of whom "have lost one or both parents through the devastation of war, famine, and disease."

A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed how the couple discovered the dance troupe, telling The Telegraph, "They would watch the videos regularly with Archie at home. So, they were already admirers of the organization before the film project came to them in 2023."

Elaborating on why Meghan and Harry wanted to help bring the documentary to the screen, their spokesperson told the outlet, "When the duke and duchess were made aware of the short, they quickly recognized the kids from their viral videos and fell in love with their deeper stories." They continued, "Archewell Productions then partnered with seasoned producer Geeta Gandbhir to harness the film's style and tone and ultimately finish the film as you see it today."

As well as finding inspiration in Prince Archie's favorite viral videos, Meghan and Harry have wide-ranging plans for their future at the streaming service. "We're proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As ever brand," Duchess Meghan explained in a statement announcing the renewed partnership. "My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision."

Following Queen Elizabeth II's death on September 8, 2022, her son King Charles became monarch. His coronation took place on May 6, 2023, and Charles appears to have embraced his new role with aplomb. However, according to a royal biographer, not everyone in the Royal Family believed Charles would make a "good king." In fact, the identity of Charles's doubter is heartbreaking.

In the book Philip: The Final Portrait, royal author Gyles Brandreth revealed that during a series of meetings with the late Queen's husband, Philip expressed a certain amount of "disdain" for his eldest son Charles (via the Daily Mail). According to Brandreth, there was a "touch of exasperation in his tone—and often, too, a note of sarcasm" whenever the topic of Charles, then the Prince of Wales, came up. "The Duke gave the impression that he would have liked his son to be more robust, less fey," Brandreth wrote.

Following the death of Princess Diana, from whom Charles was divorced, Prince Philip reportedly expressed his belief that his eldest son didn't have the "dedication necessary to make a good king," Brandreth wrote.

Brandreth isn't the first author to suggest that Prince Philip and King Charles had a difficult relationship. In Tim Clayton's 2001 book Diana: Story of a Princess, royal expert Penny Junor explained (via E! News), "Prince Philip is bluff, outspoken, hearty, tough, and something of a bully."

Junor continued, "He has no patience with his eldest son's soul-searching. Sensitivity is not one of the qualities he expects in a man, and although he undoubtedly has great affection for Prince Charles, he has spent a lifetime criticizing him and quietly undermining his self-esteem."

Prince Harry previously opened up about the significance of July 4 in his relationship with Meghan. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are growing up in the public eye, but that doesn't mean they'll lack manners. In fact, the Duchess of Sussex wants to ensure her two children recognize and appreciate the immense privilege they have. In a wide-ranging podcast appearance, Duchess Meghan elaborated on how she's raising Archie and Lilibet in Montecito, California.

During her appearance on the June 17 episode of the podcast Aspire with Emma Grede, Duchess Meghan revealed that she uses gardening to instill certain values in Archie and Lilibet. "There's a cost and a price for things, and I think that's key for children to understand, especially children who are very lucky to have a home, that has privilege, you need to know that just like manners, and taking care of the things around you, there is a value on things," The Duchess of Sussex explained (via the Express).

Discussing some of her parenting techniques, Meghan told Grede—Good American's co-founder, and a founding partner of Skims—"Gardening is really, really so great for children because it teaches them patience and teaches them to value and appreciate their food."

Meghan also highlighted how involved she is in her children's lives, which includes ensuring they eat healthy food. "The kids are down to bed at like 7ish," the Duchess of Sussex explained. "I can go downstairs, have a glass of wine, [and] I'm doing their little lunch. I find joy in it for whatever reason and it can be therapeutic. That, for me, is one of my simple pleasures."

Duchess Meghan continued, "This is such a key age. I don't want to miss a moment for my children, and I love that I can do drop off and pick up at school, and do meetings in between, and go to Disneyland for two days, as we just did."

Being pregnant is difficult enough, but carrying out your motherhood journey in the public eye is another story. On Tuesday, May 27, Meghan Markle looked back on her first pregnancy in the final episode of her new podcast, "Confessions of a Female Founder." The Duchess of Sussex spoke with Spanx founder Sara Blakely on the Lemonada Media show, recalling how being a senior member of the Royal Family came with some uncomfortable footwear.

Blakely recently launched a sneaker/heel hybrid called Sneex, and Meghan recalled what it was like wearing stilettos while pregnant with Prince Archie. The duchess, who was still living in the U.K. and serving as a working royal with Prince Harry, often made appearances in towering pumps during her pregnancy, which spanned from late 2018 to May 2019.

"A friend just said to me the other day, they were like, ‘I just saw this picture I’d forgotten about when you were so pregnant with Archie,'" Meghan said, revealing she "gained 65 pounds" both times she was pregnant.

"I always wear my five-inch, pointy-toed stilettos," she continued, adding her friend exclaimed, "'You have the most enormous bump and your tiny little ankles are bracing themselves in these high heels.'"

"But all of my weight was in the front," the duchess said. "So you’re just going, how on earth am I not just tipping, you know, face planting? I was clinging very closely to my husband, like, 'Please don’t let me fall.'"

While Prince Archie, now six, was born while the couple lived in Windsor and was presented to the media in an official photo call (heels included), Meghan could move through pregnancy more casually when she gave birth to 3-year-old Princess Lilibet in Santa Barbara, California.

Meghan still wears her signature heels these days, but mixes things up with casual moments at home. The Duchess of Sussex shared a sweet moment with Lilibet in an Instagram Reel on Tuesday as they donned matching beekeeper suits and gathered honey in their backyard—no formalwear required.

Meghan Markle got real about motherhood in the latest episode of her podcast, "Confessions of a Female Founder." A day after celebrating her seventh wedding anniversary with some sweet personal photos, the Duchess of Sussex spoke with Cassandra "Cassie" Thurswell, founder of viral beauty brand Kitsch. The duo—who met well before Meghan's royal days—shared how they were surprised by just how much being a mom was different than they expected, especially in terms of being an entrepreneur.

For the duchess, who is mom to Prince Archie—who turned six earlier this month—and Princess Lilibet, 3, life as a royal mom didn't turn out the way she'd planned.

"I will say, for myself, especially when they are baby babies and before I was a mom—I've always wanted to be a mom—I was like, 'Oh gosh I'm going to give a speech with a baby on my hip,'" the Duchess of Sussex said on her Lemonada Media podcast. "I had a whole vision.”

Prince Archie did come on tour to South Africa with Prince Harry and Meghan at just four months old, attending his first royal engagement with Archbishop Desmond Tutu. But, as the duchess explained, "external" factors changed what she thought royal motherhood would be like.

"Granted, I had a lot of external things happening by the time I had both pregnancies and both babies," she continued. "But it was not the way I envisioned it."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as senior working royals in 2020 and moved to Montecito, California, where Princess Lilibet was born. Since then, they've raised their children out of the public eye, although Prince Harry said he'd like his kids to attend the Invictus Games in the future.

Archie and Lilibet do make regular appearances on their mom's Instagram account, although she doesn't show their faces. Despite the challenges of raising two kids and building a business, Meghan shared on her podcast, "For me, it’s so important my kids see me as a working mom."

The Royal Family celebrated two big milestones on Tuesday, May 6, marking the second anniversary of King Charles III's coronation as well as Prince Archie's sixth birthday. The King and Queen unveiled their official coronation portraits to mark the occasion, while proud mom Meghan Markle shared an Instagram photo of little Archie on his golden birthday. For Prince Harry, the day also meant honoring a cause that's close to his heart.

The Duke of Sussex traveled to Las Vegas to support the Diana Award, the only charity created in honor of his late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales. Tuesday also marked the duke's first public appearance since his headline-making BBC interview last week, in which Harry discussed losing his appeal to reinstate his police protection in the U.K.—and his strained relationship with The King.

Prince Harry joined the Diana Award's CEO, Tessy Ojo— along with two Diana Award winners, Sikander ‘Sonny’ Khan and Christina Williams—to launch the charity's Pledge to Invest youth leadership initiative.

"This generation isn’t waiting for permission to lead— they are already doing it," the Duke of Sussex said during the panel discussion. "They bring emotional intelligence, social awareness, and an honesty about mental health that previous generations struggled to express. What sets them apart isn’t just their boldness, but their refusal to settle for the status quo."

He also praised today's youth for having "more empathy" than he's "ever seen before," adding when the younger generation will "stand up for themselves and stand up in their communities, that is what we need."

Last week, the Duke of Sussex spoke out after losing his years-long battle to reinstate his taxpayer-funded security in the U.K. In an official statement, Harry said he was "devastated" by the outcome of the case.

He also told the BBC that his father, King Charles, "won't speak to me because of this security stuff." However, the duke expressed a wish to move on from the situation with the Royal Family, noting he did "not know how much longer" The King has to live.

"I would love reconciliation with my family," Prince Harry said. "There's no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious."

Since Meghan Markle rejoined Instagram at the start of 2025, her children—Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet—have been featured multiple times on the platform. After Lilibet reviewed mom Meghan's jam, the Duchess of Sussex posted sweet photos of both of her children, with their gorgeous red hair standing out in the snaps.

With the launch of her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan—in which Prince Harry makes a brief appearance—the Duchess of Sussex has started sharing more photos and videos clips of her two kids. Princess Lilibet was also included when Duchess Meghan launched her lifestyle brand, As ever.

While attending the Invictus Games 2025 in Canada, Prince Harry opened up about his experience raising Lilibet and Archie in California, rather than in England. Speaking to Us Weekly, former rugby player Richie McCaw from New Zealand shared an endearing conversation he'd had with Harry about family. McCaw recalled, "I said, 'How things go?' And he goes, 'Well, life's going on pretty good.'" Prince Harry then reportedly told the rugby player, "Yeah, I can drop the kids off at school...without any issue."

Earlier this week, Duchess Meghan appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show, where she revealed that kids Archie and Lilibet have American accents, but they've been influenced by Prince Harry's British accent. "Some of the words that they still say with a British accent, so they'll say zebra [like the word 'Debra']," Meghan explained. "And what else do they say? They have these little moments where it comes out and because they have very American accents, but they say words that are just like him and I think it's adorable. Zebra is a good one."

Meghan also revealed how she prioritizes her children, even when she has an important engagement. "I always make it a point when I'm traveling, if I can't do bedtime stories with my kids—because Archie and Lili are just 3 and 5—so I'll always pack a really thin book and I'll videotape myself reading it," she told Barrymore. "So whoever's with them, Papa can say, 'Here's Mama reading your bedtime story!'"

The Royal Family has been busy showing off their relatable side in recent months, whether it's Prince Harry going surfing, Queen Camilla admitting to a relatable vacation habit or insiders revealing the relaxed rules surrounding Prince William and Princess Kate's staff. And although he's not always known as the most laid-back member of the family, King Charles has even been getting in on group hugs and impromptu dance parties. Now, in a pivot from his usual social media posts, King Charles has decided to reveal his Spotify Wrapped—well, the Apple Music version, anyway.

In a move that nobody saw coming, His Majesty is treating the public to "The King's Music Room" for Commonwealth Day 2025. The announcement—which was teased in a series of clever posts leading up to Friday, March 7—revealed that The King will be sharing some of his favorite songs to mark the holiday on Monday, March 10.

"Bringing together much-loved artists from across the Commonwealth, The King has shared a selection of songs which have brought him joy in ‘The King’s Music Room’ to mark Commonwealth Day 2025.🎙️" the Instagram Reel was captioned. In the video—which featured uniformed musicians playing Bob Marley's "Could You Be Loved" outside Buckingham Palace—The King noted how he would be sharing "songs which have brought me joy."

And Charles isn't just going to be dropping tracks—including everything from Kylie Minogue to Afrobeats tunes—he'll be giving "anecdotes of his personal experiences when explaining why each song was chosen."

Instagram followers were loving the new content, like one who wrote, in part, "Sir it is so wonderful that you have become a happy King," noting that his "early days" on the throne he was mourning his beloved mother, Queen Elizabeth.

"The king who enchants people with music, that is our King Charles of Magic!!! 🎼❤️🫶🫅🫶❤️🎼" another fan wrote, while a third added, "Did not have King Charles giving us a playlist on my 2025 bingo card. But I like it!! Can't wait to listen! 🎶💿🎧."

Along with The King's big musical announcement, the palace also confirmed that the Princess of Wales would be joining the Royal Family for Monday's Commonwealth Day celebration on Monday, the first time she's attended since 2023 following her cancer battle.

The King's Music Room will be available free on Apple Music on Monday, March 10 and through radio broadcasts on Apple Music 1 and Apple Music Hits through Tuesday, March 11.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seem very settled in their Montecito, California home, where they are raising their two children—Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. While attending the Invictus Games in Canada, Prince Harry spoke to a former rugby player and revealed what it's like raising kids in California.

Former rugby player Richie McCaw, who is from New Zealand, recounted his conversation with the Duke of Sussex to Us Weekly. "I said, 'How things go?' And he goes, 'Well, life's going on pretty good.'" According to McCaw, Harry explained, "Yeah, I can drop the kids off at school...without any issue."

McCaw continued, "And hey, we all take that for granted, don't we?...But tough situation to be in...however you look at it."

During the Invictus Games 2025, McCaw took a selfie with the Duke of Sussex, which he posted on Instagram. "Great to be in Vancouver supporting the wheelchair rugby at the Invictus Games this afternoon," he captioned the picture.

Discussing the photo, McCaw told Us Weekly, "We've rubbed shoulders with the Royal Family a few times." He continued, "I haven't spent a lot of time with Harry, but yeah, it was cool that you got to have a chat. And I didn't think a selfie like that would get so much attention."

Lilibet and Archie didn't accompany their parents to the Invictus Games 2025, but Duchess Meghan did celebrate her husband at an event prior to the opening ceremony. "I was not planning on speaking tonight, and we just arrived, I don't know, a couple of hours ago, and I touched Canadian soil and I went, 'Oh, it feels like home,'" the Duchess of Sussex explained (via Hello! magazine). "We are just thrilled to be here, and I would be remiss if I didn't take the opportunity to introduce someone who means a lot to me. And I know he means quite a lot to all of you."

Meghan ended her speech by telling the crowd, "I need you to know how much it means to him and how much each of you means to him. So it is my entire pleasure and complete honor to introduce to this stage my husband, the father of our very sweet, excited children, who will cheer you on from California."

Since rejoining Instagram earlier this year, Meghan Markle has started taking fans behind-the-scenes of her personal life. On Sunday, Feb. 23, Duchess Meghan posted a series of Instagram Stories filmed in the garden of her Montecito, California home. Perhaps the sweetest moment shared by the Duchess of Sussex involved her son, Prince Archie.

After showing viewers around the sunny garden with its budding trees, Meghan could be seen watering some plants. Although Prince Archie remained out of view, his hand could be seen taking the hose from his mom. "Mommy, I can do it if you want me to," Archie could be heard saying. "Only if you want," Duchess Meghan responded.

Royal fans were blown away by Prince Archie's voice appearing on his mom's Instagram. "Archie is such a mama's boy, always by her side and being her little helper," one X user wrote. "Also such a polite little man with his American accent."

Fans were also delighted to see Meghan wearing Princess Diana-approved weekend wear in her new Instagram Stories. The Duchess of Sussex selected a purple Northwestern University sweatshirt, just like the one Princess Diana famously wore in the '90s. The late princess wore her own sweatshirt with a pair of bike shorts, an off-duty clothing item she became famous for. Meghan, of course, attended Northwestern between 1999 and 2003, when she graduated with a double major in Theater and International Relations.

Earlier this month, Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry attended the Invictus Games Whistler Vancouver 2025. The former actress gave an impromptu speech about Prince Harry at a pre-opening ceremony event, sharing that her husband "means a lot to her." She also made a brilliant joke about her Suits character, Rachel Zane, at a Team USA breakfast.

Duchess Meghan left the Invictus Games early to return home to her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. As for why Harry and Meghan's kids didn't travel to Canada for the Invictus Games 2025, Hello! magazine's royal editor Emily Nash explained that Archie and Lilibet "are able to live a much more private life than their cousins" in the U.K., during an appearance on "A Right Royal Podcast." While that might change in the future, Nash noted, "I don't see why they would put them in that arena at this point."

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet made a surprise Valentine’s Day appearance in a video on mom Meghan Markle’s Instagram account, but the royal duo have yet to join their parents for an official outing together. However, Prince Harry hinted at when royal fans can expect to see his children in public in an interview with Town & Country on Friday, Feb. 14.

The Duke of Sussex, who has been attending the 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver and Whistler, Canada, this week, told the publication he “absolutely” intends to bring Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3, to the games for wounded, injured and sick military personnel eventually. “I’d love for them to experience the Invictus spirit firsthand one day,” the Duke of Sussex added.

Harry also opened up about the sense of community surrounding the games with Marie Claire, sharing how “what stands out most is the incredible sense of belonging and renewed purpose created in the lead-up to and during the Invictus Games."

This year, Archie and Lilibet stayed home in Montecito, California while their parents attended the event, enjoying some special Canadian treats their mom brought back when she returned on Feb. 11. Prince Harry will remain in Canada through Feb. 16, when the Invictus Games conclude.

The next Invictus Games will be held in Birmingham, England, in July 2027, which would make Archie eight and Lilibet six at the time of the event. However, as the Duke of Sussex's security concerns in the U.K. remain ongoing, he may choose to wait to bring his children to the games in another location.

The Duke of Sussex recently opened up about how he’s explained some of the disabilities and injuries Invictus athletes face. "It’s a very interesting conversation to have with your kids—to explain why that person is missing a leg, why that person is missing an arm, why do they look the way they do," he told People. "It’s challenging but important."

However, as he noted to Town & Country, the children are “still young,” so he’s tried to explain the games in an age-appropriate way. “We already talk about the importance of resilience, community and service—everything Invictus represents,” he shared.

As for Archie and Lilibet making a public appearance, big brother Archie has actually already been on a royal engagement. He attended his first event at the ripe old age of four months old in 2019, joining parents Harry and Meghan to meet Archbishop Desmond Tutu in South Africa.

It’s been a Valentine’s Day full of royal surprises after both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and Prince William and Princess Kate starred in romantic Instagram posts—and on Friday, Feb. 14, the Duchess of Sussex kept the sweet moments coming (along with some help from Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet).

Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3, had yet to feature on their mom’s new Instagram account, but they played a starring role in a new video the duchess shared on her Story. In the adorable clip, Meghan’s hands are shown cutting strawberries into heart shapes and arranging them on top of bagels covered in what appears to be strawberry cream cheese.

Princess Lilibet, wearing a sweatshirt covered in conversation hearts, helps out in the background as the duchess shows off a cake stand covered in the breakfast treats. Meghan then carries the spread (with their beagle, Mamma Mia, running at her feet) to the back door, where Prince Archie pulls back a red-and-pink tinsel curtain.

Little Archie is also dressed in the Valentine’s Day spirit in the video, wearing a red T-shirt and a seriously cute headband with heart-shaped bobbles on top.

Their V-Day bagels aren’t the only fun treats Archie and Lili got to enjoy this week. While the Sussex kids didn’t attend this year’s Invictus Games, the duchess—who left Canada a few days early to be with her children—brought back plenty of goodies, including chocolate candies, Tim Horton’s Timbits donuts and personalized Team Nigeria jerseys with their names on them.

The Duchess of Sussex also paid tribute to Prince Harry on Instagram today, writing, "Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games, changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families."

Meghan continued, "Beyond proud of my husband and what he’s created. My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever. Thank you for you."

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet might only be five and three, but they're already showing interest in one of their dad's biggest passions, the Invictus Games. The Duke of Sussex opened up to People about his "inquisitive" kids and what they've been asking him lately as he's been visiting Vancouver and Whistler, Canada for the 2025 games.

The duke, who founded the Invictus Games to give wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women the opportunity to compete in a variety of sports, told the mag that Archie and Lilibet were "fascinated" by the concept. The duo stayed back home in Montecito, California for the games (and received some fun Canadian treats from mom Meghan Markle) but apparently, they've been asking plenty of questions about Invictus.

"It’s a very interesting conversation to have with your kids—to explain why that person is missing a leg, why that person is missing an arm, why do they look the way they do," he said. "It’s challenging but important."

"Our kids are still so young, but Archie, especially, is asking those questions," the duke continued. "As any parent knows, once you open that door and those questions are asked, or that conversation starts, more and more doors start opening."

It's a topic the duke also discussed in a heartfelt video shared on social media this week. In the clip, Prince Harry sat in the audience at one of the Invictus Games events, chatting to a man about how Prince Archie was "asking about landmines." The duke explained that the conversation led him to share how Archie's late grandmother, Princess Diana, carried out charity work in that field.

"He then saw videos...he wanted to see videos and photographs of his grandma Diana out doing her thing for landmines all those years ago," Harry shared.

In his conversation with People, the duke expanded on Archie's "curious" nature. "And then he starts asking, 'How did they get injured? What’s a mine? What’s all this?'" Prince Harry said, adding, "It becomes opening Pandora’s box, to some extent, especially with kids this age, because they have no filter, and they’re just so curious and so inquisitive."

While the royal shared that kids "want to know more, more, more," he always frames things in a way they can understand. "I’m constantly trying to make sure that I get it right, in explaining what’s happened to [the competitors], and what we do at Invictus to try to make their lives better and give them a chance to redefine themselves. And the power of sport," the duke shared.

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet might have stayed home during the 2025 Invictus Games, but mom Meghan Markle made sure to bring them home "a taste of Canada."

The Duchess of Sussex shared a photo of the gifts she brought back for Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3, in a photo on her Instagram Story Feb. 12—and gave fans a look at the Sussex family's lush backyard in the process. The duchess—who flew home from Vancouver to be with her kids on Feb. 11—captioned the picture, "A taste of Canada and The Invictus Games for our little ones! Cheering you on from home!"

The snapshot revealed a wooden cutting board covered with a variety of treats, including an Invictus Games logo macaron and chocolate, some coconut balls and what appears to be white chocolate fudge in the shape of a mountain. Of course, no trip to Canada would be complete without a visit to Tim Hortons, and a box of its Timbits (Canada's answer to Dunkin' Munchkins) sat on the tray.

Along with the sweet treats, two green jerseys reading "Archie" and "Lilibet" sat folded on the counter. The custom gifts were given to the couple from Team Nigeria during a USA vs Nigeria wheelchair basketball game on Feb. 9, and the Duke of Sussex posed with the shirts in a sweet photo.

Nigerian team manager Derrick Cobbinah told People that the duchess was especially thrilled about the gifts. "We did one for him and one for M and for the kids," he told the outlet. "They said they would be excited to have them. She was very, very excited."

Along with revealing the presents Archie and Lili received, the photo revealed a view of the Sussexes' backyard—which features white arches, a wooden patio set and plenty of greenery.

At just five years old, Prince Archie might not be attending the Invictus Games with his parents just yet, but he's already learning about his royal grandma's lasting legacy. In a touching video filmed during the 2025 Invictus Games, Prince Harry discussed how its competitors have helped his son become curious about the effects of landmines and how Princess Diana championed a charity that eliminates them.

In the clip shared on X, the Duke of Sussex—who shares Prince Archie and little sister Princess Lilibet, 3, with Meghan Markle—is speaking to someone during an Invictus Games event about navigating difficult topics with his kids. "You either shut it down straight away, which I will never do, or you engage in the conversation," Prince Harry said, adding that "Archie was asking about landmines."

The Duke of Sussex—who founded the Invictus Games to champion wounded, injured and sick veterans and service personnel—noted that some of the competitors at the Vancouver/Whistler games had been injured by improvised explosive devices, which were "probably a bit too much" to explain to a 5-year-old child.

However, the duke used the opportunity to bring up his late mother's charity work in the field of landmine prevention. "Interestingly, he gave me a chance to talk about my mum, his grandma, which I didn't even really consider."

The duke continued that the "outcome of the story" for Prince Archie ended up being learning more about his grandmother's charity work. "He then saw videos...he wanted to see videos and photographs of his grandma Diana out doing her thing for landmines all those years ago."

Prince Harry concluded that Archie's interest "produced a very interesting conversation between me and him, different from what I thought it was going to be."

Princess Diana was passionate about her work with The Halo Trust, a charity that works in the areas of landmine clearance and conservation. Years later, Prince Harry went on to become its royal patron, and attended an event for the organization in NYC during U.N. Climate Week in September 2024.

As for the Invictus Games, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been cheering on Invictus athletes and their families since competition started on Saturday, Feb. 8. Among the inspiring and heartwarming moments was an adorable interaction they had with one competitor's children, who presented the duke with a Prince Harry Funko Pop figurine for him to sign.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made quite the entrance at the Invictus Games 2025 in Vancouver, Canada. Duchess Meghan gave an impromptu speech at a pre-opening ceremony event, and then kissed her husband on stage. While the Duchess of Sussex mentioned her two children—Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet—the little royals remained at home in California. According to royal experts, there's a very simple reason why the Sussexes decided to travel without their young kids.

In the latest episode of Hello! magazine's "A Right Royal Podcast," hosts Emmy Griffiths and Andrea Caamano spoke with royal editor Emily Nash and ITV's royal journalist Lizzie Robinson about Meghan and Harry's children. "Given the fact that the children are able to live a much more private life than their cousins...for example, because their roles are different," Nash explained, "I don't see why they would put them in that arena at this point."

Robinson agreed with Nash, saying, "They have sort of kept the children incredibly private. I know we saw snippets of them in the Netflix docuseries, but really, the children have lived an incredibly private life." She continued, "I think the next Invictus Games will be interesting, because it's in Birmingham in 2027. Meghan does usually go with Harry to the Invictus Games. Will she come to the U.K.? Because she hasn't...for a very long time."

In her unexpected speech at the Invictus Games 2025 event, Meghan mentioned Archie and Lilibet. "So it is my entire pleasure and complete honor to introduce to this stage my husband, the father of our very sweet, excited children, who will cheer you on from California," the Duchess of Sussex told the crowd. Despite not being in attendance at this year's Games, Archie and Lilibet certainly seem to be proud of their parents.

Duchess Meghan also revealed the adoration she has for Prince Harry, saying, "We are just thrilled to be here, and I would be remiss if I didn't take the opportunity to introduce someone who means a lot to me. And I know he means quite a lot to all of you." She continued, "You will see him at the Games...He's in it with you, and you'll see him through all of those moments. He'll be there with you."

Meghan Markle just returned to Instagram on New Year's Day, and unfortunately, the third post on her new @meghan account shared some sad family news. On Tuesday, Jan. 7, the Duchess of Sussex announced her beloved beagle, Guy, had died.

"In Memory of Guy," she captioned the Reel, which showed a number of personal photos and videos, including several featuring her children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

"In 2015, I adopted a beagle from a dog rescue in Canada," the duchess wrote. "He had been at a kill shelter in Kentucky and given a few days to live. I swooped him up….and fell in love. They referred to him as ‘the little guy’ because he was so small and frail, so I named him ‘Guy’. And he was the best guy any girl could have asked for."

The Duchess of Sussex continued that her early fans likely remember him as a regular fixture on her old Instagram account and now-defunct blog, The Tig. "He was with me at Suits, when I got engaged, (and then married), when I became a mom….he was with me for everything: the quiet, the chaos, the calm, the comfort," she wrote.

In one scene from the Reel, Harry and Meghan sit on a floor cradling Guy, while the beagle sweetly touches noses with the duke in another shot. Prince Archie, 5, walks his buddy Guy on a leash with dad Harry in one scene from the video, and his little voice can be heard wondering if Guy was going to fall in the car in another scene, with Meghan reassuring him that the dog will be fine. The Reel finishes with Meghan and the children's voices singing, "We love you Guy, oh yes we do..."

Referring to her Netflix cooking and lifestyle series, With Love Meghan—which airs Jan. 15—the Duchess of Sussex wrote, "Because many of you will now see Guy in this new series, I hope you’ll come to understand why I am so devastated by his loss. I think you may fall a little bit in love too."

The back of Princess Lilibet (and her sweet long hair) is shown in one photo as Meghan sits on a picnic blanket with Guy and their other beagle, Mamma Mia. She also appears to show off her cozy brown kitchen (With Love, Meghan was filmed at a rental home) as she cooks jam in one scene with Guy sniffing away nearby.

The duchess added, "I have cried too many tears to count - the type of tears that make you get in the shower with the absurd hope that the running water on your face will somehow make you not feel them, or pretend they’re not there. But they are. And that’s okay too."

She ended her caption, "Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, my sweet Guy. You filled my life in ways you’ll never know ❤️‍🩹 As ever, Meghan."

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet may live in California with their parents, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, but their grandfather hasn't forgotten them. According to a former employee of The King, Charles will be eager to connect with his grandchildren this holiday season.

In an interview with The Sun's Fabulous magazine, Charles' former royal butler, Grant Harrold, said, "I'm willing to bet that there definitely will be some sort of [Zoom] communication on Christmas Day. There's no question." As for who Charles will be most excited to speak with via FaceTime, Harrold claimed, "I'm not talking so much about Harry and Meghan directly, but I have no doubt the King will want to see his grandkids [Lilibet and Archie] on Christmas Day."

It's also likely that King Charles will have organized to have presents delivered to Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie for Christmas. "The King will send gifts," Harrold told the outlet. "I guarantee you that something will be sent, and likewise, gifts will be sent to Grandpa or Grandmother [from the Sussexes]."

Harrold also suggested that The King might get the chance to watch Lilibet and Archie open any gifts he's sent them. "There will be a chance to see each other," Harrold explained. "I'd be surprised if they didn’t FaceTime so they could see the grandchildren opening the gifts he sent them."

Ultimately, the former royal butler is certain that Charles will make contact with Prince Harry's children during the holiday season. "There will definitely, without a doubt, be communication," Harrold said.

As for what Charles may have purchased for Lilibet and Archie, Harrold referenced The King's classic taste, saying, "When it comes to toys and The King—have you ever been to the Highgrove shop? It's all very traditional. The King is very traditional." Harrold continued, "I don't see him buying them an Xbox or something like that—probably too young anyway. It's going to be more traditional, you know, like a wooden farm set or something along those lines."

According to Charles' former butler, The King would, ideally, see his grandchildren in person at Christmas. "I think if [King Charles] had the choice, he'd definitely want everyone together," Harrold told the publication. "He's very much a family man." Harrold reflected on the holidays he spent at the Palace with William, Harry, and their father. "They were such nice times," he explained. "They were very close, and it all just went so nicely."

The former royal butler also alleged that King Charles will be hoping for a reconciliation following the royal rift. "I've said this a hundred times—part of him will be sad about what's taken place," Harrold claimed. "Christmas is seen as a time for families to heal rifts." He continued, "Even if they're not there in person, just talking on Zoom or something can be part of that healing process."

As an acclaimed food writer, Tom Parker Bowles—otherwise known as Queen Camilla's son and King Charles's stepson—has seen it all when it comes to the food industry through the years. But while discussing farming and sustainable practices in a new interview with the Telegraph, he also mused on a job that The King would be "fantastic" at if he wasn't on the throne.

Parker Bowles, 49, has been a food critic for nearly 25 years, and the Telegraph reported he "has a special interest in the plight of the farmers."

“The two heroes of farming are The King and Jeremy Clarkson,” he told the publication, adding Clarkson (of Top Gear fame) is "a hero of the farmers because he has shown that it’s a thankless task." But what about King Charles?

“I’d never ever speak for the King," Parker Bowles said. "But all my life, way before it was trendy, way before regenerative was even a word…he has been banging the drum and supporting farming."

Indeed, King Charles has long been a supporter of "going green," promoting sustainability back when it was considered a bit off-the-wall to do so. He's also very into farming and food production. In fact, The King's stepson said the monarch could actually take over his job if he wanted.

"There is no man—and I’m not being oily—who knows more about cheesemaking," the food critic said. "If he wasn’t King he would be a fantastic food writer.” I'd definitely be reading, for one.

This isn't the first time Parker Bowles, who released royal cookbook Cooking & The Crown in September, has praised his stepdad's knowledge about food. In a September piece he wrote for the Daily Mail, the author said, "There is no man who knows more about food and farming, from the best of British cheeses, through rare breeds of sheep and cow, to heritage varieties of plum, apple and pear, than The King."

He continued that "Charles is a true food hero, and he very much practices what he preaches," adding "there is no waste at his table." Armed with Tom's new cookbook, perhaps The King can invite the family over for a sustainable feast.

During an appearance at The New York Times 2024 DealBook Summit last week, Prince Harry addressed divorce rumors regarding his wife, Meghan Markle. Now, a royal expert has weighed in on the Duke of Sussex's understandable decision to express frustration about online trolls trying to harm his family.

"Harry is stubborn," former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told OK! magazine. "And he is also understandably damaged by what happened to his mother. Who can blame him for being so protective about his wife and children?"

When it comes to defending his family against internet trolls, Bond believes Prince Harry has been doing the right thing. "I have some sympathy with his despair about the media... and social media in particular, with the trolls who peddle unsourced nonsensical rubbish about his marriage," she told the outlet.

Ultimately, Prince Harry's marriage to Duchess Meghan is no-one else's business, and the general public has no real insight regarding what their lives are really like. "He says he is happy," Bond explained. "I believe him. Let's stop trying to make trouble in a marriage we know nothing about."

While speaking to DealBook founder Andrew Ross Sorkin at the New York summit on Dec. 4, Harry called constant speculation about his marriage "definitely not a good thing." He continued, "Apparently we've bought or moved house 10, 12 times. We've apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So it's just like, what?"

The Duke of Sussex also understands that rumors move quickly. "It's hard to keep up with, but that's why you just sort of ignore it," he noted at the summit. "The people I feel most sorry about are the trolls." Explaining why, Harry said, "Their hopes are just built and built, and it's like, 'Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes,' and then it doesn't happen. So I feel sorry for them. Genuinely, I do."

Christmas is fast approaching, and members of the Royal Family are reportedly firming up their holiday plans. According to a new report, Princess Eugenie could be traveling to California to spend Christmas with her cousin, Prince Harry.

The Express reported that Princess Eugenie, her husband Jack Brooksbank, and their two children might spend Christmas in the United States. A source told the outlet, "Harry and Meghan have invited Eugenie and Jack to join them in California during the holidays."

It's unclear whether Eugenie would accept an invitation to spend Christmas in Montecito, especially as many of her family members reside in the United Kingdom. The source continued, "It's a very difficult position for Eugenie because she has also been invited to Sandringham."

If Eugenie and her family did accept Meghan and Harry's festive invite, they'd get the chance to spend Christmas with Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3. Eugenie and Brooksbank's two sons—August, 3, and Ernest, 1—would likely have a lot of fun spending the holidays with their royal cousins.

The Express' source noted that Eugenie's children are a similar age to Meghan and Harry's kids. "It would be so nice for the children to spend time with their cousins," the source claimed. "The diary is very tight over the holidays but there might be a slot free around New Years' time for everyone to come together at some point."

It's possible that Eugenie might want to spend the holidays with her parents, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, and sister Princess Beatrice, in England. However, Princess Eugenie has reportedly always stayed close to Prince Harry, so spending Christmas with his family isn't totally unexpected.

"Eugenie and Harry were at one point almost inseparable," a source told the Express. "They have maintained a bond in recent years and are keen for their children to share a close family connection as they grow up."

It was previously reported that Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry had been invited to spend Christmas with Princess Diana's family. Meanwhile, the Sussexes reportedly didn't receive an invitation to the Royal Family's Christmas celebrations at Sandingham.

The annual royal Christmas gathering at Sandringham has always been a huge multi-day celebration, and 2024 will be no different. Even though Prince Andrew stepped down from royal duties after he was accused of sexual assault, he's always been invited to spend the holidays with his family—but one royal expert thinks he might just use one "perfect reason" to stay home this year.

Former BBC royal reporter Jennie Bond told OK! (via Yahoo) that amid the drama surrounding the Duke of York, "you can’t help but think that life would be easier all round if the Yorks began to stage their own festivities at Christmas."

She pointed out that "life gets more complicated" with grandkids and in-laws in the picture, with both Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice now married with children of their own. Add in Prince William and Kate Middleton's children, Zara Tindall's three kids and her brother Peter Philips's two daughters, and you have one packed Christmas (even if it's on a royal estate).

Bond said "it is beginning to become untenable to have the whole extended royal family under one roof at Sandringham…especially with Camilla’s family to consider as well"—referring to Queen Camilla's son, Tom Parker Bowles, who shared that he was invited to Sandringham for the first time ever, per the Telegraph.

That being said, the royal commentator said "Andrew’s own growing family will give him and Sarah the perfect reason to avoid Sandringham." Princess Eugenie is mom to August, 3, and Ernest, 1, and Princess Beatrice—who is expecting her second child in the spring—shares daughter Sienna, 3, and stepson Wolfie, 8, with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

"Beatrice and Eugenie are very protective of both their parents," Bond added of the York girls, who have reportedly been spending a lot of time with their father on the weekends amid his battle to save Royal Lodge from disrepair.

However, a royal Christmas definitely isn't out of the question for Prince Andrew, with the royal expert claiming "it seems that Andrew remains keen" on the family's tradition to celebrate at Sandringham. Bond noted that the Duke of York and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, who still lives with him at Royal Lodge, "will almost certainly be invited to share the King and Queen’s celebrations."

The Express previously reported that The King "is adamant about maintaining family unity, particularly during the Christmas season" and therefore will invite his brother despite their disagreements.

Andrew and Fergie typically stay at nearby Wood Farm versus the "main house," Bond added, so they could always have their celebration nearby. Adding that The King "is not a vindictive man" she said "he will always an extend an invitation for Andrew and his family to share big family occasions." As for whether the Duke of York takes part in the traditional royal Christmas walk, watch this space.

As the festive season approaches, royal fans are excitedly awaiting a holiday message from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. While the couple's 2024 holiday plans are unclear, Prince Harry shared a hilarious anecdote about a previous Christmas they spent with their son, Prince Archie.

At the start of 2020, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced their intention to step down as senior members of the Royal Family. As a result, they celebrated Christmas that year in Montecito, California, with Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland. In his memoir, Spare, Prince Harry reflected on the couple's first Christmas in the United States.

Harry revealed that, in keeping with "the Windsor family tradition," they exchanged some gifts on Christmas Eve. "One present was a little Christmas ornament of... The Queen!" he wrote (via The Sun).

Prince Harry was shocked to open the ornament of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. "I roared," he explained. "What the—?"

As for how the Duchess of Sussex had acquired the pitch perfect present, Harry explained, "Meg had spotted it in a local store and thought I might like it." He continued, "I held it to the light. It was Granny's face to a T."

Understandably, Prince Harry wanted to display the ornament on their Christmas tree, writing, "I hung it on an eye level branch."

It would appear that Prince Harry felt emotional seeing his grandmother in ornament form, as he noted, "It made me happy to see her there... It made Meg and me smile."

Unfortunately, Prince Harry's joy was short-lived, and the ornament found itself in a rather precarious position. "Archie, playing around the tree, jostled the stand, shook the tree, and Granny fell," the Duke of Sussex wrote. "I heard a smash and turned. Pieces lay all over the floor."

Realizing that something terrible had happened, Meghan and Harry's son apparently tried to fix the problem immediately. "Archie ran and grabbed a spray bottle," Harry revealed. "For some reason he thought spraying water on the broken pieces would fix it."

And if you thought the situation couldn't get stranger, you'd be mistaken. Watching Archie's plan to spray water on the broken ornament unfold, Meghan told him, "No, Archie, no—do not spray Gan-Gan!"

Instead, Prince Harry cleaned up the mess, but the humor wasn't lost on him. "I grabbed a dustpan and swept up the pieces, all the while thinking: 'This is weird,'" he wrote.

Thursday night's launch event was particularly important for Meghan, who revealed she was an investor in Highbrow Hippie. "I am so proud to invest in [Kadi] as a friend and as a female founder," Duchess Meghan told InStyle. "Kadi has a mastery of hair health, and her Highbrow Hippie collection is a perfect reflection of that."

To promote the new brand, Meghan posed with Lee and hairdresser Serge Normant. The royal also joked with attendees about her COVID-19 pandemic haircare routine, revealing, "I was using boxed dye when I met [Lee]!"

Duchess Meghan has been known to handle her own hair and makeup on a multitude of occasions. Her makeup artist, Daniel Martin, revealed that the Duchess had no glam team during her royal tour of Nigeria earlier this year.

It was recently reported that Princess Eugenie is trapped in a "precarious position" between Prince Harry and King Charles. Now, a respected royal expert has suggested that Charles is likely grateful to have a connection to Harry via Eugenie.

In a new interview with OK! magazine, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said of the situation, "Eugenie undoubtedly does have something of a challenge on her hands to maintain good relationships with both Harry and Meghan—and the rest of the Royal Family."

Bond continued, "But I think the King is probably happy that Harry still has at least one royal cousin he clearly trusts, and presumably wants to see more of."

Noting that members of the Royal Family are often incredibly busy, Bond suggested that any connection the King may have to the Duke of Sussex is incredibly important.

"However, I think it's a positive thing that Charles does have someone he can quietly ask about Harry‘s well-being, if he is so inclined. And Harry can presumably gauge the mood of the family via Eugenie."

"Any reconciliation—which at this stage still seems unlikely—has to start somewhere and with someone," Bond noted. "And that person could possibly be Eugenie."

Bond suggested that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's rumored decision to purchase property in Portugal close to Princess Eugenie's home shows just how close they are.

"I think it perhaps suggests that they do want their children to know at least some of their U.K. family," Bond told the outlet. "It will be good for Archie and Lilibet to spend time with their little cousins, and Eugenie will remain an important link between Harry and the rest of his family."

Regardless of what happens between the Royal Family as a whole, it seems that Eugenie and Harry will remain closely bonded.

Discussing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's big decision, Bond said, "I don’t know quite why they feel they need to buy a place... rather than just stay with Jack and Eugenie or rent a place, but it suggests that they intend to spend more time on this side of the Atlantic."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have kept 5-year-old Prince Archie and 3-year-old Princess Lilibet out of the public eye, but at the recent WellChild Awards, the duke shared a sweet tidbit about one of the traits his children share with their mom.

The Duke of Sussex, who turned 40 last month, told Hello! that both Archie and Lilibet, nicknamed Lili, "have been blessed with their mother's thick hair."

According to the magazine's chief content officer Sophie Vokes-Dudgeon, who spoke with Prince Harry at the event, "he marvelled that it won't be long until Lili can sit on hers."

While the kids made appearances in the duke and duchess's 2022 Netflix documentary, the couple has not shared any updated photos of the prince and princess. However, in little Lili's first birthday photo, she shows off red hair just like her dad and big brother Archie.

Back when he was a baby in Windsor, Prince Archie seemed to take a liking to some fellow gingers at a playdate, with a source telling the Express at the time, "Archie had a fantastic time. He was crawling around and was particularly taken with two other red-haired babies."

Prince Harry—who shared a FaceTime call with his kids in a video exclusively shared with Marie Claire last week—also shared some other insights about Archie and Lilibet during his recent trips to NYC and London.

At the WellChild Awards, Harry shared that Lili shared a favorite stuffed toy with a young boy at the event, which honored seriously ill children. "My daughter Lili has these loveys," the duke told 6-year-old Noah Nicholson, who was clutching a stuffed giraffe at the event.

"I've got at least six spare," Harry added.

During his speech at the Clinton Global Initiative's meeting in NYC, the Duke of Sussex revealed that Archie and Lilibet are the photo on his phone's wallpaper. “My lock screen is a picture of my kids. What’s yours? Prince Harry asked the audience before he launched into a discussion about the dangers of the online world for today's kids and parents.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have made a plethora of public appearances in recent weeks. Rather than attending events together, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have favored solo appearances on behalf of organizations and charities they support individually. But Meghan and Harry's solo appearances are very much intentional, and feed into their success as a couple, a new report has claimed.

"It's clear that a twin-track approach is evolving," an alleged friend of the couple told People.

Meanwhile, a "royal insider" told the publication, "The Duke and Duchess have now hit their stride as individuals—not just as a couple. The Duke appears focused on his patronage work, and the Duchess focused on her entrepreneurial track."

Discussing why this new approach had been working for the Sussexes, a friend told the outlet, "An entrepreneurial and enterprise focus is going to be more the Duchess' priority and the Duke will continue to champion his not-for-profit patronages." They continued, "But there will be joint efforts around those cause-driven areas of work."

As well as allowing Meghan and Harry to focus on their own projects, the solo approach has been beneficial for them as parents. "[It’s] as much a reflection on parenting priorities, in that one of them stays behind with the children," their friend explained.

An insider also claimed that solo outings help the Sussexes avoid any accusations of one or the other allegedly stealing the spotlight. "The truth is, this couple is damned if they do, damned if they don’t," the insider said.

Fans of the couple needn't worry, though, as Meghan and Harry reportedly plan on making plenty of joint appearances in the future. "With their recent trips to Nigeria and Colombia, as well as their foundation-led events, it is still evident they show up together for the causes they jointly support," a royal insider told People. "What we are seeing is a functional and healthy relationship with two working partners, not the contrary.”

Meghan Markle opened up about being a mother during her solo appearance at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles Gala 2024 on October 5.

Held at JW Marriott LA Live in Los Angeles, Meghan re-wore a red Carolina Herrera gown, which she originally donned for the Salute to Freedom Gala in 2021. The Duchess of Sussex cut a svelte silhouette while re-wearing the gown, opting to remove its voluminous overskirt, highlighting the dress' thigh-high leg slit instead.

During a red carpet interview at the event, Meghan praised Children's Hospital Los Angeles, saying (via the Daily Mail), "The work that they do is otherworldly."

Meghan continued, "And I have close friends who still have their children there, going through treatments either from high school, close mom friends now that are having their children."

The royal also made sure to highlight the crucial work the medical facility carries out on a regular basis. "The amount of work that they do for families that could really not afford this level of care is something that I think should never be overlooked," she said.

At the event, Meghan met with families who have utilized services provided by Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

While speaking to one young boy, the Duchess of Sussex said (via the Daily Mail), "It's past your bedtime, for sure." Meghan also mentioned her children, Archie and Lilibet, while speaking to the boy's parents.
