Blake Lively has stayed out of the spotlight throughout the summer, hopefully soaking up the sun somewhere idyllic. On Sept. 5, 2025, the Gossip Girl icon returned to work with an appearance in New York City. As usual, Lively's style didn't disappoint, with the actress pairing an enviable Chanel bag with a pair of knee-high lace-up boots from Christian Louboutin.

The It Ends With Us actress attended a Glossy Pop NYC event at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she joined a group of her peers to discuss working in the beauty industry. Lively, of course, launched her haircare line, Blake Brown, in 2024.

For the occasion, the actress and producer wore a tailored brown jacket with a matching knee-length pleated skirt from Huishan Zhang's Resort '26 collection, and a sheer crocheted top adorned with floral crystals.

Lively accessorized her outfit with a pair of dramatic Christian Louboutin boots, which were laced up to her knees. The cherry on the top of her outfit was a patchwork sequin Chanel Flap Bag from the fashion house's Spring 2024 collection.

Everyone from Kaia Gerber to Jennifer Lopez has shown their love for Chanel's classic Flap Bag in recent months, meaning Lively's outfit is right on time.

In an interview with Harper's BAZAAR, Lively opened up about how she styles her looks, saying, "I do a fitting and try on a bunch of different outfits, and then I think, 'Okay, well, how can I tell a bit of a story with these outfits?' Because I like to have some sort of consistency or a narrative."

She continued, "It just helps me wrap my head around the workload. If I try to make every outfit special, that's too hard. So if I can get a bit of a through line, just in my own head, then that helps."

However, one of the "Fortnight" singer's fans was devastated when Swift was forced to "reject" an unexpected gift, in case there was a security breach or unknown danger related to the item. To make matters worse, Swift wasn't dining alone, either—boyfriend Travis Kelce, friend Blake Lively, and Lively's husband Ryan Reynolds were also in attendance.

During an appearance on the June 23 episode of the podcast, Casual Chaos With Gia Giudice, Serena Kerrigan, an influencer and sometime star of MTV's Siesta Key, revealed she once tried to give Swift a gift. However, the moment left her "mortified," as Swift was seemingly forced to "reject" the item.

"Recently, [I] went to a restaurant and I heard that Taylor Swift was there," Kerrigan explained (via Parade). "And I was like, 'I have to give her my card game.'" The card game in question was Let's Fucking Date, which "features up to 50 engaging prompts and questions designed to spark meaningful conversations and create memorable moments," per Amazon.

Unfortunately, Swift was reportedly on high-alert when Kerrigan attempted to hand her the gift. The influencer recalled, "I literally was like, 'Hi, I'm such a fan. And I created this card game. I think you would really love it.'" Sharing how the "Red" singer responded, Kerrigan said, "And she literally looked at it and she goes, 'Oh, my God, thank you so much. But no, thank you. But thank you.'"

As for why Swift likely had to turn down the offer, Kerrigan explained, "It was so sweet. I don't think she could take it from me...There could have been poison. It looks like a cigarette."

Luckily, Kerrigan took the rejection in good spirits, sharing on the podcast, "I was like, 'Oh my God, I put her in this position where she had to say no.' But then, I got over it because it's such an iconic story for the plot. Who cares that she said no?" The influencer continued, "And by the way, I kept the game that she rejected. One day I'm going to meet her, and I'm going to be like, 'Funny story,' and we're going to be besties. It's all good."

Basically, Swifties should take note: the "Cruel Summer" singer might not be able to accept any presents, but she likely has a very good reason.

Anyone with internet access and even a passing interest in pop culture is probably aware of the ongoing legal battle between Blake Lively and her It Ends With Us director and costar, Justin Baldoni. And now, thanks to Lively, we also know how she's been getting through the objectively stressful personal era she's currently living—with the help of the four children she shares with her husband, Ryan Reynolds.

“It’s no surprise, I have had a pretty intense year," the 37-year-old actress explained during her Thursday night appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, according to a Page Six report, which attributed the intel to an audience member who attended the taping. "They’re just my lifeline. No matter what day I am having."

Lively and Reynolds share three daughters—James, 10, Inez, 8, Betty, 5—and one son, two-year-old Olin and the Gossip Girl actress said that being a mom first has been vital amid the very public feud.

“I have to be Disneyland for them," she added. "It’s the best, it’s chaos."

This isn't the first report that Lively was leaning on family to get through the difficult ordeal with Baldoni. In late December, an insider said that Lively's famous husband was the pillar of her support system.

"Ryan is always her rock," the source told People two days after news of Lively's lawsuit against Baldoni, who also directed It Ends With Us, broke. "They have such a special relationship. He's very proud of her in so many ways."

Lively described her ongoing legal battle with Baldoni as one of the “lowest lows of my life," and it's public knowledge that the actress has been in the midst of this low period for a while now.

Rumors of a feud between Lively and Baldoni picked up steam last summer as the pair were doing press ahead of the release of It Ends With Us and, in December 2024, Lively filed a legal complaint alleging that Baldoni had enlisted a crisis management expert to spearhead a PR plan to attack Lively's reputation and discredit her after the actress complained of misconduct on the movie's set. Baldoni responded by filing a lawsuit of his own in January 2025, which Lively's legal team derided as "desperate" in a statement declaring it "will fail."

“I see so many women around afraid to speak, especially now, afraid to share their experience. Fear is by design, it’s what keeps us silent,” she added, per Page Six. “But I also acknowledge that many people don’t have the opportunity to speak so I do feel fortunate that I have been able to.”

In January, as the legal battle picked up steam, a source close to the actress made it clear that Lively has no plans of backing down or letting up—no matter how difficult the fight might be.

"She still believes she's doing the right thing," the source said. "She's ready to tackle whatever comes her way."

Sure, there a handful of names that could appear on such a list, but, if we're being honest, there is only one name that it would feel like a crime not to include on one. After checking his "iconic action hero" box by dominating the box office last year in his ninth (!!!) appearance as Wolverine for Deadpool & Wolverine, the 56-year-old Australian actor marked the the beginning of 2025 by shifting gears and focusing on the "passion for musical theater" side of his talent.

On Friday, Jan. 24, Jackman kicked off his new concert series at Radio City Music Hall, From New York, With Love, in which he performs songs from some of the iconic musicals he's appeared in over the years, including The Boy From Oz, Les Misérables, The Greatest Showman and The Music Man.

In addition to being present for the first performance of what People notes is Jackman's first new concert offering in five years, the show's opening night audience also enjoyed a surprise appearance from Jackman's Deadpool & Wolverine co-star/longtime BFF, Ryan Reynolds, who took the stage to deliver a speech that was one part hilarious comedy and two parts just genuine, heartfelt love.

Reynolds popped up out of the audience to deliver his surprise tribute—which began with the kind of on-point yet still somehow unexpected humor that's basically the Deadpool star's trademark at this point.

"I was told this was going to be a comedy version of Les Mis as a one-man show," Reynolds joked. "We all said it was a terrible idea but he carried on. I see he's duped me once again!"

The joking didn't last long though before Reynolds switched gears and delivered touching tribute to Jackman and their almost 20-year friendship.

"This was the first major movie star I ever worked with, 16 or 17 years ago on X-Men Origins: Wolverine," Reynolds shared with the audience "And I was young still. I was impressionable. I was expecting going to this movie set with this guy right here, and I didn't know, I really didn't know what was gonna happen...But what I saw was just about the best thing anyone could possibly experience if you're working your way up in the industry."

"I saw a movie star, a capital M movie star," Reynolds continued. "I saw this gentleman right here walk around that set, and just like here, he knew every single person's name, even though he was making them up half the time. He showed a kind of courtesy and gentleness and curiosity, and he put value into every single crew member that we were working with."

Reynolds, who called Jackman his "gotcha for life," ended the touching speech with more humor, even bringing his kids into the joke.

"I mean it," he said. "And I know we were supposed to finish this bit where these two security gentlemen come and they try to take the mic for me — it's like a struggle, and then they tase me and I go down, and then they hog-tie me and then they put me in the Radio City music garbage dump, and then they just light it on fire. But I wanted to actually just say, I love this man, I care about this man. He is, he is genuinely the best human being I know—and I have four children!"

The ongoing dispute between It Ends With Us co-stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni took an even more personal turn this week with news of Baldoni's latest legal filings.

On Thursday, Jan. 16, Baldoni's lawyers filed a $400 million lawsuit against Lively as well as Ryan Reynolds, their publicist Leslie Sloane and Sloane's PR firm Vision PR, Inc. over events the actor and director says went on behind the scenes of It Ends With Us.

According to People, Baldoni is "suing on claims of civil extortion, defamation, false light invasion of privacy, breach of implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, intentional interference with contractual relations, intentional interference with prospective economic advantage, and negligent interference with prospective economic advantage."

"This lawsuit is a legal action based on an overwhelming amount of untampered evidence detailing Blake Lively and her team’s duplicitous attempt to destroy Justin Baldoni, his team and their respective companies by disseminating grossly edited, unsubstantiated, new and doctored information to the media. It is clear based on our own all out willingness to provide all complete text messages, emails, video footage and other documentary evidence that was shared between the parties in real time, that this is a battle she will not win and will certainly regret. Blake Lively was either severely misled by her team or intentionally and knowingly misrepresented the truth," Baldoni's attorney, Bryan Freedman, said a statement.

"Let’s not forget, Ms. Lively and her team attempted to bulldoze reputations and livelihoods for heinously selfish reasons through their own dangerous manipulation of the media before even taking any actual legal action," Freedman continued. "We know the truth, and now the public does too," the statement continues. "Justin and his team have nothing to hide, documents do not lie."

Clearly, Baldoni's team had a lot to say about the latest legal filings—but so did Lively's. In response to the defamation suit, Lively's legal team issued a lengthy statement of their own, in which they described the newest lawsuit as both "desperate" and another example of abusive behavior from the actor and which, they ultimately say, "will fail."

“This latest lawsuit from Justin Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, and its associates is another chapter in the abuser playbook. This is an age-old story: A woman speaks up with concrete evidence of sexual harassment and retaliation and the abuser attempts to turn the tables on the victim. This is what experts call DARVO. Deny. Attack. Reverse Victim Offender,” the statement read. “Wayfarer has opted to use the resources of its billionaire co-founder to issue media statements, launch meritless lawsuits, and threaten litigation to overwhelm the public’s ability to understand that what they are doing is retaliation against sexual harassment allegations.

“They are trying to shift the narrative to Ms. Lively by falsely claiming that she seized creative control and alienated the cast from Mr. Baldoni. The evidence will show that the cast and others had their own negative experiences with Mr. Baldoni and Wayfarer. The evidence will also show that Sony asked Ms. Lively to oversee Sony’s cut of the film, which they then selected for distribution and was a resounding success.

“Their response to sexual harassment allegations: she wanted it, it’s her fault. Their justification for why this happened to her: look what she was wearing. In short, while the victim focuses on the abuse, the abuser focuses on the victim. The strategy of attacking the woman is desperate, it does not refute the evidence in Ms. Lively’s complaint, and it will fail.”

In December, a source close to Lively told People that she was prepared for what, even then, clearly had what the outlet described as "the potential to be an ugly legal battle"—and she has no intentions of backing down, no matter how ugly that battle gets.

"She still believes she's doing the right thing," the source said of Lively's attitude about the situation. "She's ready to tackle whatever comes her way."

Even though most of the world has only recently become fully aware of the issues between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni that began on the set of their movie, It Ends With Us, those close to them would obviously have known about the tensions as they were happening.

One of those people, obviously, would have been Lively's husband, Ryan Reynolds, who was working on Deadpool & Wolverine during roughly the same time period that Lively was filming It Ends With Us with Baldoni, who co-starred in and directed the drama. Reynolds hasn't commented directly on the lawsuit, but did hint at the toll the issues between Baldoni and Lively took on him while he was working on the latest Deadpool film.

Now, some fans are convinced that Deadpool & Wolverine actually includes a moment trolling Baldoni in a reference that went right over viewers' heads when the movie premiered in theaters in July 2024, but that seems clear now as Lively's allegations about her experiences working on the film have come to light.

In the scene in question, Deadpool and Wolverine (played by Reynolds and co-star Hugh Jackman), encounter a Deadpool variant known as "Nicepool" (also played by Reynolds), who wears his hair in a man bun (a style that E! Online notes Baldoni famously wore his hair in for years until 2023).

Beyond the potential visual reference to Baldoni, Nicepool, offers some questionable commentary about a female variant called Ladypool (who Lively actually played in a cameo in the movie), saying, "Oh my goodness, wait til you’ve seen Ladypool. She is gorgeous. She just had a baby too and [you] can’t even tell."

When Deadpool reacts to the commentary on Ladypool's post-baby body by telling him, "I don’t think you’re supposed to say that," Nicepool puts a hand on his own chest and assures Deadpool, "That’s OK. I identify as a feminist."

The dialogue seems pointed in light of allegations in Lively's complaint, in which she describes an incident that she says occurred four months after she gave birth to her fourth child, when Baldoni asked a trainer on the film's set how much she weighed. She went on to say in legal filings, according to People, that she was "humiliated to learn" that he had "secretly called her fitness trainer, without her knowledge or permission, and implied that he wanted her to lose weight in two weeks. Mr. Baldoni told the trainer that he had asked because he was concerned about having to pick Ms. Lively up in a scene for the movie, but there was no such scene."

Following Lively's lawsuit, the scene took on new significance for many fans, who went online to share their theories about the Nicepool/Baldoni link.

This isn't the first time Reynolds has been pulled into coverage of the legal battle between Lively and Baldoni. In response to Lively's complaint, Baldoni filed a $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times for its reporting on what he says are Lively's "false" allegations, and his legal filings included claims that Reynolds "aggressively berated" him over the incident in which he asked about Lively's weight.

While Reynolds has yet to issue any formal comment on the legal battle, a source close to the couple said he's been a pillar of support for his wife behind-the-scenes.

"Ryan is always her rock," the source told People two days after news of Lively's lawsuit against Baldoni broke. "They have such a special relationship. He's very proud of her in so many ways."

Amid the fallout of the sexual harassment complaint filed against him by Blake Lively over incidents tied to their time filming It Ends With Us, Justin Baldoni has responded with a lawsuit of his own.

On December 31, the actor, who co-starred in and directed It Ends With Us, filed a $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times for its reporting on what he says are Lively's "false" allegations—and his legal filings for the lawsuit include new allegations against Lively's husband, Ryan Reynolds.

In court documents, Baldoni describes a confrontation with Reynolds in which he says the Deadpool star was "aggressive" while defending Lively.

"Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, had aggressively berated Baldoni during a meeting at their penthouse in New York, accusing him of 'fat shaming' Lively," the lawsuit reads (per E! Online). "Baldoni, in an effort to avoid further confrontation with Lively and Reynolds and rebuild rapport with his co-star, continued to bend to her will."

While Baldoni admits he did ask a trainer "how much Lively weighed," the actor insists that he didn't intend the question as "fat-shaming" and that he had asked because of concern about his own "back issues" ahead of a scene in which his character was going to lift hers.

Baldoni's lawyers said that the trainer "relayed this information to Lively, who then informed Reynolds," which led to the "confrontation, according to People, which also reported that the actor's legal team described the incident as an "inappropriate and humiliating berating of Baldoni — delivered, perhaps intentionally, as other celebrity friends were coming in and out of their penthouse."

Lively described the incident (which she noted occurred four months after she gave birth to her fourth child), differently in her complaint, which stated that she "humiliated to learn" that Baldoni "secretly called her fitness trainer, without her knowledge or permission, and implied that he wanted her to lose weight in two weeks. Mr. Baldoni told the trainer that he had asked because he was concerned about having to pick Ms. Lively up in a scene for the movie, but there was no such scene."

For its part, the New York Times is standing behind its reporting on the piece and plans to "vigorously" defend against Baldoni's lawsuit.

"Our story was meticulously and responsibly reported," a spokesperson for the Times said in a statement to People. "It was based on a review of thousands of pages of original documents, including the text messages and emails that we quote accurately and at length in the article."

Even though he hasn't made any official comments on Blake Lively's It Ends With Us lawsuit, Ryan Reynolds may still have found a subtle way to share a clue about how he's feeling amid the drama.

On Monday, December 23, Reynolds shared his first post to social media since news of Lively's sexual harassment lawsuit against It Ends With Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni broke—a call to fans encouraging them to donate to the SickKids Foundation.

Although the post itself didn't have anything to do with his wife's legal issues, some who read it felt like it still offered insight into the actor's mood amid the legal action, thanks to a subtle line in which the actor references "a time I really didn’t feel like putting the [Deadpool] suit on."

“It’s almost Christmas Eve. Last day to donate to [SickKids Foundation],” Reynolds wrote in the post, which also included a promotional video the actor originally posted on December 12 encouraging donations to the organization that he made with his eight-year-old daughter, Inez, featuring the pair dressed as Deadpool and Kidpool (per People).

“Thank you [Bryan Rowland] for directing this amazing little piece during a time I really didn’t feel like putting the suit on,” he continued in the Instagram Story post. "Thank you [Lynda Carter] for your time, grace and talent. Thank you to my daughter for being such a good person despite your dad asking you to swear (for a good cause).”

Reynolds, who shares four children with Lively (in addition to the actor's "Kidpool" co-star Inez, the couple also shares two other daughters, James, 10 and Betty, 5, and one son Olin, 1), may being keeping any public references to the lawsuit cryptic, but sources say he's been nothing but directly and emphatically supportive of his wife behind-the-scenes as she's dealt with these issues, from what she describes in legal documents as "a hostile work environment" with Baldoni to the current stress that would naturally come with the lawsuit itself.

"Ryan is always her rock," a source close to the could told People just two days after news of Lively's lawsuit against Baldoni broke. "They have such a special relationship. He's very proud of her in so many ways."

And, FWIW, the lack of public comment from Reynolds about the lawsuit seems to be in-line with how Lively wants to handle the case for now. Going into the holidays, the People source said Lively's goal was "to just focus on making Christmas special for her children" and that "for now, she's said what needed to be said."

While many celebrities have spoken out in support of Blake Lively since she filed her sexual harassment lawsuit against It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni, the real pillar of her support system has been her husband, Ryan Reynolds, according to a source close to the pair.

"She's trying to just focus on making Christmas special for her children," the People source said of Lively, adding that she's unlikely to publicly speak about the harassment again for the time being. "For now, she's said what needed to be said."

Lively may not have anything else to add at the moment, but in the wake of the lawsuit, several other celebrities have spoken out in support of the actress, including her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-stars, her sister, Robyn Lively, and actress Amber Heard.

"As Blake's friends and sisters for over twenty years, we stand with her in solidarity as she fights back against the reported campaign waged to destroy her reputation," Lively's Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-stars, Amber Tamblyn, Amercia Fererra, and Alexis Bledel, said in a joint statement released on Instagram. "Throughout the filming of It Ends with Us, we saw her summon the courage to ask for a safe workplace for herself and colleagues on set, and we are appalled to read the evidence of a premeditated and vindictive effort that ensued to discredit her voice. Most upsetting is the unabashed exploitation of domestic violence survivors' stories to silence a woman who asked for safety. The hypocrisy is astounding."

Heard, whose ex-husband Johnny Depp reportedly hired the same PR crisis manager as Baldoni during Heard and Depp's public legal battle, issued her own statement of support for Lively to NBC News, saying, "Social media is the absolute personification of the classic saying 'A lie travels halfway around the world before truth can get its boots on.' I saw this firsthand and up close. It’s as horrifying as it is destructive."

As for Lively herself, the actress issued her own statement about the lawsuit to the The New York Times, which reported on situation and Baldoni's crisis management team.

"I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted," she said.

Hugh Jackman, far from defending his pal Ryan Reynolds, has doubled down on Martha Stewart's somewhat uncharitable comments about the Canadian actor.

Appearing on Bilt Rewards' Rent Free game show, Stewart was asked who she thinks people would consider the most fun celebs, and she ventured that Reynolds would make people's list, but that she disagreed.

"And you want to know something? He’s not so funny in real life," the celebrity chef said. "No, he’s not so funny. He’s very serious."

She continued, "He’s a good actor. He can act funny, but he isn’t funny. Maybe he can get to be funny again ... I’m going to get in trouble, he's my neighbor."

But despite the possibility of getting in "trouble," Stewart concluded, "I would take Ryan off [the list] and I would put in somebody else."

The Deadpool actor made his best attempt to prove the media mogul wrong, tweeting, "I’d disagree with her. But I tried that once. The woman is unexpectedly spry. She really closed the gap after a mile or so."

But Reynolds could not count on his Australian mate Jackman, who weighed in on Stewart's comments: "Finally someone says it." LOL.

Once upon a time, it was Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively who were constantly making headlines because of their public trolling of each other, but in recent months Jackman has taken over for Lively in that particular role.

Since the two men's star turn in Deadpool & Wolverine, and during the production process, they have relished in publicly teasing each other. But even before that, Jackman had been known to play a prank on Reynolds, based on their ongoing fake feud.

Martha Stewart is telling fans what she really thinks about her neighbor, actor Ryan Reynolds.

Earlier this week, during an appearance on Bilt Rewards' Rent Free game show, Stewart told Bilt CEO and founder Ankur Jain that the Deadpool actor is "not so funny" in real life.

The comment came after Jain asked Stewart who she thought people would consider to be the most fun celebrity to hang out with.

“He’s probably on the list just ‘cause he covers himself up in his movies and you don’t see his face — Ryan Reynolds, is he one of those?” Stewart responded. “And you want to know something? He’s not so funny in real life. No, he’s not so funny. He’s very serious.

"He’s a good actor,” Stewart continued. “He can act funny, but he isn’t funny. Maybe he can get to be funny again ... I’m going to get in trouble, he's my neighbor."

Stewart explained that her personal list of fun celebrities would include Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Snoop Dogg and Taylor Swift.

"I would take Ryan off [the list] and I would put in somebody else," she added.

Never one to shy away from social media, Reynolds responded to Stewart's viral comments on Saturday, Nov. 2 via X, formerly known as Twitter.

"I’d disagree with her," the actor wrote. "But I tried that once. The woman is unexpectedly spry. She really closed the gap after a mile or so."

Of course, fans of both Stewart and Reynolds are loving the back-and-forth.

"I know It's been a wild year but, I did not have a 'get off my lawn' level feud between Ryan Reynolds & Martha Stewart on my 2024 bingo card," one fan posted on X.

Reynolds is coming off the recent, history-making success of his latest movie Deadpool & Wolverine, the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time that managed to earn $1.086 billion globally in just 23 days.

Stewart, on the other hand, is promoting her new cookbook Martha: The Cookbook: 100 Favorite Recipes, with Lessons and Stories from My Kitchen and her new documentary Martha, which premiered on Netflix last month.

"Thank you to the amazing people on the ground providing essential needs for families who've lost so much in this brutal disaster," Lively and Reynolds told E! News in a statement on Oct. 10. Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, the organization's CEO, issued a statement to express hers and Feeding America's gratitude for the couple's donation.

"We thank Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds for donating $1 million to our disaster relief fund for Hurricanes Helene and Milton," Babineaux-Fontenot wrote on X. "Their longtime support of Feeding America in times of crisis has helped our network on the ground before, during and after disasters. These funds will help food banks provide basic needs like water, ready to eat food and supplies to communities facing heartbreaking loss and a long recovery."

Tom Brady, Dolly Parton and Morgan Wallen are among the other public figures who have donated to hurricane relief, as reported by Forbes.

Hurricane Helene, which occurred in late September, had devastating consequences over six states: North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, and Virginia. Its death toll stood at 232 on Oct. 7, as reported by CNN.

Milton arrived earlier this week in Florida, and its death toll stands at 12 at time of writing, according to The New York Times.

Following the success of her latest movie, It Ends With Us, Blake Lively celebrated her 37th birthday in style.

Alongside husband Ryan Reynolds, Lively was photographed attending a star-studded gathering at Taylor Swift's Rhode Island house this weekend. The pictures were shared by @deuxmoi, and showed the loved-up couple kissing outside. Swift's seaside property has regularly played host to epic parties. For instance, Tom Hiddleston was photographed wearing his infamous "I Heart Taylor Swift" tank top while staying at the house. More recently, Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper reportedly spent time at Swift's home. And let's not forget all of those enviable 4th of July celebrations.

The party attracted many of Swift's close friends, including her boyfriend Travis Kelce, his brother Jason Kelce, quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and his wife Brittany Mahomes, per TMZ.

Lively has found herself regularly in the press following the release of It Ends With Us, the adaptation of Colleen Hoover's novel of the same name. Reports quickly surfaced that the movie's director, Justin Baldoni, was feuding with the cast, including Lively.

Discussing the alleged drama, a source told People, "All is not what it seems... There is much more to this story. The principal cast and [author] Colleen Hoover will have nothing to do with him."

The Hollywood Reporter appeared to confirm the fallout, with sources reportedly telling the publication that "there was a fracture among the filmmakers in the postproduction process, wherein two different cuts of the movie emerged."

The publication also noted that the Gossip Girl star "did have a strong say in the film’s creative direction as she was also a producer on the feature on top of being its star. That seemed to extend to having the power to make her own version of the movie." Claims also emerged, per The Hollywood Reporter, that Lively commissioned her own final cut of the film.

In spite of any alleged drama, It Ends With Us has been a huge box office success, grossing a whopping $242 million as of this past weekend. As the movie's budget was reportedly $25 million, It Ends With Us has shown Lively to be a very bankable star, which is pretty much the perfect birthday present.

Recent global mega hit Deadpool & Wolverine featured a plethora of impressive celebrity cameos. Everyone from Chris Evans to Wesley Snipes and Jennifer Garner to Channing Tatum appeared in the Marvel flick. And according to Halle Berry, her X-Men character Storm could've made an appearance too, which would've been nothing short of iconic.

In an interview with ComicBook.com, Berry revealed that Reynolds' wife, Blake Lively, asked her if she'd consider playing her iconic X-Men character again. "Blake [Lively] asked me one time, I ran into her at a Marc Jacobs fashion show, and she said, 'Would you ever be in my husband's movie as Storm?'" Berry revealed to the publication. "I said, 'Yeah, if he asked me,' but he never asked me."

Clearly, Lively had our best interests at heart, as the world would love to see Berry reprise her superhero role on the big screen. The Gothika star was last seen as Storm in 2012's X-Men: Days of Future Past. Prior to that, she starred in the original X-Men movie trilogy, alongside Deadpool & Wolverine star Hugh Jackman, which launched in 2000.

This isn't the first time Berry has teased her return to playing Storm. In 2015, during an appearance at San Diego Comic Con, the actor opened up about potentially making a solo X-Men movie about her character. "In a heartbeat I would do a Storm movie," she revealed, via Blerds. "I love that character through and through. So if that ever became an opportunity for me, if it’s before I’m 65 years old, I would absolutely do that."

Berry also suggested that fans of her character could help get the movie made, by showing just how much they support her. "Well, I think they should do it," she said. "If the fans want that the fans need to speak up and I’m sure it would be a possibility. If Fox felt like they could make money off of a Storm movie I’m sure they would do it." For now, we'll simply have to wait and hope that Reynolds reaches out to Berry for the next Deadpool sequel.

Blake Lively is opening up about how her husband Ryan Reynolds turned on the charm when the pair first started dating.

In an exclusive interview with People for the publication's latest issue, the actress and proud mom revealed that the Deadpool star would send her something special every week at the start of their relationship.

"When my husband and I first got together, he would send me a bouquet of flowers every week," she told the publication at the time,. "But he would always send a card and it would just be a sentence of something that had happened that week—something funny or emotional that one of us said."

Lively went on to say that her husband sent "just a little quote of the week," and while it was a small gesture it certainly meant a lot.

"It was such a beautiful, romantic thing," she recalled. "Now we have 4,000 children!"

(The pair actually share four children—James, Inez, Betty and Olin—though at times caring for four kids probably feels like caring for 4,000 feral offspring, so fair.)

Lively and Reynolds first met in 2010 on the set of the not-so-popular superhero film Green Lantern. At the time, Lively was dating her Gossip Girl co-star Penn Badgley and Reynolds was married to actress Scarlett Johansson.

Eventually, the pair ended their previous relationships and started dating. In 2012, the couple got married in a private celebration in South Carolina. The rest, as they say, is history.

Eleven years later, and while Reynolds may not be sending Lively flowers and sweet notes every day the couple certainly still finds a way to pack on the PDA and show one another that the love is clearly still there.

Most recently, at the premiere for It Ends With Us in New York City on Tuesday, the actress was caught on camera casually grabbing husband Ryan Reynolds' butt as she headed towards a reporter to answer questions. The gesture was, of course, caught on camera and shared on social media.

"The way he wasn't even phased [sic] either like he already knew it was her," one person commented on TikTok about Reynolds not even turning around post-butt grab. "Being in a relationship where ur partner is literally ur bestfriend is the best."

"This is the one relationship that if it ends I'm done forever," another user wrote. "They are so perfect for each other and I just can't imagine them not being together. So they better make it to the end."

Despite public displays of affection and doting social media posts, Lively was forced to recently shutdown rumors her and Reynolds were headed for a divorce.

"You and Ryan need to post more of each other, there were rumors going around that you two got divorced and I didn’t believe it because you two are literally the perfect couple," one fan commented on a recent Instagram post of Lively kissing Reynolds as his comic book character, Deadpool.

Fame has its perks—but I didn't quite realize until now that free belly rubs were one of them.

Still, for Ryan Reynolds, the offer of belly rubs is a rare enough occurrence that he felt compelled to respond to one that came to his attention.

Taking to Instagram Stories on Sunday, the Deadpool & Wolverine actor posted a picture of a sign outside a vet practice called Okanagan Veterinary Hospital in Kelowna, British Columbia, which read, "free belly rubs with exam," then established the terms and conditions: "sorry pets only and Ryan Reynolds."

While this was clearly meant as a joke, Reynolds was dead serious (not really) when he wrote on his Story, "Don’t think for a second I won’t come in to redeem this offer. Belly rubs are why I became a golden retriever in the first place."

He also tagged the vet practice for a little extra free publicity.

Reynolds does indeed qualify for the "golden retriever" category of boyfriends and husbands in many ways—most notably because he's such a loving partner to Blake Lively, including making sure she gets to meet some of her musical heroes.

Meanwhile, the Canadian actor is known for being a big dog lover, having owned several over the years, including a golden named Baxter.

Turns out, even though Ryan Reynolds has been married to Blake Lively since 2012, he's still learning new things about his wife.

Recently, the actress and proud mom debuted her new hair care line named Blake Brown. While taking to Instagram to celebrate Lively and her accomplishment, Reynolds revealed that he had no idea Brown was actually Blake Lively's official last name.

"I'm obscenely proud of this woman. She's been working on @blakebrownbeauty for 7 years," Reynolds wrote on his Instagram Stories, People reports. "And the result is exactly what you'd expect of a hyper-obsessive, detail addicted, uncompromising quality control genius. Also, I just found out her last name is Brown."

Reynolds isn't the only one to be a bit surprised to learn that Lively is not Blake's "real" last name. The actress did explain her surname situation recently and while speaking to reporters at a New York City event celebrating the launch of her latest endeavor.

“Brown is my dad's name. My dad took Lively from my mom, which is her story to tell. It's a longer, much more interesting story," Lively explained at the time, as reported by People. "But I just thought that was really cool. My mom had three kids and he was like, ‘I'm not going to take their name from them, I'm not going to make them take my name. I'll just take their name.’ That was before I was born, well before I was born."

Lively went on to explain that her father took the surname Lively and that as a result she has "only ever been called Blake Lively," despite what is actually on her birth certificate.

"Blake Brown was on my birth certificate and then would show up in legal documents here and there. It was always kind of like an identity I never fully stepped into," she continued. "Yet it was the most intimate identity of mine because it's like the most personal name."

While Lively's father is not the only husband or partner to decide to adopt his wife's surname, it is a decision that is rather uncommon in the United States. According to one 2023 Pew Research survey, only 5% of men in opposite-sex marriages take their wife's last name when they get married, and less than 1% of men choose to hyphenate their last names.

Lively said that because people "don't know anything about" her official last name (including her husband, apparently) it was important to her to pay homage to her real surname via her new hair care line, and then to speak candidly about her father's decision to take her mom's last name.

"People don't know anything about it," she explained at the time. "It was important to me to put my name on this brand because I worked so hard on it and is so personal to me."

Taylor Swift has more than proven Ryan Reynolds' claim that she is "funny. Funny!"

The popstar posted a rare Instagram Story on Thursday ahead of Deadpool & Wolverine's official release on Friday, to promote her friend's project in his own language: the language of trolling.

Alongside a picture of herself with Reynolds, Blake Lively, Hugh Jackman, and director Shawn Levy, Swift wrote a message that seemed directed at the Canadian actor.

"Over the past few years I have watched one of my best friends on this planet pour every bit of his heart, soul, sweat, time, energy, jokes, pain, joy, rebellion, darkness, and magic into this film," she sweetly began.

"He's created the best work of his life, and this film feels like an actual joy portal, a wild escape from reality, and an abs sandwich. I don't know how he did it."

And then she wrote, "But that's just Hugh for you!"

The singer then switched gears, adding, "These other randoms crashed the photo and we were too polite to ask them to leave.

"Deadpool and Wolverine is out TOMORROW!" She linked to Fandango, and concluded, "Shout out to Wade Wilson, aka my godkids' sperm donor!"

There's a lot to unpack here, for example the revelation that Swift is indeed godmother to at least two of the Lively-Reynolds children, James, Inez, Betty and Olin.

This is also proof that the singer is just as close with the Proposal star as she is with his famous wife, since she's comfortable enough to lovingly make fun of him.

Lively reposted Swift's Story, writing, "I couldn't have said it better myself. Which is unsurprising given that I have 14 less grammys and not a single sold out stadium world tour."

Sadly, we now know that Swift doesn't make a surprise appearance in the film—like many fans had speculated—but Lively does, and that's something!

As for Jackman, we know Swift has been good friends with him for at least a few months, since she attended a Chiefs game with the X-Men star, plus Lively, Reynolds and more, back in October.

Ryan Reynolds earned about one thousand husband points at the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere.

After the event, his wife Blake Lively took to Instagram Stories to share how delighted she was to get to meet 4/5 of NSYNC on Monday.

She posted a sweet photo of herself posing with Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, and Chris Kirkpatrick, and wrote, "No one will ever know what this moment meant to me. No. One. Ever. I am living in a simulation. My face knows it. Happiest human ever"

Indeed, in the photo she was grinning wide with her mouth open and her eyes closed, wearing her second outfit of the night (a stunning blue and red floral-embellished mini dress), as Bass held onto her arm.

The Gossip Girl alum also revealed that she got to meet members of her fave boy band of yore thanks to her loving husband and star of Deadpool & Wolverine.

Lively wrote, "And [thank you] to my husband @vancityreynolds for being the most romantic person on the planet and making all of my dreams come true last night via @deadpoolmovie."

Deadpool & Wolverine has been making waves this week as we await its release on Friday. Among the topics on every fan's lips is the question of who plays Lady Deadpool—could it be Lively herself? Taylor Swift? King Charles? Sadly, we'll have to wait to find out.

Ryan Reynolds has once again seemingly confirmed that his pal Taylor Swift is NOT Lady Deadpool in his new movie Deadpool & Wolverine.

Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week, the actor addressed the fan speculation about the potential cameos in the movie by telling Fallon, "I would say this, we don't really have cameos as much as surprises."

But the talk show host was having none of this, and muttered under his breath, "Taylor Swift."

Eventually, Reynolds told him, "I wish! Taylor—if I ever stop, she'd make a good Deadpool. She's funny. Funny! Funny!"

The actor did say this, "There are surprises. I would say that the folks that do show up in the movie—I have no idea how we've managed to keep it secret, given the internet and all this stuff—somehow it hasn't come out. I would say that they're more surprises." The reason Reynolds doesn't think of these as cameos is that these surprising people don't show up for a second and then vanish; they're actually integral to the plot.

Reynolds has previously responded to fan theories about who Lady Deadpool could be, speaking to costar Hugh Jackman for Entertainment Tonight.

"I wouldn't characterize some of these things as, like, cameos as much as I would say surprises," he said.

"But there have been a lot online about everything from Taylor—Swift—to, I mean... We've heard all kinds, I mean, King Charles, at one point, as Lady Deadpool. I mean, Lady Deadpool is royalty!"

He continued, "I've seen a lot of them, but I've sort of generated a lot of that, too. I was putting Mickey Mouse in there holding a big bag of cash, all kinds of stuff, so yeah. I went out and wrecked the algorithm earlier on for that. But still, nobody seems to have guessed correctly."

Obviously, Reynolds' actress wife Blake Lively has come up as a potential Lady Deadpool, especially since she wore a Deadpool-inspired outfit to the world premiere of the movie, and shared a set photo of her kissing Reynolds as Deadpool.

Gigi Hadid could also be a plausible candidate, given that she showed up to the premiere in a Wolverine-inspired outfit.

Other fan theories for the Lady Deadpool casting include Madonna, Rob McElhenney, and my personal favorite: Ryan Reynolds in a wig.

Meanwhile, whether or not Jimmy Fallon knew who Lady Deadpool was when he sat down with Reynolds, he definitely knows now that he's attended the premiere.

Recently, Blake Lively joked that her husband of 12 years, Ryan Reynolds, was trying to get her pregnant again by posing for a photo with a dog—and, um, he actually might be doing just that.

Though Lively and Reynolds are parents to four kids—James, Inez, Betty, and Olin, with the latter’s name being revealed just last night—Reynolds told E! News that he is open to having more. Reynolds told the outlet that he wants “As many [kids] as possible,” he said. “As many little heartbeats as possible, just running around, wrecking stuff in the house. I love it. Let’s have more!” Reynolds added of expanding their brood “The more the merrier.” 

While appearing on Live with Kelly and Mark yesterday promoting his new film Deadpool & Wolverine, Reynolds shared that he and Lively always have their children at the front of their mind, per People.

“We went on a date the other night and our oldest was going to kill us,” Reynolds said of their nine-year-old daughter James. “Just for going on a date—just for tending to the relationship. And we did, and what’s crazy is, the whole time we’re there, we just talked about [our kids], when you think you’re going to be talking about [something else].”

While they were out on date night, rest assured, apparently, that Lively’s BFF Taylor Swift was not back at home babysitting for them. As he and co-star Hugh Jackman promoted Deadpool & Wolverine, Jackman joked that Swift is doubling as Lively and Reynolds’ nanny, per Us Weekly. But, according to Reynolds, there’s no way—even as successful as he and Lively are—that they could afford her services: “The cost of that is—I believe the accountant said, ‘Cost-prohibitive,’” Reynolds said. “But I think what he meant was, ‘Cost-insane-what-are-you-doing-I’m-no-longer-your-accountant.’”

And speaking of Lively’s friends, she said that Reynolds regularly crashes her girls’ nights with friends like Swift and Gigi Hadid, who also weighed in while alongside Lively at the New York City premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine last night, per Us Weekly. “He can hang with men, but he’s really a hen at heart,” Lively said. 

Hadid agreed and chimed in, adding that “He loves a girls’ night and to hear all the goss.”

Will the next “goss” be news of baby No. 5 for Lively and Reynolds? We shall see.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the event, the It Ends With Us actress revealed that her husband loves to drop in on her girls' nights (which sometimes include Hadid). "He’s such a hen," she said (via Us Weekly). "He can hang with men, but he’s really a hen at heart."

The supermodel concurred, telling the outlet, "He loves a girls’ night and to hear all the goss." I'm approximately zero percent surprised by this information.

Also at the premiere for the new Marvel movie, Reynolds finally revealed the name of his fourth child with Lively, which is Olin. They welcomed their youngest in early 2023, and also share daughters James, Inez, and Betty.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have finally let us curious souls in on the name of their fourth child.

At the world premiere for his new movie Deadpool & Wolverine in New York City on Monday, Reynolds spoke on stage to introduce the film, and unceremoniously revealed the name of his youngest kid to the world.

"I just want to start by saying thank you to my wife Blake, who's here," the actor said.

"I want to thank my kids James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here. I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing—that is, the contents of this movie—that happens in your wondrous life. I love that my entire family is here."

Olin was born sometime in early 2023, and the parents of four kept the name under wraps ever since. We only found out that Lively had given birth because of an Instagram photo from February of last year in which she appeared sans baby bump. She hinted at this major life event with the simple words, "been busy."

The couple's older kids, all daughters, are James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4—names which you may recognize from family friend Taylor Swift's 2020 song "Betty," from Folklore.

Because Swift revealed Betty's name with that song, there were fan theories that she could have done the same thing for Olin somewhere on her album The Tortured Poets Department, but no such luck.

Speaking of Swift, she came up in a recent interview about Deadpool & Wolverine, when costar Hugh Jackman joked to E! News that the popstar is the Lively-Reynolds family nanny. Reynolds responded, "The cost of that is… I believe the accountant said, 'Cost-prohibitive.' But I think what he meant was, 'Cost-insane-what-are-you-doing-I’m-no-longer-your-accountant.'" LOL.

News, led the actress to claim that her husband of 12 years was trying to get her pregnant with baby No. 5. 

Reynolds took the stage for a recent Deadpool & Wolverine event holding “Dogpool”—also known as Peggy or Mary Puppins—who is “a dog in the film who previously won Ugliest Dog in Britain,” E! News reports. (First of all, there is no such thing as an ugly dog. Okay?) “The video of the pair [Reynolds and the pup] together had Blake feeling some type of way.”

Lively wrote “SOS” on her Instagram Story alongside a video of her husband and Peggy, adding “He’s trying to get me pregnant again.”

Lively and Reynolds are already parents to daughters James, Inez, and Betty, as well as a fourth child born in 2023 whose name and gender haven’t been revealed yet. “Put the dog that you find adorable in spite of societal K9 expectations away and take off the damn teal suit,” Lively added, directed at Reynolds. “Rude.”

This “isn’t the first time she has joked about conceiving babies over her husband’s social media activity,” Page Six writes. “When she said the same in 2020, Reynolds jokingly replied that he was ‘out of office’ and would ‘respond to [the] message as soon as possible upon [his] unlikely return.'”

Reynolds and Peggy were at a Deadpool & Wolverine event alongside co-star Hugh Jackman in London, and Lively has been spending some time with her own co-stars, as her film It Ends With Us nears its August 9 release date. Lively sported an all-denim outfit while out to dinner with her co-stars at Carbone in New York City, People reports; over the weekend, Lively shared a post about her Self Portrait denim minidress that was embellished with rhinestones and a denim Dries Van Noten trench coat, cheekily writing “You say Canadian Prom Dress, I say It’s Britney Bitch,” she wrote of the look, referring, of course, to Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake’s iconic his-and-hers denim fashion moment at the American Music Awards in 2001. 

When it comes to her Instagram, Lively’s got jokes—although maybe the baby No. 5 isn’t a joke at all? Time will tell, we suppose.

In a caption accompanying photos where she reviews floral collages and poses with a movie tie-in version of the It Ends With Us book, Lively revealed that her brocade shirt jacket and coordinating shorts came from the insider-beloved fashion brand Bode. And, that the shirt belongs to Reynolds.

"@bode thank you for the coolest short suit. And @vancityreynolds thank you for donating your @bode shirt for me to layer with said suit," Lively wrote.

The actress matched a cropped black tube top and towering Versace heels—valued at $1,102—with the suit's moody florals. She wore her hair down in her signature loose waves.

Blake Lively's followers may have noticed that her fashion has been extra floral over the past few months. During the Tribeca Film Festival, she wore a colorful pajama suit printed with blossoms and tiny double-C Chanel logos. Lively noted that she's starting a "month of floral fashion" in the lead up to It Ends With Us's August premiere. "Givin’ you all the full Lily Bloom style in real life," she said. Her caption went on to mention her husband, Ryan Reynolds and close friend Gigi Hadid, as well as the interiors companies Pierce & Ward and House of Hackney, as "inspo" for her botanical style references.

Referencing her florist character with petal-adorned clothing is Blake Lively's way of tapping into Hollywood's "method dressing" trend. Actors have spent the past year getting into character on the red carpet, choosing outfits that obliquely or subtly nod to their roles onscreen. Sometimes the reference comes from the designer's backstory; other times it's in a surface level pattern or color connecting to the plot. Margot Robbie's Barbie press tour and Zendaya's outfits for Dune and Challengers surfaced some of the more over-the-top examples. Back in the day, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds used to playfully troll one another on social media. But now, it seems, Lively is trending more towards celebrating her husband’s physique, as Reynolds’ latest, Deadpool & Wolverine, prepares to open in theaters later this month (July 26, to be exact).

The latest? Well, Lively had a racy response to a photo of her husband in a white vest, posted on Instagram yesterday. The photo was actually posted by Reynolds’ Deadpool & Wolverine co-star Hugh Jackman, in a photo that showed off Reynolds’ muscles as the pair’s press tour kicked off for their film in Shanghai, China. “In the shot, Reynolds pointed and stared at the camera, while red and yellow purses could be seen on the table behind him in an apparent nod to the colors of his and Jackman’s character’s costumes,” People writes.  

Continuing “their ongoing faux feud,” as the outlet puts it, Jackman captioned the post “‘You want me to put this away?’ — Ryan Reynolds, co-star, mouth breather, asshole.”

But all Lively (and, hey, a whole lot of other people) could see was the muscles. She commented “My thirst has been trapped,” alluding to, you know, a thirst trap (sorry, just explaining for the one person who may not get it).

Reynolds himself jokingly responded to Jackman’s photo, writing “This photo is from my private collection. How dare you?” He quipped “You’ve brought shame upon my house”—as he shared the photo to his own Instagram Story.

Reynolds himself shared a carousel of images documenting his time with Jackman in Shanghai, and wrote “Leaving Shanghai is bittersweet…This was the first stop on the #DeadpoolAndWolverineTour. As we make our way to Korea, we want to thank the people of Shanghai for the incredible hospitality and warmth.”

He continued “I’ve been lucky to visit China five times—and as of today, the beautiful sights and sounds of Shanghai for a third time. While Reynolds promotes his new movie, Lively recently shared some highlights of her travels in Italy; the well-traveled pair also recently traveled to Madrid, Spain, where they saw close friend Taylor Swift perform her Eras Tour there back in May.

Blake Lively might like mermaid chic sequins or a bridal naked dress, but she loves a good pair of jeans and trendy sneakers. Ryan Reynolds are the parents of four children—three daughters and a fourth baby, whose name and sex haven’t been announced—and Reynolds revealed in a recent People interview that his brood hold passports for both the United States and Canada, a fact he’s proud of.

Reynolds spoke to, of all people, Hugh Jackman for the magazine’s latest cover story, where they joked about their Commonwealth connection. (Reynolds is Canadian, and Jackman is Australian.) Jackman led off, saying of his two kids “It was a really important thing for us that we spent time in Australia…[and] they felt part Australian, and I’m really proud of that,” he said. “I think if you ask them, they’ll say, ‘I’m Australian.’ And they’ll say, ‘No, I’m American, too, but I’m Australian.’” Jackman-as-interviewer then turned the question to Reynolds, asking him “How are you with the kids? Is that something for you?”

“My kids, they have Canadian passports as well, and they feel a real connection to that,” Reynolds responded. “It’s a point of pride of theirs. They’ve also spent huge amounts of their formative years in Canada, and particularly Vancouver.”

Reynolds shot the first two Deadpool films in Vancouver, and he joked “I only had one child in Deadpool 1 and I had two on Deadpool 2, but hopefully we don’t do a Deadpool 8, because I don’t want eight kids.” (Hey, he and Lively are halfway there, so what’s four more? Kidding.) On a more serious note, he added of James, Inez, Betty, and his youngest that “They love being from Canada. They tell people they are. ‘Oh, I’m half Canadian, half American.’”

Though he and Lively are raising their kids in New York, Reynolds told the Vancouver Sun in November 2023 that the family might relocate to Canada eventually: “We’ve been—I guess I could characterize it as subtly looking for a while,” he said of house hunting in British Columbia. “Thankfully, my wife is obsessed with Vancouver and the food scene in Vancouver. I’m obsessed with the childhood that I was given, and how privileged that was to grow up in a place like Vancouver, which I think has imbued tenets that I have taken and carried with me throughout my entire career.” 

He added “It has really given me the tools to process and deal with a lot of the things maybe some of my peers maybe have slightly more maladaptive coping mechanisms to deal with.”

Reynolds continued, per Us Weekly, that he is “still friends with most of the people I went to school with here. They all tend to have something inside of them, I think, [that] wants to see the world, the country, or the city—or whatever you want to call it—a bit of a better place. I am deeply appreciative of that.” 

Prince William—a well-known fútbol aficionado—has a deep, childhood connection to actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's popular Wrexham Football Club.

In the latest episode of the hit FX television series Welcome to Wrexham,—which aired on Thursday, May 30—the Prince of Wales made an appearance in support of the successful soccer team and in celebration of St. David’s Day, which is observed on March 1.

During the episode, the creators reveal Prince William's perhaps surprising boyhood connection to the club and its executive director, Humphrey Ker.

"I went to school with Prince William. I have known him since I was 7, or something like that,” Ker said in a confessional-like scene. “We literally shared a bedroom from 7 until 10.”

As Us Weekly reports, the royal and Ker both attended Ludgrove School and Eton College as boys. In the episode, Prince William says that it has “been a while” since the pair had seen each other as the two shook hands.

"Prince William is here in Wrexham today because it is St. David’s Day, which is obviously the Welsh, sort of, national holiday,” Ker said during the episode. “Only we don’t get the day off St. David’s Day, which is a bit of a swiz.

“As Prince of Wales, Prince William has gotta come and press the flesh, kiss babies and do all that sort of business that princes do,” the executive director continued. “For us, it’s great that Wrexham Football Club and Wrexham as a whole has become a place the royals put on their itinerary when they’re coming to visit Wales.”

In the episode, the Princes of Wales also met with the team's co-chairman, McElhenney, and asked the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star if "the journey has been as exciting as it looks on the outside?”

“It’s great what you guys are doing, it really is," Prince William continued.

In response, McElhenney said the squad has “exceeded anything we could have ever imagined."

"You give so many football fans, whose team maybe is not in the glory days that they want to be or used to be, the hope and the optimism that one day you can be back,” William said, praising McElhenney and the entire Wrexham team for all they have accomplished since Reynolds and his co-chairman purchased the team in 2021.

Actor Ryan Reynolds is opening up about his mental health struggles and why he thinks they're actually a blessing in disguise, especially when it comes to parenting.

In a recent interview with fellow thespian Hugh Jackman for People's latest cover story, the Deadpool star was asked if he believes his "anxiety struggles" are made better or worse now that he's a parent. In response, Reynolds explained that his anxiety helps him be a more compassionate, more present and more understanding parent.

"I think it makes it better because your focus is less on yourself and more on your kids," Reynolds explained, adding that he knows Jackman "knows that too."

"Now I love that I have anxiety, I love that I've had anxiety," Reynolds continued. "Because when I see my kids experiencing some of that, which is probably genetic, I know how to address it in a way that is compassionate, that actually allows them to feel seen. I know that I can't just fix it. And I can communicate all that stuff to them and with them. I'm always grateful for it."

Reynolds shares four children with his wife and fellow actor Blake Lively—Betty, Ines, James, and the couple's newest addition whose name has yet to be revealed to the public.

During a recent appearance on TODAY, the proud dad described what it was like to recently parent his four children solo while his wife was away.

“No one died, which was nice,” he said at the time. "And four kids, it’s just a zoo! Like, you just surrender, right? You just surrender 24/7."

One 2022 Harvard study found that an estimated 20% of mothers and 15% of fathers report feeling anxiety—and anxiety among parents and caregivers was made worse by COVID-19. According to one 2021 study, 34% of U.S. parents said they experienced "elevated anxiety symptoms" as a result of the pandemic.

Jackman, who is the proud father of two, shared his own experience with anxiety and how it impacts him as a parent.

"I used to be a little bit old-school. I thought: 'Don’t burden them if you are anxious,'" he explained. "Say you’ve got an opening night, or you’re hosting the Oscars—for three weeks before, I go a little distant. And then someone said to me: 'But your kids don’t know that you’ve got the Oscars. Maybe they’re thinking you’re mad with them (or) they’ve done something.'

"I had to make an uncomfortable phone call yesterday, and I actually just said to my son: 'I’ve got to make this uncomfortable phone call. I’m a bit nervous about it. If I seem a bit off, that’s why,'" he continued. "And he goes: 'Oh.' And then he said, 'How did the call go, Dad?' I said, 'I feel so much better.'”

Reynolds reportedly nodded in agreement, before replying: "And he feels apart of your world."

Last year, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds welcomed their fourth child, but have yet to publicly share either the name or the gender of the youngest of their brood.

Last month, Lively’s close friend Taylor Swift released her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. Now, Swift has a tradition, if you will, or a penchant for including the names of Lively and Reynolds’ three older children Betty, James, and Inez in her songs—Swift’s 2020 song “Betty” from her Folklore record is pretty straightforward (though only one of the girls’ names makes the title of the song, all three girls are mentioned in the lyrics), and James is namechecked in Swift’s song “Gorgeous,” off of 2017’s Reputation. Swift is known for dropping Easter eggs into her lyrics—so could the name of the Lively/Reynolds baby No. 4 have ended up on The Tortured Poets Department as one of the many names mentioned? 

The Today Show decided to go to one of the primary sources this morning, asking Reynolds whether his new baby’s name made it to TTPD: “Taylor Swift keeps dropping it into lyrics, so just tell us this—is the fourth child’s name, the baby’s name, anywhere on the new record?” co-host Savannah Guthrie asked Reynolds, who was on the show promoting his new movie IF. “She’s been wondering if we’re going to have to wait for another song,” co-host Hoda Kotb chimed in.

Reynolds, jokingly dodging the question, responded “We always wait for Taylor to tell us what the child’s name will be.” He continued “We’ll say this. We’re still waiting—so, Taylor, let’s maybe start. You know, [she’s a] prolific writer. I mean, what are we doing here? And lazy’s not a word I’d attach to Taylor.”

Lively and Reynolds kept the three older daughters’ “Betty” namecheck a secret from them until the song was finished, Reynolds said in a SiriusXM Town Hall interview in August 2021. “We surprised them with it,” he said, per People. “They didn’t know. They had no idea.” He went on to joke, “We don’t tell them anything. We find they’re most compliant if you offer them no access to outside information.”

In 2022, Swifties thought she might have hinted at the new baby’s name in her song “You’re on Your Own, Kid,” which was released shortly after Lively announced her pregnancy—and features the name Daisy May (or Mae, we’re not totally sure). What we do know? That the baby was born in February 2023, and that Lively and Reynolds (and their circle of friends) are really good at remaining tight-lipped.

Later on in his Today interview, Reynolds dished on how he took care of the kids while Lively famously attended the Super Bowl with Swift in Las Vegas: “I took them all to the park, told them Mommy left when they were young,” he joked, adding that they had a “good time” together. “No one died, which was nice, and four kids, it’s just a zoo,” he said. “Like, you just surrender, right?”

Reynolds joked about the struggles of being a dad of four, telling Guthrie and Kotb “When we had our fourth, I was so happy because I always wanted to make sure that we had someone on hand to give me strep throat, and now we’re covered,” he said. “There’s just never a full, clean slate of health, ever.”

In celebration of his friend and Wrexham fútbol club co-chairman Rob McElhenney's birthday, the Deadpool actor shared a video across his numerous social media accounts announcing his Titanic-inspired gift.

(For the uninitiated, McElhenney's birthday is April 14, the same day the Titanic sank in 1912.)

"So, for his big day this year, I financed an expedition to the ocean floor to retrieve a few bottles of Wrexham Lager, which was actually on that maiden voyage, to use in an epic birthday toast," Reynolds jokes in the video, referring to a real beer made by a company sharing the same name as the friends' Welsh soccer team.

"We searched and searched, and while unfortunately we didn't find any drinkable Wrexham Lager," Reynolds continues, "what we did find was even more beautiful..."

Reynolds then unveiled his prank birthday gift—a hand-drawn portrait of McElhenney in the style of Kate Winslet's nude drawing from the 1997 movie Titanic. The It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star can be seen posing shirtless, a-la Winslet, wearing the coveted (albeit fictional) Heart of the Ocean necklace.

"It felt like Rob’s birthday was today but apparently it’s tomorrow? I’m posting because it’s now the 14th in Wrexham and I’ll bet people are still up!" Reynolds wrote in an Instagram caption alongside the posted video. "Happy Birthday, @robmcelhenney, and LFG, @wrexham_afc!!! Thanks to @vistaprint & @TyPawb."

Model Gigi Hadid certainly appreciates Ryan Reynolds’ support of her fashion brand, but that doesn't mean she's above poking a little harmless fun at the actor and entrepreneur as well.

On April 12, Hadid re-shared a photo Reynolds posted on Instagram of the actor wearing a $566.79 cardigan from her clothing line Guest in Residence to her Instagram stories.

"Thank you mostly because we collectively, as a team, geek out every time you wear GIR," Hadid wrote across the re-post, tagging the Deadpool actor. "You will ever look like Blake in it… but you know this & I find you a more useful friend of the brand because you love trying all the new prices and she’s been wearing the same shirt from two winters ago through every season."

As the model alluded to in her Instagram post, this is far from the first time Reynolds has sported Hadid's fashion brand. In December 2023, Reynolds posted a mirror selfie to his Instagram stories showing the actor sporting a $793 dark gray tweed work shirt.

Reynolds decided to layer the shirt over a white t-shirt and paired the look with black-framed glassed.

In honor of her husband Ryan Reynolds' upcoming movie 'If,' the actress and proud mom of three shared a trailer for the film on her Instagram stories, accompanied by a super sweet message.

"Everything I believed as a kid did turn out to be true … his name is @vancityreynolds,” she wrote on the video, quoting from the trailer's tagline. "Well, his legal name isn’t, At Vancity Reynolds. But he is dreamy and he is in @ifmovie which is also pure magic."

The film, which follows the story of what happens when a young child's imagination comes to life, hits theaters on May 17 and features a slew of famous actors, including Steve Carell, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Jon Stewart and Maya Rudolph. It is directed by the The Office star John Krasinksi.

Lively has always been one to give her husband his flowers for not only his acting prowess, but for his ultimate role as devoted husband and father.

As if we weren't jealous enough of Lively's fairytale marriage to Ryan Reynolds, she's now given us another reason to love them together. Lively shared a photo of her husband on her Instagram, declaring him to be her "Skater Boy."

In the photo, Reynolds is holding a skateboard and helmet, wearing a beanie hat, Converse sneakers, and sunglasses. The Deadpool star is offering his wife a shy smile.

The photo is accompanied by Avril Lavigne's iconic 2002 hit, "Sk8er Boi" with the lyrics flashing across the screen. Lively further tagged the famous singer and wrote, "Dreams really do come true."

Just about every girl dreamed of their own "Sk8er Boi" at the height of the song's popularity, and Lively is rubbing in the fact that she got one.

The couple always manage to have fun together on Instagram. Recently Reynolds took to Instagram to promote the new trailer for Deadpool 3, thinly veiled as a question to his wife.

Lively and Reynolds share daughters James, Inez, Betty, and a fourth child, whose birth was revealed in February 2023. The rule, established before kids were in the picture, is proving even more important now that there are four more members of their family. “There’s nothing on earth more grounding than having a baby,” Reynolds told E! News. “It’s the best thing that could ever happen to someone.” 

For the Super Bowl earlier this month, Reynolds watched the kids while Lively joined close friend Taylor Swift at the championship game in Las Vegas. Another rule to the success of their marriage seems to be trolling one another on social media—the two take playful jabs consistently and constantly—and Reynolds used the occasion to poke fun at his wife again at the NFL title game. He wrote on Instagram of Lively—who was shown multiple times at the game, standing next to Swift—“Has anyone seen my wife?” (Reynolds joined Lively and Swift for a Kansas City Chiefs game earlier in the season, when the Chiefs squared off against the New York Jets in October. Everyone’s a Chiefs fan now, by the way, because of one Travis Kelce, who—breaking news—Swift is dating.)

Just the whole world watching the Super Bowl; the famous actress joined the Taylor Swift squad in their VIP box on Sunday.

Lively and Swift were joined by many other famous faces, such as Ice Spice, Lana del Rey, and Ashley Avignone, while they cheered of Travis Kelce and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Well, Reynolds clearly wasn't too pleased to be left at home by his wife, as he took to Instagram to make one of his famous jokes.

The trailer for Deadpool 3 had been one of the ad spots during the NFL title game, and Reynolds shared a photo of himself in front of that trailer, asking "Has everyone seen the #Deadpool trailer?”

He then added, "Also has anyone seen my wife?” 

Reynolds later shared a photo of Lively's arm, featuring multiple gold bangles and a Deadpool charm, and captioned it, "Found my wife."

But Lively is never one to let Reynolds have the last laugh. Upon returning to their NYC apartment, Lively posted her own response: she posed in front of the same Deadpool trailer, with the text, "Honey, I'm home. My day was good. Yours?"

The tracksuit is gone, but Lively is still in Chiefs red and sporting her '80s mussed curls.

Blake Lively normally has a plus one by the name of Ryan Reynolds, but last night it was Lively who was the plus one, hanging out with BFF Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl watching Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs battle towards a Super Bowl ring. (Spoiler alert: they won over the San Francisco 49ers—in dramatic fashion!)

Lively and Reynolds have long been known for playfully poking fun at one another on social media, and last night was no exception. Though Lively, Swift, and the rest of their crew (Ice Spice! Ashley Avignone! At one point, Paul McCartney!) were—other than the game itself and Usher—pretty much the focal point of the night, Reynolds had his moment in the sun during the big game, as well. He appeared in the Deadpool 3 trailer, one of the ad spots during the NFL title game, and Reynolds made sure to mention that—as well as throw in a little joke about Lively in the process.

“Has everyone seen the #Deadpool trailer?” he posted on Instagram last night during the game. “Also has anyone seen my wife?” 

This isn’t Lively’s first Chiefs game—and last time, she brought Reynolds along with her. (He apparently stayed at home with the kids for this one.) The couple joined Swift—as well as a host of other celebrities, like Hugh Jackman, Sophie Turner, and Sabrina Carpenter—for the Chiefs’ contest against the New York Jets back in October. After the Chiefs won, Lively and Reynolds congratulated Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes on the win, and Reynolds “looked thrilled” when he spotted Mahomes “in the tunnel of the stadium,” People reports. “Reynolds and Mahomes shared a hug and chatted briefly about the close game, while Lively appeared to tell the quarterback he was ‘amazing’ during the conversation.”

If Reynolds couldn’t find his wife, he was the only one whose eyes weren’t fixed on her—Marie Claire reported last night that Lively wore an Adidas x Balenciaga tracksuit, a white crop top, stilettos, bouncy curls, and several pieces of yellow gold Tiffany & Co. jewelry, including an 18k gold Tiffany Hardware graduated chain necklace and three coordinating bracelets. She added diamond studs and Elsa Peretti snake drop earrings to complete the jewelry part of the ‘fit, which Page Six totaled up as worth a cool half a million bucks (well, $469,075 to be exact).

Consider the plus one game permanently elevated. And Ryan, if you still can’t find Blake—follow the glow of her bling.

Ryan Reynolds is taking a short break from trolling his wife Blake Lively to instead troll the entire internet.

The Canadian actor announced a serious message on Instagram—that filming had wrapped on Deadpool 3—alongside an extremely unserious photo of his crotch in the Deadpool 'fit. Mmmmh, k?

"The suit hides blood. Also sweat… But today, with Deadpool wrapping, it’s mostly tears," Reynolds wrote.

"A giant and forever thanks to the cast and crew of our film who battled wind, rain, strikes and @thehughjackman… all under the stalwart leadership of @slevydirect

"I got to make a movie with my closest pals and that doesn’t happen very often. See ya July 26th…"

"Balls of steel," commented one person.

"I just opened Instagram..." complained another.

"Ryan why did you post only the lower part of your body," asked a curious fan.

"such a beautiful message attached to a crotch picture," pointed out another, discrepancy-conscious commenter.

This is the second time in a matter of days that Reynolds has gone down the thirst trap route somewhat in relation to the upcoming movie.

The star took to Instagram Stories earlier this week to share a mirror selfie from the gym, complete with a 3 a.m. time stamp and a Deadpool gif to show how seriously he was taking his superhero training for the movie.

Hugh Jackman is set to reprise his legendary role as Wolverine in the third installment of the darkly humorous superhero franchise, which is based on a series of Marvel Comics, and joined Reynolds in showing off his workout routine for it.

So yeah, that's a lot of muscle we'll be getting treated to this summer, I'll tell ya.

Eat, sleep, gym, repeat. Only in Ryan Reynolds' case, I'm not sure if sleep fits into that.

The actor and father of four shared a mirror selfie in the gym this morning—bright and early at 3 a.m.

The selfie showed Reynolds standing in a white vest top, black sweatpants, and a baseball cap, surrounded by large weights. Too bad his "Instagram Boyfriend" wasn't there to take his photo this time, also known as his IRL wife Blake Lively.

On top of the image, Reynolds placed a rotating "3:AM" sticker and a GIF of his character from Deadpool hanging upside down and displaying a heart shape with his hands.

Reynolds will be reprising his role as Wade Wilson in Deadpool 3, which has begun filming. He was pictured filming scenes on Monday with his new costar, Hugh Jackman, who will reprise the beloved character of Wolverine from the X-Men franchise.

Jackman also shared a video of himself lifting dumbbells at the gym, with the caption, "No days off—except for tomorrow. 💪🏻 #becomingwolverineagain."

Perhaps this is what inspired Reynolds to fit in an extra early workout, or at least to document it.

Deadpool 3 is set to be released in theaters on July 26, 2024, so it'll take a while to see those gains.

Ryan Reynolds may be an actor, an entrepreneur, Deadpool, and even a former Sexiest Man Alive—but he wants to make sure the world knows that, in his words, he’s also proudly Mr. [Blake] Lively.

Welcome to Wrexham—the show about Reynolds’ and Rob McElhenney’s joint ownership of the Welch association football club Wrexham A.F.C.—won an impressive five awards at the 2024 Creative Arts Emmys. While Reynolds "wasn’t at Sunday’s ceremony" (cough, cough) Deadpool—Reynolds’ beloved Marvel character—made an appearance to accept the award (the look included his Deadpool mask and a suit and tie).

“Wow, Mr. Lively couldn’t be here to accept this broken Emmy, so he sent me on his behalf,” Reynolds said in a speech shared via Instagram (and per Us Weekly). “First and foremost, Wrexham, we love you. Thank you for letting Rob and the other guy tell your story. Cymru am byth [Wales forever], b—tches. I’d also like to thank the Academy for this honor and for not asking us to attend the televised awards show with the real celebrities.” (If you’re wondering what he means by “broken Emmy,” he appeared while holding Hugh Jackman’s broken Emmy in his hand. There’s a lot going on here.) 

Reynolds continued referring to himself as “Mr. Lively,” a sweet nod to his wife, whom he has been married to since 2012 and with whom he shares four kids. Reynolds and Lively sneak in occasional sweet moments towards one another but are more known for playfully roasting one another on social media, which they do with aplomb.

At the Creative Arts Emmys, Welcome to Wrexham took home the Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program Award, as well as awards for Outstanding Picture Editing for an Unstructured Reality Program, Outstanding Directing for a Reality Program, Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Reality Program (Single or Multi-Camera), and Outstanding Cinematography for a Reality Program. 

“Wow, an Emmy—what an incredible honor,” McElhenney said during his part of the virtual acceptance speech. “There are so many people to thank. I have been waiting for this moment for 16 years, so I’ve got a lot to say.”

And McElhenney got to say exactly none of it, as he was then interrupted by Reynolds in his Deadpool mask.

Welcome to Wrexham premiered in 2022, about two years after Reynolds and McElhenney bought the team in 2020. The show chronicles the team’s trials and tribulations as a low-level soccer team in Wales and its rise all the way up to (spoiler alert) the club’s promotion to the English Football League (a big deal) for the first time in 15 years. “Rob and I kind of blacked out during this moment, but somehow we’ll never forget it,” Reynolds—I mean Mr. Lively—said on Instagram in April 2023 when Wrexham won the national league championship.

Lively helped us with that last one by sharing photos taken in her rustic loft. The actress and founder of Betty Buzz shared photos of the gold sequined jumpsuit she wore for Michael Kors' New York Fashion Week show in September on Instagram.

Lively captioned the post, "2023 Memories: Only @michaelkors could get me to squeeze into gold sequins way too soon after having a baby. Love you MK✨🪩 ✨ (and yes I low key moonlight as an interior designer but please don’t tell bc I definitely don’t want the world to know that I have a hidden talent which I require external validation on)."

In all seriousness, this apartment is incredible. It has a country home feel, relying largely on pale wood and featuring visible panels.

In the photos, we can also see Lively and Reynolds' oversized grey bed, which is messy and unmade in the most relatable way.

Let's not forget the delicate art deco chandelier resembling a flower hanging above her, showing that Lively takes every detail of home seriously.

It's clear that the couple favors open spaces and minimal designs, instead opting for select pieces to create a chic yet rustic look.

It's just a shame that Lively is blocking the bathroom, as we have no doubt that is just as gorgeous!

It's reported that the couple and their four children live in the heart of Tribeca, in a luxury apartment complex that is also home to Meg Ryan, Jennifer Lawrence, and Justin Timberlake.

This isn't the first time we've been lucky enough to get a glimpse of Lively and Reynolds' stunning apartment, as it's often been the backdrop in Lively's Instagram photos.

While the posts aim to showcase her gorgeous outfits, we're struggling to tear our eyes away from her incredible apartment.

For example, before attending a Tiffany & Co. event, Lively snapped a quick photo of her brown leather dress, complemented perfectly by her washed blue walls and rustic wooden floor.

More recently, Lively celebrated loud luxury in an all-pink feathered dress for the Barbie premiere, which many likened to a look her Gossip Girl character, Serena van der Woodsen, might wear.

While the look was certainly worth even Gossip Girl's attention, our attention was snagged by her backdrop, which included an exposed brick wall and a beige wall. A piece of tasteful art is on the wall, featuring a woman and a peacock.

Let's hope that 2024 brings more photos of their gorgeous loft, or maybe even a home tour! Please?!

As the year comes to a close, celebrities and Muggles alike are sharing end-of-year roundups with their 2023 highlights. And Ryan Reynolds' two best-of-2023 Instagram posts feature everything from beach trips with Blake Lively to a photo with King Charles III.

"Thank you 2023 part 1. In no real order. I got to spend most of the year working and playing with the people I ❤️❤️," the Deadpool star captioned his first post. The slideshow includes photos from his work with Aviation Gin and Welcome to Wrexham, as well as a photo of him, Lively, Taylor Swift, and a few other pals at a football game.

The appearance from King Charles, meanwhile, is from the royal's appearance on Welcome to Wrexham. Charles and Camilla appeared in the docuseries about the Wrexham Football Club, which he co-owns with Rob McElhenney.

Reynolds' second 2023 roundup Instagram post, meanwhile, features more Wrexham pics, as well as a photo with his longtime Hollywood pal Hugh Jackman. Both slideshows also feature shots from Reynolds' charity work, including his fundraising efforts for Toronto's Hospital for Sick Children.

Reynolds uses his star power for a wide variety of hobbies and causes, and it's clear from his year-end roundups that he and Lively have incredibly full lives.

'Tis the season for some quintessential Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney tomfoolery, holiday style!

On Monday, Dec. 18, the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star, McElhenney, shared a photo on Instagram of the actors and business partners recreating Wham!'s iconic “Last Christmas” single album cover.

Reynolds, 47, and McElhenney, 46—who co-own the now-winning, across-the-pond soccer team Wrexham—purposefully styled their hair and outfits to mimic the 80s English pop duo, consisting of the late, great George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley.

The original cover—featuring perfectly coiffed hair and oversized sweaters captured in a black and white photograph—was originally released in 1986.

Not to be outdone, Reynolds also decided to share the same image to his own Instagram Stories. 

Forever the savvy business men, the pair added the logo of their Wrexham soccer club in the corner of the photo and captioned the images with one simple word—“WREXHAM!”—alongside a Christmas tree emoji, because when in Rome!

Reynolds and McElhenney are known for their sweet, comedic antics. In honor of McElhenney's 46th birthday, the Deadpool star uploaded a hilarious video of the musical chant on both YouTube and X, formerly known as Twitter.

And during a season of FX's Welcome to Wrexham — which documents the famous actors co-ownership of the once-failing-turned-successful soccer club—McElhenney roasted his co-owner with some hilarious commentary, noting how often Reynolds hugged some of the Wrexham players sans shirt, "acted like everybody's best friend" and was "kissing babies."

When it comes to the comedic actors, one thing is for certain: There is no love (or jokes) lost between them.

So many of us can remember watching The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and secretly hoping that your friend group could find a piece of clothing that special. I yearned for the friendship I saw in that film, and it makes me feel giddy to know that this friendship extended off-screen (and still does)!

This weekend, Blake Lively gifted all of us fans with the cutest Instagram post, which showed a reunion of Bridget, Carmen, Tibby, and Lena — also known as Lively, America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel. The on-screen and off-screen besties went to an event honoring Ferrera's amazing performance in Barbie, and hung out afterwards — and they even took selfies!

Lively's Instagram post included photos of the actresses at the event, and they definitely got the pink memo! It also includes a selfie of them relaxing in their comfy clothes afterward — celebrities really are just like us, I suppose.

In the caption, Lively praises Ferrera's incredible performance in the film, especially the monologue that took the internet by storm. Also, she finished off the caption with a quote from The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants: "Pants = Love. Love your sisters. Love yourself."

Are you crying yet? Because I definitely am.

But the cuteness overload doesn't end there. Ever the supportive Instagram hubby, Ryan Reynolds was quick to join in on the praise for Ferrera: he shared Lively's post on his story and wrote "One of the most beautiful performances this year: @americaferrera in @barbiethemovie." He also included smaller text saying, "Sisterhood powers activate."

This is just so sweet, and once again proves that they are THE best couple in Hollywood. I can just imagine the two of them snuggled up for a movie night, snapping their fingers at Ferrera's amazing monologue, and squabbling over the popcorn. (Can I join next time?)

Fellas, this is how you support your wife’s friends (who become your friends, too): Ryan Reynolds showed support for wife Blake Lively’s friend Gigi Hadid by modeling items from Hadid’s fashion line, Guest in Residence, on Instagram yesterday.

Posting to his Instagram Story, Reynolds smiled as he posed for a mirror selfie in a dark gray tweed work shirt from the brand over a white t-shirt, writing that Hadid “makes damn nice clothes.” He also tagged Guest in Residence in his post.

In response, Hadid wrote “I like my friends cozy ! ! ! Thank u brother.” Reynolds and Hadid were recently seen hanging out together along with Lively, Taylor Swift, Zoe Kravitz, and Channing Tatum at Italian restaurant Emilio’s Ballato in New York City.

Hadid launched the unisex cashmere brand Guest in Residence in September 2022; in addition to Reynolds, another famous actor—one Hadid is dating—has worn the label: Bradley Cooper, who wore a gray and white plaid work shirt from the brand while walking in New York City, People reports. The couple are “having fun” together and growing closer, the outlet reports. 

Hadid, who is creative director of Guest in Residence, spoke about the line to Elle, revealing that its name was inspired by her travels around the world. “I think I have a pretty sustainable way of dressing,” she said. “I do buy things and consume, but I try to mix them in with things that I’ve always loved and cherished.”

She also added that her daughter, Khai (who she shares with ex Zayn Malik) has inspired her. “Being a mom, you start to think about what the trends and style might be as your child grows up, and what I hope to pass down to her,” Hadid said. “With that in mind, I think my intention with Guest in Residence is to be able to create pieces that are fun in their colorways but classic enough that they can transcend many generations and can be passed down.”

Everyone looks forward to their annual birthday posts, where they manage to bring out the best (and worst) of each other. But Reynolds decided to grace us with a little humor earlier this year, and seized a golden opportunity.

Lively recently attended the premiere of Beyoncé's concert film, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, and took a photo with her bestie, Taylor Swift. The photo showed the famous friends looking glammed up and posing on a couch. A great girl's night out.

Well, the boys left at home got a good laugh, as a fan edited Ryan Reynolds and Travis Kelce's faces onto the pair. Reynolds, never one to turn down a funny photo, shared the edit on his Instagram story with the caption, "I feel like I should remember this."

Honestly, this edit is so well done that it had me confused for a moment! Reynolds also made sure to tag the creator so they could enjoy their five minutes of fame (and applause).

I hope this means Reynolds and Kelce are getting on well, and that we can expect more double dates in the future—perhaps with a real photo of the two!

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds often use social media as a tool to poke fun at and troll one another, but in an Instagram Story yesterday, Lively admitted that she is well aware of how attractive her husband is. (She’s not wrong.)

The photo Lively shared shows Reynolds working out in a white tank, black sweatpants, neon yellow sneakers, and a baseball cap in what appears to be a home gym. But it’s Lively that steals the show in the photo, as she can be seen in the mirror behind her husband, looking giddy snapping a photo of him in action. “Find yourself a better Instagram boyfriend than me, I’ll wait,” Lively wrote over a zoomed in shot of herself taking Reynolds’ photo in the mirror. “Bc I know low key capturing thirst content of your fine ass husband is not just photography, it’s a public service.”

Reynolds reposted the photo on his own feed and gave photo credit where photo credit was due, tagging his wife and reaffirming her role as “my Instagram boyfriend.”

Reynolds is working out in preparation for Deadpool 3, where he stars opposite Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, People reports. (The movie is due out next year.) He credits trainer Don Saladino as someone who always helps him “get back to functionality. Mentally and physically.”

“My body’s been pretty f— from years of stunts and being more competitive than my bones and ligaments had ambition for,” Reynolds wrote on Instagram. “I push things too far sometimes. I mean, I push things too far ALL the time. Moderation’s never really been my friend.” Reynolds added “I knew getting back to where I needed wasn’t gonna be easy. And adding three months of strike limbo in the middle certainly didn’t help. Anyway…Thanks Don. Here’s to the home stretch.” He signed off with the hashtag #MaximumEffort.

Lively and Reynolds met in 2010 while filming Green Lantern and remained friends after the project wrapped. “We were friends and buddies, and about a year and a half later, we actually went out on a double date,” Reynolds said during an appearance on the “SmartLess” podcast in July 2021. “We hung out and we always kind of kept in touch sort of casually and, next thing you know, she was going to Boston. I was going to Boston. And I said, ‘I’ll ride with you.’ … I was just begging her to sleep with me.”

The couple wasted no time falling in love after leaving the friend zone behind, marrying in September 2012. Eleven years and four kids later, “They’re very romantic together,” a source told Us Weekly as the couple celebrated 11 years of marriage this past September. “They’re always holding hands—you’d think they were newlyweds.” 

A separate source added “Blake and Ryan have this unbreakable bond as a couple,” they said. “They are still head over heels for each other.”

Blake Lively, everyone’s fave fashion goddess, AKA Serena Van Der Woodsen, AKA Mrs. Reynolds, AKA the queen of the Red Carpet, showed us how to master monochrome this week. Stepping out in New York City with her husband Ryan Reynolds, Lively wore an all-blue outfit that consisted of approximately 50 shades of blue (well, by our count, it was more like four but allow this pun, please?). Her “bloutfit” was a master lesson in one-shade dressing; Lively wore deep navy, bright cobalt, heathered cornflower, and washed denim together for a great hi-low street style ‘fit.  

Let’s start from the bottom up. Lively donned a pair of light-wash denim trousers with a slightly baggy, boyfriend fit—the silhouette of the season. This cut is loose and easy to wear for fall activities. She matched them with a heathered cornflower blue hoodie with a white drawstring cord at the neckline. To keep her warm on strolls with the hubby, she added an oversized wool topcoat (who is not wearing oversized right now?) in a traditional navy blue. Speaking of Reynolds, he clearly got the monochrome memo, too: The Deadpool actor twinned alongside Lively in an all-gray outfit consisting of a slate beanie, smoke-colored shacket, dark front-pleat trousers, and light sneakers.

While she did wear brown chunky loafers and tortoise aviator sunglasses, she kept true to blue in her handbag. Topping the look off, she rocked the trend of chunky chains by adding a crossbody quilted Chanel bag in Navy Blue with braided gold hardware.
