On the other, there are pairs who match from head to toe (like Zendaya and Tom Holland). Of the couples in the middle, I'm most interested in Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson—new parents who've used recent outings to wear coordinating trendy sneakers in their own ways.

The duo touched down in New York City on April 20 after Pattinson had (presumably) wrapped filming The Odyssey with Zendaya in Italy. They took an afternoon stroll with two interpretations of 2025's reigning slim sneakers trend as their foundation. Suki Waterhouse's were the black and white Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66s, a striped pair found in closets from Kaia Gerber and Kendall Jenner to Emma Watson and Bella Hadid. Pattinson, meanwhile, chose a pair of navy blue and white sneakers with a similarly low-to-the-ground sole—and no sign of a discernible logo from the photos.

The duo's outfits were similarly nonchalant from there—without full-on matching. Waterhouse layered an Isabel Marant shacket over a Madewell ribbed tank top and Levi's jeans, topped with a Dior handbag and Ray-Ban sunglasses. Pattinson went navy-on-navy in a polo top and cargo pants, topped by a green puffer jacket and trucker hat.

Back in Los Angeles, the new parents often take the same styling tactic. They'll both wear Adidas Sambas or an adjacent, sport-inspired shoe, then match each other's energy in relaxed, oversize layers. It's cohesive, but not trying too hard—the playbook for celebrity couples' style that anyone can channel.

Given that Robert Pattinson's past interviews have included things such as blowing up his microwave, making fun of his films while promoting them, and admitting that he regularly told lies in interviews just for fun, you never quite know what to expect when he is on a press tour. That in mind, perhaps it is not entirely surprising that in a recent conversation with his Mickey 17 director Bong Joon-ho, Pattinson revealed that his partner, Suki Waterhouse, once found him asleep on their sofa with knives next to his face. "He'd done this horror movie, and I watched it, and I kept thinking that someone was breaking into my house. And so I was sitting on my sofa with two kitchen knives, waiting for the person to come in."

But, Pattinson fell asleep while waiting... well, you know, because there wasn't actually an intruder. Pattinson admitted that it was "probably a squirrel."

"I fell asleep with them basically, like, in my neck on the couch," he continued. "My girlfriend came in and she was like, 'What is happening? Why do you have two knives in your face and you're sleeping?" It does sound like it'd be startling!

Pattinson and Waterhouse met in 2018 and welcomed a daughter together in 2024. While they aren't super public about their relationship, they offer little glimpses here and there.

On Jan. 30, the "Good Looking" singer stormed the stage at New York City’s Lincoln Center wearing a tomato-red, cape-like dress covered in long tendrils of fringe. The texture, too, was a clever choice for the model-turned-rockstar—a notoriously energetic entertainer who recently twirled, hair flipped, and deep-lunged her way through a North American tour.

The mother of one paired her '70s-inspired personality coat with vintage Chanel flared jeans from the French fashion house's Spring/Summer 2009 collection. Going to a concert venue is just another day at the office when you're a rock star like Suki Waterhouse. Sure, her uniform is a little different than your average office commuter's. New parents Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson made their first public appearance since becoming parents, and to the surprise of no one the new mom dressed for the occasion.

On Saturday, Oct. 5, while attending the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Pacific Palisades, California, the Daisy Jones & the Six star shined in a black, plunging maxi dress featuring on-trend floral patterns.

The dress, straight from the Antonio Marras Spring 2024 collection, also featured puffed, half-length sleeves, a synched, belted waist and pockets (a must-have for any new mom). Waterhouse was reportedly styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn.

While this wasn't the first time Waterhouse has appeared in public since giving birth to her baby girl back in March, the Saturday night out did mark the first time the new parents have appeared together in public.

Suki Waterhouse lived out her royal fantasy on July 24, donning a recreation of a classic Princess Diana outfit. The star posted a video on TikTok showing off a cream-colored version of an iconic pink gown that Diana wore in Kyoto circa 1986.

The original gown was created by a top British designer for the rich and famous, Zandra Rhodes, who dressed the Princess of Wales five times over the course of her life. Suki Waterhouse has finally revealed the sex of her and Robert Pattinson's newborn baby.

On Friday, April 12, while performing on the 2024 Coachella stage, the singer subtly told the audience that she is a proud mom of a baby... girl!

"I don't know if some of you know, but I had some big life changes happen recently, some pretty big events have been going down," the actress told the audience in video captured by a concert-goer and shared online. "I love amazing ladies and I've been very lucky to have my own little amazing lady and meet the love of my life."

The subtle announcement comes one week after Waterhouse officially confirmed the arrival of her new bundle of joy on Instagram, sharing a photo of the new mom holding the newborn in her arms. (The baby is facing away from the camera.)

What we love about her choice of kicks is that they're the epitome of good "chunky trainers"—and lucky for us, the exact same style is still fully stocked for less than $300.

When it comes to maternity fashion inspiration, the Daisy Jones & The Six star has already been one to take note of—and it's not even a full month post-Instagram announcement. Waterhouse hasn't yet put her bump on display like Rihanna and Ciara. Instead, she's been keeping things to a minimum by prioritizing comfort, but that doesn't mean she's compromising her style in the process.

But back to Waterhouse's chunky sneaker. It seems that more stars are rekindling their love for supersized, hefty-meets-comfy sneakers. Waterhouse joined the likes of Anne Hathway and J.Lo., who were also recently photographed in their very own pair of cream-colored and crisp white designer sneakers. On top of Balenciaga suddenly bringing back the old-school silhouette in an even heftier size during its pre-fall show, you might want to dust off the house's Triple-S style and Nike's Air Forces because the chunky dad sneaker resurgence is seriously upon us.

Well, here's a row of people you never expected to see seated together!

The Poor Things premiere was held in New York last night and attracted many big names. A video released from the viewing room revealed one very famous row of individuals in particular. Laura Dern, Taylor Swift, Suki Waterhouse, and Robert Pattison are all seated together in the back row.

Dern and Swift appear to be deep in conversation. Dern has previously worked with Swift on the music video for Bejewelled, where she played the evil stepmother to Swift's Cinderella. I can only assume they're chatting about Swift just being appointed TIME's Person of the Year.

Waterhouse and Pattison are seated closely together. The couple have been together for five years and are expecting their first child.

Waterhouse, Pattison, and Swift are also spotted leaving together. Swift is wearing a sleek, all-black look, which contrasts Waterhouse's white outfit and oversized jacket from COS.

But the big names don't end there, as seated in front of this star-studded row is the one and only, Anna Wintour. Wintour is one of the biggest names in fashion, having been the editor-in-chief of Vogue since 1988.

Poor Things follows Bella Baxter (played by Emma Stone), a young woman brought back to life by the unorthodox scientist, Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe). She escapes to experience life and explore the world. It's scheduled to release on the 8th of December and has been well-received by critics so far.

Well, if all these celebrities thought Poor Things was worth watching, I better give it a go!

Marie Claire was happy to report earlier this month that actor Robert Pattinson and actress, singer-songwriter, and model Suki Waterhouse are set to become first-time parents, confirmed after Waterhouse announced the news onstage in Mexico City.

Wearing an eye-catching dress, Waterhouse said “I decided to wear something particularly sparkly today because I thought it might distract you from something else that’s going on.” Then, gesturing to her baby bump, she joked, “I’m not sure if it’s working.”

The couple have been dating for five years and are “thrilled beyond words” to be expecting, People reports. Of Pattinson, a source speaking to the outlet said he is “smart and keeps his life low-key and out of the spotlight as much as possible. He and Suki are very serious and have been. A baby coming is an absolute joy for them.”

A second source added “They are ready for a child and looking forward to becoming parents. Even though they are both professionals who work a great deal, this is something they want. They know their lives will change, and they are excited.”

Earlier this year, in a sit-down with The Sunday Times, Waterhouse opened up about her long-term relationship with Pattinson: “I’m shocked that I’m so happy with someone for nearly five years,” she said, adding that they never go more than two months without seeing each other, despite careers that take both all over the globe. “I had two days off the other day, and it was like, no question, I’m going back to see him.”

The Daisy Jones & the Six actress is expecting her first child with the Batman star, as she announced in the most fabulous way during a set at the Corona Capital Music Festival in Mexico City on Sunday.

Waterhouse stunned on stage in a two-toned glittery dress finished with a faux fur jacket, and joked, "I decided to wear something particularly sparkly today because I thought it might distract you from something else that's going on."

She then gestured to her baby bump and added playfully, "I'm not sure if it's working."

Waterhouse and Pattinson have been dating for about five years, first sparking dating rumors in the summer of 2018, when they were spotted holding hands (according to People).

More recently, the singer-songwriter has opened up about how lovely their relationship is, speaking out about what it's been like living together for the first time, and how relaxed Pattinson has been about her self-professed messiness.

"I'm very lucky, because he is so accepting of the mess and the chaos," she said on a podcast. "He never says anything about it. He kind of thinks it's, like, charming, so I'm very lucky for that."

Speaking to The Sunday Times in February, the actress admitted, "I'm shocked that I'm so happy with someone for nearly five years." She added, "I think he feels the same about me. We've always got so much to say, and I find him hilarious."

I'll wish these lovebirds a whole lot of happiness as they expand their family, and leave you with my favorite joke to come out of their happy news: "So he's Robert Pattindad now," wrote one person on Twitter. A dad joke squared, if you will.

Suki Waterhouse just revealed some adorable details about why she finds living with boyfriend Robert Pattinson so lovely.

The actress and singer appeared on the latest episode of the Apple podcast Driven Minds, and was asked to introduce herself. Off the bat, Waterhouse eschewed any mentions of her career or where she's from, and led with this:

"My name's Suki Waterhouse," she said. "I am an incredibly messy human, which you might not be able to see behind me, but it's gotten so bad that I had a professional cleaner come in yesterday—like a professional organizer, like someone that's just professionally out of their mind, and comes over and just labels—puts all of your jeans color-coded and lines them up."

She went on to explain why her home is so messy right now, even more so than it would naturally be for her.

"I've been having such a crushing weight of anxiety, 'cause I've moved. I wasn't there for the move, so everything just got boxed up and sent," she said.

"It's been like six months of not really unpacking, and I feel like I can't even make more music, or another album, until I have some sort of sense of, like, order going on."

All of this upheaval happened for a sweet reason: because she moved in with Pattinson recently.

"I've moved in with my boyfriend now and I always used to live alone," she said. "I just went past my house last night, my old apartment which I spent like eight years in and suddenly was getting like the heartburn for that street ... I was like, 'I can't believe I'm not there anymore, and now I have to consider someone else.'"

Adorably, though, Waterhouse explained that her boyfriend doesn't mind her messiness at all.

"I'm very lucky, because he is so accepting of the mess and the chaos," she said. "He never says anything about it. He kind of thinks it's, like, charming, so I'm very lucky for that."

You wouldn’t know it from the cheery voice on the other end of the receiver, but “it’s raining quite a lot in London,” Suki Waterhouse tells me. The English starlet—whose noteworthy resume includes model, actress, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and activist—has been cooped up in her London flat during the city’s brief warm-weather season and has just learned that due to COVID-19 restrictions, she won’t be returning to a conventional work schedule in the 2020 calendar year. Despite the news, her sense of purpose never seems to waver.

Just a few days earlier, Waterhouse left her home (which doubled as the set of her Marie Claire shoot) and took to the streets to peacefully protest in support of Black Lives Matter. “It’s important to put your body out there and protest. It’s such an amazing time to be alive, and I feel really lucky to be a part of it,” she says. Showing up to demand change is nothing new to Waterhouse. About a year ago, she got involved with Save the Children in Los Angeles, a city she considers her home away from home. Her experience with the 101-year-old advocacy group, which focuses on improving the health, education, and safety of kids in underserved communities, was a wake-up call to the challenges that America’s children face. With Save the Children’s core programming centered in California’s rural communities (its presence spans 26 schools and four counties in the state), Waterhouse found that kids were experiencing profound hardships a mere 30 minutes from her backyard.

“I’ve been kind of living in L.A. and wanted to get involved with something local,” says Waterhouse. “What struck me is how isolated and incredibly impoverished these agricultural areas in California are,” she explains. So far, Waterhouse’s work with Save the Children has included participating in its Early Steps to School Success program, focusing on young children up to age 5. The actress joins mothers and children at schools and inside their homes to play, build blocks, and read. Many of the kids she meets have never owned a single book. “Early childhood learning is a privilege—one that many of us take for granted,” Waterhouse explains. Save the Children has identified that without the program’s resources and coaching, parents would have few options to create successful at-home learning environments for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Immersing herself in the Save the Children program over the past year has been humbling for Waterhouse in more ways than one. She recalls a booing audience full of pint-size critics on a previous school visit: “I read the kids a story, and they were not very impressed with me,” she says, laughing. “I obviously wasn’t doing it right!”

Thanks to its deep impact across the globe, Save the Children has many other fans committed to furthering its mission. Italian-based luxury brand Bulgari, which has also recognized a need for more support in surrounding Los Angeles counties, has a well-established relationship with the organization. Through their 11-year partnership, Bulgari has raised nearly $100 million globally from the proceeds of its custom-made Save the Children jewelry collection.

Building on their past successes, Bulgari North America and Save the Children will soon bring their Arte di Bulgari after-school program to underserved agricultural communities, like the one Waterhouse visited, a few hours’ drive from Los Angeles. Set to launch remotely this fall, Arte di Bulgari (which was established in September 2019 in the greater Houston area) integrates dance, painting, and photography, helping children develop self-confidence, creative skills, and imaginative thinking and highlighting the ways children can express themselves. The introduction of this art program will offer a bright spot for rural Californian families, many of whom have been deeply affected by the current events facing our nation. Still, the challenges ahead are not lost on anyone, especially Waterhouse, who for now resides more than 5,000 miles away. “We’ve got to get the kids ready for the cultural reset that they’re going to be going through,” she says. For the time being, Waterhouse vows to brush up on her reading voice and hopes to inspire individuals and more corporations like Bulgari to use their own voices to enrich Save the Children’s programs, in California and elsewhere. It’s everyone’s duty to give back. “It’s never been as important as now,” says Waterhouse.

In the new film Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Jane Austen's romance-minded Bennet sisters are skilled in martial arts and swordplay. In other words, they kick ass. Actresses Lily James, Suki Waterhouse, and Bella Heathcote—the stars of our January "Next Big Thing" issue—more than fit the bill. Here, a sneak peek of their Marie Claire covers.

Lily James on her initial reaction to the movie: "When I saw the e-mail from my agent, I was like, This sounds terrible! Then within 20 pages of the script, I thought, This is so cool! Somehow these two worlds join together, and it's a riot."

Suki Waterhouse on dyeing her hair for the film: "You watch America's Next Top Model, and you're like, 'Why are these girls crying about their hair?' But then it happens to you! It sounds so pathetic, but I definitely cried."

On being a brown belt in karate and going through martial arts training for PPZ: "I grew up doing karate, and my dad taught at our local center. I stopped doing it when I started getting boobs, because I'd get punched in the boob, and it would be so painful."

On her most recent concert: "Oh God! I actually took my little sisters to see One Direction."

So...if she sings too, what's Kendall's instrument? Harmonica? Tambourine? Kazoo? No, wait, got it—the euphonium.

In an Instagram posted Wednesday, Cara Delevingne licks Kendall Jenner's shoulder while Kendall Jenner, wearing blue Beats, licks Cara Delevingne's forehead. Is it their idea of an album cover? Do they usually record topless? This is still all an elaborate shenanigan, right?

In an interview with Grazia, Georgia May Jagger says she, Suki Waterhouse, and Cara "Pick a Side" Delevingne huddled around a fire one evening, where Dolly Parton's pink, sparkly essence prompted them to pen a lilting ballad.

"We wrote a country song one night," she says. "My boyfriend [Josh McLellan] produces music, so he helped make us a beat and we wrote the lyrics. It's about girls on the road without men, listening to the radio, that kind of thing. We've done a couple of songs."

1) At this rate, we'll have an album when I'm old enough to become president. And 2) Wasn't Cara trying to launch a solo career (with Pharrell's help) too? Eggs, meet 234,098 different baskets.
