Don't get me wrong, I'm still Team Baby Tee when the mood is fun and flirty. At first, I assumed she'd sing "Love Story" as a surprise to Kelce during their supposed Madison Square Garden reception. Since The Tortured Poets Department is his favorite album, perhaps she'll select "So High School" or "The Alchemy."

Yes, Tight End University is run by Travis Kelce, but Taylor Swift has steered clear of Kansas City Chiefs colors for two years straight. Both performances added new LBDs to her style playbook. Last June, she twirled around to "Shake It Off" in a denim skater style from EB Denim. You may recognize its corset and pleated skirt from the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards after-party. Last but not least, the grand finale: never-before-seen accessories like the Cigale Bag joined the Spring 2026 lineup.

The designer's take on the one-strap bag trend appeared in more shades and finishes than any other Anderson-era purse, including black, burgundy, peony pink, terracotta alligator, and even Himalayan croc. Each version brought its Fall 1952 namesake—Christian Dior's equally architectural "La Cigale" dress—back to life as a strong yet graceful It bag.

Anderson told Business of Fashion the Cigale is one of his "favorite dresses in history," setting high expectations for its accessory conversion. "I was never going to start Dior without referring to it, because for me, it is one of the greatest feats of engineering in terms of a dress." Then, fellow brand ambassador Barbaro gave the peony pink Cigale an off-the-catwalk close-up.

Within minutes, the One Night Only star's bag took center stage in Anderson's debut fashion show. Fashion people in the front row probably didn't put two and two together that quickly. But before long, constant Cigale sightings were guaranteed.

A few months later, the Dior Cigale was noticeably absent from January's Couture Spring 2026 show. But it didn't skip Couture Week altogether. The night after Rihanna RSVP'd "yes" to Anderson's latest showing, she flaunted the shrunken Small Cigale all around Paris.

Its envelope-style body and petal-like bow seemed to be about half the size of Grande's version. What used to be matte, smooth, and texture-free suddenly became super glossy atop croc-embossed leather. Even the top-handle strap changed from calfskin to chainlink. Perhaps this was a custom gift from Anderson to brand ambassador RiRi.

It seems Anderson enlisted the help of Rihanna to tease the Dior Cigale's next era. Jeans are always the main character in my closet, but I never wear them longer than I have to. Six hours is usually my max, before I need to change into an easy sweatpants alternative. So, imagine my surprise when Taylor Swift styled the barrel-leg denim trend all night long.

The pop star entered her favorite recording studio, Electric Lady Studios, around 8 p.m. on June 15. Turns out, she didn't sneak out the back after fueling new music rumors. Taylor Swift arrived at the Songwriters Hall of Fame red carpet ready for me to update Marie Claire's ranking of her best outfits of all time. Stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer selected a silhouette the pop star's fashion fans will recognize: a carpet-sweeping gown with a corseted bodice, reminiscent of Swift-favorite designs by Vivienne Westwood or Wiederhoeft. This time, the designer responsible was Sarah Burton at Givenchy, who provided a custom piece. How fitting: one of the few female designers leading a luxury house, designing for a woman who's also charting her own course in her industry.

The exact opposite of platform sandals is trending this season, too. Extra-slim shoes looked skinnier than ever on Miu Miu and Diotima's runways. Then, Hannah Einbinder gave the silhouette a proper Hollywood close-up at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. Straps beneath her toes and around her ankles couldn't have been thicker than one-millimeter wide. Yet, the Hacks star didn't wobble once during her Alaïa-clad photocall.

Wedding season is in full swing for Taylor Swift. Last night's minimalist outfit appealed to my more professional side—I could wear Swift's button-down and trousers combination to work, then a meeting to negotiate outrageous wedding venue fees. Her crisp white button-down from Stella McCartney—especially the creaseless collar and three-quarter-length sleeves—would show the catering company I mean business.

The Oxford's fit-and-flare peplum kept her otherwise polished button-down fun and flirty. She could re-wear it with a silver sequin skirt and heeled flip-flops and show out at her bridal shower.
