Jenner's custom white tank top from EMPATH—her favorite silhouette for Knicks games—suggests she might be a tiny bit superstitious. They weren't the bootcut pair or vintage white jeans she debuted beneath previous NBA baskets, though. Gothic, cobalt blue and neon orange crosses—Chrome Hearts' key house code—gave her cuffed, stovepipe-slim denim the New York Knicks treatment.

This time around, though, The Adventures of Cliff Booth will be directed by David Fincher, with a script from Tarantino, setting the stage for an action-packed collaboration between two of the most acclaimed directors working today.

Happy awards season, folks! Tonight, we celebrated the 83rd annual Golden Globes, a moment to honor film and TV excellence and feast on red carpet greatness.

Actors have spent months building buzz (Timothée Chalamet, for one, climbed to the top of the Las Vegas Sphere) and preparing for tonight, the second stop on the 2026 award circuit. Audiences have also done their fair share, whether it was by imitating Parker Posey's North Carolinian twang or experiencing the two-hour and forty-two-minute adrenaline rush of One Battle After Another.

But before presenters started handing trophies out—and we made our best-dressed list—we pregamed on the 2026 Golden Globes red carpet with diamonds, suits, and plenty of glamour. Wicked: For Good’s Ariana Grande (sadly without Cynthia Erivo this time) wore a corseted black Vivienne Westwood gown, and Teyana Taylor's custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture featured, erm, "butt cleavage." Jenna Ortega's gothic Dilara Findikoglu dress, with side peek-a-boo panels and beaded fringe, and Jennifer Lawrence's Givenchy naked dress were also among the evening's highlights.

Lastly, let's hear it for the boys: Heated Rivalry stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams made quite the commotion in sharp Saint Laurent and Giorgio Armani suits, respectively. Chalamet showed up in custom Chrome Hearts and an unexpected plus-one that wasn't Kylie Jenner: a teeny-tiny mustache. (Jenner bypassed the red carpet and later joined the Marty Supreme star during the ceremony.)

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet's immediate New Year's resolution is to keep spending as much time together as possible while they can, it seems.

The pair's careers forced them to spend much of 2025 far apart, including significant stretches spent on separate continents, like when Chalamet traveled to work on Dune: Part Three, which filmed from July to November 2025, shooting primarily in Budapest, Hungary, as well as in the Liwa Oasis in Abu Dhabi and some filming in Jordan.

Now, a source close to the couple told People, Jenner and Chalamet have been making up for "a lot of time spent apart" by taking advantage of the time they've had together during the holidays.

"It's been special for Kylie to have Timothée in Los Angeles more in December," the insider said of the time they've managed to carve out for each other in recent weeks to celebrate not just the holidays, but Chalamet's 30th birthday on December 27, too.

While the pair reportedly did their best to see each other as often as possible when Chalamet was overseas filming, the time apart was still tough and they spent December making up for lost time.

"She traveled to Budapest several times in the fall when he was busy working. They spent a lot of time apart, but the past few weeks have made up for it," a photographer source told People. "Still, it's not the easiest relationship. They are both incredibly focused on their careers and ambitious. She's running a massive business and raising her kids. He's super focused on being the best at what he does."

Don't think the description of the relationship as "not the easiest" implies that they aren't still going strong though. The source stressed that, as tough as being apart is, Chalamet's work ethic is one of the things Jenner "loves" about him—and one of the things that makes the relationship work, since the Kylie Cosmetics founder would "never date anyone who just sits around."

After spending the holidays and Chalamet's birthday together in December, the couple is continuing to take advantage of the overlapping break their busy schedules with their New Year's plans. The source revealed that, in addition to plans to ring in 2026 together on New Year's Eve, Jenner and Chalamet also have a "trip planned" as part of their New Year's celebration.

"They are making their careers work and making their relationship work at the same time," the source added, summing up the impressive balance Jenner and Chalamet have managed to strike.

When it came to bringing the lead character in his new film, Marty Supreme, to life, Timothée Chalamet really went above and beyond.

During a recent panel discussion, in front of what Variety described as a "packed audience," the movie's director, Josh Safdie, shared a behind-the-scenes story that illustrated just how far above and beyond the 30-year-old actor went while working on the film.

“At the time, we said, we were going to put +10 contact lenses in your eyes, and we’re gonna put -10 prescription lenses in front of them so that when his glasses fall off, he can’t see sh*t," Safdie said of the way Chalamet sought to bring authenticity to his performance as the films protagonist, Marty Mauser, who wears glasses.

Safdie admitted that wearing the combination of contacts and glasses was tough on Chalamet, who he said doing so made him feel like “he was in a fishbowl.”

“He calls me, and he says, ‘I’ve got the +10s in right now, I’m pretty dizzy.’”

Chalamet didn't let the discomfort dissuade him though and remained determined to go the extra mile for the part, telling Safdie, “I’ll do anything you ask me to do.”

In addition to literally altering his own vision, Chalamet's dedication to bringing authenticity to his Marty Supreme performance was also reportedly behind the actor's insistence on refusing to use a stunt double for the film's much-talked-about spanking scene.

In the scene, Chalamet's character, Marty Mauser, agrees to be publicly spanked by ruthless businessman Milton Rockwell (played by Kevin O'Leary) to secure the funding he needs to travel to Tokyo to compete in a high-stakes table tennis match.

"We had a stand-in ass and a fake paddle that supposedly would not put the full force," O'Leary told Business Insider of the scene. "All of a sudden, Chalamet came on set and said, 'No, if this ass is going to be immortalized, it's my ass.'"

O'Leary added that he tried to talk his costar out of filming the scene, but Chalamet wouldn't budge.

"I said, 'Look, man, your ass is gonna be blistered, let the stand-in ass do it,'" he recalled. "He said, 'No.' I said, 'I can't hold back, I'm gonna have to whack your ass.' He said, 'I don't give a sh*t.'"

Clearly, nothing was off-limits for Chalamet in bringing authenticity to his Marty Supreme performance.

Christmas may have passed, but Kylie Jenner has been keeping the spirit going by sharing pictures from her holiday festivities on her Instagram Story.

Amid pictures showcasing her whimsical Christmas Eve updo and perfectly over-the-top custom wrapping paper for her kids' Christmas presents, Jenner's series of Instagram Stories, which the Daily Mail reports were captioned "Christmas recap," was a close up selfie that showed off some gorgeous Cartier Panthère jewelry.

According to the Daily Mail, Jenner was wearing almost $60,000 worth of Cartier—specifically, $26,700 pair of Panthère de Cartier stud earrings and a $30,500 matching Panthère de Cartier pendant necklace.

Given their inclusion in Jenner's Christmas recap, it seems safe to assume that the Cartier earrings and necklace were holiday gifts—and it's no surprise that many fans quickly came to the conclusion they must be from the Kylie Cosmetics founder's boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet.

Jenner and Chalamet have been dating for more than two years now and signs point toward the relationship getting serious, including his inclusion in the nameplates lining the roof of Kris Jenner's personalized Kardashian-Jenner family gingerbread mansion.

This isn't the first year that Jenner and Chalamet's Christmas celebrations together have made headlines. Last year, the couple took a major step as Jenner integrated Chalamet into some of her holiday celebrations with her two children, Stormi and Aire.

At the time, a source close to the couple told Page Six that Jenner and Chalamet had a “magical” holiday season spending time with Stormi and Aire and that the foursome "had a really nice dinner together with Kylie’s family, and they drove around to look at Christmas lights."

Although the couple was plagued by breakup rumors this fall, in November a source refuted those claims, telling People that they were still going strong.

"They're great," the insider told the magazine, adding that although their work had put them on separate continents for parts of the year, the couple had made "an effort to see each other every few weeks. He has a few days off for the holidays so they're making plans."

At the same time, another source told People," Timothée talked about Kylie all the time while filming Marty Supreme," adding that Jenner “even flew out to visit him on set in N.Y.C."

"They also met up in London while he was shooting Dune," the source continued. "They’re really in love.”

Giving unsolicited advice of any kind can be a delicate undertaking, but that goes double—maybe triple—when it comes to giving unsolicited advice about someone's physical appearance.

Gwyneth Paltrow revealed she learned this lesson the hard way recently, when she offered her Marty Supreme costar Timothée Chalamet some skincare advice that was unwelcome in the worst way.

The awkward encounter happened on one of the pair's first few days of filming Marty Supreme, and, when Paltrow noticed acne scarring on her costar's face, she offered up well-intentioned advice for addressing the issue.

Unfortunately for Goop founder, what she didn't realize was that the acne scarring she was noticing came courtesy of the film's makeup department.

The Oscar-winner had a good sense of a humor about the awkward moment during her recent interview on The Awardist podcast, smiling and laughing about the faux pas as she told the story to host Gerrad Hall.

"Yeah, and, imagine I was up close to him, and I was like, 'my gosh,' because when I had seen him [before], his skin was always so beautiful," Paltrow said of her surprise at noticing that Chalamet's skin appeared to be far less perfect in person than it looked in movies and pictures. "And I was like, I didn't realize that he has this scarring on his face."

Of course, since Chalamet's skin really is incredible, both in movies and pictures and IRL, he, understandably, had a pretty strong reaction to Paltrow's unnecessary advice.

"And then he's like, 'Are you insane? Like, this is makeup,'" Paltrow said, laughing while she remembered her costar's reaction to her mistake. "He's like, "I have good skin.' I was like, 'I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry.'"

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner's relationship is pretty serious... if gingerbread is any indication. The Kardashian-Jenner family always go all out for Christmas when it comes to decorations, gifts, and their famous—and very expensive—Christmas Eve party. Well, one piece of decor from this year's holiday celebration stood out because of who it features: Marty Supreme himself!

As reported by People, Travis Barker's step-daughter, Atiana De La Hoya, posted Kris Jenner's epic gingerbread house on her Instagram story. The roof of the house includes the names of various Kardashian-Jenner family members, as well as the names of some of their partners and former partners. Tristan Thompson? Yep, he's included. And a current partner who made the cut is Chalamet. The name "Timothée" can be seen on the roof near Kylie's name and that of her children, Stormi and Aire, who she shares with ex Travis Scott.

But while Chalamet was part of Kardashian-Jenner Christmas in this small yet (literally) sweet way, it's unclear if he attended the Christmas Eve party. We do know that Kylie wore John Galliano, though.

The gingerbread house isn't the only recent show of support from Kris to Chalamet. Earlier this month, the 70-year-old posted an Instagram story of herself wearing a Marty Supreme jacket. She wrote alongside it, ""MARTY SUPREME Christmas Day!!!!!!"

As for Kylie, she supported the Josh Safdie film by attending the Dec. 8 Los Angeles premiere with her boyfriend. And she definitely helped get the word out, because their matching orange Chrome Hearts outfits really drew attention.

So, if you had any doubt about Kylie and Chalamet's status, maybe brightly colored couple's outfits and extravagant gingerbread can put your mind at ease.

Josh Safdie, the indie auteur who helmed A24 hits like Good Time and Uncut Gems alongside his brother Benny, is known for painting portraits of New York’s underbelly by casting both professionals and non-actors from the niche communities depicted on screen.

His solo directorial debut, Marty Supreme, is no different. Set in the early ‘50s in N.Y.C.’s Lower East Side, the frenetic sports movie stars Timothée Chalamet as an aspiring ping-pong legend who will do whatever it takes to achieve his version of the American Dream. Opposite the 29-year-old are fellow established actors like Gwyneth Paltrow and up-and-comer Odessa A’Zion. But the non-actors make just as much of a splash on screen. Consider filmmaker Abel Ferrara (as gangster Ezra Mishkin) and Shark Tank investor Kevin O’Leary (as business magnate Simon Rockwell), as well as the several table tennis fanatics, baseball card dealers, and real-life NYPD officers who get screentime.

Safdie crafted the instantly memorable ensemble with the help of casting director Jennifer Venditti. The founder of the casting agency JV8 INC, who got her start casting fashion editorials for publications like W Magazine, has worked with the Safdie brothers since 2014’s Heaven Knows What; since then, she’s worked on countless celebrated productions, from American Honey to Euphoria. Her street-casting instincts have made her the gold standard for finding faces the industry didn’t know it needed.

Venditti, 53, tells Marie Claire over Zoom in early December that she attributes her career to a lifelong obsession with people-watching and her nature. “I am an insatiably curious person who loves humanity,” she says. “This is just an opportunity to learn about people and learn about cultures or niche environments I wouldn't know about otherwise. It's a great opportunity to expand my compassion for people and people who are different than me.”

Being able to open up that window into unique communities and put them on screen is why Venditti does what she does. She explains, “It's this idea of expanding people's ideas of, These are how other humans live. These are who other people are. You might not be friends with someone like this, but we're going to show you the beauty and the poetry of these humans.”

This year, Venditti lent her skills not just to Marty Supreme but to Benny Safdie’s Smashing Machine and Yorgos Lanthimos’s Bugonia—which collectively received eight Golden Globe nominations. And in 2026, she could be recognized by the Academy for her work, with the Oscars’s introduction of an Achievement in Casting category. (“Finally! 98 years!” Venditti says of the moment.)

Here, Venditti opens up about her approach to Marty Supreme—which included setting up a ping-pong table in her office—the art of street casting, and why she’s the person producers call when there’s a seemingly “impossible” role to fill.

Marie Claire: Marty Supreme is a New York movie, a sports movie, and also a period piece. What research do you do when you approach a project like that so it feels authentic?

Jennifer Venditti: Josh, [his co-screenwriter] Ronnie [Berstein], and Josh's wife, Sara [Rossein], who's one of the producers, the research that they've been doing through the whole process of writing is so deep. So when I get involved, there's this process where they share all of that with me. I get to see all the reference pictures and videos. I get to hear all the backstories of all the characters. I get to hear if any of the inspiration has been taken from something real. And then we usually have specialists. With this, it was table tennis people. I spoke to them. We went to [table tennis] clubs. I approach it from a place of, it's not just the script. I want to feel the world. I want to understand the world.

MC: The film has such high energy. How do you assess that during casting? Was anyone playing ping-pong in your office?

JV: Yes. Josh gave me a table. We have a whole process that we take people through. We will pick an improvisational scene—like a situation that has an energy similar to the energy in the movie. I'll have professional actors who are really good at improv do the scene with the person, and it's like they're already infused with the spirit of what that energy is in this room. I always say, “If the walls could talk in that room!” because it will get so intense, and it's always heightened. Everyone sitting in the waiting room is hearing people yelling and screaming, and I'm sure it's intimidating for whoever hasn't done it yet who's sitting out in the hallway. Like, What the hell's going on in that room?

We researched and met actual players for certain roles, like Koto [Kawaguchi, as Marty’s competitor Endo] or the guys playing in the tournaments. But it wasn’t a precursor or disclaimer that we put out, like, You should be able to play table tennis, for the guys in the bowling alley. Some of those guys were actors, but Levon Hawke came in, and it turned out he was a great player. Then Isaac [Simon], who plays the guy that’s really tall with the intense face, was someone I scouted for another project. He was a baseball memorabilia dealer with his dad. He came and was an amazing player.

Whether it's an actor or a non-actor, we want to create a safe space and a space of play and experiment. We don't want people to think there's a way you're trying to get this right. My whole thing that I always say to people is, “There's nothing to get wrong, except if you betray yourself and you try to pretend to be someone else, because we have you here because there's something about you.”

MC: How would you describe the experience of having non-actors opposite professionals, including icons like Gwyneth Paltrow, who came out of retirement for Marty Supreme?

JV: When you have someone who knows where the scene is going, they can ground it. They understand the beats and where the scene has to go. And then when you have someone who has no idea, they create this magic and mystery because life is unpredictable. [For actors], one of the hardest things is where it has to go, but then you have to forget that because, in life, you don't know where you're going. So then this person who doesn't know where they're going creates that mystery for them.

In that scene in Central Park with the cops, those were not actors, and there's an unpredictability with them. That creates the energy of that scene, where [Gwyneth and Timothée are] nervous. They don't know what these guys are up to. It’s that magic.

MC: You’ve said that you and the Safdie Brothers appreciate “the cinema of actual life.” That realism is certainly why so many people love their movies, but what do you think it lends to a film?

JV: It’s hard to articulate, but when it happens to me, it just draws me in more. It's like this entry into some other world that you feel like you're getting access to something. It's special.

When I first started scouting 20-something years back in the day for fashion, I would have a Polaroid camera, I would be in some obscure place, some little town, and I would see a face, and it would be like, If I don't take this Polaroid, no one is going to get to see it! There was no Instagram, there was no YouTube, none of that. It was like, No one else is going to get to experience this thing that I’m experiencing right now. Now that we can watch Instagram all day or YouTube and get that experience, but I was like, If the photographer doesn't pick this person to be put in the magazine, or if they don't get chosen for the movie, no one will get to see the beauty of this rare person that's hiding in this little town somewhere. So it felt like a portal. It allows you to travel someplace.

What my job is, I'm a conduit, like, Look at what we get to see. Look what we get to experience. Look at all the different kinds of humans there are. And I think that's what [the Safdies] are doing.

MC: 2016’s American Honey was one of the first major features you cast, and that took you to strip clubs and Florida beaches to find people. In the years since, what are some of the other unexpected places your work has taken you?

JV: I've had too much life now. When I first started out with W Magazine, I would go to the favelas in Brazil. There were these coal mining towns in West Virginia. I used to scout in New Orleans. I was scouting something in Budapest, and the language is so hard. I had a piece of paper translated, and I would try to go up to people, and they would start running, thinking I was trying to steal something from them.

For Good Time, we cast at this place called The Fortune Society, which is this incredible place where, once you get out of prison, they help you transition. In Uncut Gems, the whole Diamond District and that world, I am going over to these big dealers’ homes and seeing how they are in their family lives. It was incredible. Then, for Marty Supreme, the big thing was the tennis clubs. I had scouts in the streets in New York because it’s a New York-centric story.

I’ve tried to do strip clubs again, and it’s not the same as it was before. Back in the day, I would go to places, and I'd be sitting there waiting for people. It takes longer to find people now. We do a lot of stuff online, which is sad.

MC: What is your favorite place to people-watch in New York?

JV: The subway is a great place. You can sit there, and it's constant people coming in and going. The thing about New York that’s so great [is] you can go to so many different places and be in a completely different community.

[In New York], everyone is so aware of themselves that it’s like I’m always looking. I used to not be able to let one person go by me. I would become obsessed and have to talk to the person. Now, I trust that the person will come to me. I don’t have to go talk to every single person, and I can let someone go, especially if I’m not in the middle of a project.

MC: When you’re street casting in overlooked communities, how do you gain someone’s trust so they don’t think you’re being exploitative?

JV: It’s all in the energy exchange. If you are clear on the intention of what you are doing, have you found the deeper meaning? Are you opening your heart and not judging? Be conscious of not trying to just take and not give. If not, then the “right” person will respond and benefit from the experience. Also, make sure you don’t stand out; try to blend in. Lastly, it sometimes takes time to build trust. Invest the time, if you have that luxury, don’t rush people.

MC: Your audition process includes an interview, so you can get to know the person better and see how they relate to the character. What is your secret sauce to get people to open up to you and be their authentic selves?

JV: The secret sauce is to be genuine. The thing is, I don't have an ulterior motive. Obviously, it's my job, but I’m not like, By the time I get done with this person, I have to figure out all these things with them. I love people in this way that there's a deeper philosophical aspect to it. I'm so curious, “How are you doing this human thing? We're all here being human in our own ways—what's the experience for you in this way?” I am fascinated by what it means to be human, and that comes from a deeply, deeply genuine place.

MC: Have you ever had an experience where a producer or someone thought it would be impossible to cast the right authentic person, and you proved them wrong?

JV: I am literally the person who people call and go, “Okay, we have something impossible. Let's call Jen Vendetti.” That was recently with Aidan [Delbis, who played Don], in Bugonia. Before that, another film that came out this year, Preparation for the Next Life, [the actress] had to speak Uyghur and Chinese. That is a very small population that we had access to. That was very hard. Sebiye [Behtiyar, who was cast in the leading role, Aishe] is very special. That was a needle in a haystack.

There is something cool about being challenged. It also feels like destiny when you find the person. With Aidan and Bugonia, it was like, A neurodivergent person who’s going to be able to handle the intensity of this script, be okay with the things that happen, and not be messed up from it, and also be able to go to this other country and be in a lot of different things that might not speak to someone on the spectrum. It turned out that he loves dark matter. He’s really interested in films like that. He wasn’t upset at all. He thought it was funny. He was super great at improvising and being himself. That's kind of the mystical part of it, like, “Oh, I’m just facilitating your destiny in some way.”

MC: You’ve spoken about how you’ve always been obsessed with people-watching. How has your relationship with it changed since becoming a professional observer?

JV: I have to have a little bit of a boundary. Because I'm doing it so much that it's being satiated in another way, in my real life, I actually like to spend a lot of time alone. I like to be in nature. I need time away from it. I tend to not want to small-talk with people and meet everyone. My book is called Can I Ask You a Question?, but I'm learning as I get older that sometimes I don't have to ask the questions anymore. There's something about not having to know everything.

MC: Is there someone or a face you've never forgotten? What gives them their lasting impression?

JV: There’s not just one. In the beginning pages of my book, there are faces blown up, and there’s a little boy I saw on the subway. I took a picture of his reflection out of the window. He has these big, saucer eyes, and he's looking up. They didn't speak English; that was back in the day, when I wanted to, but I couldn't get his info. I got nothing. But I have that picture, and it's so cinematic. I was haunted by him forever.

MC: What is a kind of project that you haven’t cast yet, but would be a dream? Or a dream location to scout in?

JV: I have a dream I can say that’s not necessarily involving scouting or casting, but I do want to make a film. I always say it's a film about humanity through the lens of casting.

For a while, I have been very interested in hospice. The idea that I’m watching life [through my work]—I was present for my dad's death.There’s something super meaningful tied with what I do now that it feels like an evolution in some way. I'm not sure how that's going to merge with what I'm doing in the world, but I'm interested in that as well.

MC: When you started, you aspired to expand the idea of beauty. What progress do you think the industry has made? Do you feel like it’s maybe caught up to you?

JV: Oh, my God, finally! It's almost embarrassing to talk about it now. I'll always have to disclaimer, like, “This was at a time when I started in the fashion industry.” It was so different. I hate to say it, but I'm like, “I was right, bitches!” [Laughs] I'm kidding, but it's just crazy how slow everything has taken. You just have to sit there and be like, This is where humans are flawed.

I think the thing that's so cool about Marty Supreme, which a lot of people say after, is, “Oh, my God. It’s so amazing to see people who look like people, or people who have lived, or to see examples of faces that aren't what we always see on screen.” I am not trying to say I don't like to see perfection, and whatever that is, too. I'm just like, If we're only seeing that, let's see the range, and then everyone can choose what their preference is. Let's open up the viewfinder.

As several of this year's Oscars frontrunners make their way to cinemas, all eyes are on Timothée Chalamet's bright orange red carpet outfits. Why might this neon-tinged orange be the color that the star (who's seemingly gunning for a Best Actor nomination) is taking to all of his red carpet appearances this year? Well, like most themed dressing, the answer lies in the film that's being promoted itself.

Why has Timothée Chalamet been wearing orange to support 'Marty Supreme?'

Directed by Josh Safdie, Marty Supreme is a sports drama set in the early '50s and loosely inspired by table tennis star Marty Reisman, starring Chalamet as Marty Mauser, a N.Y.C.-born ping-pong champion. Marty is charismatic, confident, and determined to become the best at his calling, no matter what financial woes or doubting skeptics get in his way. (Just think back to Chalamet's SAG acceptance speech earlier this year to understand why critics are calling this film his best performance yet.)

In a pivotal scene from the film, as seen in the teaser, Marty pitches a custom orange ping-pong ball that would help the audience keep track of the game better and also give him some brand recognition. His co-worker adds to his pitch, saying, "It's an original ball for an original guy. It's the Marty Supreme one, not the Marty normal ball."

The orange ball continues to be a symbol throughout the drama—and it's certainly become a signature element of Marty Supreme's marketing. Chalamet, who also serves as a producer on the film, has led the charge with promotional materials like the Marty Supreme blimp and a Marty Supreme Wheaties box. The star pitched both of these—as well as orange becoming the film's answer to Barbie pink in a "leaked" marketing meeting shared on A24's YouTube channel. The indie production house even now sells a "Marty Supreme: Dream Big" ornament in its store.

In an interview with the BBC, Chalamet said he hopes the press tour will inspire audiences to get a ticket to the cinema. "I feel like my responsibility as a young actor, especially, is less to go, 'Hey, how do we get people to revisit this traditional form?' and rather to go, 'Hey, how do we take this traditional form and bring it to people?'"

According to the outlet, the actor also claimed that Marty Supreme could help the wider film industry. "This is an original film at a time where a lot of original films aren't made," he said. "And there's no part of me that's a salesman that's saying this, but I've never been more confident in saying, 'Hey, if you bring yourself to see this movie, you won't be let down'. It's really like a slingshot."

Since the "concept store" made a splash at New York Fashion Week in September, Paltrow's Gwyn-centric style streak has stayed strong. At The Hollywood Reporter's Women In Entertainment Gala on Dec. 3, she posed for photographers in the ivory tweed Freya Dress. Jenner and Chalamet didn't walk the red carpet together, but paparazzi captured them outside Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center. Monday evening marked their first joint appearance since August. The two matched each other's energy in complementary leather bomber jackets.

Jenner opted for a fitted leather jacket, possibly hailing from Khy, her fashion label. She paired it with a crop top, low-rise trousers, and accessories all following the all-black memo.

According to Instagram account @kyliejennercloset, designer Paul Aaron was tasked with recreating a crochet crystal top from Chloe's Spring 2000 RTW collection, which was originally worn on the runway with Kylie's vintage white skirt. Responding to a comment asking if Kylie's top was a "copy" of the vintage Chloe item, designer Paul Aaron responded, "[I]t was the brief, the blueprint. Speaking to the Daily Mail, body language expert Judi James seemingly confirmed Honigman's analysis of Chalamet and Jenner. "Kylie looks like a focused and insistent lover who knows what she wants and expects and how it should look when it comes to PDAs, while Timothée looks easy-going and compliant in terms of not instigating but often being the first to break away," James told the outlet.

The body language expert also noted that Chalamet and Jenner's appearance at Coachella included "several sensual poses that suggest intimacy and affection." The 28-year-old star has built an impressively cross-genre resumé as an actor, effortlessly bouncing between period dramas like Little Women, science fiction epics like Dune, and even family-friendly fantasy films about iconic characters like Wonka.

In his latest film, the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown, Chalamet tackles playing a real-life icon of the music industry. The film focuses on Dylan's life in the 1960s as he gained notoriety in music circles and rose to fame—and yes, the movie includes some of Dylan's iconic songs from the era.

In a featurette for the film that Entertainment Weekly shared in November, A Complete Unknown producer Fred Berger definitively confirmed that, not only does Chalamet sing for his performance as Dylan in the movie, but he also played instruments and performed live while filming the scenes with songs for the movie.

"There are 40 songs in the movie that he performs," Berger said, according to Entertainment Weekly. "On guitar, on harmonica, and singing live take after take after take."

In a clip from the featurette that was shared on YouTube, Chalamet also opened up about the musical side of his performance as Dylan.

"It was important for me to sing and play live," Chalamet added. "Because if I can actually do it, why should there be an element of artifice here? And I’m proud that we took that leap."

It's the most wonderful time of the year for pretty much everyone, and that includes Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet, apparently.

A source close to the couple told Page Six that they've been having a downright “magical” time this holiday season, and not just as a couple—Jenner's two children, six-year-old daughter Stormi and two-year-old son Aire, have also been part of the magic.

Chalamet, Jenner, Stormi and Aire, all "had a really nice dinner together with Kylie’s family, and they drove around to look at Christmas lights," according to the source.

The family bonding times was a success, it seems, with the insider adding that "the kids had a really magical time, and Kylie and Timothée made some very special memories together."

As you might have deduced from the early timing of Jenner and Chalamet's holiday magic, the source says they “aren’t going to be together on Christmas Day this year, they made sure to celebrate beforehand and even exchanged some gifts.”

“Kylie and Timothée are both going to be with their families for Christmas, but they’re going to stay connected despite being apart," the source explained, adding that, even though they won't be physically together on Christmas day, Jenner and Chalamet still plan on "FaceTiming, texting and calling” throughout the times when they're apart during the holidays.

Chalamet reportedly made sure to include Stormi and Aire in every aspect of the celebration, including the gift-giving—and that reportedly stood out to Jenner.

“Timothée not only got Kylie gifts, but also got some for the kids, which Kylie thought was so sweet and thoughtful,” the source said.

This tracks with everything else we've heard about the couple, who have been notoriously "protective" of their relationship. In July, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the pair are “in constant and fluid communication” and “see a long-lasting relationship together"—and the high value they place on family seems to be a big part of their connection.

“Kylie’s family thinks that Timothée is balanced, dedicated, successful, and a family man,” the source said. “They love how he treats her and everyone she cares about. He loves her so much and is respectful to her entire circle. Things are blossoming between them more and more every day.”

And the Entertainment Tonight source's description of the couple seems very family-friendly, indeed, so it's no surprise Stormi and Aire were an integral part of their holiday celebration.

“They cook at home, go to dinners, travel when they can, play board games, and are just their authentic selves together," the source said of how Jenner and Chalamet spend their alone time together. "They are both honest with each other, and there isn’t any void of communication.”

Timothée Chalamet just did the funniest thing he could possibly have done: He crashed his own lookalike contest.

The Dune actor showed up to the event in New York City on Sunday, where he infiltrated a crowd that included a ton of people dressed as him in his various movie and fashion eras.

Of course, there was one dead giveaway that Chalamet was in fact Chalamet and not just a really good impersonator: He had a bunch of bodyguards with him to ensure his safety.

A mustachioed Chalamet, dressed in black with a backwards baseball cap, stopped by to take selfies with fans and generally delight everyone in attendance.

"When the real Timothée Chalamet made a surprise appearance, the energy intensified," said contestant Reed Putman, writing for CNN. "He was gone in a flash, however, disappearing through the crowd and heading back to a car on the outskirts of the park. I think he knew things would have escalated if he’d stayed too long."

Although the event was eventually shut down by police for being "unpermitted," as reported by AP News, at least attendees had a fun time before that.

21-year-old Miles Mitchell was eventually crowned as the winner, with the contestant telling the Associated Press, "I’m excited and I’m also overwhelmed. There were so many good lookalikes. It was really a toss-up."

When asked what it takes to successfully embody Chalamet, 27-year-old attendee Lauren Klas told AP, "It’s all in the nose. All of his bone structure, really."

As part of the competition, contestants were apparently also asked how well they could speak French (Chalamet is bilingual), and about "their romantic intentions with Kylie Jenner."

Chalamet and Jenner have been dating since roughly the spring of 2023, and seem very much in love.

Both being in long-term relationships, of course these two didn't kiss as themselves, they kissed in character while filming their upcoming movie Marty Supreme—but still! (Paltrow married Brad Falchuk in 2018, while Chalamet has been dating Kylie Jenner since last year.)

On Oct. 16, Paltrow and Chalamet were pictured passionately making out and otherwise embracing in a Central Park tunnel, as part of the movie production.

In the images, the Iron Man actress was wearing a sumptuous red satin ball gown with black satin opera gloves and sparkly drop earrings, with her bright blonde hair styled in an elaborate bun. The Dune star wore a 1950s-style gray suit and tie. He wore his hair slick and with a neat parting, accessorizing with thin-rimmed eyeglasses and a retro moustache.

Little is known about Marty Supreme so far, though judging by these photos alone, it promises to be an extremely intriguing release.

According to Deadline, the film is "based loosely" on the life of '50s table tennis champion Marty Reisman. It is directed by Josh Safdie, who was notably behind the 2019 Adam Sandler film Uncut Gems, and also stars Odessa A'zion, Fran Drescher, Sandra Bernhard, and Tyler the Creator.

This marks Paltrow's first major feature-film appearance since Avengers: Endgame in 2019. These days, the actress focuses mostly on Goop, her wellness platform and lifestyle retail brand.

Meanwhile, Chalamet is one of Hollywood's most prolific actors of the last few years. Most recently, he starred in Dune: Part Two, Wonka, and Bones and All. He is most famous for the Dune series, as well as Call Me By Your Name and Little Women.
