Victoria Beckham is one of the first with her new Colour Wash Longwear Bronze Water Tint—extending the brand’s existing Colour Wash lineup. The blush version of the formula, which launched last year, is a liquid cheek color that many of us at Marie Claire already keep in heavy rotation. While the blush is known for its watercolor-like wash of color, this new addition aims to add warmth: think bronzer, but sheerer, fresher, and far less makeup-y.

And, I know, I know, you're probably thinking Why is a tint so revolutionary when there are so many other bronzing iterations?! After testing it ahead of launch, the concept became clear to me pretty quickly. This isn’t your typical creamy bronzer or powder that sits visibly on top of the skin. Instead, it behaves, like the name suggests, as a tint—something that melts in and leaves behind a soft wash of color that looks almost like the sun hit all the natural points on my face, rather than traditional contour or bronzing. Let's get into it.

Formula

The first thing I noticed when I dispensed the formula was just how thin the texture is. Calling it a “water tint” isn’t marketing—it really does feel like water when it hits the skin. The first time I tried it, I tapped a couple of dots along my cheekbones and immediately felt a brief moment of panic that it would stain and set. But within seconds it sheers itself out. It spreads easily and then slowly settles into what looks less like bronzer and more like a soft stain.

What I like most is that it gives you a little time to move it around before it sets. I’ve been tapping it along the tops of my cheekbones, across my temples, and lightly over the bridge of my nose—basically wherever the sun would naturally hit first. Once it dries down, it doesn’t look shimmery or super radiant. Instead, the finish is that believable warmth you get after a day outside: healthy and slightly sun-kissed (provided you're applying your SPF correctly).

Ingredients

The formula is built on a hydrating water base that the brand calls its Activated Watercolor Technology, which includes seawater sourced from France, vitamin C–rich superfruit extracts, and coconut fruit water. The idea is that the tint adds color while staying comfortable on the skin due to its hydrating properties. Because the texture is so thin, the ingredients also help the product sink into skin quickly, which is part of why the final effect reads more like a natural flush of bronze-y warmth rather than visible makeup.

Shades

Currently, the tint is available in just two shades: Tanline (a sheer medium bronze) and Heatwave (a sheer dark bronze). Both are designed to be buildable bronzes rather than opaque colors, which allows them to work across multiple skin tones to some degree. On my light-to-medium skin tone, it shows up beautifully, like a natural wash of color. Still, two shades feel limiting, especially in a category like bronzer where undertone and depth matter so much.

If you love the watercolor-like effect of the brand’s original Colour Wash blush, the bronzing version delivers the same magic: sheer color that melts into the skin and looks effortless. The formula is pretty foolproof to apply (just don't take more than a minute or two to blend with your fingers or a makeup brush) and easy to wear, particularly for anyone who prefers a subtle sun-kissed effect over traditional bronzer. It is also my go-to whenever I don't want to wear a lot of makeup but still look put together. I simply throw on the VB blush with this bronzer, and voila! My skin looks healthy and radiant.

Four days before her Fall 2026 runway show, the creative director was spotted on the streets of Paris wearing one of her favorite color combinations. Mouton shearling trim lined the bag's short handle, the top-flap, and every outer edge, just like the insoles of a cozy winter boot. Extremely rare, dark brown leather called Ebene Barenia bookended the closure's palladium hardware, as well as the elongated crossbody strap. Every element looked good as new on Beckham, despite the bag being a 21-year-old piece in her Hermès stock. (She first wore it in early 2006.)

The Kelly's discontinued suede and slipper-like shearling make it one of the priciest purses in Beckham's closet. Today, it sells secondhand for upwards of $50,980.

Beckham's Kelly Mouton hasn't been publicly photographed in over a decade, but her red-and-khaki set mirrored a more recent look. Posh Spice wore an almost-identical turtleneck and trousers from her own label to her London flagship store in November. The mere mention of the body-con style brings you back to the club, Cascada’s “Everytime We Touch” booming from the speakers and a raspberry Lancôme Juicy Tube in your going-out bag ready for a touch-up at a moment's notice. It's unmistakeable to anyone who poured over fashion glossies as a tween and admired It girls ranging from Cindy Crawford to Iman to Rihanna in second-skin dresses.

Michelle Ochs, the creative director of Hervé Léger since 2023, thinks of herself at 17 at her high school homecoming dance, wearing the bandage dress she bought at a mall in suburban Maryland. “If you told little-girl me I'd be where I am today, she wouldn’t believe you,” she says, on a video call, one week before presenting Hervé Léger’s Fall 2026 collection at New York Fashion Week.

The designer—also the founder of womenswear label Et Ochs—still counts herself as a fan, first and foremost. “I meet so many people who have such great, strong memories of the brand," she says. "Hearing everyone's stories with their bandage dresses might be what I love most about my job.”

Lately, she’s enjoyed hearing from Gen Z women who are falling head over mini-length hem for the iconic bodycon dress. Because, in case you didn’t know: They're back, and in every way a successful 2026 fashion trend needs to be. They’re a vintage grail, endorsed by Hailey Bieber. They're a frequent red carpet feature, like when Kaia Gerber wore a white bandage dress that recreated supermodel-mom Crawford’s Hervé Léger gown from the 1993 Academy Awards. They're a TikTok trend, too.

“People keep sending me videos of girls going into their mothers' closets and wearing her bandage dresses from 20 years ago,” says Ochs. The designer is particularly pleased with the last one: “There’s a reason women hold onto them for decades; you only keep the clothes you love.”

The mainstream bandage dress revival happens to be great timing for the legacy fashion brand. Hervé Léger just turned 40 and is celebrating with the Icons Reborn collection, launching February 19, which reissues a selection of its greatest hits. Priced between $295 and $425, the 10-piece capsule includes slightly tweaked versions of popular styles, including the plunging Backstage little black dress (a favorite of the ‘90s Supers) and the color-blocked Opening Night Dress, which was big with aughts pop stars.

“It's a milestone for the brand, not only in years, but also in earmarking its place in fashion history and pop culture,” says Ochs. “We wanted to reimagine these styles so a whole new generation can create more moments with the brand.”

While the Icons Reborn collection is a referential tribute to the club-rat fashion staple, the designer wants to make her mission at the brand very clear: “Hervé Léger is so much more than just the bandage dresses you remember. We're your go-to for anything special in your life—but we want to be your go-to for all aspects of your life.”

“When I joined, I was very mindful of the brand history and DNA. But, for lack of a better term, it had gotten a little stale," she continues. "I felt it was stuck in its mean-girl era. People heard Hervé Léger and thought only of skin and high heels. I wanted to push it beyond cocktail and evening.”

Ochs—who’s known in the industry as the “cutout queen” for her sensual, peek-a-boo dresses at her namesake label—saw an opportunity to soften and de-sexify the brand’s image and inventory.

“My approach was to bring a female perspective—which Léger hadn’t ever had [as creative director]—modernize the brand, and make it approachable," she says. Part of that meant producing more “multi-end use pieces,” like high-neck body-con midis, little black bandage dresses, and maxi gowns trimmed with fringe, that work well under a blazer as an office outfit or with kitten heels for date night that’ll have you home by 10 p.m. Ochs also doubled down on the brand’s separates.

Carrying 40 years of brand legacy, while also attempting to rebrand a silhouette that’s so cemented into the shared fashion consciousness, isn’t easy. There's also that bandage-wrapped elephant in the room: It doesn't feel like a coincidence that bandage dresses are trending in an age of easily accessible GLP-1s and the fashion industry leaving size-inclusivity by the wayside.

The designer doesn’t deny the context or connotations of a dress designed to wrap a body tight like an ACE bandage. However, while Ochs is at the helm, she hopes to reframe Léger’s signature stretch-knit material to be supportive rather than shrinking.

“Women's bodies fluctuate; every cycle, every year," she says. "A bandage dress will move with you and meet you where your body’s at.”

Hervé Léger is also making an active effort to center a more diverse range of body types in its campaigns and the celebrities it dresses; during NYFW, Ashley Graham wore the brand's ruby-red Maxine Gown to a launch party for her new wine brand, Lucci Lambrusco. It's also worth noting that the form-fitting silhouette is in itself a celebration of curves—but, admittedly, only up to a point. (Léger’s sizing range caps at XL, which fits a size 16).

Overall, Ochs’ plan to make Hervé Léger more accessible and appealing to consumers who have previously felt alienated or excluded is to emphasize the feel of its pieces above all else. She wants to focus on the emotion that comes up, the support you feel, when you put on a garment designed to fit you like a hug. “Women feel confident in our bandage dresses—and it radiates out of them,” she says.

The younger crowd certainly concurs: At the end of last month, Gen Z’s new favorite girlie and the 2026 Grammys’ “Best New Artist”, Olivia Dean, wore a candy-striped Hervé Léger bandage maxi dress, to a Universal Music Group artist showcase. Styled by Simone Beyene to be wrapped in pink, purple, green, yellow, and white bands, with a massive smile on her face and a microphone in hand, her joy was palpable.

“There’s a reason the bandage dress stays relevant and keeps coming back," Ochs says. "It might be in a different time, with different hair, makeup, and styling, but the dress itself doesn't change, and you can’t argue with that. A good dress is a good dress.”

One scan of their street styles would reveal Kate Moss and Victoria Beckham are cut from the same British, rich-mom-coded cloth. According to one royal expert, Andrew's daughter, Princess Eugenie, isn't coping well with the changing dynamics within her family.

As reported by the Mail on Sunday, Princess Eugenie is allegedly "refusing to speak to Andrew and did not visit him at Christmas." Per the outlet, "Eugenie, who established The Anti-Slavery Collective to help counter sex trafficking, is said to be taking a dim view of her father's refusal to apologize to Epstein's victims."

Speaking to the publication, one source claimed, "There is no contact at all, nothing. It's Brooklyn Beckham level—she has completely cut him off." Brooklyn, of course, appears to be in a feud with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, which was allegedly caused by disagreements regarding his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.

Per the Mail on Sunday, Eugenie's sister, Princess Beatrice, is allegedly handling the situation differently. "Beatrice is trying to walk the fine line of not cutting her father off and yet remaining close with the Royal Family," the source claimed. "They aren't exactly in regular and close contact at the moment, but Eugenie isn't trying to walk that line. She's not speaking to him."

Meanwhile, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told the Daily Express, "The York brand has been toxic for years, but the family have, until now, had the reputation of being close-knit." He continued, "The report that Princess Eugenie is now estranged from her father is a seismic change."

Fitzwilliams also suggested that Andrew and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson should seriously consider leaving the country. "It would probably be best for Beatrice and Eugenie if both of their parents did, so they could exist in a more positive environment and be seen to be totally separate from them," he told the outlet.

For now, at least, it appears as though Princess Eugenie is taking some time out from her father.

The apparent feud between Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz (who both use the combined last name "Peltz Beckham") and most of the rest of the Beckham family is still going strong, if the general consensus about recent Instagram posts from people on both sides of the drama is correct.

The two sides appear to be engaged in a kind of social media Cold War, fought with shade and subtext buried in otherwise-cheerful posts. The opening shot of the current round of the ongoing battle was fired by the Peltz Beckham side of the family, according to a report from Page Six.

In a Christmas post shared Friday, the young couple shared what many quickly interpreted as a message aimed at David and Victoria Beckham when they published a joint Instagram post containing a carousel of pictures from their Christmas celebrations that made it clear the couple spent the important day with the Peltz family.

“We wish everyone a merry christmas and a happy new year filled with so much love, peace and happiness,” the post's caption read.

As Page Six noted, the reaction in the comments was swift and overwhelming, with commenters quickly accusing the Peltz Beckhams of perpetuating the family feud.

“Everyone EXCEPT your in-laws!” blogger Perez Hilton commented, while others earnestly urged the 26-year-old chef to bury the hatchet in comments like one that read, “Brooklyn go home and see your parents. Life really is too short.”

David and Victoria Beckham secured second place with 10 percent of the vote, and Jennifer Aniston followed with 9 percent. Diana was the only member of the Royal Family to feature on the list.

Zingo Bingo's spokesperson, Jack Watson, told Marie Claire, "For decades, celebrities and public figures have set the tone for fashion trends, creating iconic moments that are still referenced today. It's no surprise that Princess Diana stood out most to respondents, given her timeless sense of style."

When I heard Victoria Beckham was spotted in New York, I suspected my article would highlight her latest color combination. She's pulled off everything from cherry red and turquoise to gray and plum with ease. Much to my surprise, Beckham opted out of any color at all on October 14.

Paparazzi photographed Beckham outside Midtown's Estiatorio Milos after lunch in all-black attire. That's right, not even a jewel-toned handbag made the cut. She paired a long-sleeve with a matching pencil skirt, which stopped just above her ankle. Close-ups of the shirt revealed the back was subtly sheer: Mesh lining stretched from her sleeves down to her lower back.

The skirt's side panels were also transparent, though not nearly risqué as her shirt's back. Saint Laurent Babylones—the same peep-toe mules in Hailey Bieber's closet—replaced her signature platform pumps.

It wouldn't be a proper Beckham look without oversize sunglasses. This time, she chose aviator-style shades with black-out lenses.

Beckham's bag—a Hermès Kelly 20, to be specific—didn't have to be colorful to fill the rare requirements. Named the Kelly en Desordre, the limited-edition model debuted in the label's Fall 2022 collection. It instantly made waves for its deconstructed exterior, which flipped the classic Kelly on its head.

Typically, front straps (called Sangles) fasten the purse in a straight-across line. The Kelly en Desorde's Sangles tilt diagonally, as if the bag was stolen half-way through production. This week, the Beckham family stepped out in full force to support family matriarch Victoria Beckham at the world premiere of her new Netflix docuseries, Victoria Beckham—well, almost full force.

The oldest Beckham kid, Brooklyn, was noticeably absent from the event amid rumors of an ongoing rift in the family.

Instead of letting Brooklyn's absence bring the mood down, however, the former Spice Girl and fashion designer used the moment as an opportunity to put in the world to mend any rift that might be present by showing her oldest son some love and letting him know that he was still there in her heart.

Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, have been noticeably absent from Beckham family functions in recent months, People reports, despite receiving invitations to attend from Brooklyn's side of the family.

"There are tensions between Brooklyn and Nicola and the family," a source told the outlet, adding, "The relationship is definitely not beyond repair. They love and are always there for him. They’re just hurt and disappointed that he’s now playing no part in family life."

While Brooklyn, 26, skipped the event, his three younger siblings—Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14, were all in attendance to support their mom in-person.

During a speech she delivered to the audience who gathered for the docuseries' world premiere at the The Curzon Mayfair in London on Oct. 8, Beckham made sure to mention Brooklyn right alongside his siblings.

It's not Taylor Swift-style beads spelling "Posh Spice 4ever," though. Rather, it's a fashion girl's friendship bracelet: a silver arm cuff DeSorbo wore to a Victoria Beckham Beauty event last year.

Turns out, Beckham had been searching for a similar style. DeSorbo "obviously" took hers off and gave it to Beckham. Weeks later, the pop star-turned-designer wrote her a thank-you note, gifted with a box of Victoria Beckham Beauty.

The founder of Daphne could've gone the Posh Spice route with a little black dress, platform pumps, and a choker. But when she walked into "the little town" that is Beckham's showroom, DeSorbo "wanted to do something that's not the norm" instead.

Her ultimate gray-on-gray suit was certainly unexpected. "I may not wear this outfit in real life, but it's very fashion week," she says.

After the fitting, a stylist-less DeSorbo—plus her longtime assistant—waved goodbye to their host with an oversize shopping bag in tow. Inside the tote was a modern-day Beckham look, starring stirrup pants. She realizes the horse girl staple could be old news in mere months, but she unapologetically loves trends.

"I never get down on myself [or ask] why I wore that, because I know I loved it [at the time]," DeSorbo says. "My daughter could look back at this article in 25 years and say, 'Where are those stirrups?'"

DeSorbo's first piece was a knitted dickey, which acted in lieu of the traditional button-down. Its ultra-cropped turtleneck peeked out from underneath an oversize blazer, also in light gray. Flared sleeves revealed the dickey's fingerless gloves. She paired it with pleated "work pants," except each hem encircled the underside of her peep-toe mules.

Beckham also loaned DeSorbo her accessories, including the $1,150 dark brown Victoria Clutch. Its geometric paneling emphasized the structured shape of her blazer. Diamond stud earrings were her only sparklers. "I'll keep it simple with [jewelry] I own, because I really want all of Victoria's pieces to shine."

DeSorbo's pre-show ritual was as relaxed as it gets. "I don't feel like fashion week is ever a work thing, because it's such an honor to get invited," a hotel robe-clad DeSorbo gushes, living her "Paige In Paris" dreams. "It truly is dress-up for grown ups. I feel like a little girl being here," especially with her mom as her plus-one.

Makeup artist Taylor Fitzgerald and hair stylist Mitchell Ramazon have been on DeSorbo's team for years, so she opted out of a beauty mood board. Clearly, she trusts them—they took her mom to dinner the night prior, while DeSorbo Zoomed into business meetings. The morning of the show, Ramazon sectioned her hair in a deep side part—think Beckham circa-2003—and curled the front strands toward her face.

Fitzgerald followed Ramazon's lead, giving DeSorbo a nude lip, bronze eyeshadow, and an itty-bitty wing with Victoria Beckham beauty products. The rosy-mauve No. 2 "changed my life," she says.

While DeSorbo says she dressed herself for the Victoria Beckham show, her frequent stylist, Maren Taylor, believes the celebrity and brand are a perfect fit.

"You'll never see a VB look that doesn't have a cool waistline, collar, or something that makes [me] say, 'That's so Victoria Beckham,'" Taylor tells me over email. "In the same way, I am constantly saying, 'That's so Paige.'"

I'm convinced that Victoria Beckham can pull off just about any beauty trend without even trying, and two-tone ombré hair is definitely one of them.

On Oct. 1, the beauty founder was seen out and about during Paris Fashion Week wearing a chic, oversized gray pantsuit from her own fashion label featuring wide shoulders and extra-long trousers. She threw on a white T-shirt underneath and a pair of large, black sunglasses, but the thing that made her look effortlessly cool was her two-toned hair color. Toward the roots, you can see that Beckham's hair, which was styled in soft waves, is a dark, brunette color that fades into a honey blonde at the ends, giving her hair an "I'm growing out my roots" type of look.

Beckham has bleached her hair before, but she went back to her natural brunette color for a while before revealing the blonde balayage at the ends of her hair last fall. Per Instagram, her dye job is the work of her longtime hairstylist, Ken Paves.

Blonde is often viewed as a summer color, but if you have dark hair, working the blonde into your ends to softly blend it with your natural color is a nice way to give your hair a fall upgrade without fully bleaching it. If it wasn't for Marie Claire's color trend guides, I'd fall victim to another neutral-heavy autumn. Fashion features editor Emma Childs is acting as my virtual stylist, introducing me to combinations beyond my style scope. On September 11, Victoria Beckham got Childs's memo with the season's most unexpected duo: cherry red and teal.

I expected the designer to be knee-deep in her Paris studio ahead of her Spring/Summer 2026 show on Oct. 3. Instead, Beckham was snapped by the paparazzi in Manhattan on the first day of New York Fashion Week. Always on board for quirky shades, Posh Spice embodied her persona in bright crimson heels and a cool-toned turquoise handbag. (They're opposite each other on the color wheel.)

Not even Jennifer Lopez owns Beckham's ultra-rare Hermès Birkin 30. It appears to be the Malachite colorway with gold hardware, which retails for upwards of $26,500. The green-ish blue Birkin stood out against her gray ankle-length midi skirt. She tucked an anti-Beckham white T-shirt into its asymmetrical waistline.

Apart from a top-tier timepiece, Beckham kept her accessories to a minimum. I suspect her gold statement watch hailed from Breitling's February 2024 collaboration with Beckham. The 18-karat yellow gold is clearly a collector's item, ringing in at $29,500.

Fall is clearly Beckham's time to shine. Last October, she pulled off multiple divisive duos in days, starting with a brat green dress and crimson Alaïa pumps. 24 hours later, she was spotted again—this time in a gray Victoria Beckham suit with burgundy pumps. In November, Beckham made a case for khaki, crimson, and wine red with pieces from her self-titled label.

Beckham's trip to New York came at the perfect time: Calvin Klein, Altuzarra, and Ulla Johnson will present their Spring 2026 shows soon. As far as I know, she hasn't attended any soirées yet. Arriving in Manhattan during NYFW practically serves as her RSVP to a runway show or two.

Shop Styles Inspired by Victoria Beckham

When you search the "rich mom aesthetic" on Pinterest, the results are literally just pictures of Victoria Beckham. Well, not really, but in my mind, she's the blueprint. The mom of three embodies luxury parenting: She steers clear of logos, swaps patterns for classic colors, and carries an Hermès bag any chance she gets.

On June 10, Beckham proved my point. While she lives in London, the Spice Girls alum was spotted in Paris on Tuesday morning in textbook wealthy attire. She began her OOTD with a summer staple: a short-sleeve polo dripping in summer 2025's blood-orange color trend. Then, she tucked her polo into high-waisted jeans in a dark indigo wash.

In true Beckham form, her denim stretched far beyond her footwear, as most of her bottoms do. Underneath the wide-leg hems peeked platform pumps. She brought a tan blazer along to, presumably, take her 'fit from day to night. To finish, Beckham popped on her signature paparazzi-blocking aviator sunglasses, which she hardly goes anywhere without.

Beckham's timeless tote upped the overall rich-mom energy tenfold. On her shoulder, the designer carried a vintage Hermès Kelly Bag 28 in an alluring burgundy shade. Complete with gold hardware and tonal stitching, Beckham wore the top-handle tote with the detachable crossbody strap. Similar styles are available on vintage sites for upwards of $14,500.

Beckham's Hermès collection is right up there with Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez's in terms of size and value. She owns Kellys, Pochettes, and Birkins in numerous color-ways, fabrics, and sizes. What's more, Beckham rarely travels to Paris without at least one Hermès purse in tow.

For another recent Paris trip in Sept. 2024, the star matched her little black dress (a Victoria Beckham design, of course) to her Hermès Birkin. The crocodile 35 model with gold hardware is one of Beckham's most expensive accessories, ringing in at $80,000.

While she's certainly no Hermès newbie, her burgundy Kelly appears to be brand-new. It's only a matter of time before Beckham styles it again.

The year is 2002. Nelly’s “Hot in Here” is on the radio, “TikTok” is only known as the sound a clock makes, and Burberry’s check bikini is the hottest item to have at the pool. The two-piece swimsuit in the British brand’s signature tartan symbolizes luxury, sex, and status. All the rich It girls wear beige, black, white, and red bikinis—like a nearly-naked Kate Moss for Mario Testino’s Burberry campaigns and Beyoncé in Jay-Z’s “‘03 Bonnie & Clyde” music video, while Jay flows, "The only time you wear Burberry to swim."

But as is often the case with ubiquitous fashion trends, what once felt fresh and covetable can begin to feel overdone—or even a little passé. When flashy Y2K fashion fell out towards the end of the decade, Burberry’s aspirational trademarked check bikini was swept up in the shift. Plus, in the wake of the 2008 recession, luxury price tags were out of reach for many, especially when it came to an itty-bitty, teeny-weeny, tan, plaid striped bikini that could cost a sizable portion of a month’s paycheck.

Fast-forward to now, and the ever-cyclical nature of fashion trends has brought the Burberry bikini full circle—now a viral summer 2025 trend.

Pop stars, perennial It girls, and supermodels are once again sporting the tartan two-piece both on and off the beach: Alexa Chung paired the checked two-piece with rainboots for the brand's muddy, Glastonbury-themed festival campaign, the hot girl to end all hot girls, Megan Thee Stallion, brought hers on a tropical vaction, and long-time friend of the fashion house Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wore one for her late April cover shoot for The Sunday Times Style magazine. TikTok users have dubbed it a holy grail thrift shop find and an “order this as soon as I get paid” favorite, which is largely why the suit is selling out across retailers like Saks, Bloomingdale's, and Bergdorf Goodman.

As the popular fashion analytics site Data, But Make it Fashion notes, it’s time to “prepare [yourself] for a Burberry bikini summer.”

So, how did Burberry’s checked swimsuit stage a comeback over twenty years after its peak? This revival is largely due to the British label’s own efforts. In early April, Burberry released its High Summer 2025 campaign that put its check bikini on industry-favorite models Huntington-Whiteley and Alva Claire. The swimsuit spread resulted in a 14 percent spike in engagement and searches for the bikini, playing a crucial role in bringing the iconic piece back into the public spotlight, reports Data, But Make it Fashion.

Significantly, the fashion world has also pivoted back toward flashier displays of wealth, signaling the decline of the subdued, quiet luxury aesthetic that reigned for several seasons. Celebrities now prefer their luxury to be loud, logo-laden, and unmistakably in the five-to-six-figure range. Consumers, too, are stocking their closets with rich-looking finds, like elegant silk scarves and instantly recognizable designer handbags, teasing their high-net-worth status—even if it’s more aspirational than actual.

In 2025, fashion embraces a palpable "if you’ve got it, flaunt it" energy, even amidst Trump-era tariffs and looming recession indicators.

But Burberry has smartly noted the shift in shopping appetites, explains Sebastian Szafarczyk, the CEO of the Burberry-only London and Paris secondhand boutiques, Check It Vintage. After several years of removing its conspicuous check pattern from the runways—and catching strays from Succession for being an "enormous faux pas"—Burberry’s 2022-appointed creative director, Daniel Lee, is reinstating its trademarked tartan as the brand’s calling card.

Both the Burberry Spring 2025 and Fall 2025 collections prominently featured the iconic check, appearing on rugged barn jackets, trendy cargo bags, and, surprise, surprise, trench coats. It was only natural to bring back the check in the brand's Summer 2025 drop.

And it looks like Lee’s decision to bring back Burberry’s classic tartan is starting to pay off. According to Business of Fashion, sales were better than expected, a sign that the brand’s comeback might be gaining traction in a tough luxury market.

Add to that a wave of high-profile celebrity moments—Zendaya in a cinched Burberry tartan belt, Beyoncé wearing the check on stage during her Cowboy Carter tour—and the brand’s heritage print has officially regained its status-symbol appeal. "Which primes everything well for the Burberry bikini to definitely be the item of the summer," says Szafarczyk.

It also helps that Burberry’s check bikini left an indelible mark on early-aughts pop culture. "The swimsuit is part of some of the most iconic fashion moments of that era," says the anonymous curator behind the Instagram moodboard and meme account @2000sfashionista, "I’ll never forget Victoria Beckham’s Burberry bikini and matching bandana in 2000. Now that both the bikini and bandana are trending again in 2025, I have no doubt her look is poised for a comeback this summer."

Beckham’s coordinated moment from 25 years ago was maximalism in its purest form—a head-to-toe flex that left no room for subtlety. But as @2000sfashionista points out, that all-out, no-apologies bougieness is exactly what makes the Burberry check so enduring.

It's a little-known fact that February fashion month is actually a really romantic time. The season kicks off in New York City, with shows generally falling on Valentine's Day. Naturally, the reigning king and queen of the fashion industry put on their evening best, debuting matching formal looks for the occasion. Seemingly taking the black-tie dress code literally, both Beckhams wore posh noir outfits, with David in a two-piece suit, bow-tie, and fashion-guy scarf, and Victoria in a high-shine, skintight dress.

The floor-length number was fitted through the bodice, before flaring into an elegant train. It had long sleeves and a ruched waistline, featuring an O-shaped ring detail. Though V-Day is now long over, the former Spice Girl channeled a bit of that energy, with contrasting baby pink nails—a noteworthy departure from her usual neutral set.

Though the couple is most known for their casual-cool '90s red carpet style, eveningwear is their bread and butter these days. In fact, the Beckhams wore similar looks less than a month prior at King Charles III's Gloucestershire estate—an appropriate venue for fashion royalty. David sported an identical suit and Victoria was outfitted in another ruched gown, this time made of ivory silk.

Kate Middleton might have missed the glittering Buckingham Palace state banquet on Tuesday, Dec. 3, but one surprising couple on the guest list almost made up for her absence.

David and Victoria Beckham took part in the state banquet honoring the Amir of Qatar and his wife, Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani, on Tuesday night, joining King Charles, Queen Camilla and Prince William at the white-tie banquet. David served as an ambassador for the Qatar World Cup in 2022 and was invited because of his connections to the country.

The Beckhams' attendance at the event shouldn't come as too much of a shock, as the couple has participated in several royal events over the years. Both Victoria and David attended Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding, as well as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's nuptials.

The Inter Miami CF owner has also teamed up with Prince William for charity initiatives like a recent London Air Ambulance fundraising effort. Additionally, the former England captain took part in the 2022 Earthshot Prize ceremony in Boston with the prince and princess, as well as a 2020 video call for their Heads Up mental health campaign.

David is such a fan of the Royal Family that he famously waited in line for more than 12 hours with members of the public (while wearing a suit, on top of it) to view Queen Elizabeth's coffin ahead of her funeral.

As for the royals, Queen Camilla made a sparkling statement in a red velvet gown and a diamond kokoshnik tiara that belonged to her late mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth, while Duchess Sophie made a style statement in an off-the-shoulder black gown.

Although the Princess of Wales didn't attend the banquet, she did join The King and Prince William to officially welcome the Qatari royals to London earlier in the day. Fashion and beauty mogul Victoria Beckham brought the cutest date to the 2024 Harper’s Bazaar UK Women of the Year Awards: her teenage daughter, Harper.

On Tuesday, Nov. 5, the two generations of Beckhams played up their family resemblance in coordinating silk outfits. Victoria, who was on hand to accept an award in the Entrepreneur category, dressed the part in black pumps and a stunning suit cut from glossy off-white silk. The two-piece set featured a belted smoking jacket with wide lapels and a plunging neckline, along with a relaxed pair of trousers. Even before launching a fashion brand under her own name, Victoria Beckham was associated with a very specific aesthetic. Though she shed her Posh Spice alter ego years ago, her outfits have always stayed true to that vibe. Victoria Beckham has always dressed to her own style beat, but her outfit for the final leg of fashion week looked somewhat familiar. Just last week in Los Angeles, Jennifer Lopez coordinated a croc Birkin of her own with a Brunello Cucinelli sweater set in the same shade of beige. 25 years of marriage later, David Beckham is still as heart-eyed for wife Victoria Beckham as he was the first day he met her.

Asked at the Stella Artois' Let's Do Dinner event in New York City on Sept. 19 whether it was "love at first sight" for him, David told People, "Absolutely."

Though it goes without saying, he explained, "Well, of course. She was a Spice Girl and sexy and beautiful and charming."

The former soccer pro added, "Then I found out what a strong woman she is. So it's again the gift that kept on giving."

David and Victoria first met in 1997, and were married in 1999. They share children Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 13.

The famous spouses' romance has been the stuff of movies right from the beginning, when they would meet up in parking lots to keep their relationship under-the-radar.

It's obvious that they've kept a sense of fun and play, and aren't afraid to make fun of themselves, like the time they reenacted their viral "be honest" moment for the sake of a Super Bowl ad. Even better, Victoria poked fun at her claim that she grew up "working class" by wearing a T-shirt from her label that read, "My dad had a Rolls-Royce."

While they're not afraid to call each other out and to share the struggles they've experienced, they're also not afraid to express the sweet love they have for each other. Exhibit A on Victoria's last birthday, David penned a tear-jerking message to her on Instagram.

It’s not every day you get beauty advice from Victoria Beckham. So when I hopped on a call with Posh Spice herself, I wasn’t entirely sure what she’d share. Maybe she’d tell me never to pluck or tint my eyebrows (a classic) or to wear sunscreen (I do). But I certainly didn’t expect the founder of an eponymous makeup brand to tell me to use less makeup. “You don’t need to use foundation,” Beckham very definitively stated within the first five minutes of our phone call.

To be fair, it’s not that Beckham doesn’t believe in makeup at all. She’s just created her own coverage concoction in collaboration with Augustinus Bader. The duo has previously worked together, launching a Priming Moisturizer and Cell Rejuvenating Power Serum. But Wednesday, September 4, the two celebrity-loved brands teamed up for their debut makeup product: The Concealer Pen.

With 16 flexible shades in a wide range of undertones, the light to medium coverage formula contains more skincare-first ingredients than your typical concealer product. Most notably, Bader’s patented TFC8, which is proven to support skin renewal, is the star ingredient. But the concealer also contains peptides and squalane for hydration, polyglutamic acid and rice protein to improve fine lines, and rosa damascena flower water to soothe skin.

“The more you use this product, the less you need it,” Beckham exclusively tells me. “It’s not just going to cover up my dark circles, but treat them, eradicate them, and make me look better. The reality is, I wear so much less makeup now than I used to because my skin is better.”

The skin-improving formula isn’t just for the under-eyes. The brush was intentionally made thin and tapered so that the user could spot treat all over the face with a simple click-and-swipe motion.

“The brush is something I obsessed over, making sure that it was fine enough to get a precise application,” says Beckham. “I use it around my nose, jawline, and chin to really even out my skin tone.”

Earlier this year, Mel B got our hopes up that a Spice Girls reunion tour was finally happening. While appearing on British chat show Loose Women, Mel B revealed (via People), "We are definitely doing something." She continued, "I’m probably going to get told off [for revealing that], but I’ve said it. There you go. I’m in trouble now." When the famous fivesome reunited at Victoria Beckham's 50th birthday party in April, a reunion tour seemed like a foregone conclusion. However, according to a new report, the reunion is canceled, and yes, we are totally devastated.

In a new MailOnline report, a source suggested that it was beef between Geri Halliwell and Mel B that had ended any hope of a reunion. "Geri has had enough to deal with after all the drama with her husband's relationship with his assistant," the source explained, referring to allegations made against Halliwell's husband, Christian Horner. "[I]t has been a tough enough time—and she's just lost patience with Mel [B] and her little digs and jibes," the source continued.

Mel B was allegedly kicked out of the Spice Girls group chat after suggesting the group would be reuniting. And according to MailOnline's source, Geri allegedly wants some space from Mel B for the foreseeable future. "She's walked away and without Geri it's really not going to happen," the source revealed. "[I]n the past she's been a driving force in the group, but she doesn't want to deal with Mel at all at the moment let alone share a stage with her."

As for whether or not Geri and Mel B can mend their friendship, the source wasn't so sure. "They've always had a tricky relationship but this has got very messy now and nobody has been able to smooth things over between them—so it's all off again," they explained.

2026 will mark the 30th anniversary of the Spice Girls, which would be the perfect opportunity for the group to reunite for real. Back in 2015, Mel B reflected on the band's upcoming 20th anniversary in an interview with Marie Claire. "It's great that we're still best friends and that we still all get along and that we all support each other in what each of us are doing," she explained. "It's fun. I like it." Hopefully, the ultimate girl group can overcome their differences, because we are more than ready for an epic Spice Girls reunion tour.

Victoria and David Beckham's 1999 wedding has gone down in fashion history for their over-the-top, purple reception outfits. You probably know the ones: a plum one-shoulder dress by Antonio Berardi for Posh Spice and a matching double-breasted suit for Becks. A day before their 25th wedding anniversary, the couple brought the iconic outfits out of storage for the 'gram.

"Look what we found..." the Beckhams wrote in a shared Instagram post. In the portrait, Victoria and David Beckham pose in what appear to be their original outfits, in all their grape-toned glory. Just like on their wedding day 25 years ago, Victoria wore hers with wraparound metallic sandals, while David paired his with purple Oxford brogues. Flashes of red fabric still punctuated both looks, in the form of floral embellishments.

These weren't the only outfits Victoria and David Beckham wore on their wedding day. For an extremely intimate ceremony—with only 29 guests present—Victoria chose a custom Vera Wang gown. This first dress was much more traditional, in a champagne satin with a corseted bodice. Mr. Beckham had also gone the (slightly) more understated route to swap vows in a matching champagne suit.

Then came the reception, where around 230 guests packed into Luttrellstown Castle, near Dublin, Ireland, to take in the Beckhams' aforementioned purple outfits. Their firstborn son, Brooklyn Beckham, matched his parents in a tiny purple tux and cowboy hat as well. The rest, as they say, is canon.

David Beckham has shared previously unseen glimpses at their wedding looks before. For the couple's 22nd anniversary in 2021, the soccer star posted several portraits with his wife on their wedding day.

All these years later, the couple fondly looked back on their unconventional nuptial style as ""very '90s" in last year's Beckham documentary.

"I tried to think back to when I decided to wear a purple suit. I don't know when that happened," David Beckham says during an interview in the series. "I think I just took Victoria's lead on it. But what…what were we thinking?"

Victoria Beckham, a designer with successful luxury ready-to-wear and beauty brands to her name, defended their non-white wedding looks. "We weren't worried about what people would say," she explained in the series. "I mean, Christ, how lovely to be that way when you just really don't care."

Singer and fashionista Victoria Beckham can still remember how painful it was to have a newspaper purposefully shame her postpartum body.

In a recent interview with Grazia, the mom of four recalled an incident that occurred shortly after she first stepped into the public eye after giving birth to her now 25-year-old son, Brooklyn.

"I remember after I had Brooklyn, the first outing was on the front page of the newspaper, with arrows pointing to where I needed to lose weight," Beckham told the publication.

"I've had so much said about me and I'm sure that has robbed me of some experiences," she continued. "I never want to look like I'm complaining, but there were times in my past that I haven't felt confident enough to sit on a bench and watch my children play."

The Spice Girls member went on to say that "those things can affect how you feel and conduct yourself in public," adding that now "if paparazzi want to take a picture and say something—too bad, it doesn't bother me in the same way."

The incident is far from the only time Beckham has been shamed and scrutinized after having a child. In a 2022 interview with Vogue Australia, the proud mom recalled a time when she was weighed on national television just two months postpartum.

"I went on a TV show called Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush with (British TV host) Chris Evans many years ago, and I’d just had Brooklyn and lost a lot of weight after,” Beckham said at the time. “It happened to my mum after her pregnancies. It doesn’t mean you have an eating disorder.”

During the segment, Evans asks Beckham: “A lot of girls want to know, because you look fantastic again, how did you get back to your shape after your birth?”

Beckham shared that she didn't do any one thing after giving birth, but Evans said he wanted to "check" and, according to Beckham, "he made me stand on scales and be weighed."

"Can you imagine doing that nowadays?” she added.

In her recent Grazia interview, Beckham admitted that she hasn't magically stopped caring about what other people think about her or how she presents herself, but adds that "you just become more accepting, don’t you?"

"This is how I look. I’m going to make the best of it, work hard at it,’ she explained. "I’m very disciplined with the way that I eat, the way that I work out and the way I work. That’s just who I am. But I do like to have a drink and I’m not going to be one of these, 'Ah, there are too many calories in a glass of wine,' types. Whatever. Life’s too short. Likely seeking to avoid ongoing feud rumors about her and her mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham, Nicola Peltz Beckham made sure to clarify why she wasn’t in attendance at Victoria’s star-studded 50th birthday party over the weekend, held at the posh (see what we did there?) members club Oswald’s in London’s Mayfair district Saturday night.

Per Nicola’s Instagram, she was spending time with her grandmother, who she affectionately calls “Naunni.” Nicola—who is married to Victoria’s eldest child with husband David, Brooklyn—shared photos on her Instagram Story, per Entertainment Tonight, including one of her grandmother giving her a hug, followed by a group shot of Victoria, David, and their kids, where Nicola explained why she wasn’t in the photo.

“Happy birthday to my beautiful mil [mother-in-law] @victoriabeckham,” Nicola wrote. “I’m so so sad I’m not there to celebrate you and hug you. Sending all my love from me and my naunni. I miss you all so much.”

Nicola is extremely close to her grandmother—per People, her Naunni was even her maid of honor at her wedding to Brooklyn two years ago this month. Alongside the photo of them hugging, Nicola wrote, “My world in my arms.”

In the years since their marriage, both Nicola and Victoria have debunked rumors of a rift between them. Alongside a photo marking Victoria’s actual birthday on April 17, Nicola wrote “happy birthday to my beautiful mil @victoriabeckham i love you so much and I love being your dance partner forever,” alongside a photo of them embracing.

Though Nicola wasn’t able to make it, seemingly everyone else was—not the least of which were the Spice Girls, who performed their 1997 hit “Stop,” complete with dance moves (making us crave even more this surprise project Mel B keeps hinting at). In addition to Mel B (aka Melanie Brown, aka Scary Spice), Mel C (aka Melanie Chisholm, aka Sporty Spice), Geri Halliwell Horner (aka Ginger Spice), and Emma Bunton (aka Baby Spice), guests like Salma Hayek, Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria, and Charlotte Tilbury were on hand, as well as, of course, David and their four kids Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper.

The fashion designer—who broke her foot while working out in February and hobbled into her party on crutches, looking fantastic nonetheless in a sheer mint green gown—was carried out of her bash via a sweet piggyback ride courtesy of David. Of the evening, she wrote on Instagram “Best night ever! Happy Birthday to me! I love you all so much. #SpiceUpYourLife.”

The Spice Girls have once again proven that friendship really doesn't ever end, as they blessed the world with a reunion at Victoria Beckham's 50th birthday party over the weekend.

Melanie Brown (AKA Mel B AKA Scary Spice), Emma Bunton (AKA Baby), Geri Horner (AKA Geri Halliwell AKA Ginger) and Melanie Chisholm (AKA Mel C AKA Sporty) all showed up in London to celebrate their friend Posh, who turned 50 on April 17.

During the party, the five former popstars sang along—and danced in unison—to their hit 1997 song "Stop," all looking so happy about it.

Victoria posted the video—snapped by husband David—on Instagram with the caption, "Best night ever! Happy Birthday to me! I love you all so much! #SpiceUpYourLife"

David posted it too, writing, "I mean come on x"

An entire generation—millennials, duh—is constantly wishing and hoping for an elusive Spice Girls reunion. Between the five ladies having a blast while "performing" as a group at the party and Mel B swearing that there will "definitely" be a girl group reunion tour this year, maybe our dreams might come true after all?

Taking to Instagram on the momentous occasion, the former soccer pro shared the most tear-jerking video montage I've ever seen in my life. The tribute to Victoria begins with sons Brooklyn and (I think) Romeo as little ones, telling their mom, "Happy birthday Mummy, I love you so much, more than the world!"

It then goes on to play the viral soundbite "be honest!" over a photo and video montage spanning Victoria's childhood, Spice Girls days, wedding, pregnancies and more, all the way to today.

When it comes to people whose closet we’d love to raid, naturally Victoria Beckham tops the list. She was a fashion icon before she was a fashion designer—and now she’s both, and, yeah, we’d like a ticket inside that closet experience. Lucky for Victoria’s daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz Beckham, she’s got an all-access pass, and confirmed what we’ve always thought it would be: “It’s like heaven in there,” she told People. (Sigh.)

“Anytime I get in that closet I’m like, ‘Please!’” Nicola told the outlet.

Nicola shares Victoria’s taste, including an appreciation for a leather Dolce & Gabbana jacket that the former wore while out with husband Brooklyn during Paris Fashion Week in February. The piece from 2001 was originally worn by Victoria in the early aughts on the sidelines of a soccer game with a tiny Brooklyn in tow, People reports; that said, Nicola actually got her jacket as a gift from her mother, Claudia Peltz.

“When I first started dating Brooklyn, I sent my mom that picture of Victoria and I just thought Brooklyn looked so cute,” Nicola said. “And I was like, ‘Look how cute Brooklyn looks. Also, look how cute this jacket is!’ Years later, as a surprise for me, my mom got it on 1stDibs.”

Nicola said her mom found a buyer who had an archive of looks from the 1990s and early 2000s, and has been trying to figure out whether the jacket she owns is her mother-in-law’s actual jacket from over two decades ago. 

“Victoria sold hers for charity [years ago], so it’s this mystery,” Nicola said. “Brooklyn was like, ‘Is that the jacket?!’ And everyone else was like, ‘Is that the jacket?!’ But we don’t know! But the whole part of Brooklyn wearing a red shirt when I wore the jacket in Paris [as he is in the original photo of Victoria wearing it] was not planned. We were dying laughing when we realized.”

Victoria Beckham is known for her sophisticated, feminine designs and her Posh history, so to speak. And now, the fashion designer, makeup mogul, and former Spice Girl is bringing her talents to the popular Spanish fashion label Mango in a limited-time, affordable collaboration.

Beckham's capsule collection is available in select stores and online today, April 23. The line combines her high-fashion style, "classic British luxury," and Mango's trend-forward approach. Translated into garments, these influences manifest in tailored pieces, feminine dresses, knitwear, statement bags, shoes, and accessories, according to a release from the brand. (Sizes range from XS–L and US 2–10.)

Mango x Victoria Beckham is the latest in a series of collaborations the high street brand has released for its 40th anniversary. Previously, it has designed collections ranging from a line of minimalist workwear with influencer Pernille Teisbaek, to a capsule of beachy vacationwear with SIMONMILLER.

Many looks in the collection are keen on crisp whites and breezy fabrics—all the staples for summer work outfits, with some sexy twists. Beckham and Mango shared a photo on Instagram featuring a model seated poolside in a matching white set: pleated, high-waisted trousers and an oversized boxy blazer with nothing underneath except for a long, blue-grey beaded necklace. The model also wears burgundy leather sandals with a toe strap.

Another promotional image shows a model emerging from the water in a white dress, ruched on the sides and slit up the front with a plunging halter neckline. For jewelry, she wears a stack of silver and gold chains on her wrist and one earring, a long sparkly string with a small gold ball on the end.

One thing's for sure: Posh Spice was hands-on throughout the collaboration's development. Working between London and Barcelona, Beckham and the Mango team created a lineup the designer describes as "sensual, considered, and feminine."

With muted tones and easygoing silhouettes, Beckham told WWD she wanted to capture Jane Birkin's effortlessly undone personal style. “I have always played with both the feminine and masculine and want to offer an effortless women’s wardrobe that is versatile and wearable,” Beckham said.

In an earlier interview about building her businesses with Vogue France, Beckham admitted that, "If I didn’t do this, I don’t know what I would do."

On Sunday, March 31, the former Spice Girl shared a carousel of photos on Instagram highlighting her family's Easter celebration on a yacht... because who doesn't celebrate holidays that way, right?!!

The photos feature the proud mom and dad hanging out with three of their four children—Harper, 12, Cruz, 19, and Brooklyn, 25. Brooklyn's wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, was also in attendance.

In the first photo, Victoria and David pose upside down wearing bunny ears and casual beach wear, on what appears to be the top deck of a luxury yacht.

"Happy Easter!!" Victoria captioned the post. "We love and miss you @romeobeckham!! Kisses from the Beckhams and Peltz Beckhams."

Additional photos showcase the proud mom posing with her daughter-in-law, Nicola, while wearing her medical boot—the fashion icon broke her foot on Valentine's Day after suffering a gym accident.

Romeo Beckham missed out on the festivities, but did show his family some love in the comment section via two simple heart emojis.

David Beckham shared a similar post to his personal Instagram page, re-posting the photo his wife shard and including throwback photos of all of his children during various Easter celebrations throughout the years.

If there's anyone whose fashion wouldn't be deterred by an injury, it's Victoria Beckham. Despite a broken foot, Beckham wore an edgy biker jacket and persevered on crutches ahead of her namesake brand's Fall 2024 Ready-to-Wear show at Paris Fashion Week. For Posh Spice, style is always the utmost priority, regardless of any medical setbacks!

On Friday morning, the OG Spice Girls member and fashion designer was captured in Paris holding onto a set of crutches while wearing a gray-washed leather jacket layered above a simple black top. She finished off her look with slouchy pinstripe trousers and oversized retro sunglasses for an edgy, "don't look at me—I'm famous!" feel.

Beckham's appearance follows a week after announcing her injury, where she revealed that she fractured her foot in the gym on Valentine's Day. The fashion designer's husband, David Beckham, also confirmed the news in a now-expired Instagram Story on February 22, sharing that the 49-year-old "fell over in the gym."

"Apparently, my wife's little accident in the gym was a clean break," he wrote on the post which showed her foot in a medical boot.

Beckham's fashionable sighting on crutches doesn't come as a surprise for long-time fans, as she's always been regarded as an over-the-top style star, no matter the occasion.

While most travelers opt for athleisure, or perhaps even the occasional business casual attire, Beckham does not. She was spotted at the airport in late January sporting a pair of sleek Balenciaga Pantaboots—a hybrid silhouette that merges stretchy leggings and thin, towering stiletto heels.

If one thing is for certain, it's that through any moment, or any setback for that matter, Beckham's sharp sense of fashion prevails. With Paris Fashion Week in full swing, it's likely that Beckham will make another appearance with her crutches in hand. But be that as it may, her style surely won't be sacrificed.

Victoria Beckham has a documented affinity for sky-high heels, whether they're daringly tall stilettos or even heels attached to her pants. The style icon and designer's most recent statement heel of choice also revived a long-lost boot trend—but followers almost didn't see it.

During an Instagram appearance with skincare expert Melanie Grant for an as-yet unnamed project—appearing to be a video discussion or podcast under her Victoria Beckham Beauty label—Beckham wore a set of her namesake brand's peep-toe boots. The star's black pair featured stretchy, black, over-the-knee uppers with thin heels; they could only be seen in flashes underneath her high-neck colorblock dress from her fashion label.

Though Victoria Beckham's shoes weren't the most visible part of her outfit—a midi-length dress of her own design with a short-sleeved black bodice and gathered navy skirt, accented by a silver watch, took up most of the attention—they proved she was still committed to heels for the occasion. The shoes are a departure from the dominant footwear trends of 2024; right now, fashion writ large is more focused on tough moto boots and buttery leather knee-highs (with, crucially, closed toes).

Similar formulas with brown, black or gray separates and minimal metal jewelry have been used by stars like Rachel Bilson when hosting and teasing their own audio projects. Though these promotions don't require head-to-toe glam (the outfit is, after all, not visible in an audio episode), hosts with a reputation in fashion are expected to dress up. Naturally, Beckham—a public figure for 30 years—clearly understands this, in tandem with her advocacy for wearing high heels in any environment. Remember: This is the designer who catches flights while wearing pantaboots, after all.

Within Beckham and Grant's teased discussion, the pair delved into their mutual love of beauty, facial cleansing, and even how their initial meeting led to a deep friendship—as well as Beckham's own love for Augustinus Bader. Though the final project is unclear, Beckham will be well-heeled for the big reveal.

When the time comes, Victoria Beckham will rewrite the script on what a grandmother looks like, no doubt. But she firmly said this week, that time is not now, and that time is not yet.

“Jesus. What?!” Beckham said when asked by Vogue if she was “excited” to become a grandma. “Woo. Hang on.” Composing herself, she added “I don’t think it’s happening just yet, unless you guys know something that I don’t. It’s not happening just yet,” she responded, acting flustered by the question. 

The eldest of Beckham’s four children with husband David Beckham, Brooklyn, married Nicola Peltz in April 2022 and, while Beckham doesn’t appear quite ready to welcome the next generation of Beckhams, she acknowledged that she’s excited to one day and has even considered what her grandchildren might call her someday. (In addition to Brooklyn, Beckham is mom to sons Romeo and Cruz and daughter Harper.)

“The last time I was with [Vogue editor-in-chief] Anna [Wintour], I was like, ‘Anna, what do your grandchildren call you?’” Beckham said. “And she said to me, ‘Anna.’ And I was like, ‘Well, that is very elegant, so maybe I’ll take that route.’ But it’s not happening just yet. But, you know, hopefully one day if I am blessed, then that would be wonderful. But we’re not there just yet!” (Consider that message abundantly received.) 

The mogul then jokingly added, “Christ, it’s hot guys. It’s hot in here! What’s happening?!”

When the time comes, it will likely be Brooklyn and Nicola who make Beckham a grandmother. (Anything can happen, but our bets are placed here—after all, Brooklyn admitted he wanted to have 10 kids with his wife and told Entertainment Tonight that he’s “always wanted to be a young dad,” adding “I would love to have a family soon, but whenever my wife is ready.”) A 25-year veteran of marriage herself, does Beckham give the almost-two-years-in couple any advice? “I think you just gotta be there for them,” Beckham said, per Us Weekly. “Communication is key and be there to support them, support him [Brooklyn] and Nicola. I don’t like to offer advice. I’m always just there. Me and David, we’re always just there.”

Of her mother-in-law, Peltz said in a cover story interview with Byrdie released this week “I love her, and she’s such an incredible, successful woman,” Peltz said. “How lucky am I that I get to ask her for advice? I’m blessed!”

Many of us imminently dread the airport. The rush of arriving on time, navigating a maze of escalators and gates, and fighting to stay awake so boarding calls aren't missed—it's a uniquely stressful and overwhelming whirlwind. This is on top of the added pressure of packing and dressing for mid-air travel, where every tier of athleisure and business attire is on display. Victoria Beckham, however, does not fall into this category. While arriving in New York City on Monday, Beckham wore a pair of Pantaboots. Lastly, Beckham—a longtime accessories fanatic, evidenced by her extensively chronicled sunglasses, shoes, and Hermès Birkin collections—completed her airport look with oversized black sunglasses and a gleaming silver bracelet. A large, smooth black leather clutch with gold hardware, hailing from her namesake fashion brand, chicly ensured her essentials were at the ready while still making a style statement—and, as always, remaining decisively on-brand.

Aside from her latest outing, Pantaboots aren'y new territory for Beckham. Throughout the 2020s, the Victoria Beckham Beauty founder stepped out on multiple occasions in silky and crystal mesh-covered styles and fishnet-patterned pairs boasting the same pointed toes and soaring heels for a height-boosting flair. She's also no stranger to high-coverage heels, having introduced over-the-knee boots in a range of jersey, leather, and mesh colorways for her own brand over the years.

No one can deny Victoria and David Beckham's sense of humor!

In a new teaser for the upcoming Uber Seats Super Bowl commercial, the posh pair recreated the moment in their Netflix documentary, aptly named Beckham, when the soccer superstar had to remind his wife to "be honest."

In documentary clip that went viral back in October, the former Spice Girl claimed both her and her husband were "very working class."

"Be honest," her husband responded as he poked his head into the room during the interview.

"I am being honest," Victoria replied.

“What car did your dad drive you to school in?” David asked.

It was after a few back-and-forth exchanges that Victoria Beckham finally admitted: "OK, in the '80s, my dad had a Rolls Royce."

"Thank you," David said before quickly ducking out of the room.

Instead of urging his wife to be honest about her upbringing, in the ad David Beckham is making sure Victoria sticks to the truth while discussing their upcoming Super Bowl commercial.

"So David and I are gonna be in a little commercial," Victoria begins, to which David once again pokes his head into the frame and urges his wife to "be honest."

"OK. It's a big commercial," Victoria admits. Her husband then says she needs to say when the commercial will air.

"David, I'm trying," Victoria responds.

Then, just like before, Victoria finally caves and reveals that the commercial will air during "the big baseball game."

Close enough, right?

Victoria goes on to misremember a few additional key details regarding their Uber Eats advertisement—including the possibility it may very well air during the "hockey bowl" and promising the spot will feature Jessica, not Jennifer, Aniston.

All the while, she's wearing a personalized "my dad had a Rolls-Royce" t-shirt.

The commercial ends with a simple text that reads: "Whatever you forget this Sunday, remember Uber Eats."
