Yet, stylist Law Roach gave a wedding-worthy dress a starring role in Zendaya's The Odyssey press tour. On July 8, the star wore an angelic lace Louis Vuitton gown for the Paris premiere.

In Homer's epic poem, Athena is often depicted as the guardian angel of Odysseus, guiding and protecting him and his son, Telemachus (played by Z's husband, Tom Holland). It seems Louis Vuitton leaned into the protector side of the character.

The gown's scalloped skirt, elongated train, and hip-high slit looked effortlessly divine. However, according to the press release from Louis Vuitton, "more than 800 hours of work were dedicated to creating this piece."

A voluminous, frilly lace bolero topped the strap bodice, with layers of lace expanding around her back, petticoat-style and framing the Emmy winner's profile. If Zendaya's wedding dress was anything like her latest Louis Vuitton look, she certainly made Holland shed a tear or two.

For the finishing touch, Louis Vuitton shade-matched the dress's cream-colored satin to pointy stilettos. According to Roach, the sapphire-encrusted necklace was on loan from Messika, a French jeweler, whom she wore during The Drama press tour.

Speaking of which, Zendaya was no stranger to bridal-adjacent looks while promoting The Drama, which follows events surrounding a wedding.

Last March, she looked every bit a newlywed in a lace skirt set from Ermanno Scervino Pre-Fall 2026, matching coat, and Christian Louboutin "So Kate" pumps that we've come to associate with the star. But because they're Zendaya and Law Roach, they found then-creative-director Alexander McQueen's Givenchy Spring 1997 Couture dress, too. Then, elongated, knee-sweeping sleeves dramatized the LWD's sleek silhouette.

Buttoning it a bit more would make her top office-appropriate in an instant.

Striped button-downs have become Jennifer Lawrence's signature this season. Last month, she stacked one in black-and-white over tomato red trousers and butter yellow loafers.

As recently as June 24, she hit up her favorite New York City label La Ligne for an ivory-and-brown pinstripe piece. The $275 style flowed so effortlessly during her afternoon bike ride. Plus, her Marie Claire-approved La Ligne Colby Pants proved brown and black make a boho-posh pair.

In Rome this week, Zendaya's vintage Armani dress kept stylist Law Roach's promise to "only wear Italian when in Italy" for the Spider-Man: Brand New Day premiere. Now that the film's fashion tour has touched down in London, the power pair went straight to another famous local's archives. This time, the pair tapped John Galliano for a hypnotic, 28-year-old vintage dress featuring an intricate, spiderwebbed charm necklace.

On June 25, the newlywed went all-out for her husband's hometown. Every element of her circa-1997 look was mesmerizing, starting with the chainmail shawl across her back. Sterling silver strands were spun into a surprisingly lifelike spiderweb. The diamond-encrusted spider at the center is worth zooming in on. Zendaya's John Galliano dress met her luxury accessory quota (and then some) all on its own. Roach wasn't done frosting his fashion muse, however. It would've been a crime to leave her Jessica McCormack engagement ring in its box—especially in Holland's hometown. Thankfully, her five-carat ring stack was complete. To finish, she sourced Tiffany & Co.'s five-figure Sixteen Stone collection for diamond hoop earrings, a matching ring, and a slightly slimmer bracelet.

Since 2024, Zendaya has curated one of Hollywood's most impressive John Galliano collections. Perhaps her most iconic pull was the Galliano-era Givenchy Spring 1996 Couture gown she wore to open the Met Gala red carpet that year.

Z may be relatively new to the world of Galliano, but Roach certainly isn't. So, on June 23, Roach weaved archival Versace and a 35-year-old Giorgio Armani dress into Zendaya's Spider-Man red carpets in Rome. Now that's his superpower.

Roach started Z's first Spider-Man style run since 2021 with less on-the-nose homages to the Marvel character. Remember the web-like fringe on her Christian Cowan dress? Or her Spider-Man red skirt? Believe it or not, there's a nakeder sandal trend than flip-flops on the market. Rihanna modeled it on May 12, beneath an extra-long pair of black pants. Every element of the wedge heels—including slim, peep-toe straps and a sky-high heel—was crafted from transparent PVC. She's the latest footwear risk-taker to bare it all beneath naked sandals, following Chrissy Teigen, Zoë Kravitz, Charlize Theron, Demi Moore, and Katy Perry.

The exact opposite of platform sandals is trending this season, too. Extra-slim shoes looked skinnier than ever on Miu Miu and Diotima's runways. Then, Hannah Einbinder gave the silhouette a proper Hollywood close-up at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. Straps beneath her toes and around her ankles couldn't have been thicker than one-millimeter wide. Yet, the Hacks star didn't wobble once during her Alaïa-clad photocall.

Zendaya's engagement ring is gold, but on May 20, she said "I do" to silver for Louis Vuitton's Cruise 2027 show. What else was there to do when creative director Nicolas Ghesquière sculpted a stunning silver mini dress for his leading fashion muse?

The award for most celebrity-filled Cruise front row undeniably went to Ghesquière last night. Everyone from Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt to Emma Stone and Chase Infiniti flocked to The Frick Collection on New York City's Upper East Side. Zendaya made the trip too, of course. The brand ambassador hasn't missed a Louis Vuitton fashion show for three seasons straight.

The Euphoria star stole the show, mainly for being one of the only VIPs in custom Louis Vuitton by Ghesquière. Almost everyone else wore Fall 2026 outfits. Stylist Law Roach (Zendaya's plus-one for the evening) brought the look to life, beginning with a thick, off-the-shoulder neckline inspired by an elongated, Spring 2026 style.

Ghesquière pleated the fabric's glossy silver sheen multiple times. Then, the rest of the thigh-grazing mini remained untouched. Its silky satin swirled around Zendaya like waves, adding movement to the long-sleeve bodice with each step.

That same buttery-soft silver stretched onto pointy Louis Vuitton pumps. Yes, she gave her Christian Louboutin So Kates a much-deserved night off. To finish, the newly-married woman popped on her wedding band and east-west engagement ring from Jessica McCormack, matched its sparkle quota to diamond Tiffany & Co. earrings, and slicked her bixie haircut to the side, 1920s-style.

One Louis Vuitton look would've been enough to tide fans over until Z's next press tour for The Odyssey. (Its July 17 release date means she'll return to the red carpet any day now.) It seems she was feeling generous last night, though. She attended the atelier's after-party in a sportif set seen on the Cruise 2027 catwalk just minutes before. It's no surprise Zendaya gravitated toward the athleisure-adjacent design, following her latest collaboration with On.

Ghesquière loaned Zendaya a fresh-from-the-runway, cropped moto jacket, after she flashed her brand ambassador badge. Drawing inspiration from the model, she paired it with equally-shinny track shorts in the canary yellow color trend. Stark white, peekaboo boxer-esque trim emerged from above Z's elasticized waistband, alongside a brown-and-khaki belt.

The It girl opted out of the gray bucket hat, silver ankle booties, and a monogrammed bag. Instead, she accessorized with the same stilettos and slightly-shorter earrings, also from Tiffany's HardWear line. If this was Zendaya's way of apologizing for skipping the 2026 Met Gala (and the after-party), she is most definitely forgiven.

The Cruise 2027 season has been a big one for celebrity cameos. Sabrina Carpenter RSVP'd "yes" to Dior's L.A. show; Paris Hilton and Cindy Crawford shut down Gucci's Times Square runway; and now, Zendaya delivered the grandest of finales with not one, but two Louis Vuitton looks. Talk about an iconic few weeks.

On May 8, Maura Higgins told Vulture she's leaving the Love Island USA villa for greener pastures—or should I say red carpets. Days later, the former Aftersun host started a new, Love Island-less chapter with her Cannes Film Festival debut on May 12. I tink she's well on her way to being a serious Hollywood star, don't you?

Nothing says "I made it" like attending the 2026 Cannes Film Festival four months after the Season 4 finale of The Traitors aired and slingshotted Higgins to It-girl status. If you weren't familiar with her reality TV run, you might assume she's a fixture of Cannes fashion. Stylist Kris Fe helped Higgins look familiar with the glitz and glamour of the French Riviera in a strapless black gown accented by a thick white band along the neckline. The design hailed from New York City designer Andrew Kwon.

Since the film festival is following the naked dress ban again this summer, not a single feature was see-through. Even Higgins's black, carpet-grazing coat appeared opaque from top-to-bottom. But it didn't have to be naked (or even nearly naked) to start conversations on the carpet. Her dress's train extended a full five-feet behind her on the Cannes Film Festival's famous staircase.

For finishing touches, Higgins side-parted her Old Hollywood-inspired bob, popped on diamond stud earrings, and flaunted her back tattoo, which shined in lieu of a statement necklace.

Higgins has come a long way from the custom-built villa located in the Mamanuca Islands of Fiji. Still, she's not leaving that era of her life in the dust. "I’ve done it for three years, and they’ll always be family to me, but I think it’s time to try something different," she told Vulture. "I’ve got amazing opportunities coming in the door. I think it’s time to say good-bye." By "amazing opportunities," Higgins means Dancing With the Stars, her first acting gig in an Irish comedy called The Spin, and most recently, an invite to Cannes.

Higgins isn't taking her Cannes RSVP lightly. She channeled red carpet regulars like Zendaya, Selena Gomez, Demi Moore, Tracee Ellis Ross, and more in the black-and-white color trend. Perhaps the two-tone gown was her way of saying, "I did my fashion research." She told Vulture Zendaya is "even more fabulous in person," suggesting she studies her step-and-repeats. (Who doesn't?)

Higgins's followers knew that the moment she arrived in the South of France, though. Earlier on Tuesday, she joined the Cannes street style circuit in a vintage, circa-1990 skirt set from Thierry Mugler. Her introduction to French Riviera fashion seemed to take cues from Bella Hadid, Amal Clooney, Kate Moss, and Margot Robbie, all of whom have made the Cannes Film Festival an archival admirer's Met Gala.

Until tonight, Zendaya never skipped a Met Gala after-party. One red carpet moment just has never been enough from the queen of the Met—and she knows it. That's why it was so heartbreaking when Zendaya's 2026 Met Gala after-party look never came.

The tears started falling once Beyoncé and Rihanna graced the Met Gala red carpet, but not Zendaya. Reality set in right then and there: Z's three year Gala streak would end before she could interpret the "Fashion Is Art" dress code. At least two of my favorite Met Gala mainstays didn't RSVP "no." Beyoncé in custom Olivier Rousteing and Rihanna in Maison Margiela Fall 2025 Couture filled the Zendaya-shaped hole in my Met Gala-loving heart.

If an exhibition was made from Zendaya's Met Gala gowns, the Metropolitan Museum of Art would need an entirely new wing to hold her after-party looks. (This year's mannequin would be noticeably naked, though—and not in a naked dressing type of way.) The evolution of her second selects tracks Z's impressive transformation from Disney star to full-blown fashion icon. We all have to start somewhere, right?

For the Euphoria star, that was a surprisingly work-friendly suit skirt from Michael Kors, the same designer behind her 2016 after-Met Gala dress. A polka-dotted button-down and camel-colored blazer made it the opposite of her initial, high-low Fausto Puglisi gown. But the mini skirt's patchwork boasted the same sun motif atop her skirt, bracelet, and tiara.

Michael Kors dressed Zendaya for the 2016 Met Gala after-party, too. Her Fall 2016 mini dress was metallic gold, just like her first gown. Matching hoop rings connected the plunge top and knee-grazing midi skirt. Then, she accessorized with a double-breasted pea coat, matching knee-high boots, and the same sleek bob seen a few hours prior.

The Drama actor's after-party attire took a turn for the timeless at the 2024 Met Gala. For the "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion" theme, she ended her four-look marathon in a custom gray gown from Loewe. What a surprise to see the archival connoisseur in something fresh-from-the-mannequin—especially after she switched into a Givenchy Spring 1996 Couture gown for her second step-and-repeat.

Loewe's satin, halter-neck slip fit the then-co-host like a glove, thanks to the corset beneath the bodice's vertical pleating. Then, a hip-high slit revealed her Christian Louboutin So Kates, of course.

Zendaya pulled off an all-white, Bianca Jagger-coded suit from Louis Vuitton on the 2025 Met Gala red carpet. Later, Roach sourced Patrick Kelly's archives for a sartorial 180: a ruby-red sequin dress, featuring an oversize floral print. Her fur shawl and matching Louboutins were a few shades darker, without entering garnet territory. To offset the grandeur of her after-party gown, Z only accessorized with diamond stud earrings and her east-west engagement ring from Jessica McCormack. What else did she need?

On the 2026 Met Gala red carpet…well, Zendaya might wear nothing at all. Not in a naked-dress sense, but as in the pop culture icon is potentially a no-show for this year’s event.

Whispers of Zendaya skipping the 2026 Met Gala red carpet began on May 1, when Elle published an article claiming The Drama star would miss the first Monday in May event. How did the publication learn that Z would break her sacrosanct tradition and RSVP “no”? Unclear: “ELLE has learned the actress will not be at the New York City event on Monday” was the extent of reported information. Even so, it was enough to break hearts across the internet; “Cancel it” and “Met Gala over,” two sad Zswaggers commented on an Instagram post from pop culture news aggregate Pop Base re-sharing Elle’s reporting.

Social media sleuths and outlets like The Independent have a theory as to why Zendaya might be sitting this one out; Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos are honorary co-chairs at the 2026 Met Gala. The decision has flamed online controversy and is rumored to be why Devil Wears Prada 2 star Meryl Streep also declined to attend.

While we might never see how Zendaya and her long-trusted image architect, Law Roach, would interpret this year’s "Fashion Is Art” dress code, it’s safe to assume it would be another hall-of-famer—as are each of their tag-teamed fashion collaborations. But there’s always her incomparable Met Gala red carpet archive to use as a fashion fix.

On the 2025 Met Gala red carpet, Z and Roach chose a three-piece suit and matching white hat designed by Pharrell Williams for Louis Vuitton, which articulated the "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style" to a T. Beyond nailing the professional theme, the all-white look could also read as a personal homage to her engagement to Tom Holland. (Lest we forget when Roach incidentally spilled the beans that "the wedding has already happened" on the 2026 Actor Awards red carpet this past March.)

Zendaya’s Met Gala look from last year wasn’t without sparkle; she had a diamond-flecked snake brooch affixed to the back of her jacket and wore yellow diamond studs and a sparkling ring from Bulgari. Cut to a few minutes later, and Zendaya changed into a second Met Gala look, this one an enormous black ball gown from Galliano's Givenchy era, specifically a 1996 collection (the same year the actress was born). Pulled from the Beverly Hills-based vintage boutique Lily et Cie, the archival dress featured a mile-long train, puffy, off-the-shoulder sleeves, a corseted lace-up bodice, and a slightly flared peplum waist. Roach topped off Z’s look with a flower-bouquet fascinator, designed by Philip Treacy for Alexander McQueen in 2006.

But back to the present. Her up-in-the-air red carpet RSVP aside, Zendaya was spotted in NYC on May 1 outside of On's SoHo store, wearing a windbreaker she and Roach co-designed for the footwear brand. So, maybe she’s skipping the 2026 Met Gala red carpet because she’d rather have a cozy night in, lounging around in her own sportswear?

After wearing a spring color combination at husband Tom Holland's Wednesday tennis tournament, Z zoomed from L.A. to On's SoHo, NYC store. Rumor has it, she was filming another ad for the Swiss brand—in the sportswear she and stylist Law Roach co-designed. She re-styled an outfit from the original campaign, beginning with the $250 Half-Zip Anorak.

The oversize, quarter-zip jacket combines a black base with a preppy, extra-large white stripe across the middle. With that palette alone, the windbreaker pays homage to Zendaya's favorite red carpet trends from The Drama's press run the black-and-white color combination. Finishing touches like a drawstring hood, elasticized cuffs, and a bungee-corded hem made the pullover just as practical as it is cool-girl-coded.

Zendaya is the latest fashion girl to face April showers with the windbreaker trend in tow. Charli xcx, Lily Allen, and Alexa Chung have all elevated the sporty layer this spring, as well as Hailey Bieber and Zoë Kravitz at last September's Saint Laurent show. However, the Euphoria actor is the first star to take it into her own hands. Perhaps Bieber will be inspired to give it the Skylrk treatment—she did so with the leather bomber jacket trend, after all.

The comeback coat isn't just VIP-beloved, though. In March, Marie Claire editors fell for Uniqlo's under-$100 windbreaker, courtesy of an ongoing collaboration with JW Anderson. Technically, it belongs in the men's section, but that "borrowed-from-the-boys mentality" is exactly what got fashion e-commerce editor Julia Marzovilla to swipe her card.

Back to Z's 'fit: Her On selects didn't stop there. Why would they? She's proud of her designs, and rightfully so. It seems she stacked the windbreaker over On's $170 Parachute Pants—an identical recreation of one of her campaign looks. The black bottoms were just as baggy as her anorak, but adjustable bungee cords around her waist added just as much shape.

Finally, the familiar, burgundy toe-box of Zendaya's Cloudnova Moon sneakers returned. On's contribution to the ballet sneakers trend is just as slim and glove-like as actual ballet slippers. The "Fig Fig" color sold out in minutes, a common side effect of Zendaya's approval. But the all-black shade—featuring the same, criss-cross elastic laces—is still shoppable.

It's a really strange sensation to watch The Drama when you're planning your own wedding.

While doing a (way-too-late) tasting at their venue to finalize the menu just a few days before the wedding, a conversation with their friends turns into a party game of sorts: What is the worst thing you've ever done? Charlie can't think of anything all that significant. Emma's is a doozy.

Here's where spoilers kick in: When she was a teenager, she planned, but didn't execute, a school shooting. It's a horrifying revelation that acts as a comment on the pervasiveness of gun violence in American society. But more than that, it's a jumping-off point to explore the anxieties associated with commitment. The anti-rom-com, written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli, asks, if you found out your partner contemplated something genuinely monstrous, would you still tie the knot?

Now let's make this clear: I myself am remarkably chill about my upcoming event. Movies and TV shows are trying to make me less so.

In addition to The Drama, this spring has seen the arrival of the Netflix limited horror series Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen. The show follows Rachel Harkin (Camila Morrone), who travels with her fiancé, Nicky Cunningham (Adam DiMarco), to his brood's remote vacation house for what she thinks will be their intimate wedding. Immediately, she is struck by a strong sense of foreboding. At first, she suspects her partner's weird family is going to murder her in some satanic ritual, but her plight ends up being a lot more existential. She is cursed, and if the man she marries is not her one, true soulmate, she will die on her wedding day. If they don't walk down the aisle, the curse will spread to his bloodline. That means she's forced to question whether the guy she loves is truly the only person for her because both of their lives are at stake.

Tonally, The Drama and Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen are vastly different. The Drama is ultimately a relationship saga that's almost too real. Meanwhile, the longer you watch Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, the more it leans into its supernatural flourishes before its Grand Guignol ending, where faces start oozing rivers of red liquid. But both, at their core, are about how choosing to say "I do" can be a recipe for disaster.

These days, marriage is looking less and less appealing. A recent report in The New York Times found that the U.S. marriage rate hit a 140-year low in 2019. It has risen a little since then, but not in a truly significant way. At the same time, the marriage industrial complex is still going strong—especially in the age of oversharing on social media, when bridal showers and bachelorette parties are more curated (and friendship-testing) than ever, and fashionable brides are desperate to get their ceremonies into Vogue. The Drama and Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen speak to those twin trends: As more people ask, "Why even get married?" the business of getting married can feel overwhelming.

Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen leans into this by centering the episodes on different traditions, such as the bachelorette party or the ceremony. Rachel only wants to deal with the whole curse thing, while her nattering to-be-sister-in-law Portia (Gus Birney) demands she have fun with the girls. Similarly, in The Drama, Charlie and Emma are overwhelmed by an instructor (Celia Rowlson-Hall) coaching them on their wedding dance, who takes everything way too seriously. Also, the very conversation that yields Emma's confession starts because Emma and Charlie think they walk by their wedding DJ doing heroin on the street and wonder whether it’s a momentary lapse in judgment or the kind of thing that could ruin their celebration. After Charlie learns what Emma nearly did, they still go around meeting with their vendors, like the cheery photographer (Zoë Winters) who can't understand why they suddenly look so uncomfortable around each other. In each piece of entertainment, the show must go on. After all, there's time and money invested in making sure everything is just right.

Through these sequences, we see how the pomp and circumstance of marriage is the enemy of honest discussion. That's especially evident in Something Very Bad's rehearsal dinner episode, where Rachel placates her nerves by repeating the cute story of how she and Nicky met until she learns that something about her telling doesn't add up. Charlie spirals in The Drama without truly listening to what Emma has to say or realizing the pain these memories have brought up for her. He makes her drama all about him.

The ultimate question in both cases, as it is in any wedding, is whether these two people are meant to be together. And this, again, is where they diverge. At the outset of the finale of Something Very Bad, Rachel decides she's committed to believing she and Nicky are soulmates, but after her heartfelt vows, he is the one who has trouble sealing the deal. He thinks the best solution is to call the whole thing off. Given the curse, that is not an option, and she realizes he never truly believed her very justified fears. In the end, through a magic twist of fate, she gets to leave him behind, and thank goodness for that. She just has to serve as witness to every Cunningham marriage, as the human manifestation of the curse they now have.

The Drama, on the other hand, ends with Charlie and Emma together. They get married, but the reception is a hot mess with an angry, drunken bridesmaid (Alana Haim, genius in the role) and an admission of infidelity on Charlie's part. But after blood has been spilled and her dress has been ruined, they both land at the same diner, where they tentatively start over. Maybe they are choosing to ignore each other's flaws. Or maybe they are just recognizing that nobody's perfect.

I think I weirdly find The Drama's version of romance more comforting. Yes, Something Very Bad has a you-go-girl ending where Rachel drives off, grinning, smoking, and looking like a badass. But she's also condemned to a life of bearing witness to other people's misery.

It's The Drama that has a bizarre optimism for its central pair. Sure, they may be deeply messed up, but they are now married, and they are going to try to make it work. They always thought they'd conclude their night at the diner. Now they are doing just that, a little worse for wear, but together nonetheless.

At this point, I think I know my partner pretty well. We've been together for over 10 years. He's my best friend. But you can never truly know another person. There will be thoughts that will always be mysterious. Moods that you can't interpret. You just have to hope that you can meet at your version of a diner, willing to forgive.

I don't wear eyeshadow very much anymore these days (I used to live for a smokey eye during my college dance team days), and when I do, I try to stick to warm, neutral tones. But then I saw Zendaya's makeup at the most recent premiere of The Drama, and now I think she's fully convinced me to start wearing blue eyeshadow.

We've finally reached the "something blue" phase of Zendaya and Robert Pattinson's press tour for their A24 wedding film. It officially hits theaters today, but ahead of its release, both actors attended one final premiere event for it in New York City on April 2—and once again, Zendaya, the method dresser that she is, really leaned into the drama of it all on the red carpet.

For the premiere, Zendaya wore a strapless Schiaparelli gown with a mermaid silhouette. It featured black tulle that collected around the waistline and bright blue feathers on the corset and the bottom of the skirt. To match the high drama energy of her gown's electric blue feathers, she wore smokey eye makeup with blue eyeshadow, black eyeliner on her upper lid and waterline, and a touch of metallic blue eyeshadow that dragged across her waterline and the inner corners of her eyes. To ensure her eye makeup really popped for the night, she threw on some brown contact lenses.

While Zendaya and her longtime stylist, Law Roach, expertly managed to save the most dramatic look of the press tour for last, this marks the third time this month that she's stepped out wearing an over-the-top eye makeup look. For the French premiere on March 24, she brought the "siren" eye makeup trend to the red carpet, characterized by dark winged eyeliner and long, voluminous lashes. Almost immediately after that, she attended the Rome premiere event wearing more smokey eye makeup, only this time the look was created using warm red eyeshadow and was rounded out with red eyeliner on her waterline.

Nothing could've prepared me for all of the stunning looks Zendaya has pulled out during this press tour, and if this is what we have to look forward to when she hits the red carpet to promote Dune: Part Three and Spider-Man: Brand New Day later this year, I'm already sat.

On April 1, Zendaya confirmed her final The Drama press tour look would be "something blue," after following the wedding tradition of styling "something old, new, and borrowed" at previous premieres. But she couldn't settle for just one something. Instead, she debuted a trio of "something blues" this week, all leading up to the grand finale: an anti-bridal Schiaparelli haute couture dress at the New York City premiere.

Z and stylist Law Roach set a high bar for themselves before NYC, with her 2015 Oscars Vivienne Westwood dress in L.A., black-and-white Louis Vuitton in Paris, and Cate Blanchett's Armani Privé gown in Rome. The strapless, corseted, drop-waist bustier and voluminous, double-decker trumpet skirt on her final Schiaparelli gown still managed to exceed expectations.

A traditional bridal-white base succumbed to black crinoline, embroidered with 65,000 raw silk feathers. The plumes—which added dimension to the curved bodice and petal-shaped train—shined in 27 different shades of blue. According to a press release from the label, creative director Daniel Roseberry drew inspiration from kingfisher birds' iridescent display of turquoise and cobalt feathers. Altogether, it required 8,000 hours of work.

Even Zendaya's Tiffany & Co. jewelry got the "something blue" memo. First, she filled her piercing stack with 27-carat, star-shaped diamond earrings—plus circular sapphires beneath each stud. Next, the Euphoria actor's Jessica McCormack engagement ring traded places with a sculptural cocktail ring. A cushion-cut sapphire sparkled in the midst of seven carats of pavé diamonds. Finally, an emerald-cut sapphire ring, bezeled by itty-bitty diamonds, sparkled opposite her left hand.

Once the credits rolled inside Regal Union Square, Zendaya changed one "something blue" for another while en route to the West Village's Waverly Inn. Her satin Di Petsa slip couldn't have been more different than its Schiaparelli predecessor. The halter after-party pick was mostly transparent, apart from strategically-placed ripples atop her bust and a matching satin skirt. It was a stellar shade match to Z's Tiffany & Co. sparklers leftover from the premiere.

The Drama is officially in theaters, meaning it's time to say goodbye to the It girl's latest method dressing run. The end of a Zendaya and Roach press tour is always bittersweet, but was a fabulous few weeks it was. Carrie Bradshaw's Sex and the City dress, a Bermuda shorts suit, a bridal necktie, and so much more teased Z's actual wedding wardrobe. But if you're hoping for one more look, you'll spend a long time waiting: Roach confirmed "nobody will ever see" her real-life dress.

"Something blue" is by far the boldest requisite in the "old, new, borrowed, and blue" wedding tradition. That said, it's common for brides to wear the shade in a subtle way, perhaps on earrings, a hair pin, or even beneath their gown as lingerie. Case in point: Zendaya's "something blue" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon traded a "groom's eyes only" garter for a lingerie-inspired dress fresh from her The Drama character's honeymoon luggage.

It's been almost a decade since Zendaya visited Fallon's couch, but you wouldn't know it. Stylist Law Roach nailed the late-night dress code with help from Zimmermann's Fall 2026 line. Co-star Robert Pattinson's low-key blazer and jeans ensured all eyes went to Z's semi-sheer, navy blue dress.

The velvet-trimmed bralette and matching under-bust corset turned the gown more opaque. At her hips, an undone garter belt dangled on top of the pleated skirt. Rolex's newly-minted brand ambassador chose the Lady-Datejust, of which the catalog offers hundreds of models. Zendaya and Roach narrowed it down to the most bejeweled timepiece, featuring pavé diamonds atop the watch face, dial, bezel, and band. It'd set watch collectors back $177,400, but since Z's Jessica McCormack engagement ring was MIA, she needed to reach the sparkle quota somehow.

Before her stop by The Tonight Show, Zendaya pulled on a fringe dress to discuss her press tour styling strategy on Good Morning America. "The last look is something blue," she confirmed. The actress also pointed out a reference fans might not have noticed from photos alone. As she's jetted from event to event, she's picked out increasingly dark pieces. "We’re leaning into the thematic changes to the movie," she explained. So, it starts quite light… but thematically, the looks are starting to get a bit darker, so following kind of the plot of the film."

Fans might have assumed she'd reserve her "something blue" for the final premiere of The Drama rather than a talk show. At last: Zendaya's The Drama press tour has touched down in New York City, along with a new batch of fresh-from-the-runway looks. First, she went on Good Morning America in a floral blazer-turned-dress from Erdem. After her April 1 interview, Z greeted fans in another "something new," featuring Erdem's take on the feather trend.

Stylist Law Roach's latest pull for Zendaya was less "wedding dress" and more "red carpet trend remix." The mini combined a black-and-white tweed funnel jacket up top with a skirt full of coordinating plumage. Their stark white tufts were a perfect shade match to her Christian Louboutin So Kate stilettos—and the other bridal neutrals Zendaya has worn to premieres across Paris, L.A., and Rome.

Zendaya is usually a minimalist outfit enthusiast while off-duty. With a touch of feathers Roach can make her a maximalist in an instant—and he's been doing it for years. Back in 2018, yellow-and-pink feathers made the Euphoria star's already-vibrant Marc Jacobs gown even more extravagant. Zendaya's 2026 schedule shows no signs of slowing down. On March 31, days before her The Drama press tour peaked, stylist Law Roach wrote "we've been busy" under an Instagram photo of Z on set. Instead of Christian Louboutin So Kates, Zendaya slipped on an unreleased pair of On ballet sneakers, suggesting the actor is back in brand ambassador mode for the time being.

Zendaya has worn the Swiss brand's shoes while promoting Challengers, at a real-life tennis match, and in many campaigns, but Marie Claire sneakerheads don't recognize these trainers. They aren't even the Cloudzone Moon sneakers she and Roach co-designed with On last August.

Here's what we do know: The Euphoria actor's white shoes were heavily influenced by the ballet sneaker trend. Elastic, navy blue straps—in lieu of traditional laces—criss-crossed over each stark white tongue, similar to Puma's take on the sneakerinas. Then, curved toe boxes—with a slight, ballet-proof point to them—hugged her feet like slippers.

Contrary to last summer's flat, perforated treads, these nameless On sneakers mirror each foot's natural arch, only to heighten an inch or so beneath each heel. Emerald green trim along Zendaya's ankles popped against her monogrammed crew-length socks. There's a chance she helped design this mysterious model, too. The familiar, face-down heel tabs seen on Z's Cloudzone Moon sneakers returned atop these Jane Doe ballet sneakers.

Her no-fuss outfit—including a black cardigan, peekaboo collar, and the oversize Bermuda shorts trend—ensured all energy went toward ID'ing her new On shoes.

Information about the (potential) It-shoe of the season remains under lock and key, as did most of Zendaya's previous On picks. A few months after Challengers filming wrapped in 2024, she signed her name on the dotted line as the face of On. It hasn't been too demanding of a role, unlike the frantic bride she plays in The Drama. The only requirements? Star in a sneaker campaign every few months, and while she's at it, endorse a trend in the three-figure Ons.

This time around, ballet sneakers were Zendaya's craze of choice—one that became her go-to shoe while living in London last fall. All this sneaker sub-genre needed to return for spring was someone like Z to take it for another twirl. Doing so in never-before-seen On sneakers certainly helped stir the pot, too.

The capital-C clomp of spring's clogs trend will stop you in your tracks. Rigid, traditionally-wooden soles make clogs one of the loudest shoes in street style history, and yet, their return to It-piece status was surprisingly stealthy. Following Anne Hathaway and Zendaya this month, Halle Berry lugged the clogs revival to Paris on March 29.

A month after Berry confirmed her engagement to Van Hunt, the couple was spotted in Paris's 9th arrondissement. While her vintage engagement ring remained hidden under a rust-orange wrap coat, the Oscar winner's cuffed, army green pants promised her clogs a proper close-up. Berry slipped on leather, closed-toe clogs from Ancient Greek Sandals, featuring slim buckled straps across each black upper. Yellow gold studs blended the leather toe boxes into matching, pine wood soles. To finish, the 2.7-inch heels continued as platforms after curved (albeit subtle) arches atop the centers.

The great clog comeback began in late February, when Julianne Moore arrived at Bottega Veneta's fashion show in the label's $1,700 Gondola Clogs. What began as classic wooden heels received the Bottega treatment with Intrecciato uppers, the same woven leather behind the label's celebrity-beloved bags. Similar gold studs to Berry's emphasized each sole's Dutch-inspired klompen curvature.

In March, Zendaya gave the clogs trend a minimalist makeover with $140 Dansko slides. Not a single stud, buckle, or logo decorated the black leather shoes beloved by chefs and healthcare workers alike. They matched the no-fuss charm of her black long-sleeve and billowy white trousers.

Most recently, Chloé's Jeannette Clogs—the four-inch platforms behind the shoes' circa-2024 revival—earned a spot in Anne Hathaway's Milan luggage. Their studded, chestnut-colored soles emerged from beneath Alo sweatpants and a leopard-print, calfskin Michael Kors coat.

Earlier this month, stylist Law Roach suggested that Zendaya and Tom Holland had already tied the knot in secret. Zendaya is currently promoting her new A24 movie, The Drama, alongside Robert Pattinson, but she's yet to confirm or deny her rumored marital status. However, during a trip to Rome, Italy on March 27, the actress gave the sweetest nod to her alleged spouse.

The Euphoria star was photographed arriving at a jewelry store in Rome wearing cuffed jeans and The Row's Gavina Shirt in Light Sky Blue. For footwear, Zendaya opted for a pair of The Row's Canal Loafers, which retail for $990 and are available to shop in Black or Milk shades.

Notably, as well as wearing The Row during her current press tour, Zendaya's character in The Drama also reps Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's brand.

The cutest element of Zendaya's outfit—by far—was her baseball cap, which was emblazoned with the name of Holland's non-alcoholic beer brand, Bero. Clearly, Zendaya is a big fan of her fiancé's ventures.

The actress was also photographed wearing a $1,250 Jessica McCormack Round Wire Fine Gold Band on her ring finger, along with a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Watch. According to @young.brando, Zendaya's Rolex is a vintage model.

While Zendaya and Holland's marital status remains unclear, the Spider-Man: No Way Home stars appear to be constantly supportive of one another.

Don't get me wrong: I adore office outfit trends as much as the next fashion-girl-turned-corporate employee. But every once in a while, I don't want to use any brain power before 8 a.m. Enter: My blazer, button-down, and black trousers, the cheat-code suit I wear to avoid overthinking. Today, I re-wore the set along with Zendaya, who added it to her The Drama press tour style.

Less than twelve hours after her "something borrowed" (Cate Blanchett's favorite Armani Privé dress) graced the film's Rome premiere, Z looked ready for work in black-and-white selects. Stylist Law Roach selected the same base layer I do: a crisp, white button-down. I thought my black blazer was sleek, but Zendaya's oversize collar and structured lapels blew mine out of the water. Plus, it added visual interest to the classic color story, without axing Zendaya's affinity for minimalism.

The office-appropriate similarities continued between Zendaya and I once she slipped on black trousers. Like mine, her pair was fitted through her thighs, before flaring out ever-so-slightly over her heels. Contrary to my chunky socks (I work from home, okay?), the Euphoria actor wore her signature Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps. She strutted in the same black, 4.75-inch stilettos on The Drama's red carpet last night.

The only thing missing from Zendaya's professional 'fit? A designer laptop bag, but that's not out of the ordinary for her: She hasn't carried a single purse during The Drama rounds. In fact, her work bags—of which her closet has no shortage—have been MIA since Oct. 2024, when she carried the Louis Vuitton Neverfull in NYC. But perhaps the bottomless bag is back at her Roman hotel room. A Hollywood star like Zendaya can't embark on her first of four 2026 press tours without one, after all.
