Mark your calendars: Ruth Bader Ginsburg's first book since becoming a Supreme Court Justice will be released in January 2017.
My Own Words will be "a selection of writings and speeches by Justice Ginsburg on wide-ranging topics, including gender equality, the workways of the Supreme Court, on being Jewish, on law and lawyers in opera, and on the value of looking beyond U.S. shores when interpreting the U.S. Constitution," according to a press release from publisher Simon & Schuster.
The 82-year-old has been busy lately with the historic Supreme Court case Whole Women's Health v. Hellerstedt, the most important abortion case the court has heard in two decades. She'll write an introduction to My Own Words, in addition to the pieces from her existing writing and speeches. Her official biographers, Mary Hartnett and Wendy W. Williams, will select the writings and include introductions to the chapters.
Hartnett and Williams will also release Ginsburg's official biography at a yet-to-be-announced date. Notorious RBG mania is clearly just beginning.
