After a 2005 tape surfaced in which Trump tells Billy Bush he can do "anything" to women, including "grab them by the pussy," thanks to his fame, his wife, Melania, responded saying the comments were "unacceptable and offensive." But his daughter Ivanka Trump has so far remained silent on his remarks.
A separate recently unveiled tape, however, Trump has a vile conversation with Howard Stern in which they specifically discuss Ivanka. In this gross interaction, Stern asks if it's okay to call his daughter Ivanka a "piece of ass" and Trump says yes.
While she hasn't issued a statement, Ivanka was sitting in the front row at Sunday night's presidential debate, supporting her father. And today, in a very surprising move, she "liked" a tweet about her dad's "piece of ass" statement. The tweet links to a Huffington Post story which runs through a tally of Trump's recent comments. Then, hours later, she unliked the tweet.
Um, maybe she was marking it to read it later? Cosmopolitan.com reached out to reps for Trump and Ivanka for comment, and they did not immediately respond.
Update 10/10 3:20 p.m.: A source close to Ivanka's company tells Cosmopolitan.com: "A simple mistake was made by a staff member."
