Watch Michelle Obama's Final Speech as First Lady

Michelle Obama gave her final speech as first lady on Friday, delivering her remarks at an event honoring the 2017 School Counselor of the Year. The ceremony, which the first lady introduced in 2015, throws a spotlight on high-school counselors who have demonstrated leadership skills, according to CNN.

President Obama is planning his own farewell address in Chicago on Tuesday, Jan. 10, but ahead of the speech, the first family is hosting a farewell party tonight at the White House. Chance the Rapper, who hails from Chicago, is expected to attend along with a slew of other celebrities, according to The Associated Press.
