Hebah Kassem is experienced in policy, community & grassroots organizing, and political strategy. Currently, she serves as the Organizing and Policy Associate at the Progressive Caucus Action Fund, where she leads the organization’s advocacy efforts on Medicare for All. She also supports their policy, legislative, and advocacy efforts on issues impacting communities of color, immigrants, and low-income communities. Hebah is the proud daughter of Palestinian refugees and is a second-generation immigrant dedicated to empowering communities of color and immigrants to eliminate disparities aimed at achieving health & racial equity. She has also held leadership roles on numerous progressive electoral campaigns. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Illinois-Chicago and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan.
