She's interviewed drag queen activists, pop stars, ghost hunters, cowboys, and politicians, covered festivals like South By Southwest, Sundance, and Austin City Limits, and from 2019 to 2022, she served as Texas Monthly’s unofficial Selena correspondent. Her expansive taste in music has allowed her to cover a broad range of artists, from Chappell Roan to Omar Apollo, Doechii, Shaboozey, Demi Lovato, Young Miko, and CMAT. She's profiled Rosalía for the covers of Rolling Stone and Dazed, and been featured in SPIN, New York Magazine, Vogue, GQ, the LA Times, Variety, The New York Times, and others.
