Fashion Week in Brazil - Running in Heels Video

I'm in Brazil for fashion week and Nina just arrived this morning, so, we're heading over to hit some of the bigger shows. First up Cris Barros a big Brazilian designer not yet well know in the US.

Hi.

Very nice to meet you, I'm Nina Garcia from Marie Claire. I'll see you in the runway.

Brazil believe we came into the lime light in fashion because of the beautiful models, but behind all that they have an incredible fashion industry. They put a lot of passion in their work and it shows. That was a really beautiful show, what do you think?

Yeah, I thought it was really adorable.

And it felt very much in trend with what we've been seeing for spring '09.

It's gonna be fantastic, that's swimwear, its Brazil--

it's the beach.

We're at the Rosa Cha show and it embodies what Brazilian swimwear it's about. It is sexy, fun, and just uses a lot of great material.

How do you like everything so far?

The shows have been fantastic. There's a real sophistication with the materials.

Nina's gonna be busy with press for a while, so, I'm taking this opportunity to do my final search for absolutely new Brazilian designers unknown in the US. It's my last chance to really impress Nina.
