Donald Trump Gives Zero Effs About Appearing in Terrorist Recruitment Video

His approach to life is literally ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Please cast your mind back to a time before Donald Trump was being attacked by traumatized bald eagles. A time when he not-so-helpfully suggested that the United States ban Muslims from entering the country. (So much yikes.)

After some global side-eyes at Trump's remarks, several politicians voiced concern that he was playing into the hands of terrorists. Flash-forward a few weeks later, and Trump's controversial statement has been included in an al-Qaeda affiliate recruitment video. His response? Basically an elaborate version of "meh, whatevs."

"They use other people, too," Trump said on Face the Nation. "What am I going to do? I have to say what I have to say. And you [know] what I have to say? There's a problem. We have to find out what is a problem. And we have to solve that problem."

It goes without saying that banning Muslims from entering the country is the very antithesis of the ideals America was founded on, so perhaps there's a different solution to Donald Trump's problem.
