Even if you're not a beauty editor, you're likely inundated with beauty trends on the daily. From glazed donut skin to cloud blush to jelly manicures, the options seem endless and can make it hard to figure out what's actually worth trying. So we decided to do something about it. We tapped Revlon and celebrity hair colorist Cass Keading to help us narrow down fall's top four hair color trends, then built an interactive, color-drenched space for guests to fully immerse themselves in the shades of the season. Hosted by Kate Bartlett—content creator, friend of the brand, and a Revlon ColorSilk™ Hair Dye user herself—the event welcomed tastemakers, editors, industry insiders, and New York locals into the SoHo Revlon Hair Color Studio for a day of color exploration, expert hair tips, delicious treats, and more.
Not to give you FOMO, but here's everything you might have missed from this past weekend's event.
The Butter Blonde Bakery
Inspired by the Revlon ColorSilk™ Golden Blonde shade (#71), the Butter Blonde Cafe was a warm, decadent space where guests could enjoy delicious baked goods while experiencing the hue firsthand. According to Keading, the Butter Blonde trend is perfect for fall because it blends lighter, brighter tones with warm, richer tones, making it dimensional and endlessly flattering. While blonde gets a bad rap for damaging hair, Keading says she likes Revlon's ColorSilk™ Hair Dye because it contains a Bond Repair Complex that helps strengthen and soften hair and reduce breakage.

The Midnight Noir Maison
If Butter Blonde is the light hue of the season, Midnight Noir is fall's trending dark hue. Based on the Revlon ColorSilk™ Intense Indigo shade (#21), the Midnight Noir Maison was a moody, deep black-blue space where guests could create their own embellished silk scarves. The DIY scarf bar was inspired by the unique nature of the hair trend—dyeing your hair this polished, edgy, and unexpected shade is sure to help you stand out. And if you're worried about grays poking through with a darker hair color, Keading notes that Revlon's ColorSilk™ Dye provides 100% gray coverage.

The Roasted Dark Mocha Espresso Bar
"I'm biased, but this is my favorite shade," joked Keading, pointing to her own hair color, which is the same rich, dimensional brown as the Roasted Dark Mocha trend. Inspired by the Revlon ColorSilk™ Dark Brown shade (#30), which has espresso brunette overtones and velvety-soft mocha undertones, we designed the Dark Mocha Espresso Bar, where guests sipped on lattes of their choice (I went with the Cinnamon Dolce) and enjoyed chocolate treats.

The Radiant Raspberry Room
If you're looking for endless compliments—or at the very least to turn heads—try the Radiant Raspberry trend. Inspired by Revlon's Radiant Raspberry shade (#56), this color blends deep raspberry with soft red-violet undertones for a bold, standout shade. She also says that red hues reflect light more than any other color, so expect super shiny strands post-dye. I asked Keading if the color would show up on darker hair tones like my own, and she said the bold color is specifically made to be visible on darker hair. Plus, all Revlon ColorSilk™ dye is fade-resistant for up to eight weeks, so you don't need to worry about your color turning dull.
To pay homage to the trend, we created an elevated Radiant Raspberry room, complete with velvet curtains, cozy lounge chairs, and an AI-operated photo booth that allowed guests to snap a photo and swap their hair color for one of the four trending Revlon shades.

The Perfect Your Pony Touch-Up Station
Revlon recognizes that not everyone wants to dye their hair for fall, so we also featured their latest innovation, the Revlon Root Erase Hair Concealer, at our Touch-Up station. Slick backs, top knots, and ponytails are not going anywhere this autumn, and Revlon Root Erase makes it easy to try them while covering gray strands, visible roots, or thinning hair. The cream-to-powder formula blends seamlessly with existing hair color for a quick no-mess cover-up—and it lasts 24 hours or until you wash it out. At the Touch-Up Station, guests could try Root Erase while learning how to nail fall's perfect pony with the help of Keading and Bartlett.

Finally, no great party is complete without favors. Attendees walked out with a gift bag containing Revlon's Root Erase, the Revlon ColorSilk™ After Color Conditioner—a post-dye essential that uses Bond Complex to strengthen, soften, and boost shine—and a full portfolio of Revlon's ColorSilk Hair Dye options.
