Amy Schumer Gave a Hilarious Shoutout in Her Emmys Acceptance Speech

Cutest moment ever.

During her Emmys acceptance speech for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series for Inside Amy Schumer, she revealed just how unsure she was that her show would even get off the ground in the first place. "We had to get [screenwriting software] Final Draft once they picked up our show. We didn't own it," she said. "I almost made a stupid sex talk show that nobody wanted, and [head writer Jessi Klein] got drunk and told me that I had to follow my dreams and make my dream show."

Then, it was classic Schumer all the way. Clearly emotional and struggling to remember who to thank, she instead said, "Thanks everybody who has helped me. Thanks to the girl who gave me this sort of a smoky eye. I really love it." She got one of the most genuine laughs of the night.
