Jim Carrey's girlfriend, Cathriona White, has committed suicide, TMZ reports. An Irish native who was just 28 years old, White was reportedly discovered by two friends on Monday night at a residence in L.A., where she had died presumably of a drug overdose.
Carrey, 53, began dating White in 2012, but the relationship only last a few months. Then, in May of this year, US Weekly reported that the couple rekindled their romance—but it appears that they broke up again before White's suicide.
