Dressed to Thrill: Clémence Poésy in Chanel

With his genius design skills and flair for the dramatic, Karl Lagerfeld is the ultimate style showman. Each year, he unveils his cruise collection in a different exotic locale, and last week, Cap d'Antibes, France was the designated destination for his Resort 2012 runway presentation.

Tons of celebs turned out for the event, but we were particularly stunned by the lemon yellow tweed frock from Spring 2011 that French actress Clémence Poésy selected. While the pale hue draws emphasis to her blonde locks, the ostrich embellishment adds plenty of whimsy and 20s-era charm.

Clémence ditched the chunky "flatforms" with which the look was originally shown in favor of satin pumps, minimal makeup, and a simple chignon for an ensemble that's tout fait parfait in our book.
