"I'm like the richest person I know and I have a one-bedroom and a walk-up," Amy Schumer said of her NYC home earlier this month. "My bed folds up into the wall and I iron there."
Well, as it turns out, she was just joking. While it is true that the Trainwreck star does indeed live in a walk-up, the $1.6 million one-bedroom apartment is really much more of a penthouse.
There's no fold-up bed in what is the entire top floor of a turn-of-the-century townhouse. Just high ceilings, multiple fireplaces, a private rooftop terrace and a secret garden—among other amenities.
Clearly, Schumer's not one to brag.
Located only one block away from Central Park on Manhattan's Upper West Side, the comedienne's living space is what home-owning dreams are made of. Below, a look at the envy-inducing digs:
First, the outside view.
A living room complete with high ceilings, a wood burning fireplace and built-in bookcases.

An oversized bedroom and absolutely no sign of a fold-up bed. Oh, and another fireplace.
A bathroom, made chic by a marble countertop and claw-foot bathtub. While you can't see it here, we'd like to point out that this room also includes a washer and dryer. For New York standards, that's the definition of luxury.
A skylighted kitchen with two under-counter Sub-Zero refrigerators.
A private staircase that takes you up to the rooftop terrace.
The rooftop terrace in all its glory.
Last but not least, the *secret garden.* Okay, so we just like calling it that.
