Nicki Minaj (opens in new tab) may have stirred up some drama Sunday night while accepting her BET Award for Best Female Hip Hop Artist, which she was nominated for among Iggy Azalea, Eve, Angel Haze, and Charli Baltimore.

Minaj made a very unsubtle jab in reference to rumors that Azalea (opens in new tab) uses ghostwriters. "What I want the world to know about Nicki Minaj is when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it," she said. As the audience went wild, Minaj whipped her hair and flashed some poses before adding, "No, no, no shade, no, no, no shade." At the end of the speech, she said, "I hope and pray that BET continues to honor authenticity."

It wasn't all shade, though. Minaj commented, "I thank god that I've been placed in a position to do something and represent women in a culture that is so male-driven." With this being Minaj's fifth year winning in a row, we think she's doing a pretty cool job.
