Big Girl in a Skinny World: The Belt, a Fashion Must-Have

My suggested must-have item for this week is something that I'm sure you all have. I'm talking about a belt. It's not like I think wearing a belt is ground breaking, but it is, in my opinion, the most common missing item in an outfit. A belt at the waist can instantly turn a frumpy dress in to a well-fitted number. Aside from its amazing cinching qualities, it can also serve as a statement piece and help to draw the eye to the slimmest part of your body. 

Pick up a belt in a bright hue to add color to an all black ensemble. Target has several options and carries belts to size XXL. Try the Women's Mossimo Link Belt in purple or the Women's Merona Trouser Buclke Belt in green or orange. If you are looking for a neutral option with a little more flair, try Old Navy's Women's Plus Suede O-Ring Belt in Black Jack or Chinchilla. Looking to add a wild accent to your outfit?
