Kylie Jenner's Ever-Changing Hair Is a Coping Mechanism, Says Kylie Jenner

News flash: Deep is dope.

I'm still lobbying for a segment within the weather report during which Al Roker tells us what color Kylie Jenner's wig is that day, but it turns out Kylie Jenner's amazing Technicolor hair has a more personal meaning.

In a piece of premium content published behind a pay wall on her website, the aspiring actress explains that playing with wigs and extensions 1) saves her real hair from damage, and 2) "makes [her] feel so good about [herself]" mostly because it doesn't make her feel like herself. 😞

"I first dyed my hair when I was 16," she wrote. "I dyed it blue and I never even asked my mom. After that, I've just had this addiction to changing my hair. It makes me feel like a new person. I love feeling different and I love leaving the house knowing that nobody has ever seen me this way."

Logically, forward thinker Kyles is wary of reverting to her "normal short, black hair," because it's "like I'm going back to that moment a year ago and I just don't want be in that space."

That took a...psychological turn, but as long as she's happy.
