IRL Jaime Lannister Feels "Disgust" When Kissing Cersei, But in a Cute Way, Promise

Their off-screen relationship is decidedly more appropriate than their on-screen relationship.

Game of Thrones has a strict "get it, girl" policy when it comes to incest, and therefore Jaime and Cersei Lannister have spent a lot of time making out on screen despite being brother and sister. Think of their relationship as a medieval Flowers in the Attic, only said attic is a rusty throne.

Off camera, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Lena Headey are more like actual brother and sister (as opposed to brother and sister lovers), which makes kissing scenes somewhat awkward.

"Lena Headey is brilliant as Cersei," Coster-Waldau says. "We know each other so well now that it feels weird every time when we have to do a kissing scene. So as soon as they yell cut we make faces of disgust, not seriously, but it does feel a bit wrong."

It's pretty normal to feel grossed out by kissing someone you have a sibling-esque relationship with, a lesson Cersei and Jaime should probably have learned before having sex next to their son's corpse. Just sayin'.
