It always puts a smile on my face when designers collaborate with charities, so you can imagine the size of my grin when I heard that Fiona Kotur had designed a bag to benefit Operation Smile...and that she did so with my cousins Gillian and Lydia! The philanthropic trio are all huge supporters of Operation Smile: Fiona consistently donates proceeds from her eponymous KOTUR bag line to Op Smile while Gillian and Lydia are Smile Ambassadors; both have gone on missions with the charity since 2005. And now, they've all come together to create a chic clutch that is making me — as well as countless children around the world — smile!
Elle Macpherson was the first celeb to be seen rocking my cousins' clutch. For every "Smile Bag" sold, 100 percent of proceeds go to Operation Smile, an international organization that provides free surgeries to children and young adults born with cleft lips, cleft palates, and other facial deformities.
Check out my family! The first picture shows the lovely Lydia wearing her "Smile Bag" and in the second, Gillian is sporting it with her mother (and my aunt), Patty.
The limited-edition "Smile Bag" is available on KOTUR's website for $395, and as I mentioned before, all of the net proceeds go directly to Operation Smile. This is a great charity working with a talented designer and my amazing cousins, so please show your support by buying a clutch today!
