Help Survivors of Sexual Assault

Special Offer

In 2002, actress Mariska Hargitay, who stars as Detective Olivia Benson in the hit NBC show Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, started the Joyful Heart Foundation to help survivors of sexual assault heal, mind, body and spirit.
Currently in its fourth year, JHF offers healing retreats for survivors in Kona, Hawaii, that include swimming with dolphins in the wild, art therapy, surf camps with world class ROXY Team Riders, and time for participants to work with counselors and their peers to help process their experiences. In addition to the retreat programs, JHF connects people all over the world with the resources they need to get help and stay safe.

A limited edition "Joyful Heart" shower gel, $20, will be sold exclusively at DrugStore.com

One hundred percent of the proceeds will go directly to support JHF's retreat programs. The ocean inspired bottle also has a poem written by Hargitay to help inspire women to trust their instincts and listen to their hearts.

"When you consider 1 in 4 women are affected by sexual assault, these statistics demand our immediate attention. We are delighted to be the first beauty brand to spotlight this cause," says Philosophy founder and CEO Cristina Carlino.
