Get to Know Lana Condor, Star of Netflix's New Rom-Com
She has an obsession with puppies, hiking, oh, and pasta. Relatable.
Lana Condor's secrets spill out in Netflix's new rom-com drama To All the Boys I've Loved Before. Her real life is a lot less cringeworthy. Think: Hiking, hot yoga, and surfing.
Age: 21.
Lives in: Los Angeles.
You know her from: X-Men: Apocalypse (2016).
What do you do in your downtime? Hike Runyon Canyon in Los Angeles. Everyone takes their dog there. That’s the best part, seeing the most adorable L.A. puppies running around feeling dirt underneath their paws for the first time in their lives.
Favorite sport? Surfing. It looks beautiful and graceful. You think, Oh, this is going to be easy. But it’s really, really not. One time I went bodysurfing in St. Bart’s with a friend. The waves were so intense, and my body was just getting torn up by them. But it was so freeing…but also I’m never doing that again.
Favorite TV show? I just watched Ugly Delicious. It’s a Netflix original about food cultures around the world. I love food shows. I also just binge-watched all of New Girl for, like, the fifth time.

How do you find your chill? Hot yoga. I go to CorePower Yoga Studio in Hollywood. You leave completely drained.
Your going-out playlist? When I am driving to an audition, I listen to the 'Hamilton: The Musical' soundtrack. It’s super inspiring, but also, if I kind of sing-slash-rap along to it, it helps me with my pronunciation and dialect.
Ideal Saturday night out? Maybe see a movie and then go dancing. Oh, and having really good pasta! Oh, my God, I love pasta.
