This time of year, I tend to get more avant-garde with my personal style, whether it's sparkles, exaggerated sleeves, an embellished shoe...the list goes on. I get that this all reads very over-the-top, but the holiday season gives us the opportunity to try something out of our comfort zone. Just call it festive fashion—and what’s more festive than a bow? Velvet, satin, brocade, tulle: There are endless options, many of which won’t blow your holiday budget. Top off your favorite party look with a big Rococo hair bow. Too Marie Antoinette? How about scattering a few bow clips throughout your hair to add an element of sweetness to your wardrobe? Let your braid-tying bow peek out from under a beanie when you go ice skating. Hair bows are this season’s holiday adornment. Happy holidays and enjoy festive dressing. I know I will.
