Ohhhhh, you thought the metallic body tattoo moment was over? That's funny, because Rihanna just decided they're not going anywhere...
The ink-happy songstress has collaborated with L.A.-based designer Jacquie Aiche, for whom she has been a longtime supporter, on a line of intricate gold and black tats that we can't wait to decorate our limbs with.
The seven-piece, mix-and-match set features D.I.Y. chain sets, arm bands, chokers, nameplates, and more. Available exclusively at jacquieaiche.com, the set will run you $27—a steal compared to RiRi's custom designer ink from artists Keith McCurdy and Cally Jo, or Aiche's fine jewelry pieces that are priced in the thousands.
"Creating the tattoos was a really collaborative process between Rihanna and myself," Aiche told WWD. "There are gothic tattoos, but then we mixed in lots of daintier pieces for layering that are reminiscent of the way we stack our jewelry."
And if you like what you see, get ready because Aiche is already teasing a second flash tattoo collaboration with RiRi, which will be "something a little softer and sexier with some unexpected inspiration." Sounds about right.
