Carly Fiorina is strongly against Planned Parenthood. She wants the government to stop giving it money and has frequently touted wildly exaggerated claims about the organization. When Ted Cruz announced on Wednesday that she will be his running mate if he gets the Republican nomination, Planned Parenthood issued a statement saying the pair "give women in this country nightmares."
So it's amusing that CarlyFiorinaforVicePresident.com currently redirects visitors to a donation page for the Planned Parenthood Action Fund.
It's unclear whose behind the move, but maybe this shouldn't come as a big surprise. Fiorina failed to buy CarlyFiorina.org when she announced her run for the GOP presidential nomination last year. At the time, the site contained a note reminding visitors of the 30,000 people she laid off while CEO of Hewlett Packard. And in the run up to Cruz's announcement yesterday, a self-proclaimed conservative named Matt Mackowiak tweeted that he'd bought CruzFiorina.com, which now takes people to a donation site for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
