What Does Your Valentine's Day Bouquet Really Mean?
What Does Your Valentine's Day Bouquet Really Mean?
Valentine's Day means candy, romantic dinners and, of course, flowers. I was astounded to find how many meanings there were for flowers beyond white rose means friendship and red rose means love. After learning these meanings, I realized that I could open a florist and use these floral meanings to create full on bouquets for any type of lover who came in. Here are my arrangements based on the flower meanings:
We should just be friends.
ROSE, LEAF: You may hope
ROSE, YELLOW: Joy, friendship
CARNATION, STRIPED: Refusal, No, sorry I can't be with you
I love you for your money.
ALSTROMERIA: Wealth, prosperity, fortune
