Janet Jackson just welcomed her baby boy to the world, and for those of you anxiously wondering if she'd name him Michael, the answer is nope. Instead, the 50-year-old icon and her husband Wissam Al Mana went with the slightly less expected (and ultra sweet) "Eissa."
According to websites devoted to decoding such things, Eissa is Hebrew and means "salvation." It's also extremely uncommon, and therefore extremely celeb-approved.
"Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world," a rep for Jackson tells People. "Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably."
Congrats, Janet and Wissam!
