Adele won Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards, something many would consider to be an upset due to the *insane* strength of Beyoncé's Lemonade—an album that had a huge social impact, as well as an artistic one.

But a tearful Adele explained that she couldn't accept the award, telling Beyoncé that she deserved to win. She also said: "The way you make my black friends feel is empowering."

Understandably, Beyoncé was moved to tears:

Congratulations, Adele—for the win, and also for the perfect response to it.
