Step 1. Start with second day or air-dried hair.
Step 2. Separate the front pieces of your hair.
Step 3 and 4. Next, part the rest of your hair into two sections and then tie into a knot.
Step 5 and 6. Continue to repeat knotting your hair until you've reached the ends.
Step 7. Secure the knot in place with several bobby pins. Leave the ends out.
Step 8, 9, and 10. Now, take the front pieces of your hair and bring them to the back, tying them under the knot you have in place.
Step 11. Continue to tie the hair until you've reached the end.

Step 12. Secure that knot in place with several bobby pins.
Step 13. Gently pull at pieces of the braid to loosen the knot slightly.
Step 14. Lightly mist a hairspray over the knot to keep hair in place.
