Selena Gomez recently revealed she has been recovering from a kidney transplant as a result of her battle with lupus, and now she's telling her story. For the first time since she announced the kidney donation from one of her good friends Francia Raisa, the pair has sat down in an exclusive interview with Today.
"My kidneys were just done," Gomez reveals. Today's Savannah Guthrie then responds, "You feel like Francia saved your life? Without hesitation Gomez replies, "Because she did."

The friends made headlines in September when Gomez announced on Instagram she was recovering from the transplant. The full interview airs on Today on Monday, October 30.
