Watch Kelly Clarkson's Gospel-Style Cover of Taylor Swift's 'Shake it Off'
Jesus took the wheel.

Over the weekend, Kelly Clarkson put a gospel twist on a song we didn't see coming: Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off." Clarkson re-imagined Swift's chart-climbing pop anthem at a concert in Buffalo, New York.
Before launching into the number, Clarkson invited the audience to guess what she'd be covering.
"This is a church song, this is a soulful song, this is one of my favorite songs out right now," she teased. "And you think you know it but you don't. It's not Sam Smith."
"I'm going to bring it in," she added. "Bring in a little Jesus."
Clarkson not only wowed the audience with her soulful rendition, but even Swift herself, who tweeted the following:
Now we just need Swift to cover Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone." That'd be fitting, no? Swift's new album 1989 dropped at 12 midnight and is currently curing our case of the Mondays.
