Beyoncé's Lyric-Change Fuels Rumors of Jay Z Cheating
Cue Internet freakout.
This is definitely not the kind of Beyoncé news we like to hear: Rumors of hubby Jay Z cheating on Queen Bey have been rampant since she changed lyrics around at a recent On The Run Tour stop.
At her June 28 show in Cincinnati, Ohio, Beyoncé sang 2006 track, "Resentment," dressed in an all-white bridal-inspired outfit, complete with a veil. She changed the line "I'll always remember feeling like I was no good / Like I couldn't do it for you like your mistress could" to "I'll always remember feeling like I was no good / Like I couldn't do it for you like that wack bitch could."
Even worse, she changed "Been ridin' with you for six years [...] I gotta look at her in her eyes and see she's had half of me" to "Been ridin' with you for 12 years [...] I gotta look at her in her eyes and see she's had half of me. She ain't even half of me. That bitch will never be." When she said the number 12 instead of six, the crowd went wild, likely because Beyonce and Jay Z got together around 2002.
This comes as a huge surprise, seeing as just a few days ago the two were airing wedding footage at the tour's kick-off show in Miami. But, there's little else evidence to support these cheating rumors, especially with the newest photos added to Beyonce.com making everything appear just fine. Let's hope there isn't really trouble in paradise for this power couple.
