When she filmed The Vampire Diaries in the Georgia capital, the star of this month's The Final Girls couldn't resist the city's Southern charms.

Octane Coffee was what I would have every day before work.

For Brunch:

The brunch at Superica was awesome. Another spot is Parish, with New Orleans-style food in an antiquated farmhouse setting.

For Something to Spruce Up Your Home:

Paris on Ponce is filled with eclectic antiques and home decor items.

To Buy a Present for Your Best Friend:

Sugarboo & Co. has unique jewelry, cool flasks, and wineglasses.

To Feel Like a Kid Again:

Ormsby's is a bar with fun games. I'm a kid stuck in an adult's body!

To Catch an Indie Movie:

The Plaza Theatre is a historic gem, dedicated to independent, foreign, and art-house movies as well as cult classics.

For a Run or Hike:

The BeltLine is a 22-mile loop. I loved running from my house up the BeltLine to Piedmont Park.

For a Blissful Yoga Class:

Atlanta Hot Yoga. I'm a big yogi.

For a Low-Key Glass of Wine:

The Krog Bar. A really great atmosphere if you want to go somewhere and not be bothered.

To Get Your Hair Cut:

I "make" my best friend, Riawna Capri visit to hang out and cut my hair. She co-owns the incredible L.A. salon Nine Zero One.

For a Decadent Dinner:

Kimball House in Decatur. Vintage-y vibe with a handsome bar for oysters and cocktails.

For Fancy Cocktails:

St. Cecilia is classy and close to everything. The decor is inviting, clean, and modern.

For Takeout

Thai food from Surin. Super yummy, casual, and authentic. I've been to Thailand so that's saying a lot!

For a Healthy Meal:

R. Thomas Deluxe Grill. All-organic food joint open 24 hours, which is great for a night shoot! And they have talking parrots that just hang around the restaurant.

For Comfort Food:

YEAH! Burger—amazing amazing amazing. Organic grass-fed meat, bun (or gluten-free bun!) They also have gluten-free French fries or truffle French fries. This place is the bomb! My favorite pizza spot is Ammazza, out of this world flavor. Love this joint.

To Be Alone in a Crowd:

The Botanical Gardens in Piedmont Park. So peaceful and visually breathtaking (especially in the spring when everything is blooming and they have the giant "orchid showcase.")

To Fall Back in Love with the City:

Starlight Six Drive-In is one of the last drive-in movie theaters in the country. It's a fun experience!

To See Amazing Theater:

The 1920s Fox Theatre is my favorite place to go see a show, whether it's a Broadway play or an Ellie Goulding concert. My favorite thing is the ceiling, which features animated clouds and stars that make you feel like you are outside!

To Hear New Music:

Eddie's Attic, a great, intimate venue. I've been introduced to some amazing talent on open mic nights.

For a Night of Let-Loose Dancing:

MJQ. NOT a "club" atmosphere with booths/bottle services, but an underground dance spot only open on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

When You've Got Out-of-Town Visitors:

Sister Louisa's Church of the Living Room & Ping Pong Emporium. The decor is interesting to say the least. Not a place for those easily offended.
