Nicki Minaj certainly isn't defined by her relationship to Meek Mill, nor is it the most interesting part of her life—but the time has come to get some answers about their love connection. Because, thanks to two massive diamond non-engagement rings, we have so many questions (mostly about where Meek developed such flawless taste in ice).

"I'm not engaged yet," Minaj says. "He said that my third ring would be my engagement ring. But sometimes he calls me his fiancée, and I'm always trying to stop him, like, 'Nope! I ain't got that third ring yet!' We're just taking it one step at a time."

Baby steps, if you will. And speaking of babies (see what we did there?), Minaj totally wants one. "If I get married, then I'll have a child," she continues. "And that'll be fun, because I can't wait to hold my baby."

Weddings and babies aside, Minaj is all about retaining a strong voice in her relationship, which is totally cool with Meek Mill. "I always got the sense that me being tough and bossy was a turn-on for him," she explains. "And it's important for me to keep my voice. Being in a relationship shouldn't mean that you lose your voice. Being in a relationship should mean that you've met a secure-enough man to allow you, in a sense, to remain a queen."
