George and Amal Clooney are currently expecting twins, and—considering the fact that they'll probably be running this country one day—the world is all kinds of excited. On that note, prepare for thrills because the actor has finally spoken out about the impending arrival of his children.
"We are really happy and really excited. It's going to be an adventure," he said during a recent interview (via Us Weekly). "We've embraced it with arms wide open."
Clooney also said his friends have been very "supportive" of the news, though yes, they've been gently teasing him/preparing him for the less-appealing parts of parenting (read: sobbing babies).
"There was like a table of eight guys and all their kids are away in college, and they're all sitting there being very supportive, telling me it's great and that I'm gonna love it," he said. "Then it got really quiet and they all just started making baby crying noises and the whole table just busted up laughing. It's going to change a lot of things, but you know, that's life."
