Does Olive Young offer free shipping?
Yes, Olive Young US offers free standard shipping on orders of $35 or more, based on the product total before discounts, points, shipping and tax. Below $35, standard shipping is $6.95. Orders ship via FedEx within 1 to 2 business days and arrive within up to 5 business days in the contiguous US, or up to 9 business days in Alaska and Hawaii.
What is the Olive Young return policy?
Olive Young US accepts returns of unopened, unused items within 30 days of delivery. You need to contact customer service first with a 1:1 inquiry. Olive Young doesn't provide return labels, so you arrange and pay for return shipping unless the item is defective or damaged. Food and drink, K-pop albums and merchandise, and final-sale items can't be returned. Exchanges aren't offered, and online orders can't be returned in US stores.
Does Olive Young have a loyalty program?
Yes, O.Y MEMBERS is free and has three tiers. Friend members earn 1% back in points, Green members (after $300 in qualifying purchases in a six-month period) earn 1.5%, and Gold members (after $600) earn 2%. Each point is worth $1 at checkout. All members get 10 points on their birthday, and new members get 5 points for signing up.
Does Olive Young offer a student discount?
Yes, Student Beans lists a 5% student discount at Olive Young, and you need to be an O.Y MEMBERS member to use the code. Student Beans says it can be used with product-specific coupons but not with another coupon of the same type. Recent graduates get the same 5% through Student Beans for up to five years after graduating.
Hints and Tips
Make your first order count for points: Olive Young US is giving first-time buyers 10% back in reward points on orders through December 31, 2027, which is ten times the Friend tier's usual 1% rate. Add the 5 sign-up points and the 10 birthday points (add your birthday to your account) and your second order is already partly paid for.
Plan around the $35 threshold, not just the code: The free-shipping threshold is based on product prices before discounts and points, so a code won't push you back under $35. If you're just short, a sheet mask or a travel-size cleanser is the cheapest way to clear $35 and save the $6.95 fee.
Batch your K-beauty restock to climb a tier: Tiers are based on qualifying spend in each six-month period, and one order that reaches $300 can upgrade you to Green straight away. If you buy sunscreen, toner and serums on rotation, buying them together moves you to 1.5% back on everything that follows, and Gold members earn 2%
