Valentine's Day means candy, romantic dinners and, of course, flowers. I was astounded to find how many meanings there were for flowers beyond white rose means friendship and red rose means love. After learning these meanings, I realized that I could open a florist and use these floral meanings to create full on bouquets for any type of lover who came in. Here are my arrangements based on the flower meanings:
We should just be friends.
ROSE, LEAF: You may hope
ROSE, YELLOW: Joy, friendship
CARNATION, STRIPED: Refusal, No, sorry I can't be with you
I love you for your money.

NARCISSUS: Egotism, conceit, self love, self admiration
ORANGE, MOCK: Deceit
ROSE, CORAL: Desire
TULIP: Perfect lover (he gives this part of the bouquet to himself)
EREMURUS: Endurance (he'll over compensate with this flower)
I'm stalking you (appropriately, this is the biggest bouquet—and the ugliest).
ASPARAGUS FERN: Fascination
BEGONIA: Beware
CAMELLIA, PINK: Longing for you
DAHLIA: Instability
EUPHORBIA: Persistence
GLOXINA: Love at first sight
HYACINTH, WHITE: Loveliness

I screwed up.

RETURN BOUQUET TO THIS ONE:
CARNATION, YELLOW: Disdain, rejection, you have disappointed me
CHRYSANTHEMUM, YELLOW: Slighted love
I'm secretly gay.
CARNATION, STRIPED: Refusal, No, sorry I can't be with you
LILY, YELLOW: I'm walking on air, false, gay

Boy, you crazy???
