I don’t know what it is about this holiday season, but I’m already feeling the magic in the air, and it’s only October. As I type this, I’m realizing part of it's because I had some of the most enchanted experiences learning about the industry’s best beauty launches this month, and I need to tell you about them all before I spontaneously combust.

First things first, the queen of the world, Lisa Eldridge, has a retail residency in SoHo until the end of December, and it’s like Disney World-level beautiful. Aside from the makeup artist’s ability to curate a perfect girl world, the brand launched new concealers this month, and color 25 is something I have been searching for for years. More on that to come. For the oral-hygiene obsessed, our North Star, Listerine, released a whitening mouthwash you’ll be obsessed with, especially if you love a dual-action beauty product as I do. For my self-care queens in the chat, Satisfyer (yes, the sexual wellness brand you’re thinking of) released its Pro 2 Generation 4 toy, and I have to say: I am very, well, satisfied by the new addition to the brand’s lineup.

All of this is to say that October had some fantastic launches, so whether your budget finally has a little room and you’re feeling spendy or if you’re trying to get ahead of the holiday gifting rush, keep reading for the best beauty and wellness launches from October that are actually worth your attention.

    Best Lip Liner Stain

Trace It Precision Sculpting Lip Liner - Vintage Mauve

    Point of view.
Trace It Precision Sculpting Lip Liner
    $24
    SHOP NOW

Say what you want about Mikayla Nogueira, but the POV Beauty founder knows her way around a makeup product, and these new lip liner stains are proof. They don't budge (like, not even a little bit) once set, and the marker tip shape plus the super-sharp edge keep application ultra-precise and practically dummy-proof.

Review: “I was so excited to try these, and I’m so happy it did not disappoint! I love the tip and how precise it is. I line my lips with it and use it to fill them in, too. It glides on the lips super easily, and I love that I don’t have to store it upside down. The shade is absolute perfection for everyday wear, and it lasts a long time on my lips. I’ve been wearing it quite often, and I’m already eyeing a couple more shades to add to my collection! Definitely recommend.” — Sephora

    Best Bronzer Palette

Bronze Filter Bronzer and Contour Palette - Ultra Rich

    HUDA BEAUTY
Bronze Filter Bronzer and Contour Palette
    $49
    SHOP NOW

Huda Beauty has mastered the art of a good setting powder, and the brand appears to have applied that knowledge to its new bronzer and contour palette. You get five palettes to choose from, and each includes four powders to cover any bronzey look: a true bronzer, a contour, a rosy warmth, and a soft radiance. It’s genius and the perfect addition to a holiday travel makeup bag.

Review: “I love this bronzer palette! The shades blend effortlessly into the skin and give a beautiful, natural sun-kissed glow. The formula is smooth, buildable, and easy to work with. Perfect for everyday makeup and adding warmth and definition to the face!”

    Best Liquid Bronzer

Sun Dipped Hydrating Bronzing Veil for 12-Hour Wear - Suede

    Haus Labs
    Sun Dipped Hydrating Bronzing Veil
    $32
    SHOP NOW

Haus Labs has done it again. The brand released its liquid bronzer lineup, and I haven’t put them down since. Not only does this formula blend like a dream, but I’ve also been using the shade Sienna as a blush, and if you love a warm, toasty, anti-blush moment, especially if you’re around Fitzpatrick 5, use this as your cream blush, set it with your traditional powder formula, and then report back to me on how much you love it. You’re welcome.

Review: “This color is gorgeous! I love the way this blends so effortlessly. I also like my bronzers a bit red, and this shade is perfect! They have a new customer for life with this one. I might even go back and get Mahogany too. I’m glad that they have so many options for deeper skin tones now. A true must-have!”

    Best Concealer

    Lisa Eldridge concealer

    Lisa Eldridge Beauty
    Luminist Buildable Concealer
    $39
    SHOP NOW

Concealer is a tough category to launch, but Lisa Eldridge knocked it out of the park. The Skin Luminist Concealer not only hydrates the skin, but it also self-sets, so I don’t have to reach for powder if I don’t want to, especially when I’m in a rush. Still, if that doesn’t wow you, check out the bevy of what Eldridge calls “hybrid” shades, a mix of skin-true tones and corrective hues that act as a concealer and color corrector in one. Of course, this is exactly where my perfect shade, 25, falls in the lineup, and it now makes perfect sense why I could never find a true do-it-all concealer that covered all of my blemishes but still looked like natural skin—it didn’t exist until this month!

Review: “Works very well for my under-eye area. I have quite dark circles, and this completely covers them. I found it interesting that it is not advertised as full coverage. I used to use Too Faced with great success. Luminist gives me equal coverage with the added bonus of a glow, self-setting, and no creasing! Well done and an absolute love for me!” — Lisa Eldridge

    Best Blush

Major Headlines Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush Duo & Lip Balm Makeup Gift Set - Something Sweet, Vanilla Chai

    Patrick Ta
Major Headlines Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush Duo & Lip Balm Makeup Gift Set
    $52
    SHOP NOW

Every new Patrick Ta blush launch gets me as excited as the previous iteration, and it’s not just because I enjoy the brand’s products (which, to be clear, I do). Instead, Ta seems committed to building one of the most extensive blush libraries known to man, and I LOVE it. The brand has perfected blush undertones, and as someone with a deep skin tone but neutral, golden-leaning undertones, I am so impressed. Something Spicy is the latest addition that really gives me that gorgeous warm brown cheek color that I'm obsessed with, without having to mix six blushes to get the look. I get both a cream and powder version of the shade in one compact, and in this holiday set, I also get a lip balm. Patrick, I could kiss you (while wearing my Something Spicy lip balm, of course).

Review: “OBSESSED!! The pigment is amazing; please, please, please make something spicy permanent.” — Sephora

    Best Eyeshadow Palette

Lightwork Viii Freedom Makeup Palette: Magnetic, Customizable, Stackable Palette for Eyes & Face

    Danessa Myricks Beauty
    Lightwork VIII Freedom Makeup Palette
    $132
    SHOP NOW

I collect the Danessa Myricks Beauty Lightwork palettes every year, and they are all my children. That said, can I say Lightwork VIII is my favorite so far? It feels a little sacrilegious, but it’s true—the combination of mattes and shimmers, the color stories, and even the ultra-convenient Freedom System (which allows you to deconstruct the palette to easily travel with it) all combine to create what I am predicting will be the holiday eyeshadow palette launch of the season.

Review: “This is my first Lightwork and WOW. The palette is beautiful and the shades!! I have nothing like them in my collection. This palette has me side-eyeing my other ones😂 I will def be buying more DM!”— Sephora

    Best Brow Pen

Hello Brow Multi-Bristle Tinted Brow Pen

    IT Cosmetics
Hello Brow Multi-Bristle Tinted Brow Pen
    $26
    SHOP NOW

If you're also struggling to get down with brow products, may I suggest IT Cosmetics’ new Hello Brow Multi-Bristle Tinted Brow Pen? The five-pronged tip and thick, pencil-like packaging make applying hair-like strokes much easier, and you can adjust your grip to get the ends of each brow with ease. I live for the convenience.

Review: “This brow pen is easy to use, always looks natural, and comes in four shades that truly mimic the look of natural human hair. What’s not to love?” — Ariel Baker, Beauty Writer

    Best Face Mask

    Temp Check Hot&cold Mask Duo

    SOFIE PAVITT FACE
Temp Check Hot + Cold Therapy Mask Duo
    $90
    SHOP NOW

Sofie Pavitt genuinely can do no wrong in my eyes, and this Hot & Cold mask duo is only more proof as to why. The two-step contrast mask gets dry, dull, and textured skin snatched up in minutes, thanks to the Warm Up Mask, which gently chemically exfoliates and visibly plumps the skin, and then the Cool Down hydrating mask, which floods the skin with soothing, calming ingredients like glycerin, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, and more. It’s a facial in a box, if you ask me.

Review: “Absolutely obsessed. I love a good value, and the fact that this is basically 3 products in one is amazing! I can use the cooling only if I’m experiencing redness/irritation, the heating only if I feel dull, or both when I need a full reset.” — Sephora

    Best Neck Patches

Biodance Caviar Pdrn Hydrogel Neck Patches for Neck Creases, 4ea | Neck Wrinkle Patches, Caviar Pdrn Neck Mask for Tech Neck Lines, Overnight Hydrogel Patch, Self Care Gifts, Korean Skin Care

    Biodance
Caviar PDRN Hydrogel Neck Patches for Neck Creases
    $18$17
    SHOP NOW

I’m not sure if it’s because 30 is just around the corner, but I’m so obsessed with neck care right now it’s not even funny. Biodance seems to be on the same timeline because they released their Hydrogel Neck Patches this month, and they are fantastic. The serum soaks these pads and contains PDRN, elastin, epidermal growth factors, and more, and the result? A neck that is soft, hydrated, bouncy, and hopefully line-free for a long, long time.

Review: “As someone who doesn’t quite yet have wrinkles or fine lines on her neck but wants to prevent them (since I’m in my mid-30s now), I love these patches! They’re so easy to incorporate into my weekly skincare routine. I use one when I use my BIODANCE collagen face mask and sit back with my eyes closed for 30 minutes and just relax! I was worried that having a patch on my neck might make me feel itchy or that it would fall off, but it stayed on very well and was so relaxing. They are pretty wide, so they cover a good area of the neck. I have mine slightly higher up because I have some acne scarring just under my jawbone that I prefer to give a little extra TLC to. My skin felt so nourished and moisturized afterward. It’s not too heavy and doesn’t make your skin feel clogged or greasy - just perfectly refreshing! If I were to keep on buying them repeatedly, I personally would wait for a sale and then stock up on them. But if you’re serious about your skin care, and specifically want to target your neck area, then I would definitely recommend these to you.” — Amazon

    Best Body Wash

Sex Musk Sensorial Body Wash for Moisture Barrier

    CYKLAR
Sex Musk Sensorial Body Wash for Moisture Barrier
    $35
    SHOP NOW

Claudia Sulewski, the legend that you are. The Cyklar founder recently released its popular Sex Musk fragrance in two new formats, including the brand’s sensorial body wash. Long story short, I am in love, and if you love a creamy musk fragrance, you will be too. Plus, pairing it with the matching deodorant and perfume oil will make you want to sniff yourself a ridiculous amount of times. Ask me how I know.

Review: “Never smelled anything this amazing! I love Cyklar products in general, but this is absolutely perfect!” — Sephora

    Best Niche Perfume

    Earth Eau De Parfum

    BODHA
    Earth Eau De Parfum
    $190
    SHOP NOW

What smells like rich, earthy woods with notes of Haitian vetiver, incense, labdanum, and more? That’s right: it’s Bodha’s Earth Eau de Parfum, and if you love a warm, resinous fragrance, this one's right up your alley. Think of your coziest winter vibe—chopped wood, a warm fire, a massive Christmas tree, with a light scent that softly wafts through the space—that’s exactly the vibe this perfume gives.

Review: “Bodha Earth is a grounded scent and has an earthy vibe that brings my awareness back into my humanness. There's also a light essence to it as well. It feels like walking into the middle of dense, wet woods and taking a deep inhale. It is a scent that is exactly what is needed in this chapter of my life.” — Alexis Smart

    Best Luxury Perfume

    Paris Art 26 Perfume - 100ml

    Krigler
    Paris Art 26 Perfume
    $785
    SHOP NOW

You likely already know and love Krigler (the fragrance house was beloved by people like John F. Kennedy, Grace Kelly, and more), but allow me to introduce you to the brand’s latest launch: Paris Art 26. Fig, bergamot, green mandarin, and a surprise coffee note somehow combine into a gorgeous, green-leaning skin scent, and I adore it. I don’t know how Ben (Krigler’s fifth-generation family perfumer) came up with this concoction, but consider this my enthusiastic standing ovation. Paris Art 26 is a must-have for any luxury fragrance enthusiast.

Review: “This fragrance is a masterpiece, and I do think it may become one of Krigler’s most defining perfumes. It’s perfectly unisex thanks to notes like fig, bergamot, and coffee, and that exact quality is also what makes it easy to wear year-round. It’s the perfect signature scent for anyone who wants to know that they’ll smell fresh and clean, but still interesting, while remaining inoffensive so that even the people with the most sensitive noses wouldn’t be disturbed in an open office environment. It’s a no-brainer addition to any fragrance routine if you ask me.” — Ariel Baker, Beauty Writer

    Best Mouthwash

Listerine Whitening Mouthwash, Alcohol Free, Anticavity, 16.9 Fl. Oz/500 Ml | 3 Shades Whiter Teeth in 7 Days*, Peroxide Free, Dye Free, Non-Abrasive Formula, Extra Mild Spearmint Flavor

    Listerine
    Whitening Mouthwash
    $8
    SHOP NOW

I love mouthwash, but I won’t lie, I’ve felt like the category could use a facelift for a while now. After I created my favorite oral hygiene travel product (alcohol-free mouthwash packets), Listerine has heard my cries and released a whitening mouthwash, and I, for one, couldn't be more pleased. Not only is this formula also alcohol-free (meaning there will be no excessive burning when you’re just trying to gargle), but it has fluoride to strengthen your enamel with each use, while using essential oils to help remove any stains. It’s the perfect mouthwash to use after an in-office whitening treatment to help your results last longer, but it’s also great for daily use, especially if you use whitening strips at home semi-regularly. I need 58 of them right now.

Review: “I love whitening products and have tried a lot of different whitening mouthwashes and had given up on them, but this one has actually changed my mind! It’s delicious and left my mouth feeling clean with no bad aftertaste. I also read it blocks future stains, which sounds really interesting.” — Amazon

I’m a big fan of regular “me-time,” if you catch my drift, and I fully believe in a well-stocked toy arsenal. The Satisfyer Pro 2 is the latest addition to my collection, and boy oh boy, am I satisfied. I won’t get too much into the weeds of my sex life on the internet, but just know that both my husband and I are very happy campers thanks to this little device, and the app takes the experience to entirely new heights. An essential for hibernation season, if you ask me.

Review: “This device is everything they claimed it would be. It’s now my new best friend! Once you get connected to Bluetooth, it unlocks a plethora of joy!” — Amazon

    Best Facial

    Hydrafacial Hydraclear Booster tubes

    Hydrafacial
    HydraClear Booster
    SHOP NOW

Technically, you can’t purchase this over the counter, but I love it so much I had to gush about it. If you already know and love Hydrafacials, the brand released its HydraClear Booster, designed specifically for acne-prone skin. The formula uses a triple-acid approach, including salicylic, succinic, and tranexamic acids, that work together to clear pores and help fade post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Plus, if you have sensitive skin as I do, the facial doesn’t feel too harsh. It’s the perfect reset facial ahead of the colder months, especially if you have lasers or more intensive modalities on your agenda. I highly suggest you book an appointment ASAP.

Review: “This booster is my favorite addition to the hydrafacial world since the launch of the actual modality. My skin was bump-free for weeks after the treatment, even during my luteal phase, and if you have any kind of hormonal acne, then you know how rare that is. If you’re able to, I would get the facials with this booster monthly—then watch your face glow like never before.” — Ariel Baker, Beauty Writer
