Kesha and her newly blue hair just received the Human Rights Campaign's Visibility Award, and used the platform to give a highly emotional speech about her own personal struggles, as well as those of the LGBTQ community. (Note: Kesha has been in an ongoing legal battle with both Sony and Dr. Luke, the producer she alleges emotionally and sexually abused her).

"As many of you know I am going through some personal things that have been really intense and hard lately," Kesha told the crowd while fighting back tears. "And I just want to say thank you for any support I have received."

Kesha later gave the LGBTQ community some advice that seems particularly relatable to her own situation, saying "My message to you today is don't be afraid to speak up against any injustice you experience. Don't let people scare and shame you into changing the things about yourself that make you unique."

Watch Kesha's full speech below, where she discusses fame, human rights, and feeling like an outsider.
